Zombie ponies have taken over almost all of Equestria, and rumors are spreading that the Griffon Kingdom has been influenced by the plague as well, Twilight, her friends, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, and Princess Luna are all members of a small group trying to survive the new-found harshness of Equestria, but more importantly they are on a quest to figure out exactly what happened to Equestria, where the plague came from, and if there is a cure. Family and friends alike have fallen ill and returned, so will this meager group of survivors be able to keep their sanity and their courage to be able to put an end to the zombie outbreak?
