Hey guys, very sorry for the late update. ATM depression came back but some epic brony's came and helped out. They are: Killjoy, NightBeat, Mental_Zero, and Ferote. ENORMOUS  props to Killjoy, you rock bro. I'm pretty sure that this time will be the final battle with depression and thanks to all the brony's above who have helped me so far (seriously, a simple comment does help). I'm sorry if the grammar's not too good here but I really wanted to get this out. Ok guys, hope you like the chapter

Luna entered her royal room, still laughing softly at the very public display which many pony's had now begin to notice and a few brave souls (stupid, but brave) decided to get a closer look to simply find they could not because the royal guard was already there.

"That's what you get for sending me to the moon tia" Luna said softly to herself.

Luna walked over to Drax and looked him over. He had a pure black coat, gold black and red hair, and his cutie mark was of weights which was not uncommon but there was one thing that caught Luna's eye. The colors of the cutie mark were off. Instead of the typical black barbells and silver bar between the two, this was different. The barbells were golden and the bar itself was a deep scarlet.

"I've heard of discoloration of cutie marks but this is unheard of!" Luna exclaimed.

Luna rushed to the royal library and searched high and low until she found the book she was looking for titled:  Pony defects, causes, effects, and explanations. Luna opened the book and flipped to the cutie mark section and looked for the discoloration section.

Upon finding it, it read "Cutie mark discoloration is a unusual but not unheard of defect that happens in the earning of a cutie mark. Some say that its just because they have a mastery in that field, and others say its because they are cursed. Whatever the reason is, we do know some statistics on this: for every 1000 cutie marks earned, one of them had a color that is a slight shade either lighter or darker than it is supposed to be. For every 10000 cutie marks, a color in the cutie mark is such of a different shade that is is very obvious that there is a mistake. But for every 100000 cutie marks, the color itself is completely different.

This is the usual outcome of either inbreeding, which would also distort the cutie mark greatly, or the cause of a very strong potential in either physical strength, or magic. Because there is no known Allicorn to have any discoloration there is no proven information on the concept of ACD (Allicorn cutie mark discoloration) .

What we believe the discoloration means, is a way of showing how the pony with this defect's personality and temperament differ from the majority of others with the same or similar cutie mark.

Here is what we have found.

The the lighting of the shade of color is on a 10 through -10 scale, with 10 being almost white, and -10 being almost black. The lighter the color, the more optimistic the pony is expected to be as well as being more obliged to have an extroverted personality. The exact opposite goes for the the darker colors. Darker colors represent usually more pessimistic and be introverted.

When the change of a color does occur, we found that most color's have specific meanings"

Luna then looked at the list of colors and wanted to facehoof. "Great, just great. This is one of those books that lists everything in exact detail. This is going to take forever." said Luna, who then let out a great sigh.

14 minute's later after looking through many colors that looked very similar

Luna had finally been able to determine that according to the book's enormous color chart, Drax's cutie mark's colors were classified as Blood ruby red and Gleaming royal gold. To paraphrase what the book described the two colors meanings, the first one meant: the pony would do anything for those they cared the most about, even shed their own blood for them, and the second one, was unidentified. They just had it listed as "This color has never been seen before, it is only mentioned here if an occurrence of it does happen so it may be documented and confirmed by Celestia.."

"Gold's never been confirmed" said Luna, a smile growing upon her face, "I guess that Celestia may just have to confirm another one".

Luna's then remembered what she had heard Celestia heard two weeks beforehand. She had said that she had been the one to confirm every single color so far in cutie marks, which of course was just another one of her private bragging points.

"Well Celestia, I guess i may just have to pull a combo breaker" said Luna who had walked up to a window of the library to see a line of pony's forming to see Celestia in her "exposed state". The line stretched all the way to the middle of Canterlot.

"Hmm, that explains why there's so few pony's around the castle. Sorry tia, but I must get back to Drax."

Back in Luna's bedroom, Drax's eyes began to open. He yawned and stretched. "oh man, what a dream that was" Drax said, as he brought his hand to his face, only to be met by a black hoof jabbing him directly in his now over-sized eye.

His scream of pain was loud enough to wake Celestia, make Phillomena prematurely burn up, the animals in the garden to all hide, and for the line of pony's who were lined up to see Celestia, run like it was their last day alive as the princess of equestria awoke.
