Chapters "Look you should just tell me what i want to know, cause my two friends are very hungry." Grim said pointing to his Viper Tiger and Cobra Tiger both hissing at the bloody and beat up pegasus who was strapped to a chair hands bound behind him. Drull walked up to him and bared his fangs and hissed the Viper Tiger was a massive animal standing eye level with Grim his friend was colored dark brown with light grey stripes going head to tail his head was that of a Viper triangular and full of Tiger fangs, he had a medium and lean frame.
Walking forward Grim whipped out a razor sharp and serrated edge knife and slammed it into the pegasus kneecap twisting the knife to the side he ripped it toward him tearing the knee cap out off hanging by strands of muscle the pegasus screamed in pain. "Ow that looked like it hurt right Morg ?" Grim asked the Cobra Tiger staring at the pegasus he expanded his hood and hissed at the pegasus the Cobra Panther was pitch black excluding the skull shaped spot on the back of his hood that was a light grey Morg stood as tall as Drull but was wider and built to take damage and deal it back.
Laughing Grim walked back to the edge of the building they were standing on looking down he saw the people of Chicago moving along like ants he sighed fogging up the inside of his helmet. Looking at Grim the pegasus whose once white coat was now a rust red he looked at this assassin he mask was covered by a smiling face that made a V shaped smile that made a U shape for the bottom the mask had razor sharp teeth in it the left side the teeth were black white the between them was white the right side was opposite, the eyes of the mask were almost like the mouth the left eye was white and black, while the right was black and white.
"O-okay i'm a traitor of Equestria and a murder of seven girls please let me go." Gale stuttered crying as he did so Grim walked over to the pegasus "Thank you, Did you get that..... Good i want the bits.....no he won't live.....sir he murdered your daughter.......then consider him dead for another 6,000 bits......alright." Grim said to his employer he turned to Drull and Morg "Eat up boys you deserved it after getting him." turning away Grim heard the screams of terror, pain, and ripping of flesh.
*BEEP* Grim began to pat the pockets of his jacket searching for his phone *BEEP* then he smacked his head tapping the side he spoke "Who is this ?"
"Well my name is Grink and yes thats my name."
"Okay whatever i don't care." bringing up his arm Grim watched as the bits from his previous employer added to his already massive account "What do you want ?"
"For Shining Armor to die don't ask why."
"Captain of the guard i can do that you know where he is gonna be ?" Grim asked he turned and saw his two friends fighting over the femur of the pegasus still dripping with blood.
"He will be in a place called Ponyville with his wife casing it out for the Summer Solstice party or whatever those fucks celebrate."
"Okay so you want him dead this'll cost you around 25,000 bits."
"Fine fine just get it done." the line went dead Grim sighed Ponyville 'Fuck well i'd have to see that mare again sooner or later' Grim thought tapping the side of his head the helmet hissed and opened to reveal a black earth pony with light silver mane cut short his tail was the same color, his eyes were golden. he sighed turning "Hey, clean up this mess we gotta go to Ponyville for a job." the Tigers stopped fighting over the skull of the pegasus and began to eat the bone and flesh.
(Train to Ponyville)
Grim sat in a private cart with the two tigers sitting at the entrances and exits sleeping soundly tapping on his laptop he made and entry # 7483 'killed a murderous and traitorous pegasus i ended up feeding him to Drull and Morg after finding out he did do what my employer said he did after killing him a man called me and hired me to kill the captain of the royal guard one Shining Armor he wants him dead no questions asked.' Grim finished tapping.
Grim was wearing a black leather jacket with two grey racing stripes going down the arms he had the hood up covering his entire face, he wore black jeans with a chain going from his front left pocket to the fourth loop of his belt loops, he wore grey combat boots, strapped to his back was a grey duffel bag the had there stuff in it. The two Tigers accompanied him along the train line "Grim where the FUCK are we." Drull said in a deep male voice looking around Grim sighed "We are in my hometown."
"Really well this place sucks." Morg said in a light voice she looked at the ponies "They're scared of us sweet."
"Well you're a Cobra Tiger and Drull is a Viper Tiger plus you stand eye level with me." Grim explained the thing about Grim is he stood at 6' 11'' he weighs in at a whopping 300 pounds of muscle that showed he was lean and mean not massive and boneheaded like body builders. "Yeah Grim you sure are big."
"Excuse me did yah say Grim ?" the three heard a voice come from behind them Grim felt a chill go down his spine as he cast an illusion spell turning him into a white stallion with a black mane and tail turning he said in a voice not his he said "Yes my name is Grim but i'm from out of town the two Tigers are Morg and Drull." Grim said pointing to the Tigers in order.
Standing in front of him was.........Applejack, Big Mac, and two others he didn't know 'As good looking as-' he thoughts were cut short as a fist connected to his face sending him rocketing back into a stall shaking his head he saw the massive red stallion still in the arc of his swing standing up Mac said "You bastard i know its you and ahm gonna kick your ass." Drull and Morg block his path growling "Big Mac thats not him, Grim was a black earth pony." Applejack said stepping between her brother and the Tigers.
Grim touched his face part of it crumbled revealing black fur 'SHIT gotta run.' Grim thought replacing the hood on his head he said "I gotta run see ya Drull, Morg lets go." Grim said running full speed to the cottage he rented outside of town after running for about half an hour they reached the cottage getting inside Grim slammed the door shut and dropped the illusion "Grim DUH FUCK was that ?" Morg cried out in rage Grim sighed and face his dear friends
"Well six years before i met you guys i lived here and dated the orange mare with the blonde hair we dated through high school but the day i got my cutie mark i had to leave."
"Just because its crosshairs with two swords crossed?” Drull asked cocking his head to the side he sat close to Morg
"Because it marks me as an assassin and a damn good one." Grim said walking over to a couch and sitting down
"Grim did you tell her or-"
"I LEFT OKAY I NEVER TOLD HER I WAS LEAVING !!!" Grim roared he wanted this conversation to end
"How long did you guys date ?" Morg asked
"All of high school like i said so basically four years."
"Okay so why did that Big Mac hit you like that ?" Drull asked
"Well the day i found you guys i looked up the people of Ponyville and the month i left she tried killing herself." Grim said the Tigers nodded and went to sleep together in a corner Grim sighed sadly and went into his room to sleep.
Outside Rainbow Dash was grinding her teeth in frustration 'That bastard he came back.' she thought RD arrived after the cutie mark part of the conversation missing the assassin part she was about to fly off when she heard "RD good to see ya to bad you won't remember this." turning a fine yellow mist was blown into her face she fell to the ground.
Drull and Morg stood outside with Grim "Take her to Twilight Sparkles house tell her something." Grim said waving his hand as he walked back inside Drull picked up the girl in his mouth and placed her on Morgs back walking through town they found Twilight in the towns library knocking on the door "Yes how ma-AAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHH !!!!" a purple dragon answered and within the second slammed the door in there faces.
"When we are done Morg i'm going to feed that dragon to you." Drull said to his mate she giggled at him
"OH hello may i help you two ?" a purple unicorn said answering the door she looked mad "Stay away from Spike get me ?" sighing the two nodded and were about to say something when "Twili me and Cadence were wondering what's wrong with.........oh those two from earlier." a white unicorn stallion said walking up behind Twilight
"Shining you interrupted these two." she said annoyed turning back she smiled "You were about to say ?"
"Well this cyan pegasus followed our friend Grim to his house and well he knocked her out with JU-GU dust thinking she was a robber so we were asked to bring her to you." Drull said staring at their target.
"Oh yeah RD is still holding a grudge against Grim not your Grim the one we know, for what he did i can't blame her some of us still hate what he did." Twilight growled picking RD up in her magic walking inside leaving the two Tigers to run to there home.
"Who is this Grim ?" Shining asked his sister she walked to the couch placing RD down sighing she said "Well Grim was Applejacks one and only love he was nice and strong he fought her bullies and others." she paused "Cadence could confirm this they were in true love not some high school bull shit anyway they dated for four years and on the anniversary which is two days away gonna need to watch that." she muttered to himself.
"Anyway they were gonna meet at the place he asked her out she waited and waited but he never showed, then she learned that he left town and well a month later she couldn't handle being away from him and Big Mac found her in the barn with the barrel of a revolver in her mouth." she stopped tears forming in her eyes Shining sat down to comfort his sister "He saved her but she said she couldn't live without him and the pain was to much and Big Mac hates Grim for that so do the rest of us."
"You mares are 23 years old and still holding this grudge, in any other scenario i would have said move on but this this is okay but don't go and kill him." Shining said walking upstairs to be with his wife.
(Sweet Apple Acres)
Applejack was in her room crying she was holding a framed picture of her and Grim both smiling without a care in the world she looked into her mirror seeing the same weak mare from a few years ago winding back she threw the picture into the mirror shattering both she lay back on the bed crying. Grim sat in a tree watching Applejack crying sighing he said "I'm sorry Sweet apple but i had to leave." and with that said the wind carried him to another temporary home and the wind carried the pet name to Applejack she looked out the window just to see the leaves move.
Drinking one day doing a job another
Grim had been following Shining Armor for a 2 nights and a day he kept going into the mayors house at exactly 12:00 and stayed till 1:30 looking over papers before leaving for lunch. Smiling, Grim thought 'Tomorrow morning i'll do it then.' he thought walking into a bar called The Black Cyclone walking inside he sat at the bar ordering three shots of the strongest vodka. Applejack walked inside The Black Cyclone sitting three stools away from Grim who had his hood on she saw three shot glasses of vodka slid over to the pony.
Grim downed each of the shots with no hesitation then ordered to more looking at the barkeep who was a bat pony turning he saw Applejack 'SHIT, i don't have my disguise.' looking down he noticed she had bags under her eyes and they were red "AJ whats wrong." The Barkeep asked.
"Its nuthing ah just need tha usual." she said looking down nodding the pony poured four shots sliding three of them to Grim he handed AJ one "It's him again."
"Yeah Murphy its just this pony came into town he had his name and well...."
"Oh you mean the guy with those Tigers man i feel sorry for them."
"Why would you feel sorry fer those Tigers ?" AJ asked downing her shot she looked at the bat pony
"Well there far from home and going extinct." Murphy said Grim chuckled the Snake Tigers live underground since ponies began to cut down the rainforest they move seeds of trees underground and figured out a way to grow them he downed another three shots.
"Thats horrible and that pony is keeping them as pet while ahm gonna go an-"
"I'm not keeping them as pets." Grim said he gasped and place both hands over his mouth Applejack turned "Grim is it ?" nodding Grim continued to stare at the bar "Then what are they to yah."
"Friends, here is the payment for my drinks i gotta go, seeya Sweet Apple." as soon as he said that Applejack slammed him into the support beam "DON'T EVER CALL ME THAT." she snarled slamming him into the beam again cracking it his hood hid his face still "I-i sorry it j-just slipped." he said telling the truth she set him down "LEAVE NOW !!!!" she yelled Grim high tailed it out of there he had never ran so fast in his life not even when he had to kill that Bull dragon.
Applejack staggered home knocking on the door "Where the heck are mah key." Applejack muttered the door opened standing there was Applebloom "AJ what is wrong with yah ?" Applejack looked down at her sister then to the railing running over she puked coughing up a rainbow of colors Applebloom shook her head "AJ come on lets get yah upstairs." she said walking over to her sister.
Placing her on her shoulder Applebloom made her way upstairs with Applejack drifting in and out of consciousness reaching her room Applebloom saw the shatter mirror and the picture stuck to the board. Placing AJ on the bed Applebloom began to clean up the mess "AJ whah did you do this ?"
"Ah was angry now go away purple fox." AJ said passing out on her bed Applebloom sighed forcing the picture out of the board staring at it she saw Grim and Applejack smiling and laughing happily she sighed and placed it on the dresser facing downward.
(Next day sniping point)
Grim had his helmet on and a sniper pointed to the office Shining was always in 'He should be arriving shortly' Grim thought throwing up a glass illusion which turned him invisible. Shining took a seat and started to look through papers 'Night night you ugly-' he thought but cut himself short as he saw four ponies appear in the office with a blinding light the four were Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Princess Cadence.
Grim sighed and tried to get a shot but Twilight was in the way she was standing behind Shining talking furiously and quickly to him Grim sighed in frustration. He sat there as they argued finally Shining shook his head then Twilights horn began to glow 'SHIT she's teleporting.' Grim thought he took the shot the bullet entered the point then disappeared.
"FUCK THOSE FOUR DAMMIT." Grim roared into his helmet standing up he began to run along the roof toward the alley where his duffel bag jumping down he landed with a thud. The fall would usually break most ponies legs but Grim had bones lined with steel, dragon scales, and titanium he had cast a charm on his skin, muscle, and bones making them virtually indestructible. He began to change picking up the duffel bag he exited the alley and began walking toward his cottage.
Grim saw an ambulance go by he smiled until he saw Shining Armor sitting next to Twilight Sparkle she had a mask on helping her breath. Walking over to a pony he asked "What was that about ?"
"W-well my friend Twilight was-" the mare broke down into tears before she finished looking at her Grim realized it was Fluttershy 'Good thing my illusions up.' he thought "Fluttershy come on girl we need tah get to the hospital." came a voice with a heavy southern drawl turning he saw Applejack "Oh its you sorry about last night."
“Its okay it happens, But what happened to your friend?
"Well we were teleporting to her house and when we got there she was clutching her shoulder going into shock....We gotta go." Applejack said running off Grim nodded then went home entering his home he threw his bag at the wall "Soooo how did it go ?" Morg asked.
"Bad Twilight Sparkle teleported as i took the shot and the bullet hit her instead of Shining Armor she'll be fine it just got her in the shoulder." Grim said shaking his head "Look i'm going into the Everfree for awhile just don't make a mess." Grim walked out and headed to the forest.
(Before the shot)
Twilight was sitting on her couch talking to her friends "So Cadence when are you expecting the foal ?" Twilight asked her sister in-law she smiled "In about two months the doctor said and he said it'll be a colt." Twilight and her friends giggled excluding Applejack she stared down at the table "Applejack are you-" *BEEP* Twilight looked around for the phone standing up *BEEP* her friends began looking around *BEEP* "Got it!!” Cadence cried in victory.
"Hello ?" Cadence asked she looked around then nodded handing the phone to Twilight she said "This is for you." Twilight to the phone taking a deep breath she brought the phone to her moth
"Hello this is Twilight."
"Hello Twilight it's me Celestia i have something urgent so don't ask questions just get your brother."
"U-um o-okay."
"Your brother was marked by a fellow guard who is jealous of him for being captain so he has hired the assassin known as Shadow now i want you to go and get you brother."
"Okay what was the guards name ?"
"Its Grink he has been arrested and is facing charges."
"Okay what about the assassin ?"
"I'll just pay him not to kill your brother i have dealt with Shadow before." and with that the line went dead Twilight looked at her friends "We need to get to Shining." they nodded and with that they teleported. Landing in the office Twilight saw her brother glare at her "Twili why are you-"
"Princess Celestia told me to bring you to the library." Twilight interrupted him and then explained what she had learned Shining shook his head "That bastard oh well i've met Shadow once lets go." he said Twilight nodded she cast the spell.
Shining landed on his feet sighing he was about to ask Twilight something when she began to scream "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed cracking the windows as soon as they started they ended she was clutching her shoulder and blood ran down her hand and dripped onto the floor "TWILI NOOOOO !!" he screamed running to her side, he began to add pressure to the wound.
Cadence began to call the hospital she reached them Fluttershy walked in on the scene before her gasping she looked to Rainbow Dash "W-what happend ?" Rainbow Dash shrugged the ambulance arrived in no less than fifteen minutes they took her away Shining said "She was shot."
(Everfree Forest)
Grim was walking through the forest till he came across a group of diamond dogs harassing Rarity, a dragon and three fillies sighing he threw up his illusion. Jumping high into the air Grim came down on one of the dogs slamming his fist hard on the base of the neck breaking its spine "WHAT NO FURL YOU KILL MY-" Grim grabbed the dogs throat and crushed it like a tin can, that left three dogs.
Erm looked to see two of his brothers die he grabbed the red headed filly and ran trying to get away "You jackass put me down !!!" Applebloom yelled she was sixteen and almost as strong as her sister but because the dog held her by her midsection she couldn't buck him. Grim saw the three dogs picking up the dog he just killed he hurled it at the black dog next to a boulder the body slammed into the black dog slamming him into the boulder cracking it and sending a blood smear where the head smacked against.
Higgle watched as another brother of his died running forward he slammed a fist into the ponies face sending him into the ground there was a loud crunching sound and white flecks of his coat fell revealing his true skin color jumping up the pony grabbed the dog and brought a knife into his throat the world turned black.
Grim ripped the knife from left to right nearly tearing the head off the dog he fell turning to the final dog "You next little boy ?" the dog shook his head and tried running but Grim threw the knife it sinking all the way to the hilt at the base of the dogs skull. blood spurting everywhere.
"You girls okay ?" Grim asked his illusion breaking away revealing his true face bringing up his hand he muttered "Shit." Rarity walked forward and slapped the stallion HARD across the face "YOU dare come back here !!!" she screamed into his face. Grim rubbed the side of his face "Sis do you know him ?" a white filly asked she looked to be around sixteen looking scared and confused
"Yes Sweetie Bell and Scoots, NOW why are YOU back." she said pointing a finger in his face sighing Grim moved it out of his face "Look your friend was taken i'll go get her and then i'll answer you questions." Grim yelled then began to hunt down the dog who took Applebloom 'Damn Applebloom grew up.' Grim thought running into the middle of a barren field stood Erm and Applebloom.
"Stay back pony or a blow out the girls brains and i will do it !!" Erm yell Applebloom saw Grim and her eyes became pinpricks with anger she pulled down the dogs hand "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE WHY ARE YOU HERE !!!!!" she roared Erm covered his ear "No yelling please it-" thats as far as he got a knife was sticking out of his right eyes socket he let go of the girl clutching his eye he screamed in pain and fear.
Grim rushed forward kicking up dust and rocks he grabbed the dog by his throat cutting off the screams of terror "Shit up." Grim snarled bringing up his other hand he grabbed the dogs mouth and flicked his wrist to the right snapping the dogs neck making his head face away from him.
"ANSWER ME WHAH ARE YOU BACK GRIM !!!!!" Applebloom roared at him turning Grim thought ' me killing this asshole doesn't scare her' then he saw her trembling smiling he felt a fist connect to his face rocketing him back "ANSWER GRIM NOW !!"
"Ugh i was passing through short stack calm-" he was hit in the face again
"Don't you dare call me that you lost the privilege six years ago."
"Okay look i didn't want to leave so-"
"Applebloom your okay !!" turning the two saw Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle running over to there friends hugging her she continued to stare at Grim who was clutching his jaw still Rarity walked over and kicked him in the face "That is for AJ." she snarled walking "Sis why are you and Applebloom hurting him ?"
"He dated mah sister fer her entire High school year and on their four year anniversary he up and left her there waiting there no i'm leaving you or anything then he left town." She said getting madder "About a month later she tried killing herself because of him and thats why we are doing this." Sweetie Belle and Scoots looked to him he looked down at the ground a tear falling down his cheek.
Turning the mares noticed that he had left them with nothing except a canister filled with a strange yellow dust it started to beep three times then the dust exploded out coating the mares in it and making them pass out cold whil it destroyed their memory of him but not the fight.
(Three days later)
Grim was sitting in his rented cottage 'FUCK MY LIFE !!!' he roared in his thoughts slaming his fist into the coffee table shattering it "Grim you know our employer ?" Drull asked walking in the room he had been away scouting Canterlot "Well he is arrested so what do we do ?" Grim turned to Drull and said "I'm gonna get Shit faced and hopefully get rid of this pain." standing up he started to walk to The Black Cyclone.
Grim began to think 'Okay he is in jail but Celestia is coming here might have to watch that .' he thought walking into the bar he sat down and order the ENTIRE bottle of the places strongest vodka he took a massive swig from it "So whats wrong with you big guy ?" turning Grim saw Rainbow Dash and Applejack 'Good think my illusions up.' he thought "Well at my old town my mare friend had tried um..... killing herself and well that was after 3 and a half years of dating because i had to leave and when i came back they all wanted to beat the shit out of me." Grim said taking a swig of the vodka again before continuing "Anyway i couldn't stay there so i left and moved here." Grim lied the mares nodded there heads sat down and started drinking looking at the clock 'Tomorrow is gonna be a long day better go.' he thought.
Looking around he noticed a Griffin and Pony pointing at a map of Ponyville 'Assassins.' and with that thought he stood up and left walking by there table to check out the map it had X's all over it marking areas where Celestia would be Grim shrugged and walked home.
"Guys we have assassins her they're going after Celestia." Grim said staggering into the house before passing out. Drull looked to Morg "So what are we gonna Celestia is coming tomorrow ?" Drull asked Morg said "We fight them and then leave." nodding Drull walked over to the corner and lied down motioning for Morg to join him she did. Grim snorted loudly in his sleep having a nightmare.
(Grims mind)
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO." Grim roared running forward to stop the younger self from killing his father with the hunting knife slaming it into his throat "Stay away from Applejack." the younger Grim said as his father slumped to the floor his arm burned for a second looking down he saw that his cutie mark crosshairs and two swords crossed.
Grim turned away from the memory slaming his fist into the ground he sent a shockwave through his mind shattering the memory and making his mind go black. Grim sat down and closed his eyes hearing nothing and seeing nothing "Finally alone." he said smiling he then felt a hand on his shoulder he turned seeing princess Luna standing there with a sad look in her eyes "Grim stand up." she said he slowly stood "Why do you pain yourself with this memory ?"
"Because of what i've done is uncalled for." he said
"So your Grim the one who broke AJs heart." turning he saw a purple alicorn cocking his head to the side she continued "I'm princess Candence sorry i had to tag along hmmmmmm." she walked forward and leaned down looking him in the eyes.
"Whats she doing ?" Grim asked backing up trying to get away from the alicorn "Well i have a special talent of telling who you love and what your destiny will be interesting," she said again turning her head to the side
"Okay and whats interesting ?"
"You have two strong love two true loves one is Applejack and the other hmmmm interesting." she said again Grim turned to walk away Celestia stood behind him staring at him coldly "Grim you went to far this time !!!" she snarled he jumped back "What i was doing my job didn't mean to hit Twilight the teleportation threw off the bullet." he stated
"Well i hope you have something to say better than that." Candence said staring at him still she looked closer "Hmmmmmm."
"Well because of this i held off my arrival another month." Celestia said she started to walk away turning back she said "I'm hiring an old associate of your i'm meeting her tomorrow." and with that the princesses left his mind Grim yelled into the blackness of his mind causing it to crack.
(Canterlot castle)
Scales made her way into the castle she walked through it making her way to Celestia and Lunas throne room Scales was a cobra she stood at about 6' 9'' and weighted at 211 pounds her scales were the color of emeralds bright and shimmering with the suns light she had black marking on her hood that swirled from the back to her eyes they were shaped like thorns, her eyes were a deep crimson.
She word a black low cut top with a green hoodie she wore jeans that hugged her figure with every step causing guards to watch her walk through the castle she work grey sneakers with black laces on the sides of the sneakers was a cartoon skull on the sides. Stepping into the throne room she saw Celestia, Luna and a third pony walking up to the three she stood there hands on hips "Excuse me but princess Celestia you said you had a job for me ?" she hissed the white stallion turned and went red faced "Hello Scales yes i have asked you here because i need protection." Celestia said
"From who ?" she asked cocking her head to the side confused
"From Shadow or how you know him Grim i think he may try to take my-" Scales started to laugh at Celestia who glared at the snake "Ma'am i'm sorry but Grim wouldn't do that he doesn't kill civilians as long as you aren't a traitor or murder, or are you ?" she said playfully Celestia stopped and thought "Okay but i'm unsure i will hire you to protect me."
"I accept when do we leave for where ever ?" Scales asked not for the job but to see Grim again 'I need to see him again' she thought happily before walking away Celestia said "We'll be leaving in a month Scales so prepare." Scales nodded and walked away to prepare for the trip.
(Month later)
Grim had slipped on his masked and was running rooftop to rooftop following the float Princesses and the mane six were on it as well. Grim saw AJ looking around sadly as if searching for something 'Fuck my life i need to end this bull shit.' he thought stopping he noticed a window open speaking into his COM "Drull do you smell those two we marked ?" he asked Drull "Yes there across the street you got this ?" Drull asked Grim shut off the COM.
Grim set up his illusion making him turn into a see through glass taking a running jump he cleared the street without breaking a sweat. Applejack looked up and saw the sun glint off something between streets "What thah hell ?"she muttered turning to Celestia she was looking to the building on the right "Ma'am he's here what should i do ?" a voice asked from beside Celestia Scales new the spell Grim just used.
Breaking through the window Grim slamed his fist into the ponie sniper with the enough force to crack his skull like an egg he rocketed back and broke through the wall "Okay one down-" a claw slamed into his face sending him into the wall shaking his head Grim looked up to see two griffins "Gilda take the shot i got this-" he cut off as a knife jutted out of his throat. Grim pushed himself out of the wall the griffin wasn't dead.
Gilda stared at her friend as he grabbed the knife and ripped it from his throat blood spurted from the wound "Take.....the...........shot." he said falling into a pool of his own blood dead Gildas sight went red. Grim was thrown out of the apartment into the street making a small crater where he landed "Ugh *COUGH* fucking bitch." Grim coughed some blood pooling ing the helmet "Sooooo hows it going ?" Grim looked up to see Scales he caught his breath.
Gilda leaped out of the building bringing her fist down towards Grim he stood whipping around he brought his hand up catching her fist swinging her around he slamed the griffin into the ground making a small crater. "So Scales what are you doing here ?" Grim asked as he brought a heavy boot down on the griffins right wing breaking it like a twig "Just protecting the princess she thought you were going to kill her."
"Hmmm well my previous employer wanted Shing Armor dead and then i find three wannabe assassins i think that this was a set up." Grim said picking up the griffin and walking up to the mane six, Shining Armor, and the princesses he slamed her into the ground. "Celestia i give you an assassination attempt i have stopped i-" a fist connected with his mask making a small crack on the surface Grim skidded across the ground.
Standing up Grim saw a fuming Shining Armor backed up by AJ and RD Grim got into a fighting stance he said "Princess stay out of this." Celestia nodded Applejack was the first to speak "You shot mah friend now ahm gonna kick your ass." Grim chuckled his voice modulator breaking up he stopped "Shit." he said the machine broke with that word letting his true voice be heard.
Shining ran forward and started to swing at the pony who blocked the punches and kicks grabbing the left jab the masked pony flipped Shining onto his back cracking the pavement. "Dumbfuck stay down." Grim said Applejack and Rainbow Dash looked to the masked pony RD rushed forward Grim brought down his head slaming the mask into her head cracking the helmet further. Shining stood up and grabbed Grim by the sleeve of his jacket swinging him around Grim was thrown into a car denting it horribly.
Shaking his head the masked figure shook his head AJ looked at him 'He has taken so much punishment and yet he fights.' she thought hearing hoof steps behind her she turned to see her brother Big Mac running up behind her he said "Sis who is that stallion ?" he jutted his chin in the masked figures direction. Shining threw a punch toward the pony snarling "YOU SHOT MY SISTER !!!" doing a round house Shining caught the pony in the ribs thinking he was done fore he felt his leg grabbed by a force looking down he saw a black aura wrapping around his foot he then was thrown upward toward the sky then brought down ontop of Rainbow Dash with a audible crack they both rolled over groaning looking up the pony saw to earth ponies watching him.
Grim chuckled at the sight Big Mac and Applejack the two strongest ponies in Ponyville versusing the one of the strongest ponies in Equestria cracking his knuckles he motioned for the two forward. They sprinted forward AJ going low Big Mac going high Grim smiled at a thought 'Lets see there faces.' he let Big Mac hit him with the right hook sending him flying and skipping across the ground like a stone across water he broke one arm and fractured a few bones standing up and only god knows how he watched the two run up. AJ and Big Mac ran up on the pony they could see his right arm bent at the oddest angle and they could see blood dripping out of multiple wounds pooling at his feet Celestia landed next to the Apples "Thats enough fighting can't...............you................oh my." Celestia said staring at the pony with his left hand he had repaired his right arm without even a whimper standing up straight she could see steam coming up off his body and his minor wounds healing and turning major wounds into moderate wounds chuckling he said "Ow that hurt please no more." he then cracked his neck and multiple joints the ponies stood there mouths agape at what just happend coughing the pony said "Still hurts like a fucker but not as much as your face looks red tomato." Big Mac clenched his fists he hated being called a tomato anger filled his eyes running forward he raised his fist the pony didn't move slaming his fist down into the ponies masked face.
Grim just coughed a little blood spattering his helmet but he kept chuckling Big Mac a stallion who could kick a tree into oblivion wasn't able to move a simple pony who barely weighted a fraction of him. Raising his hand Grim grabbed Big Macs and twisted it around and held it against his back the stallion yelped in pain picking him up with one hand Big Mac screamed out in pain as his arm popped out of his socked spinning around he threw the stallion into a car causing both to flip over. Grim coughed again more blood he needed to leave now or he risked bleeding out "We know your hurt Shadow its a matter of time before you bleed out i think you should surrender like a gentlecolt." Rarity said looking out from behind Celestia who was staring at this stallion "HA yeah no you see your princess owes me you see she know who funded the program that kidnapped me tortured me and made me into this THING." he snarled the last word walking forward Applejack said "What do yah mean ?"
"Ahhh you see a few years back i was kidnapped by well i don't know and they experimented on me by changing my DNA around you see i'm an earth pony strong and tough, but i also have the healing and speed of a pegasus, and then theres my magic which comes from unicorn horns and apparently alicorn horns as well to from what the data i stripped from there tells me."
"ALICORN AND UNICORN HORNS B-BUT HOW !?!?" Twilight yelled walking forward almost forgeting what he had just done to one of the strongest stallions she knew
"Yes Alicorn and Unicorn horns they were trying to see if they could transfer the magic of those two races and well." Grim said trailing off black flames encircling his arms and the ground burning the ground and licking at his mask casting evil shadows the mares backed away even princess Celestia "It worked but at an exteremly painful cost to me and that was after they grafted pegasus DNA hoping i would grow wings but i only gained the speed and the durability." the flames slowly went out as if they never existed.
Twilight looked to her teacher she looked scared looking back at the stallion she asked "What is your name ?" looking at him closely she could tell he was laughing getting angry she yelled "Whats so funny !?!" the stallion soon stopped coughing hunched over it sounded like he was in pain "Well you see i don't think i have to tell you."
"What do yah mean by that !?!" Applejack yelled from by the car she had been checking on Big Mac he had a broken left arm, his right arm was dislocated and a few of his ribs were broken backing away she walked up to the stallion and snarled "Cause ah think you should tell us."
"HAHA *COUGH* *COUGH* no i don't you see i'm trying to look for the head doctor and you see two years back when i did a job for your princesses they promised 'We'll tell you who did the experiments and who funded them but do this ONE job' i did and then they double cross me and try killing me." he snarled back causing the mare to stumble back falling on her flank "You see they tried and failed i then showed them my power i simply killed the guards they brought to kill me along with the late captain Star Burner and that is why you were truly promoted Shining Armor......wait where-" a hoof slamed into Grims face causing him to fly into the wall of the library obliterating the wall, books and papers.
Shining Armor looked at the stallion he was slowly standing up "Spike help me out here i think it'll take a dragon strength to take him down." Shining called to the eight teen year old dragon nodding he ran up "So what are we going to do ?" Spike asked the guard he simply said "Magic has its limits along with Pegasus healing we simply fight." they heard a deep laugh come from the library "You think you can stop me ?!?" the stallion stepped out his major wounds turning into simple cuts on his body still bleeding crimson blood landing on the pavement "I'VE LOST SO MUCH AND HAVE NOTHING IN THIS LIFE AND THE ONLY WAY I SEE ME GETTING IT BACK IS BY KILLING THE FUCKER WHO MADE ME INTO THIS !!!!" he roared Twilight hid behind her teacher, Fluttershy passed out in Raritys arms who looked at the beaten stallion, Applejack stared at the stallion his blood landing on the ground, Rainbow Dash growled and started to join the fight when a voice behind them said "Don't your friends got themselves into this mess they can get themselves out." turning they saw Scales strolling over with the two tigers "Yes if there truly strong they'll most likely survive." the viper said.
Grim was pissed now they wanted to stop him well they got a bull dragon by the horns and they were going to deal with the problems that came with that 'A dragon and Royal guard memeber this will be FUN.' Grim thought leaping forward he brought his fist now cloaked in black flames into the dragons head sending him head first into the ground cobra quick he grabbed the dragons tail swinging him around into Shining Armor who flew back into a car breaking the glass and denting the metal. Throwing the dragon straight up into the air he watched him go higher and higher till he started to fall waiting for the right moment Grim did a bicycle kick hitting the dragon in the face causing him to go towards the princesses who promptly caught the dragon in her magic he was bleeding from the mouth and ears "SPIKE !!!" the mares yelled crowding around the fallen dragon he mumbled "Princess w-what is he ?" before passing out Luna began to heal the young dragon looking back Twilight and Applejack saw the stallion walking over to Shining Armor.
Shining stumbled to his feet coughing up some blood as he did so he fell to his knees still coughing every breathe felt like hot lead going down his throat trying to stand felt like fire burning through his veins. Grim slowly walked over to Shining picking up by his hair he said "This was fun we should do it agian Shining but sadly i need to disappear." spinning around Grim threw him into the ground causing him to skip along into the mares he had both legs broken, his right arm broken, his left was fractured, and multiple ribs broken. Twilight stared at her brother who was bleeding at her feet feeling rage, pain and hatred consume her she turned snow white while her mane caught fire standing up she raised her left arm and fired a ball of fire at the stallion. Looking over Grim saw a massive fire ball coming at him raising his left arm he tried to stop the fire ball only for it to slam into his him and it exploding sending him flying back flames catching on his jacket sleeves tearing off his jacket he watched it burn as it fell turning to ash.
Twilight was still very much herself just well on fire walking forward she saw the stallion whip off the jacket and throw it to the ground the ashes spread across the ground she then saw the stallions arms scarred jagged and horrible silver lines tracing along his right and left arms. Grim flexed his arms the illusion wore off he always cast a spell to hide his scars they ran along his arms, chest, part of his face and his legs he stared a the burning mare she stood there stairing. Twilight traced the scars with her eyes this stallion he had a black coat from the looks and now she looked over his fitures he had a black coat, a snow white tail and probably a mane, he was built his muscles well defined she stuttered "Those scars why are they silver ?"
"A spell the doctors wanted me to rmember there 'love' i've seen hundreds of warlocks and spell specialist they say the spell is fused to my soul or some bull shit like that."
"B-but they don't look surgical."
"They aren't these scars are from the fights they put on for kicks and well as you can see im one of the survivors." Grim said coughing up some more blood smiling he whistled two tigers ran up and stood by his side "I must be going now to much damage to my body," a black portal opened up behind Grim turning he waved them off "So goodbye to all of you and-" Grim was cut off. Applejack and Twilight both had the same idea tackle him and take him down to stop him from the portal so he could be questioned well there aim was off all three of them tumbled through the portal leaving there friends behind to stare at the empty area.

Grim was laying on his side bleeding on the floor he coughed pain tearing through his body trying to stand he coughed again the blood filling his helmet pressing a series of buttons the mask hissed open blood spilled onto the floor he coughed again more blood. Morg and Drull raced over to Grim they picked him up and placed him on a bed charging into the room was a young mare named Fritz she was a black pegasus with a pink mane and tail she was wearing a purple shirt with black roses on them forming a skull, she wore black cargo paints with silver pouches, and she was seventeen. Kneeling by the bedside she was talking fast "Okay he has lost alot of blood i don't know if i can heal him with my magic go into the medical wing and bring me some bandages, rubbing alcohol, and some medical tape." the two tigers nodded in unison and ran off to collect the prices "Dad what happend out there ?"
(Few hours later)
Applejack started to stir waking up she was in a cell light grey but set up to be comfortable it was the size of a medium sized living room standing up she began to walk to the cells entrance stumbling a few times hearing a noise she turned to see Twilight waking up she was back to her usual self rolling off the bed she landed witha dull thud quickly standing up she screamed "WHERE ARE WE ?!?" Applejack shrugged at her friend running forward she grabbed two bars "HEY IS ANYONE OUT THERE !?!". Fritz walked up to the bars she never bothered to change her shirt was covered in the dried blood of her adopted father looking at the two mares she said "Yeah could you stop the screaming my dad is trying to sleep now could you back up and calm the fuck down."
"W-why a-are y-y-you covered in b-blood ?" Applejack stuttered at the mare sighing who simply shook her head and asked Twilight and Applejack "How did you get here ?"
"Well we tackled your dad through the portal and-" Twilight was cut off by a ten year old pegasus filly racing up to Fritz she giggled "Is daddy back is he is he huhuh ?!?!" looking closely Twilight could see scars lining the two pegasuses arms and necks gasping she looked to the black pegasus. Fritz looked down at the younger sister she was a dark grey filly with a purple mane and tail streaked with silver she was wearing a white t-shirt and yellow pants smiling Fritz said "Yes but daddy needs his sleep but Drull and Morg are here i think they'll be excited to see you why don't you go play with them." pouting the filly nodded and skipped off looking for the two tigers. Turning back to the mares she said "So now back to my question."
"We already answered it we tackled your dad through thah portal and then we woke up here." Applejack said to the mare crossing her arms she continued "So from what i can reckon you were caught up in whatever your "dad" was caught up in a few years back ?"
"Yes i was 11 when i was taken my sister who you just saw was taken at three and we both were experimented on not as long as dad but long enough the day we were supposed to get some more test done he broke out killing everybody that was a scientist when he came across our cell he was covered in black fire i thought this was the end so i started to cry and beg for my life then i felt his hand on my shoulder." she stopped telling the story taking a shaky breath she continued "Looking up he was back to normal from what i could guess he looked at me with gold eyes that held kindness, strength, and pain he said 'I'm not going to hurt you or your sister i'm here to help along with my friend Scales' he then began to move me out of our cell and covered my eyes when we reached what i could guess was the exit he asked 'Do you have any where to go' i shook my head he then told me 'Then you and your sister are coming with me' so he wrapped us in a hug and we were teleported to this place."
"So he rescued you WHY ?" Twilight said leaning forward Fritz just chuckled and said "I don't know but we staied with him for a year and then one day my sister Vertigo called him daddy and well thats when he offically unoffically adopted us."
"Are ya'll allowed to leave ?" Applejack asked sitting on the bed crossing her arms across her chest leaning back
"Yes we are this country lays in Equestria its just well this is what Vertigo calls it Lost World and well we have fun perfect weather all the time a pool out back exotic plant life i mean i have friend who come by from time to time so its a good life we have food, clothes, tech, toys and ETC." Fritz said counting things off on her fingers looking at her watch she sighed and said "I need to check on my dad then if he is feeling up to it he'll decide what to do with you." she then walked off.
Applejack watched the pegasus mare walk off fuming she kicked the bars not even denting them she growled low and deep kicking it again and again the clanging echeoing across the house. Sighing Twiligh used he magic to hold her friend still till she calmed down "Hehehe your funny." looking down Twilight saw the grey filly again leaning forward then back looking at the two mares with big yellow eyes "Well hello there my name is Twilight Sparkle whats yours ?"
"Well daddy tells me i shouldn't tell strangers my name UNLESS he gives me permission so my name will remain Secret."
Twilights right eye twitched along with her head the little filly began to giggle again pointing to Twilight she giggled "You make funny faces when your confused, stuck or angry."
"How did you know that sweety only me and ah few others knew that." Applejack said leaning forward she was interested by this little filly she was only a few years younger that Applebloom and her friends "Well when my dad or my sister were busy i would read one of the psych books he owns amongst other books so i learned to read people i also know a little bit of trigonometry and some sciences." Twilight and Applejack stared at the young filly with wide eyed stares and mouths that hit the floor the filly giggled saying "You two have funny looks again well i'm gonna go and play with the baby tigers." the filly then skipped away happily.
(Different room)
Grim began to stir his eyes fluttering open white light filling his vision grunting he forced himself in a up right position coughing a little bit he felt a warm liquid coated his bottom lip and drip onto his chest. Swinging his legs off the bed Grim tried to stand only to land on hs sde with a heavy thud coughing violently that his bones shook blood coated the floor infront of Grims face forcing himself up he tried to walk out of the room making it only halfway to the door before Fritz walked in. Seeing her father on his knees with blood dripping from his lips walking forward she got down face to face with him reaching forward she picked him up and placed him on the bed where she began to heal him. Thirty minutes pass by and Fritz finishes healing Grim sitting in the chair in the corner of the room she sighes sweat coating her face grunting Grim sits up "Fuck my everything hurts."
"Weeeeelllllllll you did show up with your ribs broken, lungs nearly torn to shreds, some of your muscles were ripped and bleeding, internal bleeding in you chest and stoach, and a dozen fractures the fact you were alive is a miracle."
"Fritz you know that miracles don't exist it just survival and i'd do anything to survive."
"Yeah just glad to have you back dad.......how long are you able to stay this time ?"
"This time i don't know i had a tiny fight with the elements, captain of the royal guard, and personal student of Celestia."
"Yeah its kinda on the new everywhere we go 'The mask pony kidnaps two elements.' and then theres 'Is this masked pony fiend or friend.' the headlines and arguments go on and on."
"Wow how long have i been out ?"
"A day or two not long."
"What do they mean by kidnaps two elements ?"
"Well Twilight Sparkle and Applejack tackled you through the portal and ended up here me, Morg and Drull didn't know what to do with them."
"Okay did they see me without my helmet ?"
"Nope all of you were knocked out when you arrived here so now i just teleported them into the special cell."
"Okay good so when should we send them back ?"
"Don't know dad." Fritz said sighing she stood up and strechted walking out of the room she stopped and said "Dad when are you going to stop looking for this ponie ?"
"Simple when he is either dead or somepony comes along and stops me hows school going ?"
"Dad its the first day summer break today." Fritz said leaving Grim alone in his room swinging his legs off the bed Grim got dress putting on a white shirt and black kahkis along with grey VANS walking over to a cabinet he opened it sitting on a glass ball was his helmet picking it up and going through some of its systems Grim left to go and talk to his two 'Guests'.
(Cell)
Applejack was staring at the ceiling now having given up trying to break out of the cell she kept trying to figure a way out of this cell so she could get back to her family. Twilight was banging her head against the bars of the cell trying to figure a way out no windows, no air duct, no locks on the door, and magical wards, seals, and blockers coated the door like sugar on one of Pinkies cakes. The two mares heard a clicking sound coming down the hall and towards them backing away from the cell door when they saw the masked stallion in a deep voice he asked "Now you two are going to answer some of my questions."
"Oh and why should we answer the likes of you ?" Twilight said crossing her arms she then added "Plus i won't answer questions to those who hide behind masks and voice modulators." shaking his head the stalliong reached up to the underside of his helmet and shut off the modulator by taking out the batteries and tossing them to Twilight. 'Its been awhile doubt Applejack would notice my voice but my face she would recognize.' Grim thought as he took the batteries out and tossed them to Twilight saying in his normal voice which over the years lost its cheerful and friendly tone instead it was replace with one colder than ice and sharper than obsidian edged knife "Happy now girl and the reason is that your in MY house and far far from home and the only way back is through me or through one of my daughters so you should want to talk to me."
"Fine but first answer this why wear the mask ?" Twilight shot back at the stallion she crossed her arms and smiled waiting for his answer Applejack leaned forward and peered at the stallion 'That voice.' she thought
"Well i wear it because in my line of work you meet some nasty people and if they can't recognize you they won't be able-" the stallion started to cough holding his side he muttered something standing straight he finished "-recognize you then they can't track you down."
"Hmmm okay..........then take it off we aren't that dangerous."
"Do you want to go home Ms. Sparkle ?"
"Yes of course i do."
"Then i keep my helmet on until i'm able to open a portal to Ponyville."
"Fine so what is it you want ?"
"First your the princesses personal student." Twilight nodded at this "Good do you know of an object known as the Eye of Ra ?"
"The Eye of Ra but thats just some old hunk of junk from Celestias trip to Egypt."
"Hahahaha *COUGH* no its a powerful item that allows the princess to see ponies all who *COUGH* walk under her sun and with it i can find some old aquantices."
"B-but t-t-that eye is under 24 hour guard and has the best of the best guarding it."
"So wouldn't be the first time i broke into a castle to do something."
"HA like you'd be able tah make it past the gates yah see aftah that little scuffle the guards are probably forming a task force to take you on." AJ said at the pony chuckling at the thought of him fighting over a dozen guards, her brother, Spike and Shining Armor
"Well Sweet apple i think i can take on some guards." the stallion said pulling his arm back he punched the bars that Twilight and Applejack have been doing all they could to break, melt or make come out of there holds bent a good 5 inches into the cell before forming back into the straight line flexing his hand the stallion popped a few of his tendons and knuckles.
"Don't you call me that yah bastard !!!" Applejack roared rushing forward she grabbed the stallion and pulled him into the bars causing his helmet to smack into the bars and crack.
"Why not ?"
"Cause only one stallion can call me that and you ain't him." she slamed him into the bars again the crack spider webbing out a signal piece fell off the helmet beg enough for the mare to make out a golden eye staring at her. Pulling away Grim broke the mares grip gently he stepped back coughing "Well i'v already got what i need while we were having a nice talk i managed to break into yours and Twilight minds i know what the outside and inside of the castle look like so you two can wait a little while." he said darkly "Oh and i'll tell Shining and Big Mac yes that was there name i'll tell them you said hello." then he walked away his boot echoing through the hall Applejack slumped to the ground crying along with Twilight they were trapped with no way out.
(Kitchen area)
Grim looked down at Vertigo and Fritz both girls were staring at him intently between the three was a chocolate triple chunk chip cookie and the last one none of the three moved then in a blur the cookie was gone with Vertigo grinning in victory "I WIN !!!" she declared happily giggling sighing Grim said "Sheesh your getting faster Vertigo and Fritz is getting stronger soon you two will be out on your own."
"No i want to be with you forever and ever daddy." Vertigo pipped up she was munching on the cookie happily smiling at him with a wide grin chuckling Grim ruffled her hair "Alright bed time i need to get something done i may be gone for a day tops."
"Okay good night daddy." Vertigo said skipping off with a pout on her lips. Grim turned to Fritz and stared at her for a second before saying "Tomorrow i go for the Eye i need you to let the two mares "escape" from the cell and then open a portal for them exactly five minutes after i leave."
"Okay but why let them go ?"
"They've served there purpose and i no longer need them and they haven't seen anything that should give away our position so its safe."
"Alright dad so when does this start ?"
"Now." Grim said backing up a light flashed and he was now dressed in full combat gear black he had his helmet on, he wore military grade kevlar infused with shield magic able to stop most magic and bullets the kevlar was built into his black shirt and hooded jacket he had the hood up, his pant were black and grey with a block formation going along them he wore black combat boots with knives strapped to each boot he carried no guns only two swords on his back and one short sword strapped to his side. Nodding to Fritz he opened a portal in the kitchen and jumped through at the moment it was 11:00 at night in Canterlot.
Questions for the monster
Grim was sat infront of the princesses and all who had saw what he did yesterday he was stuck in a bubble of magic made up of the two unicorns Twilight and Rarity along with the Shining armor, he then had the princesses magic tossed in with that so basically he was stuck until he got bored fo the Q and A looking around he sighed "So Grim is it what do you have to say about attacking the castle ."
"To get that fucking eye Celestia thats why." Grim snarled getting pissed off he coughed blood spitting up onto the floor Fluttershy looked at the stallion "P-please l-let us h-help y-you."
"How bout this Fluttershy FUCK OFF i don't need help so LEAVE ME ALONE !!" he snarled jumping forward slaming his fist into the barrier a ripple distorting his image Celestia sighed "So could you explain to us why your filled with all this hate, anger, and blood lust ?"
"Ahhh so strait into the chase well it all started when............"

Grim walked through the city he had a bandage covering his cutie mark the one he was so happily gifted with after killing his father he was out of time and bits his cutie mark said he was an assassin but could he kill someone for money. Walking through this town he sighed he somehow made it to the northern area of Equestria the snow fell hard but Grim welcomed the cold as it bit his skin and froze his coat "Excuse me mister but could you help me find my mommy ?" Grim looked back and saw a young filly dressed in a parka she was a pink unicorn with a red mane and tail her eyes were red and swollen from he crying "Sure but where did you lose her at ?" Grim asked getting onto his knees looking at her eye level smiling "Now lets go and-" he was cut off as the little girl jamed a needle into his neck a cold numbness flowing through his veins then everything went black.
(Six hours later)
Grim shook his head trying to clear his vision he heard crying looking around he was in a cell with grey stone he saw a sink and toilet inspecting the room further he saw no windows or vents the door was solid metal it matched the stone perfectly he nearly missed the door itself trying to sit up he felt a sharp pain clutching his head he muttered "Ahhh mother fucker."
"P-please d-don't hurt me l-like m-my last cellmate." Grim looked over to see a white unicorn with grey mane in the corner crying looking at her Grim stood up and walked over to her stiffly falling to the ground beside her he said "I won't hurt you my names Grim whats yours ?"
"S-star Gazer how did you end up here ?"
"I don't remember how long have you been here ?"
"3 years 7 months 2 weeks 5 days 6 hours 10 minutes 45 seconds 46 47 48......"
"Wow you have a good memory Star..... do you mind if i call you that ?"
"Not at all but is Grim your full name ?"
"No i gave up the last part when i left my home town."
"Oh where is that-"
"I don't want to talk about that place its full of painfull memories."
"Oh okay soooo do you want the bed or can-"
"You get the bed Star i'll sleep on the bed." Grim said as Star walked over to the bed she laied down to sleep Grim closed his eyes first day in seclusion and it sucked ass.

Grim was on the table again the 'Doctors' looking at him as he screamed in pain they had just injected him full of some unknown liquid it burned through his body like fire this was the nine times that he was in this room the first time they had grafted pegasus DNA to him trying to get him to grow wings but instead he now had there speed and durability. The doctor watched as the vitals spiked the stallion was tough but he'd break sooner or later maybe after the events being held for him after would do that "Okay where are we at with the Unicorn and Alicorn horn/magic injections ?"
"Sir his body has accepted 80% already the effect seem to concentrat on the whites of his eyes they have turned black."
"No other effects ?"
"No Sir."
"Interesting okay once this is done toss him into his cell ALONE i want him to feel this pain i don't want that bitch Star Gazer to heal him again." the mare nodded at this and race off to tell the guards what she was just told 'Tonight i'll break him and i've got just the plan to do so.' he thought smiling at the images of Grim broken and ready to be sold as a soldier,hit man or body guard to the highest bidder. Grim screamed that entire night as his mind was filled with the images and pain the unicorns and alicorns had felt through out their lives he felt it all the continued for a good 45 minutes before he passed out from the pain.
(Arena)
Waking up Grim saw that he was in a cell and outside was an arena Grim reached up and touched his face it was covered by a mask he couldn't tell how much but enough to obscure his features looking around he saw nopony around walking forward he exited the holding cell entering the arena it was a replica of the ones used in rome domed it had bleachers filled with guards, 'scientist', and 'doctors' watching him entering the arena the area Grim stood in was covered by magic looking at it he said to himself "Inceneration shield outlawed in 1799 when used to kill a crowd of fleeing civilians after an explosion at the opera." Grims eyes widened he didn't know that before he didn't even recall learning that in his history class "Now my boy you'll be fighting tonight for us and if you don't we WILL KILL your cell mate so make sure you FIGHT and WIN." the 'Doctor' said over the intercom in his helmet.
Looking forward Grim saw a stallion walk out of th opposing area he couldn't make out any distinct features from the other pony but from the way that he walked he was serious about this fight getting ready Grim got into a stance. The stallion leaped forward raising his fist back about to punch Grim dodging the attck Grim whirled around and kicked him into the wall instead of burning up into ash he bounced back hitting Grim wtih the force of a truck falling to the ground he coughed up som blood. Pushing himself up the stallion looked down at the other stallion pinning the stallions arms with his legs he began to beat the stallion in the face blow after blow denting the helmet and injuring the stallion he needed to win to protect his cell mate.
Grim pushed back with all his might sending the stallion into the air jumping up Grim waited for the right moment before doing a bicycle kick launching the stallion into the forcefield again but instead of getting hit this time Grim jumped out of the way watching the stallion pass back he grabbed his ankle pulling him back Grim then punched him in the face sending him into the ground making a small crater where the stallions head connected. He coughed up blood feeling some ribs break and stab into his muscles the stallion tried to sit up but couldn't all he knew was a force held him down then two fist kept slaming into his face over and over until his vision turned red and moved to the right. Grim kept pounding the stallion in the face again and again till a bolt of magic shot through his stomach and electricity ran up and along his arms, neck and chest burning him falling to the ground Grim scream out in pain the stallion staggered to his feet picking Grim up by his neck he began to choke him his vision began to fail but he couldn't lose he had promised her that he would get the both of them out alive roaring he caught fire black flames engulfed Grims body the stallion let go out of fear.
Looking at the stallion Grim raised his hand and charged up a shot he fired the bolt tore through the stallions heart killing him instantly yelling out in victory Grim heard a hiss then both his and the stallions helmets opened looking down Grim saw "Nononononononono STAR NOOOOOOOOOO !!!!" he dropped to his knees holding her head in his hands he began to cry tears dripping onto her face "Star no i'm sorry i'm sorry....i'm sorry......i'm sorry." Grim was weeping uncontrollably he didn't even hear the guards walk up behind him all he knew was a blunt object slamed into his skull then he became uncouncious.
(Two days later)
"Well well mister Grim the Doc is please with you so you excited todays the day you get out." the guard sneered at Grim he sat there staring at the wall he was place in a regular cell since he was broken "Well since your leaving i think i'm gonna tell yah something a few hours before your little fight me and my buddy over there," the guard motioned to his friend who had an evil sneer on his face "Well we got mighty bored so what we did was have a little fun with your girl and well she is A SCREAMER boy just you should know." Grim clenched his fists 'Star i'm sorry for what i did.' he thought 'But i will get revenge for the both of us starting now.'
Grims rage increase black flames covered his body standing up he rushed forward grabbing the two guards he pulled them through the cell door tearing off some body parts as he force the bodies through the tight spots. The guard on the right was still alive the one who had tole Grim the story looking down at him Grim heard him scream and cry for mercy that he was joking and that what he had said never happend it was just a joke but he didn't care lifting up his foot Grim brought it down crushing the guards throat causing him to choke and gag on his own blood he then walked away.
Walking through the corridors Grim killed anything that moved coming across a sell he released a snake named Scales that he and Star had befriended the first day she arrived moving through the complex Grim killed anything that wore a guards uniform, a lab coat or scrubs he either torn them to pieces, shred them, or urned them into a shampless mass of blood, bone and muscle. Grim was rounding the corner he had killed everything but was now releasing the prisoners as he and Scales began to leave he passed a cell door unopened activating his flames he rushed in. He heard crying looking down he saw a young pegasus filly crying and holding a smaller filly in her arms shielding her from him 'She must be scared.' he thought shutting off the flames he touched her shoulder she looked up at him "I'm not going to hurt you i'm here to help along with my friend Scales." Picking up the two fillies Grim covered their eyes so they couldn't see the carnage he had caused reaching the outside the four of them now on a hill he looked down and asked her "Do you have anywhere to go ?" the filly shook her head "Then you and your sister are coming with me." he said reaching down he hugged the two of them and teleported away with Scales and the fillies.
(Present)
".............and thats my story now you know why i'm a shark trapped in a cage with blood in the water." Grim said his look never changing but the way the mares looked at him he felt uneasy Applejack started to walk forward "So yah went through all that ?"
"True story died on the operating table fifth time in then came back so now you know why i'm so evil and wicked." Grim sneered standing up he coughed spitting up blood he looked around at the barriers sighing he sat back down "So what else do you want to know ?"
"Well will though tell us how this doctor made it out before the um......"
"Massacre.....thats what its was and apparently he was off visiting family."
"WHAT !?!" all the mares exclaimed Grim just shrugged before rubbing his arm the silver lines now in full view since his magic had been depleted awhile back he had been trying to break out of the barriers with no luck "Yeah even evil scientist have families big surprise ain't going to stop me from tearing out his fucking heart and making him choke on it ahhhhh what a vision that is."
"Grim why didn't you come and see us after this we could have figured out a way tah help yah." Applejack said getting closer to the barrier Grim glared at her she stopped he then growled "Oh yes me crawl back broken and beaten me the one and only suspect in my fathers murder what a wonderful thing it would have been for that to happen 'Grim your back but why ?' you all would say after yelling at me and beating me up some more 'Oh well for a year and a 3 months in some facitly being experimented on until i was tricked into killing my cellmate trying to save her from death oh then i broke and murdered all the personel in the facility and save only three people i wanted to save so please take me back as if i never left.' i'd say man i guess i should have come back huh ?"
"Grim maybe we could have fixed-" Twilight began before Grim snarled at her "No what would have happened is MY ASS would have been tossed into a lab somewhere by those two and i would have been forgotten until Celestia and Luna got what they wanted."
"NothatsnottrueGrimwewouldhaveprotectedyouimean yoursucha-" Pinkie tried until he began to laugh deep and full of evil then said in a tone that shut every one up "Oh really Pinkie if you were the elements then yeah but it was two years later that you became the elements then guess what i want to tell you all this i was asked to kill you six 2 years after you became them and i NEARLY TOOK IT YEAH YOU HEARD ME YOU BITCHES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the mares were caught off guard by that looking at Grim all the saw was a monster ready to kill anything in its way but Applejack asked on more question before he was carted off "Then whah didn't yah take the job ?"
"Truly sweet apple i couldn't stand the thought of you dead also didn't pay enough to cross those two." Grim said jabbing a thumb at Celestia and Luna before he was teleported off to his cell.

Shadow sat in the darkness of the dungeons taking the magic and mana of the surrounding area and hiding it away from the princesses he loved the darkness looking over he began to melt into the shadows he only had enough to conceal himself. Shadow had built up enough magic to send a message to Vertigo and Fritz letting them know he had been caught by the princesses yesterday 'Damn i let them down i said i would be back in a day or two but looks like i fucked up again like i alway-' his thoughts were stopped by the sound of Shining Armor walking down into the dungeons "Okay lets see what we have for your dinner tonight." he said walking up he looked into the cell and sighed "Well Grim tonight you get bread, rice and some beef enjoy." he slid the tray into the cell and then walked off Grim began to eat the food slowly.
Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetiebell were running through the gardens of Canterlot laughing and playing it would be another two days before they would have to leave for Ponyville so they were going to enjoy it. Running through the garden the three crusaders came across a grey pegasus filly she was holding her arm and crying her eletric blue and black mane covered her face the mane reach the small of her back she looked to be around 9 and 10 years of age her tail was wrapped around her she was wearing a purple t-shirt and grey sweat pants walking up Sweetiebell bent down "Hey there whats wrong ?" she asked in a very sweet tone looking up the filly stared at her with bright yellow eyes red and puffy from her crying
"I-i w-was t-t-trying t-t-to f-find my d-daddy c-cause he came up t-to C-canterlot f-for b-busniess and then a b-bird ran into m-me which i-s w-why m-my arm b-bleeding." she heaved out her arm was bleeding pretty badly but not to bad
"Well my name is Sweetiebell can i have your name ?"
"I-its S-s-secret." the filly huffed a little trying to catch her breathe
"Well Secret me and my friends are going to take you to a nurse to make sure that the cut doesn't get infected is it okay if i pick you up ?" Sweetiebell asked the filly nodded her head picking her up Sweetiebell walked over to Applebloom and Scootaloo and introduced them to Secret who was looking back at a tree in that tree was her sister who nodded at her before teleporting away.

Secret sat on an examination table as Nurse Red Cross wrapped the wound in a bandage it wasn't infected or anything the nurse said smiling she left the room. Secret huffed at this she didn't like being treated like a child closing her eyes she opened them and hopped off the table and left the room and began to wonder around the castle. Applejack and Twilight were walking through the castle talking about Grim and what they should do about him when they ran into a small filly with a bandage on her arms "Oh hi there little filly are you lost ?" Twilight asked while getting eye level with the filly she nodded but didn't say a word "Its okay i'll take you to-"
"SECRET !!! there you are when we went back you weren't there why did you leave ?" Sweetiebell said running up to the small filly along with Applebloom, Scootaloo and Shining Armor
"Oh you know this filly Sweetiebell ?" Twilight asked standing up and crossing her arms over her chest and raising a eyebrow at the young mare
"U-uh we just happend upon her when we were playing in the gardens she said that she was looking for her dad and that a bird had cut her arm."
"Oh so yah helped her to the nurses then left her alone ?" Applejack asked with an edge on her voice Secret looked at Applejack and then at the crusaders who had backed away a little along with Shining Armor she simply shook her head and said "They left me with nurse Red Cross but she left the room to go do something the main reason they left was to get a guard for me."
"Oh ah understand then but whah couldn't one of them leave while the other two stayed with you ?" Applejack asked still staring at the three young mares and stallion who had tried to shy away. Secret tugged on Applejacks sleeve she was wearing a long sleeved plaid shirt and blue jeans with cowboy boots her stomach growled loud enough for everyone to hear looking down Applejack said "Would you like some breakfast sweetie ?"
"Y-yes please." she replied as Applejack took her by the hand the six of them left to go and get breakfast with the princesses, Big Mac, and the other memebers of the mane six.
(Dungeon)
Fritz snapped the guards neck moving further into the dungeon looking for her father she had killed two guards walking by a cell she heard "Vertigo looks like you remember what i thaught you but why did you leave your sister at home?"
"She is being a distraction for me while i get you out." Vertigo said her father laughed looking what she asked "Whats so funny ?"
"Nothing just the mask and your suit." he replied sh had put on a dark grey jacket infused with a kevlar spell, and grey cargo pants, along with combat boots, and a blanke mask that was black with two white holes for the eyes she smiled and said "Well you said that we should if we get into your buisness we should hid our faces plus you taught us how to fight/defend us so i mays well choose the fighting half for now."
"Well they know me but......two of them saw Vertigo at the house."
"Doubt they'll remember her and don't worry even if they did remember her they wouldn't be able to catch her."
"True so you got the door." Grim asked as he moved out of the shadows looking at his daughter she opened the door and moved out of the way for Grim to passed he walked out and looked at her "Do you have a plan ?"
"Not really i got as far as Vertigo distraction and me breaking you out of the cell and now we are here."
"Okay well lets try and get out of here then and make it look like i escaped." he said tossing a magical orb the size of his fist and tossed it into his cell "Whats that dad ?" Fritz asked as they walked away smiling he simply said "Big bang." and then a thunderous explosion shook the entire castle breaking some windows and collapsing a tower with its shockwave.
(Dinner hall)
Vertigo heard the explosion and secretly smiled 'DADSOUTDADSOUTYEAHYEAHYEAH !!!!' she thought but kept still and took another bite out of her pancake 'Where is he ?' she thought. Celestia swung around and looked to see the tower fall dust and rubble spreading across the lawn "Captain Armor what was that ?"
"I don't know princess but the guards won't answer there radios down in...........he escaped GRIM escaped !!!!" he yelled shooting out of his chair the mares looked around Applejack on the other hand kept staring at Secret rubbing her hands together "TWILIGHT GRAB HER !!!" she suddenly yelled Twilight used her magic to pin the filly down and while Applejack grabbed herand pinned her down roughly Sweetiebell jumped up "Why are you do that to her !?!?"
"Sweetie this is Grims adopted daughter she has a name but it isn't Secret." Twilight said walking up to her she leaned down "Now where is he ?"
"My daddy is going to kick your butt and then we are going home."
"He has you brainwashed little filly can't you see that ?"
"No he saved me and my sister he protected us raised us and lets us leave if he was mean and evil he would of kept us locked up and done things like those mean ponies he is going after."
"My little pony please help us stop him." Celestia said to the young filly walking over ever slowly and keeping a calm voice the filly began to suck in air "What are you doing ?"
"DADDY HELP ME !!!!!!" she yelled shattering windows her voice carried all over Canterlot and could be heard subtly the ponies looked around and explosion shook the room sending dust everywhere. Standing at the center was Grim and a mysterous stallion wearing a black mask with no designs on it, he also wore a dark grey jacket and cargo pants Grim stared at the ponies then his eyes moved Twilight and Applejack his voice took on that of a machines "LET MY DAUGHTER GO !!!" he roared using his magic he picked Twilight up in his magic a black aura holding her there along with Applejack.
Shining Armor and Big Mac began to run at him until the masked stallion jumped in there way on her hands they notice she wore guantlets dark silver with red carvings showing a old language written all the way up to her wrist getting in a fighting stance he stared at them. Big Mac ran forward putting all his strength behind his first punch (a punch that splintered an elder oak one of the toughest and strongest trees in the world) and all the stallion did was raise his hand catching his fist not even budging Shining Armor turned to Grim his eyes turned different colors the golden irises were replace by blood red orbs and the black parts were now gold and he had no emotions showing on his face "PUT MY SISTER DOWN !!!" Shining roared turning Grim smiled and said "Very well." Twilight went up then was flung down crashing into the ground she landed with an audible crunch she screamed the bone in her left arm was broken and twisted it had ripped through the skin she was holding it and crying Shining looked back at Grim noticing that his eyes had changed the black turned gold while his irises turned black along with the scars on his arms they began to glow a sickly red.
"TWILIGHT NOOO YOU MONSTER !!!" Shining bellowed flashing forward Grim didn't break eye contact grabbing his hand he twisted his arm and swung around pitching Shining into the opposite wall. Celestia, Luna and Twilights friends ran over to Twilight trying to make sure she was okay, the CMC were behind on of the pillars trying to hid from the fighting, Vertigo was sitting amongst the beams trying not to get in her fathers or sisters way. Fritz pick up the red stallion and slamed him into the ground breaking his arm and a few ribs she didn't see any reason to hold back against him still holding onto his hand she began to crush it feeling the bones splinter under her strength pulling back she smashed his nose under her fist knocking him out. Grim looked at Shining walking over to him he let the go the black fire engulfe his hands and swirled around his body eating away at the marble floor and anything close destroying them reaching down he heard Vertigo yell "Dad someponies coming !!!" turning he saw a portal appear and out of it step the 'doctor'.
Everypony turned and looked standing there was a white coated stallion but not just any stallion and ALICORN stallion wearing a pair of glasses reflecting the light to hide his eyes he was wearing a lab coat and black work pants, he had on a blue collared shirt with a black tie smiling he pulled out a tape recorder and said "Subject 14-32 has become a NIGHTMARE as suggested by the late Gale Wing will capture and study further." Grim snarled and leapt into the air Doc. watched him come down Grim missed Doc. was standing a foot from Grim smiling "Good you've improved must say the nightmare form suits you 14-32." raising his hand Grim shot a bolt of black fire at him Doc. caught the bolt in his magic and put it out like it were nothing more than a burning match.
"Now i came here to say something to the princesses." Doc. said Grims stopped his attacks the two looked up and Doc. said "I am hear to declare war on you and say good bye." Grim rushed forward Doc. teleported away to an far away land unknown to them Grim roared his eyes darting around the room "Daddy is the bad stallion gone ?" turning he saw Vertigo and Fritz side by side Fritz holding her sister back looking to his right he saw a reflection of himself taking a deep breathe the fire went out but his eyes remained the same turning to her he said "Yes and i need to talk to the princesses about something very important."
"And why should we talk with you Grim ?" Celestia growled as she tried to pick up her student with out injuring her
"Because of this," Grim said snapping his fingers Twilights arm was fixed "and if you do i promise to join your goody two shoes side."
"Oh and what do you want in exchange."
"Three things one, a full pardon of all the stuff i've done, Two my daughters are NOT to be seen as monsters, and Three i want you to help me kill the doctor."
(13 months later)
Six months had passed the doctor unleashed his army and began to rage war on Equestria leading Celestias side was Grim and Fritz led the army leading all the assualts they never lost a battle but the same could not be said for the rest of Equestria The Doctors numbers had gone down in that time leading for Grim to make a tough call.
(Discussion about final assault)
Grim paced around the table staring at it looking up the princesses were there with him Grim had asked them to be here by themselves. Looking down the up Grim sighed he needed to end this "Celestia I'm going to attack the doctors station tonight and i need you two to distract my family and the main six."
"But why Grim ?" Celestia asked crossing her arms and frowning after learning and talking to Grim for the 13 months she had grown to respect him and his family
"Celestia I'm in a losing battle with the NIGHTMARE its winning i can feel i clawing at the back at the back of my mind." he said his gold and red eyes stared at the table his scars seemed to pulse red almost like his eyes the princesses looked at him then at the board "Princesses what I have planned will envolve me blowing six miles of this place to hell
"With what are thou going to use ?" Luna asked with concerned voice
"Me Luna i'm going to use my power and overload causing my entire body to explode." he said in a monotone voice he then began to explain his plan.
(outside of the tent)
Applejack stood there covering her mouth with her hand tears trickled down her cheeks running off she ran into her friends (To explain in those months Grim and Applejack had managed to rekindle there old love after a matter of days of Grim explaing everything that had happened to him.) Twilight was with Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Applejack looked at the three of them they asked her what was going "G-grim has a plan and he is going to go after the doctor by himself."
"But the princesses tried and failed how is he going to beat him ?" Twilight asked taking a shaky breathe she explained what he was going to do the three of them gasped "W-when i-is this going t-to happen ?" Fluttershy asked Applejack had began to sob Rainbow Dash holding her walking back to their tent the four of them told Pinkie and Rarity what was going on.
(Grims tent)
Grim looked down at the sleeping form of Vertigo she had grown so much leaning down he gave her a peck on her forehead and began to tell her about how he loved her very much and how she would grow up to help all of pony kind standing up he felt tears flow down his cheeks freely shaking he exited the tent.
Walking through the camp Grim saw the dead, the dying and the wounded walking up behind Fritz he saw her holding a ponies hand as she died Fritz cried "Its okay Lightning Cloud you'll be okay." she whispered looking up at Fritz she smiled coughing up some blood she said "F-fritz i-ts okay don't cry who is that ?" she looked up at me turning she saw him tears running down his face "So Fritz who is your friend ?" he asked her
"Dad this is my marefriend Lightning Cloud." she said calmly his mind went blank leaning down Grim summoned his magic placing it on the mares chest he began to heal her. The injury she had gotten during the fighting was on her chest it went diagonally to her right side Grim began to heal the wound the muscle began to sow themselves together. After a few minutes the wound was fully fixed Grim stood smiling to his daughter and her marefriend he said to them both "Get a good nights sleep you two and Fritz i'm glad you found somepony now why don't you go and introduce her to Vertigo ?" the both smiled and nodded standing up they walked off hand in hand.
Sighing Grim walked to the edge of camp getting ready he jumped into the air and teleported to an area outside of the doctors territory.
(hour later)
Grim ripped the guard in half tossing the pieces away The doctor looked at the dead guard sighing he said "So 14-32 you think you can take me on I'M A ALICORN NOW !!!" he roared spreading his wings. Grim cracked his neck the nightmare was released Grim grew a pair silver wings with red runes pulsing on them his eyes began to glow snarling he jumped at the doctor tackling him with the force of a stampede of dragons plowing him through the roof Grim began to fly up reaching the edge of the atmosphere then folding his wings he began his decent and he began to gain speed he then broke the sound barrier sending a ripple of gold through the sky.
Looking up the the ponies of the camp saw a golden ring span the sky the then heard an ear splitting roar tear the area apart, gail force winds ripped ponies off the ground and tore tents from there foundations standing up Celestia called for the main six, Fritz and Shining to gather around so her and her sister to teleport to the center of the ring.
Grim and Doctor were locked in battle Grims eyes became slitted and full of inpony hate appearing in his hands was a long sword and short sword lunging forward Grim cut off Doctors right wind severing anychance of him flying away "Now we fight till one of us is dead you little bitch." Grim said in a machine like voice Doctor summoned a great swor 6 ft long and 3 ft wide hefting the massive blade he snarled "Bring it on !!!"
The two entities ramed into eachother sending shockwave after shockwave into the air blood rained down from the battle coating the jumping back Grim was missing his left arm up to the shoulder, his right wing was torn, he had multiple cuts across his legs, arm, torso, and back blood driped onto the ground he dropped his sword. Doctor was missing his horn, other wing his right and left arms wer cut horribly, his chest were ripped apart blood fell onto the ground, his was on one knee due to the fact that he did not have his right leg.
Leaping forward Grim put him in a headlock and began to build up his magic destroying his body black flames licked over his body and thedoctors the fire destroied the area around them the magic began to build when Grim released this it would destroy everything at the episcenter. Applejack and the group landed a few feet away from Grim and Doctor looking at him beaten and close to dead Applejack cried out "Grim why are yah doing this ?"
"Sweet Apple i wish it didn't have to end this way but it has to happen i'm sorry but i can say this i love you and i always will and the next time you see Vertigo and Fritz tell them I love them and tell Vertigo she has you to look after her."
"B-but we were finally going to-"
"I'm sorry but i ran through every possible outcome this is the best one now go and see out daughter." Grim said as he force them to teleport back to camp.
Landing in camp the way they stood the ponies saw a massive column of light tear through the sky lighting it up like high noon in the middle of a desert. Trees were torn from there foundations and flung miles away, a 4 mile deep crater formed stretching all the way from the epicenter to the camp stopping four feet way Applejack cried and cried for her lost love.

The main Six, the princesses, Fritz her wife Lightning Cloud there five year old colt Grim, Vertigo and her husband Firestorm and there 1 year old filly Hope stood by the edge of the crater Grim had made years ago. Walking to the edge Hope and Grim looked over the edge Hope was a black pegasus with a pink mane and tail Grim was an silver eath pony with a black mane and tail Grim held Hope so she wouldn't fall in.
It was the tenth anniversary of his death Applejack, Fritz, and Vertigo were the ones crying the hardest Vertigo and Fritz held there mother she looked at them after Grims death Applejack immediatly adoted the both of them and they took her into there family right away walking up unsteadily Hope said her first sentence "Don't cry Grampa would be upset." gasping Vertigo pick up her daughter and hugged her tightly and said "Yes he would honey but how would you know ?"
Looking over to the crater she pointed to the edge and said "That stallion who looks like grampa told me." looking over the mares saw a smiling face Grims smiling face before he disapeared he said something that brought pride to there hearts "I'm proud of you both I hope i get to see you again."
Canterlot what fun we are going to have
(Day before attack)
Spike was furious he let that that beast take Twilight roaring he summoned a fireball the size of a beach volley ball blown up to the max size and sent it into the magical target Shining Armor had brought up for practice the young dragon was burning off steam. Big Mac was standing by a tree looking at the dragon sighing he said "When are we going after that stallions hes got mah sister."
"Big Mac the princesses are working hard to find your sister and mine." Shining said trying to calm him down he began to pace "They don't know where he went but its as if he just fell of the world."
"So how is that stopping them ?" Spike asked as he sat down with the sun beating on his back he sighed the warmth felt good Shining turned to him and said "Becaus he just fell off the world Spike each pony can be track with in the Equestian border or wherever the moon and sun touch so if we three ran the princesses could find us as if we just were standing infront of them."
"Oh so basically he doesn't exist."
"Exactly Spike now i've only seen this twice the first time was a pony who died in war but came back from the brink after that the princesses couldn't track him he remained loyal to them and still serves, the second was a scientist he 'died' in a lab explosion the body was never recovered."
"Wow so who was the first pony if you don't mind me asking Shining ?" Spike asked looking at the stallion staring off in the distance a slight breeze picked up then died "It was me Spike i was that stallion." then an explosion happend throwing the three back with the concussive force as they struggled to there feet they saw a black void forming the two mares shot out colliding into the ground. As soon as Applejack and Twilight hit the ground on the other side Fritz closed the portal sighing she muttered "Dad i hope you know what your doing you never leave Morg and Drull behind." looking at the two Tigers basking in the sun there son and daughter laying on there heads paws hanging off.
Applejack looked up to see her brother, Spike and Shining armor shooting up to her feet she yelled "The castle is going to be attacked by that stallion." the three looked at eachother Shining turned and sprinted off to the Princesses to warn them. Spike and Big Mac ran forward "Twilight did he hurt you are you okay ?" Spike said freaking out and looking the mare over sitting up she pushed him off and said "I'm fine Spike he didn't hurt us but something seemed familiar about him." Applejack was pushing her brother away when she said "Yeah his voice and eye sounded and looked familiar to me."
"AJ do you still have the pictures and videos of............um......him?" Twilight said trying not to keep eye contact with her
"Yeah but you don't think."
"AJ he knew your nick name, hes the same height, he carried himself the same, and his voice i'm not saying its him but to be safe."
"Fine but just keep them away from me, Big Mac is Applebloom here ?" Applejack said turning to her brother he nodded sighing Applejack pushed past him and went to find her sister in the castle along with Rarity her sister and Rainbow and her adopted sister Scootaloo. Spike ran after AJ he needed to help her which left Twilight and Big Mac looking at eachother "Big Mac how are you ?"
"I'm good Twilight so you sure he didn't hurt yah ?"
"Yes i am but he just seemed like Grim except darker like he was missing happiness, friendship and a soul."
"Grim disappeared a little over six years ago and now he shows up it makes no sense Twi."
"He didn't just show up somepony set him up Mac along with the princesses somepony wants this to happen."
"Well then if it is him ah have more than one reason to kill him."
"Mac no he's a killer i could tell from his stance, his tone, and the way he moved like he wanted to shark stuck in a cage with blood in the water." Twilight stepped forward placing her hand on his chest feeling his toned body blushing she turned ot rush way a firm hand grabbed her shoulder pulling her back "Twilight we need tah talk."
"About what exactly huh Mac ?!?"
"Us and how i messed up every-"
"Messed up no Mac YOU fucked up leaving me alone for a year and a half to look for Grim a pony that left with no trace who was the number one suspect in his fathers murdered."
"Twi-"
"NO listen you could have staied and we could have been happy but NO YOU LEFT !!!!" She screamed the last part face turning red eyes flashing a bright orange and pushing him away "Twi i'm sorry i know i fucked up but...........alright ah won't bring it up but marbe we could go and see a movie when this blows over."
"Maybe but i need time and with this-" they heard laughing coming from a tree turning they saw the masked stallion "Oh you two are cute so cute now who is this Grim fella i keep hearing ?"
"You G-" Twilight managed only that much when a black aura flashed around her mouth sealing it shut clawing at her mouth she muffle shreaked then went quiet turning to Big Mac he was growling at the stallion giving him a death glare "Now who is this Grim fellow i supposedly sound like and walk like ?"
"He was somepony we knew now what do you want ?" Big Mac answered stepping forward and jabbing a finger at him
"Nothing just wanted to stop by is all see you tomorrow then ta ta." he said jumping up he teleported away with a pop Twilight looked at the spot summoning some magic she shot the area where he was sending dirt, sticks, leaves, and stone in the surrounding area.
(The next day)
Grim stood on a tower that looked over the castle smiling a stood up he feet place on the ball of the churches bell tower holding out a two triggers with four green lights flashing on all of them "Well Canterlot what fun we are going to have." he pressed the triggers a series of explosions echeod through out the castle and the castle ground sending different elements flying around and landing inside the city. Teleporting street level Grim had his helmet on and the hood pulled up over it making his way to the castle it took him a half hour to reach the south gate ponies were running away from the castle guards and soldiers ran about helping citizens Grim had planted smaller bombs through out the city so the princesses would be forced to send some guards and soldiers.
Grim stood outside the back gates letting his spell fail his weapons materialized drawing both swords they were thin at the handle only 2 inches wide as they went up toward the tip the middle of the blades were 8 inches wide on the out side they were serrated on the inside they hooked at the tips the blades were blacker than night the edges of the blades were a bright silver. Fire Badge looked out the gate to see a pony with a sinister mask dressed all in black with silver edges running up he held up his pistol yelling "FREEZE !!!" the stallion just laughed his tail swishing back and forth turning his radeo on with his magic Fire Badge he said "We have an intruder at the south-" Red Badge stopped looking down he saw a blade sticking out of his chest hearing a voice behind him "Awwww i wanted me being her to be a surprise now you ruined it." Grim said pulling the sword up he split the guard in half from the middle of his chest up blood spraying the ground and everything within in a 2 foot space.
Shining was listening to the radeo when he heard the report grabbing a assualt rifle he turned to the elements and princesses "STAY HERE Spike your with me." the dragon nodded and together they ran off. Grim was running through the guards LITERALLY blood coated his blades turning the black blades crimson guards died in the dozens reaching the door of the castle "Aww no one gonna open the door for me ? HOW rude." Grim lifted his hand a ball of energy formed and blasted it off the hinges. Shining and Spike stood with a few dozen guards behind them the doors bounced by them looking through the dust stood a lone stallion with a hood pulled over a sinister helmet Shining yelled "Freeze don't move !!!" the stallion just raised his swords and got ready for a fight.
Grim was grinning behind his helmet seeing the guards standing infront of him, the captain of the guard and a really pissed off looking dragon "I SAID FREEZE !!!!" Shining Armor roared seeing Grim get ready for a fight leaping high in the air Grim landed in the middle of the guards. Shining and Spike watched as the stallion leaped over there heads and landed amongst there friends then they watched in horror as the guards were torn to shreds by this stallion blood puddled on the floor the stallion was standing over a guard beging for his life and crying saying he had a family. Grim looked down at this pathetic excuse of a stallion shaking his head Grim swung his sword cutting the stallions head off it rolled to Shining Armors feet he stared at the head of his dear friend Star Shield he had a wife and a young daughter who was in school at during this.
Shining felt his vision go black all he saw was a monster that needed to be slayed thats head needed to be ripped off and shown before his leaders Shining sprung at the stallion charging up a spell. Grim watched Shining jump at him putting away with his swords he swung his fist catching Shining in the jaw and sending him into the marble cracking the stone looking up at the dragon he said "Awwww you not going to join the fight you wingless bitch ?" Spike snarled at the stallion and charged the stallion.
(Throne room)
".......and that who i think the stallion is." Twilight said as she explained everything she had been doing all last night Princess Celestia and Luna and the other five of the elements nodded "Twilight your sure that-" Celestia was cut off by a stallion clad in black landing in the throne room blood flowing from his wounds he had a what the eight of them could guess was a jacket. Shining and Spike walked in the room bleeding from a number of wounds Shinings jaw, arm and hand were broken he also had a number cuts and fractures he was bleeding pretty badly, Spike had only fractures no breaks, internal bleeding, and some minor wounds on the surface dark green blood dripped from his wounds. Grim struggled to his feet by what he could guess he had a broken leg and arm multiple ribs that were fractured coughing up blood his helmet would have flooded but good thing he installed a system that dumped the blood onto the floor.
Celestia stood up and walked over to the stallion as he stuggled to his feet she could hear his bones crack as he stood he coughed more blood flowing from his helmets mouth piece "What have you come for young one ?" Celestia asked looking her eye to 'eye' she felt a fist connect with her jaw sending her flying back "Give me the eye."
"What are you talking about ?" Celestia blubbered as she touched her nose blood flowed from slowly
"YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT !!!" the stallion roared taking a step forward only to hiss in pain and fall to the ground breathing heavily
"Let us help-" Fluttershy said taking a small step toward the stallion despite the protest from her friends
"STAY AWAY FROM ME !!!!" he roared at the mare who cried and ran hiding behind Luna, Applejack and Rainbow Dash the stallion stood up again "Give me the eye Celestia." he snarled at the princess she was eyeing him now
"I do not know what your talking about."
"Oh Celestia you don't know well how about this then." Grim growled holding his hand out he charged up a tracking and teleportation spell it took exactly five second befor sitting in Grims hand was a golden sphere with a red ruby in the center painted around the ruby was a eye the center of the eye the ball was the size of a baseball "Hmmm the eye of Ra the only thing in the known FUCKING world that can track down who i'm looking for and now that i have it i will leave." Grims body was covered in black and purple aura healing all his wounds after they healed he turned to Celestia and said "Its time for you to die princess now goodbye."
Twilight couldn't bare it anymore she was watching this monster raise his hand to kill her mentor her second mother the pony who had taught her so much and protected her. Without even thinking Twilight charged up the stronges fire bolt she could lifting both hands she shot it toward the stallion as soon as it was 9 inches from her it went faster than sound beating the stallion to the punch.
Grim felt himself go weightless his head twisting to the side shattering the right side of the helmet his spell went wide punching a ursa major sized hole in the ceiling the room twisted into one massive blur until his head slamed hard into a marble pillar shattering what was left of his helmet glass cutting into his face. Celestia watched the stallion get flung across the room like a rag doll slaming painfully into the pillar at the entrance he was getting up slowly from what she could tell his helmet was torn apart his face was 100% in view of everypony in the place to see. Grim felt his blood drip down the side of his face he heard the faint *Drip* *Drip* as it hit the floor he looked around the eye of Ra still in his hand he began to scream then he was hit in the chest by Lunas, Candences, and Celestias magic pinning him to the pillar he coughed up blood felling some bones crack by the sudden pressure slamed onto his body.
Celestia, the mane six, Spike, Shining Armor, Luna, Candence and Big Mac stared at the pony pinned to the pillar blood pooling around his feet his head pinned back by a lavender aura Twilight spoke her voice echoeing in the silence "I present the thought to be missing or dead Grim Star he dissapeared six years ago but it looks like he is alive and well." Grims was drifting in and out of counciousness he saw an orange mare walk up to him and before he pass out into oblivion he heard her scream at him "Whah did you leave me?" then a red fist connect to his face cracking his skull and breaking the skin.
Applejack stared at the colt infront of her there was no more guessing who the stallion was her ex her love the colt that left her so long ago she didn't stop her brother when he punched him knocking him out. Celestia, Luna and Candence lifted there spells watching the body fall to the ground in his own poll of blood Shining limped over to Celestia "Your majesty what should we do with this one ?"
"We toss him into the cell and question him tomorrow i want everypony who is standing here today to be here tomorrow no exceptions." Celestia said everypony nodded not looking at the stallion who was being dragged off to the cells in the castle. Celestia was casing a number of spells on the hall getting it ready for tomorrows questioning as to prevent him from escaping "Celestia what kinda've questions are yah going to ask Grim tomorrow."
"What happend to him i think you six deserve to learn his story mostly you my young pony."
"Oh okay thank yah for telling me." Applejack said walking off some tears sliding down her face she went to her rooms crying at the news tomorrow. Grim sat in a cell beaten and weak the pony guards never bothered to send a nurse or doctor Grim was forced to use what magic he had until he got food and rest to heal the rest of his wound he still had a cut bleeding on the left side of his face but it wasn't so bad now he coughed his lungs still healing looking out the small barred window he saw the night sky stars sparkling like diamonds he closed his eyes 'How could this have happend.' he thought to himself.
Off in the distance sat a white pegasus pony twirling a long thin silver knife she had long flowing black hair and tail she was wearing black commando gear staring at the castle smiling before diseapering in a flash of light.
