In the far east, beyond the mountain range that holds what used to be Canterlot, over an irradiated desert known as the Forbidden Zone, lies the Eastern Equestrian Wasteland. Here the heroics of the many ponies back west are only fantasies or rumors, as almost nothing gets through to this part of the blasted land. Here, the Slavers run most of the big operations, and it's by insane luck that ponies don't end up as a slave at some point. This is the story of a young stallion named Vanilla Moonlight, who cannot stand by anymore to watch innocent ponies die a needless death. He will experience hardships and loss, but also gain friends and allies along the way. But he must be careful. Fate has a way of sneaking up on ponies when they least expect it.
