The New Foal
A Peaceful Night
Previous ChapterNext ChapterTwo weeks had passed since the first results, Razor was ready to be released from the hospital.
“Thank you so much for taking care of him!” Ms. Cheerilee said gracefully.
“No problem at all.” Nurse Redheart replied. “You may go now.”
“Again, thank you!” Ms. Cheerilee said, walking Razor out the front door.
Sweetie Belle and Rarity were waiting just outside.
“Hello.” Rarity said.
“Hi Razor, hi Ms. Cheerilee!” Sweetie Belle followed.
Razor smiled and him and Sweetie Belle hugged each other.
“Hello!” Ms. Cheerilee said as the two young ones pulled apart.
“How are you two?” Rarity asked.
“We’re perfectly fine.” Ms. Cheerilee said.
Her son nodded. “You have no idea how happy I am to see you all again!”
“Nice to see you too!” Sweetie Belle said.
“We could walk you home.” Rarity said.
“I don’t see why not!” Ms. Cheerilee said.
Razor smiled and nodded in agreement.
Sweetie Belle smiled back.
The four ponies started walking with each other.
“So Razor,” Rarity started. “what do you find interesting or enjoyable?”
“Ooh! First, there’s Hot Wheels, AcceleRacers to be precise. Then there’s Initial D, a Japanese drift racing show. And Legos!”
“Do you have anything you like to wear?” She asked.
“Well, the sweater Sweetie Belle made me is amazing!” He answered.
Sweetie Belle blushed lightly.
“And what might you do in your free time?” Rarity asked another question.
“I listen to my CDs and build concepts with my Legos!” He replied. “Right now I’m working on the Ponyville School House!”
Ten minutes passed, they had reached Ms. Cheerilee’s house.
“Bye Razor, by Ms. Cheerilee!” Rarity said.
“Take it easy, Razor.” Sweetie Belle said, waving.
“Bye.” Ms. Cheerilee said.
Her son waved.
When they got in the house, Ms. Cheerilee got her son a glass of water. “Drink this, it should help your throat feel better.”
Razor slowly took it down, then went to work on his Bassline. He was most of the way done, he just needed to do the hood decals.
“Razor?” Ms. Cheerilee called upstairs.
“Yes, mom?” He called back.
“It’s time for your sleeping medicine.”
“Okay, I’ll be down in a minute.” He went to the bathroom and washed regularly.
“Razor?” She called again.
“Coming!” He said as he got to the staircase.
“There you are!” She smiled. “Now, just calm down.” She picked up a prescription sedative syringe.
The colt took a deep breath and closed his eyes. “I’m ready.” He said.
“Okay.” She carefully put the needle in his forearm and injected the dose. “Alright, you go to bed now.”
“Okay, mom.” He said as he got to the stairs. “Good night.”
“Good night, Razor!” His mother replied.
He went upstairs and into his room. He then turned on his Plasma Dolphin and set his sound maker to beach, then he got under the covers and went to sleep.
