Transformation

There's nothing to see up here read the story

We went in the everfree forest. Me and Fluttershy entered at least. The others seemed to have gotten lost.  We went deep into the forest.  It seemed very, very dark, only enough light to see about 3 yards in front of me.

"So, have you ever been here?"  I asked.

"Many times..." She said.

"Seen any...Monsters?" I asked again,

"The only thing I haven't seen out here, is the Slender Mane." She replied.

"Oh..." I said.  Slendermane was not the one to play around with.  We heard a rustle in the leaves.  She jumped by my side, and got really close.  I'm thinking 'wow this is the most a girl as ever stayed with me in my entire life'

"What is out here anyway?" I asked.

"Oh, just Manticores, alligators, parasprites, superlarge spiders, 4 headed long necked yellow things, timber wolves, an---" She said.

"Ok ok it's a scary forest..." I said starting to shiver.  She got closer to me. "Hello?" I shouted.  I saw a figure.  My ears started to ring.  "Um, Fluttershy..." I said in a very shaky voice.  "You know when you said you never saw the Slender Mane?"

"Yes, why?" She asked.

"Don't look now you jinxed it."  I said.  I held my hoof out to point at the paranormal creature.  She looked away and wrapped her arms around me.  I got angry.  How dare he inflict fright in a harmless and innocent soul?!

"Stay here I'll take care of this." I said.  I walked up to the creature.  Every once in a while, my ears were ringing like crazy and I could feel the effects of the Gamma radiation red eyes surrounded us they were Rakes.  I was face to (no)face with the Slender Mane.  I reached out and touched him. A jolt of disturbing images entered my head.  But I overcame them.  I stood up and stared him in the eye, or well where it would be if he had any.

"You don't scare me.  I know you are a paranormal creature, but I'm a dimensional traveler buddy! THEY CALL ME TRAVELER-59! Actually not really just go with it, anyway so yeah I can see we are surrounded by Rakes and I'm sure they are happy with you mutating them.  I'd like to see Dora the explorer get out of this one.  So what do you have against me?" Slendermane stared at me.  Then the Rakes closed in on us. "Like I said, they aren't happy and look at those bloody claws.  They will tear us up in an instant, oh but you can teleport? Well that would make you the coward. Don't like being looked at? Too bad your going to have to live with it! Now, lets make trash of these Rakes.  The Rakes charged at me and Slendermane. I grabbed a claw, tore it off, and hurled it at three Rakes out of ten thats four down.  Slendermane stood there while five more charged at him.  They almost hit him when there chest literally exploded.  Blood and intestines everywhere.  "Ok nice job but that's nasty." I said. There was one more I saw Fluttershy being dragged away with a big bloody blade over her neck.  She was crying and that infuriated me.  I ran to it and put both hands in its eyes and flipped it backwards while blinding it after moving the claw with my foot, or back hoof. After that I pinned down its other claw and basically beat the crap out of it.  I looked back after making sure it was dead and Slendermane was gone.

Fluttershy wrapped her arms around me.  She was crying like crazy.  I gave her a hug back.  "Don't worry they are gone." I said, to ensure safety.

"I'm so happy I could kiss you right now..." She said hugging me tighter.

I was dumbfounded that someone would say that.  But that chance was screwed up when Twilight and the Doctor came.

"Are you guys ok? We heard screaming!"  It sounded like Twilight.

"Yes I'm...Ok..." She said.  A little despair was in her voice.  We shifted back and acted like nothing happened.

"What happened?" Twilight asked.

"I...Don't want to talk about it." Fluttershy responded

"Ok we will continue searching on this side." Twilight said. "You can go back if you like."

"Psshhh Yeah I'm not going back because of Slendermane and a few Rakes." I said. "But Fluttershy you might want to go back to your cottage and get something to eat, I'm already feeling the effects of being near IT."

"N-No!" She said.  She wrapped her arms around me again. "I'm staying with you." Twilight stared at us for a second.

"Just go search" I said. When Twilight left we continued searching.

Later, we got further and further in the forest.  More scary things happened.  Fluttershy was still really close to me to ensure safety.  It was a nice feeling.  I have never felt actual love.  Not like this.  It was weird, because she was a pony, but hey, look at superman, hes an alien and he was married to a human.

We didn't talk much at all.  Except when she would get scared at times, I would say, "It's ok, nothing will hurt you."  At some point in time, we finally got in a conversation.

"What are we looking for anyways?" She asked.

"Flint...Steel...and um..." I looked hard at the smeared ink.  "Uh I think it's, obsidian?"  For some reason, it was oddly familiar.  We got flint and steel, but then the Obsidian, we had to go deep in caves I would have never dreamed of going into before.

Later, we finally made it to a light source, I heard lava.  But, that wasn't the only thing.  I heard some demonic screeches and choking sounds.  I looked to see these things lurking in the lava.  They  looked like they were crystallized. Shiny, but black.  I got a bucket of water I had found earlier and poured it down.  Lots of obsidian, but wrath.  The monsters saw us and climbed the walls.  Fluttershy was walking back but then slipped and fell.  I grabbed her hoof, I don't know how, but I did.  I tried to pull her up but my strength was fading.  I heard her scream, then I saw that one of the things had bit her.  This infuriated me as I pulled her up faster than I thought possible.  We ran up to the stream I got water from, and dug a path from the close stream.  Water went pouring into the pit.  And there was obsidian everywhere.  We went up.  I tried to make Fluttershy feel better, but she still was in pain.  "I'm sorry, I-I can't really do anything about it."  I said.

"Well, there is one thing." She said.

"What is it?" I said, desperate to make her feel better.

She went up immediately and kissed me.  I'm thinking I thought she was shy... but you know, no one is perfect.

I poured more water down and got the obsidian.

"Ok, here they are, now we are done." I said. "Time to save Ponyville."
