Away from the city, Dragon was still passed out. He could hear voices from where he was. One of the voices was Isaac.

“Is the Pegasus going to be ok?” Isaac asked.

“Yes but I am surprised that the little guy survived the blast.” The doctor replied.

“General Viktor really snapped... he almost blew up the city because of this.” Isaac shook his head as Dragon stirs in his sleep.

“Well the soldiers will take care of him. If both sides saw what happened this could be the chance that we might be able to make peace.” The doctor replied as he looks at Dragon. “Oh he is waking up.”

“Ugh…what happened?” Dragon groaned.

“Oh you're awake my friend.” Isaac walks up to his bed. “you survived getting hit from the blast from the cruise missile. No one has ever survived getting hit from the full force of the blast. But I'd say that this is the first for a pegasus.”

“Isaac... Isaac that you man...” Dragon asked.

“Yeah that’s my name. Wait how do you know my name?” Isaac tilts his head.

“Dude man it’s me John.”

Isaac’s helmet fell off as his jaw dropped. “John?! “

“Yeah man why you looking me like that...” John asked.

“Have you looked at a mirror lately?” Isaac asked. The doctor grabs a mirror and shows John’s reflection.

John’s jaw hung open. “What?!”

They are thrown off their feet and Isaac gets up.

“So you don't remember being a pegasus?” Isaac asked.

“Only bits and pieces...” John replied when he remembered about Isaac’s brother. “Oh no…”

“What is it?” Isaac asked.

“Oh man…I think I remember your brother…” John said.

“You have? What happened to him?” Isaac asked.

“I’m afraid he… well…” John looked nervous.

“Yeah?”

“He joined the herd,” John answered, rubbing a hoof on his head. “And I think I’m somehow involved with it...” John bows his head. “I’m sorry, it’s my fault.”

“Ah...you might have no control of yourself.” Isaac said.

“Yes... but it’s still my fault,” John looks at him with worry.

“I would be mad but...This is not your fault.” Isaac sighed as he walks up to John and looks at him. “Look my friend, from where we are now fighting is not the answer. We must make peace with the ponies.”

John nods and hisses a bit noticing his body a wreck. “Oh man... what happened to me a nuked dropped on me or something?”

“You were hit by the blast of a cruise missile. It was about to hit the city but we stopped it.” Isaac explained.

John’s ear perked up and grins. “Really? Wow.”

“But...General Viktor was the one that launched it. He was going to destroy the city.” Isaac said.

“Viktor? Damn… I know he was opposed but to go that far...” John shook his head.

“That man snapped after Moscow fell remember?” Isaac said. “Ever since that everyone has noticed he was up to something. But for now he is being watched.”

“I noticed… You do realize not everyone will be on board with the peace talk... granted...I’m probably one of them ever since my family...” John lowered his head.

“Listen my friend, from what happened here the other generals will start thinking of peace. And....what happened to your family?” Isaac asked.

“They became ponies but have no memories of me at all,” John said.

“I’m sorry comrade…” Isaac said.

“Guys!” Justin shouts as he rushes in.

“Wait that voice.... Justin?” John looks at Justin.

“I see Dragon is ok,” Justin said.

“Dragon?” John tilted his head in confusion.

“Uh...Justin this is John.” Isaac said, pointing it out for Justin.

“Wait...so he has his memories back?!” Justin smiled as his wings stood up.

John chuckled. “Wing boner!”

“Not funny…” Justin blushed as Isaac join in laughing. John groans and lays back down as his wings were wrapped in bandages.

“Get some rest comrade,” Isaac said as John nods. “Tomorrow we'll show you to the people here ok?”

“Okay…” John said as he rests his head. Isaac gets up and leaves while Justin follows.

The next day, John got out of the tent and sees that he was in a large camp. A section of it was being used as a runway for the transports and fighters. Another was for the people to rest. Last was where the pilots were as they checked on their aircraft. Justin lands in front of him.

“Good morning,” Justin said kindly. “I see you're feeling better.”

“Yea much better though the burns still itches,” John said.

“Oh Isaac wants to show you something.” Justin lifted up his hoof as he remembered it. “Just give it some time to recover. Come with me.”

John follows Justin slowly his wings still bandaged. They reached to a large tent. Inside were Isaac and a male and female pilot from Japan that were working on their fighters. Isaac sees them and waves.

“Hello you two.” Isaac said.

John bows a bit. “Good to see you Isaac.”

“I see your recovery is going well.” Isaac has his arms crossed. “Oh and allow me to introduce you to my wingmen. This is Alex and his sister Lyra.”

“It’s an honor to meet you,” they said as they bowed.

John bows as well. “The honor is all mine.”

“Isaac has told us of what you did back at the city.” Alex said. “You're very brave.”

“It’s was nothing.” John said as he blushed a bit.

“Aw. You are a very cute pegasus.” Lyra said as John blushed a bit and his wings pops up a bit, too much of Johns pain.

“Comrades focus,” Isaac said. “We have a job. And that is to make peace with the ponies.”

“R-right heh,” John chuckled a bit.

“That is true but there is one problem. What about Viktor?” Alex asked.

“He is being watched.” Isaac said.

“Be careful Isaac. Remember you shouldn't underestimate your opponent.” Alex said.

Justin walks up to John and whispers, “do you think it is safe that the soldiers are watching Viktor?”

“I’m pretty sure. Besides how much trouble can one wounded general can be?” John said as he shrugged.

-o-

In the capital, two soldiers watched on Viktor.

“Viktor has become quiet today has he?” the first soldier asked.

“Yea he stopped screaming hours ago.” The other said as the other soldier knocks on the door.

“Hey Viktor you better be alive in there... Viktor?” The soldiers put hands on their holsters. They open the door and the room was empty.

“He’s gone?!” the soldier said in shock.

“Check everywhere, he might be hiding.” The other said as they go inside when suddenly the lights go out. Then they hear a creepy chuckle. He looked around with his flashlight his gun drawn. He radios to the others, “Prisoner is attempting to escape!”

Viktor appeared in front of him. His face looked insane as he grabs the soldier by the neck.

“GAH!” The soldier tires to beat him with his flashlight. Viktor throws the soldier away as he starts to walk out of the building. Three soldiers get in front of him, their weapons ready.

“Stop general,” the soldier ordered.

Viktor huffed, “Out of my way…or I’ll make you…”

“I’m warning you another step and we'll shot!” The soldier yelled. Then Viktor grabbed a pipe and rips it out of the wall without even trying. He stares at the others with an evil grin. Then Viktor charges toward them at full speed.

“Fire! Go for the legs!” One of the soldiers yelled as they fired. Viktor gets close as he attacks the soldiers. Outside the soldiers and ponies could hear the fighting.

“What’s going on?” A pony asked, dropping its ice cream. Guns shots were heard and even a chair was thrown out of a window. The ponies were scared as the hide behind the approaching human soldiers.

A soldier pulls out a radio, “What is going on in there?!”

In the radio, the back ground of people screaming. “It’s the general he's going crazy in here and we can’t stop him!”

“What?!” Then the front door explodes as Viktor comes out. The solders aimed their assault rifles at him.

“Would you dare try to shoot you own general?” Viktor asked as he stared at the soldiers.

“You’re not our general anymore.” the soldier said. “Order came in your stripped of your rank.”

“Humph...Well then I will have to show you...” Viktor said.

“Drop your weapon!” The commander yelled.

“You will now see why I am called The soldier with no fear...." Viktor said as he taps the pipe on the ground as he charges toward the soldiers.

“Take him out!” Six soldiers fire a volley of shots at him. Viktor jumps on a car and jumps in the air. He gets close to the first soldier and swings, taking out the soldier. He then takes out four with his fists and throws one in the air. All was left was the commander. The commander was a bit shocked but regardless pulls out a combat knife and his pistol.

“Look what their kind has brought us.” Viktor said as he pointed to the ponies. “They must be removed from this world...”

“Them, they are us!” The commander yelled.

“You will soon know your place along with these ponies and-“

“THAT IS ENOUGH!!!!” A U.S. General comes from behind. Viktor turns around and gasped as he knew who it was.

“G-general Lance?!” Viktor said in shock.

The commander salutes, “Sir the General has destroyed the HQ and injured and possibly killed multiple men.”

“I see,” General Lance looks at Viktor. “What has become of you…”

“Grrr....I don't have time for you,” Viktor pulls out a smoke grenade as it goes off. As the smoke clears Viktor was gone.

“Knowing him he will be back,” Lance looks back at the ponies. “Are you alright?”

The ponies came out of hiding. “Y-yes?”

Lance walks up to them and kneels down and extends his hand. “I'm sorry to how Viktor has acted. But you are safe now. Don’t worry you can trust me.”

They sniffled and happily reach a hoof out.

“Uh sir you sure you should?” the commander asked.

“Don't worry I know what I'm doing,” Lance said as he holds the pony’s hoof. He smiles at the pony. “I think it's time that we made peace. What do you think?”

“Yeah peace,” the pony said happily. “No more fighting.”

Lance chuckles, “now come on. Let’s go help our friends.”

The ponies nod in agreement as they go to help the others.
