Transformation

Year: Unknown | Location: Unknown | Time: I think you get it, I don't know anything

I felt pain surging through my body.  My body itself looked deformed and changing in color.  I was screaming in pain.  I went unconscious.

Later I felt a nudge on my shoulder.  I saw, a pony.  Pink mane, yellow fur, and the most beautiful eyes.

"Oh hi there!"  I said, thinking it would give me a look.

"Hello..."  It mumbled.

"GAAAHHH FREAKIN' NOODLES WHAT THE BLOODY HECK AH CRAP WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?" I screamed.  The yellow pony jumped back in fright and started trembling.  As did I.  Then I looked at my friend, then at myself.  "Oh....Crap..." I muttered.  "I'm sorry, I've never seen a talking animal before."  I was dumbfounded.  She was still a little scared.  "Um, whats your name?"  I asked, hoping to cheer her up.

"I'm...Fluttermmhh..."  She mumbled.

"What now?" I asked.

"I'm...Fluttershy..." She said again cringing.

"Oh my name is---wait, what is my name?"  I said, I found out I couldn't remember anything about myself.

"Um, I don't know mine either, something is wrong."  My friend said still aching in pain.

"Ok could we stay at your house tonight...Um, we just got to this dimension."  I said.

"Sure,you sound like Dr. Whooves." She responded

"Dr. Who?" I said getting a bit excited.

"Dr. Whooves." She said again.

"But is it Dr. Who?"

"Dr. Whooves." She replied again.

"Oh this isn't getting anywhere!" I said. Then I got it. "WAIT WHO, WHOOVES, Oh my freaking son of a biscuit...." I gave her a big hug, thanking her like crazy for telling me who he was.  You see, Dr. Who was a friend of mine.  My only true friend, he studied time travel, then got into dimensional travel.  He left in his TARDIS to another dimension, now I know where.  "Thank you so much, he was a companion of mine!  He was my best friend!"

"You had a friend?"  The other guy said.

"Just because I hated my human life doesn't mean I don't have a few friends."  I said.

"Oh well, I'll lead you to my cottage, but don't go anywhere near the Everfree Forest, it's not safe..." She said.  Her voice trailed off into a whimper.  I walked on.

Later, we got to her cottage.  She still seemed a bit shy and scared of us.

"Your eyes are pretty." I said, hoping to cheer her up.

"Thank you..." She said, blushing.  I smiled and my friend gave me the strangest look.

When we arrived I saw animals.  "Um, I think you have an infestation of...Everything..." I said.

"No these are my friends, I'm an animal caretaker." She said.

"Oh ok." I replied.

"It's almost night time, we better go to sleep." Fluttershy said. "You two can have my bed, I'll sleep in the floor."

"Thank you, but I would never let someone like you have to sleep in the floor because of people like us." I said.  "The worst I can do is even to ask to stay at your house, and keep you busy with less important things."

"Oh no, I insist!" She said back.

"She insists, don't turn down a good offer." My friend said.

"I can't, you may have the bed, but I'm staying on the floor." I said.

"Alrighty then." He replied and plopped in the bed carelessly.

"Jackass..."I said under my breath.  We got our beds situated and I went to sleep.

That night, I woke up Fluttershy sound asleep.  I felt thirsty so I got a drink of water.  I heard something outside.  It sounded like a whisper.  I dare not go, being scared of the dark.  I went back to bed.  And went to sleep, then I woke up again.  I felt thirsty again.  I walked over and heard the same thing, but closer.  Then I heard wheezing.

"Is that you my love?"  It said.

"Fluttershy?" I whimpered.

"You came for me..." It said again.  I heard chains and saw it.  Something that had scared me more than anything.  I saw her eyes, scorched out, a wheel on her throat, chains on her hooves, and blood everywhere.  "How did this happen?" She said.

"Thats what I'm trying to figure out!!" I said.  She looked at me and started coming closer.  I was scared.  She walked closer and I went backwards until I hit something on the other side of the room which got in my way.  As she came closer I noticed it was a dream.  I switched the images around.  How did I do it? Well During Random Eye Movement Sleep, which is about 20-25% of an average adults sleep and 60-120 minutes,  Dimethyltryptamine is produced, taken as a drug it causes severe hallucinations.  But in sleep it becomes a dream, that doesn't mean take some before you sleep its illegal.  It teams up with the mind and makes hallucinations of recent memories.  You may think that's not true do to seemingly random images and sometimes the feeling of not being able breathe.  There is an explanation for both.  But I'll tell you that later.

After I shifted the images it was a grassland and a few hills.  I saw an alicorn standing from a distance.

"Hello?" I said.

"You have conquered your nightmare on your own,  I am proud." It said.

"Who are you and why are you in my dream?" I asked.

"I am princess Luna.  Princess of the night." She responded.

"Oh I see.  But why are you in my dream?" I asked again a bit impatiently.

"It's magic, that only I posses." She replied. "As Princess of the night it is my job to help fillies conquer their fears when they have a nightmare, but your nighmare was strange..."

"Because I'm human..?" I said.  Her eyes widened, and I woke up.  I was breathing heavily and my sheets were all messed up.

"Are you okay?" Fluttershy asked in a concerned tone.

I got up and said, "Oh yes, just a nightmare."

"Must have been a bad one."  She said.

"Well I can't say." I said.  "But do you know where Whooves is?  I need to talk to him."

"I have no idea." She said. "lets eat maybe Twilight knows."
