Long ago before Discord was defeated by Princess Luna and Princess Celestia, he had created the most corrupt and chaotic place within Equestria, a Circus. While most circuses are made to bring joy and entertainment to ponies of all age this circus was made to bring pain and suffering to those that enter. After Luna and Celestia defeated Discord they tried to destroy the Circus but when it proved that the Circus could not be destroyed by there magic they teleported it to it's own little dimension. But the Circus can not simply be held in one dimension for all of eternity. One day a small circus tent appears in Ponyville with a strange magical device in it. Twilight Sparkle and the other elements of harmony accidentally activate the device and a portal is opened, sucking them into a strange and warped dimension of pain and sadistic glee. They must escape the Circus before it can kill them, save everypony trapped in it, and save Luna from the Ring Leaders plan.
