Aponycalipse: Wings of Freedom

The scene shows large mass of Russian, American, and European fighters, and bombers taking off along with cargo planes holing infantry units and tanks.

“What’s happening?!” Snowy shouted.

“Dang!” John hits the ground with his hoof. “I was hoping that sabotage would delay them a bit!”

A group of transport helicopters fly over. They see a soldier peak from a megaphone.

“We are the Humanity Liberation Army!” The soldier yelled. “All soldiers and pilots are ordered to stand down! If you do not stand down, you will all be destroyed!!!!”

“Perfect!” Snowy said happily as she pulls out gets a small prototype of the rainbow nuke. “Now I can a field test that can save us all. This is the latest pony gizmo, it’s a small prototype.”

The civilians in the city both pony and humans were in a panic as they hear the air alarm rings. Civil defense officers are helping them all get to safety.

“Whoa! Wait a mini nuke?!” John said in shock.

“No, a mini-rainbow-nuke,” Snowy corrected, “The final one will be bigger. It’s a prototype. Just drop it in a crowd of soldiers.  I’ll see what else I can help too”

“Ok, but don't harm the friendly soldiers and pilots.” Isaac said as he looked at Justin and John. “Justin, John, you are with me! We have the sky to control!!!”

John groaned. “Ugh…Alright fine but I don’t like this!”

Every soldier and pilot began scrambling as they were rushing aircraft to take off. Isaac got into a Su-35 and starts up the engines as he heads to the runway. Justin got his suit on and follows. John rolled his hat backwards and gets his suit on as well and wearing an ear piece. Snowy gives him the mini rainbow nuke.

“Why are you giving me this?” John asks.

“You will be the best qualified to use it.” Snowy said.

“What makes you think I’m going to use it?” John asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Because it’s your only hope to avoid causalities.” Snowy said as she sounded serious. “You know humans will kill each other!”

“Fine, but I might not use it…” John said as he straps it on his side. In the command room their looking over a hologram map. There was over twenty squadrons of bombers, fighters, transports, etc. Lance comes into the room and looks at the hologram.

“Get Watchtower ready and scramble all fighters to protect the capital and camp!” Lance ordered. Fighters started to line up on the runway but were ordered to halt. Justin and John gallops to the runway.

“We have a transport coming in!” a soldier called out from the radio. They see a transport trailing smoke. Then the transport goes on fire and heads strait into the runway. “All pilots, the transport is on fire! Move out of the way!!!”

“Get out of the way!” Isaac yelled as moves his fighter at the last second as the transport crashes into the ground. “John, Justin, let us Show Viktor's men that they should never mess with us!!!”

“Damn I hope they are alright,” John said as the three went onto the runway. The fire emergency crew came as well to put out the fires and rescue the crew. Isaac turns on his afterburners and takes off as well did several fighters. John then runs and flaps his wings as Justin runs beside John and flaps his wings. Soon they took off in a blur and John files ahead of Isaac.

Watchtower flew by them as he spoke on the radio. “All fighters! We need pilots to defend the city. I am counting at least thirty plus bombers heading to the city and camp. Take them out at all costs!!!”

“Thirty bombers? Where in the world did he get that many?” John said as he was surprised.

“He must have known that we would sneak into the base and had spares, but no matter.” Isaac readies himself. “You heard Watchtower comrades! Let’s go!!!!”

John sees the bombers in the distance some are smaller plane while the other are larger models. He then folded his wing and barrels as he descended towards the bomber and the escort. All the fighters break formation and went after the bombers. Isaac went to the city while Justin followed. Soon John approached the first group of fights unnoticed due to his small size. Somehow Snowy managed to find your radiofrequency.

“We are closing in.” A bomber pilot said as the bomb bay doors opened. John open his wings and several rounds of his feathers became sharp and he takes aim and drops the hammer on down then as the feathers sliced through the wings and the engine like hot knife through butter cutting their wings and engines off. Several bombers go down but then three mig-29s chase after him.

“Hang on John I'm coming!” Isaac calls out as he fires several missiles and took out the migs. “Are you alright?

“I’m great but more bombers are still coming.” John said. A F-18 super hornet flies by and shoots several missiles, taking out five bombers. Soon most of their back up arrive and takes out most of the fighters and bombers turning the sky into a massive beehive. Suddenly they heard someone’s voice coming from the radio. It was Snowy and she was trying to figure out how to use it.

“Hello... someone... there... yes... okay... hey...” She said as she lost connection but somehow reconnects. “Remember you have one Mini Rainbow Nuke…”

“I don't think it’s surprising that we're winning.” John said as they saw most of the enemy aircraft get shot down or eject. So far they repelled the first wave, but then came the cargo planes.

“Heads up! Those planes have infantry and tanks!” Watchtower called out from the radio.

“Then we got to take the cargo plane down before they could drop and tanks or APCs.” John said but it was too late as vehicles started parachuting down from the cargo planes.” Great they already began to parachute troops down.”

The ground forces already began to converge toward the enemy with the commander on the bull horn. There’s a stale mate going on as one and the other were hesitant to attack knowing that there will be lives lost.

“John... things are going to get ugly down here.” Snowy said over the radio.

“No not yet we can still resolve this without using it!” John yelled.

“John...” She said softly.  “I’m gathering everypony willing to fight... I hope you do the right thing.”

John’s wings glow as he sliced off the fighters wings or force them to eject. But there was no sign of Viktor. Soldiers started to head towards the camp. Everyone run passes Lyra some carrying mounted machine guns. Snowy was taking a group of fifteen brave ponies, unicorns and earth ponies.

“Snowy what are you doing?” Lyra asks.

“Lyra take this.” Snowy gives her a bottle of rainbow juice. “Humans being mean... ponies won’t get killed, and I can even evacuate most of them... if you drink this you will transform. I’m heading out there to stop them. We need the time for ponies to evacuate.”

“But… what about the other humans that don't want to fight?” Lyra asked, frowning.

“They can’t come,” Snowy explained. “Ponies won’t accept your kind deep in our territory.”

“But we aren’t like the HLA.” Lyra pleaded. “Please Snowy…”

“I can get ponies only there otherwise, you’ll become ponies when you reach there...” Snowy explained. “Get to drink everyone you want unharmed...”

Snowy starts to gallop to the front with the other ponies. Meanwhile, John took out another plane but was getting exhausted. John pants as he tired.

“There’s too many…” John said, panting. “Where’s Viktor...”

“I don’t think we can take them all on…” Justin said as he could hardly fly.

“We got to tell him to stop the attack...” John said.

“Are you nuts? That guy is a complete psycho!” Justin yelled. ”He never listens to reason!”

“I'll just have to make him understand... one way or another...” John looks and sees the camp is on fire from the distance. “Oh no they have breached the camp!”

“We have to do it... or they will overrun the camp before the ponies evacuate.” Snowy said.

“But what about us?!” Isaac yelled over the radio.

“Well go refugee humans into pony territory like as Viktor to give shelter to ponies.” Snowy explained as she was facing the front. “But you can convert and run...”

“We can think of something easier Snowy, Something peaceful!” Isaac yelled.

“John has a mini rainbow nuke but I’m not sure if he is willing to use it.” Snowy said, sounding serious. “Humans will only get killed each other.”

“Not all humans will kill each other!”

“Will there will kill you…” Snowy said, her tone sounding low. “Now I’m going there with this squad and hold the line...”

“We need to evacuate from the city…” Isaac said muttering in Russian. “Everyone began falling back as the city slowly fell to Viktor's army.

“But where?” Snowy asked.

“Anywhere but here!!!” Over by the radio of the remaining pilots command is giving the order to retreat and give up the city.

“All remaining soldiers and pilots get as many ponies and people out of here.” Lance ordered over the radio. “We lost this city...”

“Damn... you heard him we need to evacuate disengage and fall back!” John yelled as the remaining fighters fly back to camp to escort the wounded and the civilians. He thinks, “Should I use the rainbow nuke? It will be a quick and easy victory, but what does it do... Then again if it did what I think I did everyone will be ponies by force...but if I don’t do it we'll lose the city and people and ponies will be hurt...”

Friendly C-130s took off with people and ponies inside as they escape the city. John landed in the camp and search for Lyra throughout the camp.

“Lyra!” He called out to her. Lyra sees him and runs up to John.

“John?” She said, looking at him with worry.

“Good you are alright. Now come on let’s get out of here.” John turns around only to be face by a punch to a face. He flew back in a skid. John got up and sees Viktor approach him.

“This ends now…” Viktor said as he drew out his sword.

“Viktor this has got to stop! People are dying here!” John yelled as he got up. “Call off the attack.”

“No!” Viktor said furiously. “As long as these ponies are here this war will continue and I am going to get rid of the pony that stopped my plans in the first place!!”

Viktor charges toward John but before he could get close he was tackled by Isaac. He gets Viktor into a headlock.

“John get Lyra and Snowy out of here!!! GAH!!!!” Isaac gets punched in the gut as Viktor starts beating him up. John charges and tackled Viktor. Their fighting causes them to crash into John’s tent. Viktor grabs John by the neck as he throws him into the ground and stomps his side.

John then used his hind leg and kicks him into his drawer, knocking the contents out including a rainbow juice that rolled to Lyra’s feet.

“The juice…” She picks it up as John got up and slashed at Viktor with his wings.

“Viktor you got to stop!” John yelled. “Look around you is this what you want?!”

“If it means winning this war then yes!!!” Viktor yelled back as they didn’t realized Lyra drinks the juice. She fell to her knees as the juice started to take effect. The world started spinning around, her hair got longer and changed to light purple. Fur spread across her body as her hands and feet are deformed into hooves. Her size decreased as her face pushes out into a muzzle and a horn grows out from her forehead. A light purple tail grows out from her rear.

Finally the juice reached the brain as the use of certain spells were placed there, not all her memory changed, just some remembers like having a pony family, but lived the same life though. John then flew and tackled him toward the wall and head butts him several times. Viktor grabs John's head and throws him across the grass. John grunted and rolled on the grass as he landed on his back.

“You haven’t seen the last of me! I’ll be back!!!” Viktor yelled as he jumps through the flames and disappears. Snowy was losing ground in the front, her ponies were surrounded. John gets back up, feeling battered and defeated.

“Damn it…” He said in frustration.

“Well get back at him John…One day me friend.” Isaac said. Snowy’s ponies fled, while snowy charged in front lines so the enemy will focus on her allowing everypony to get away. Soon her squad was returning to evacuate, as was planned in the worst case. Isaac had taken off to head to transports while Lyra got into a transport and escaped. A Blackhawk helicopter lands next to Snowy as a group of friendly soldiers cover her.

Snowy barely consents after making a shield last hundreds of shots, had her magic on limit. John climbed onto the helicopter.

“Come on Snowy! Let’s go!” John called out to her. He throws his feather at the soldiers and hit them in the arms. A soldier pats Snowy on the shoulder to get her attention.

“Come on!” the soldier yelled.

“I’m staying…” She responded. “No matter... we had a chance... but he wasted it. You are not dragon even if you look the same…” Snowy pointed to John as it got the soldier’s attention.

“Whatever you have John use it now!” The soldier yelled to John.

“He won’t, he prefers to lose...” Snowy said breath heavily.

“Okay I’m activating it...” John said as he cringes at the idea. He took the rainbow nuke form his back and sets the bomb to active in one minute. “Please forgive me…”

“You’re doing it right!” Snowy said as she jumps into the chopper. John drops the bomb in the middle of the camp and climbed in. The soldiers get in as the chopper gets to a safe distance. When the rainbow nuke went on the colorful explosion send waves of colors covering at least everything five hundred meters around. It even left a colorful mushroom cloud.

“Perfect,” Snowy said as she watched. “Now to just make a bigger one that can cover an entire city.”

“What have I done…” John lowered his head. He remained silent for the rest of the trip.
