I thought I was dead.
First impressions
Previous ChapterNext ChapterDrax woke up again, his body feeling rested and ready to take on this new world that he had been thrown into. He walked over to the window, and gazed upon the vast city that Luna's room was overlooking. There were two main residential districts within the city. The upper class, and the middle class districts. The upper class was closer to the main gate of the palace, while the middle class area was farther away. Between the two, was the market, where ponies were running about. Gathering goods that they needed. Some of them were conversing while others keeping their foals from running too far and getting lost in the crowd.
"Looks like NYC with all the shops and people, just not as many idiot's driving like maniacs" Drax said to himself.
Then Drax noticed train tracks in the distance, following them with his eyes, he saw that they led to a station in Canterlot.
"I wonder where that train leads to?" Drax said to himself. The train then started to pull out of the station, on the train in big gold letters, was written "Ponyvill Express".
"Well, I guess that answers that" said Drax with a light chuckle. He turned around, and examined the room that he was in again. The room's main color was blue, and a dark blue at that. The walls were the exact color of the night, with stars that twinkled which gave the room an interesting glow. Some of the stars had a lighter blue outline, that connected them to other stars. Upon looking at thet outlines that the stars had made, it was apparent that these lighter blue outlines were not there just for looks, they showed where the constellations were. On the bed's headboard, there was a moon, which was in a full moon stage. There were a few bookshelves packed full with books.
Drax was about to get a better look at the books, when Luna herself walked into the room.
"Luna! Im sorry, I should have tried to tell you that I was awake but I" said Drax who was cut off by Luna
"Dont worry Drax. Its fine, Im just glad your awake." she said, looking at his new, fully authentic body "and 100 % natural this time"
Drax let out a light laugh and said "Im still getting used to it, Im not really used to using fully biotic legs, and on top of that, I never walked on all four's... well not for the past 20 or so years I didn't, In fact in my old body, it was practically imposable to walk on all fours efficiently at all, so this just might take a while."
Luna smiled and walked towards the door, "come on, I'll show you around".
Drax clumsily waddled towards the door, trying his best to keep up with Luna's pace as she meandered around the castle, explaining all of its history and what historical significance it represented to the history of Equestria.
Drax, who was now starting to get the hang of walking in his new body, was now able to keep up with Luna and ask her questions about things and creatures that were unknown to him. Such as changelings, and manticores which Drax had never heard of.
The history lesson continued until a loud and clear clang of a bell was heard echoing throughout the castle.
"Uh oh" said Luna, "this may pose a problem."
"What is it, it docent sound like any alarm bell, or anything of that sort, whats the big deal?"
"Thats the dinner bell, and tonight its a royal feast. I don't know exactly how either Celestia or the rest of the castle staff is going to react to having a third allicorn in the castle"
"Why is that so bad, I mean your one of the royal sisters, why is having me here such a big deal?
"Well you see, this isn't any normal feast, this is the one where my parents and other relatives come in along with there most famous hero's of there nation. Its even more exclusive that the grand galloping gala, and my dad is well... overprotective".
