Chapters "Time for the last r-" The trap door burst open. On the other side, stood a glowing white mare. Her mane blazed with fire, and her eye's blood shot. On her flank, was a circle of fire. Behind her, were about a hundred guards, dressed in the gold armor meant for the Royal Guard,
"Pinkamena Diane Pie! You are under arrest, and charged with the murder of my little ponies!" As the sun goddess' horn glowed, her magic enveloped the party pony. Pinkie began to struggle, but was no match for the golden glow around her. She then noticed her victim. Limp, pale, bloody, and unconscious. As Pinkamena faded, Pinkie began to scream.
Guard's began to pour in. Each one began to look green the moment the could smell the rotten flesh. Quickly the unicorn's used there magic to levitate the bucket of rainbow dash's body part's. There stomach's churned as they caught sight of the mare herself. Her wing's were torn off, and her mane frazzled and burned. Her cutie mark's were cut out and, she had a big chunk of muscle in her leg missing. A scrawny, green as grass, unicorn stallion lost his lunch.
"I want you to search every inch of this building, interrogate Mrs. ad Mr. Cake, and I want Captain Armour himself to inspect every piece of evidence until I come back. That is an order!"
An ambulance speed to the royal Canterlot hospital. They didn't have time for Ponyville's, they needed the best. Inside was an unconscious Pegasus, a crying mare wrapped in a golden glow, two princess' and seven very sick looking guards.
The last thing I saw was Celestia wrapping my killer in her gold magic.
My eye's open. I'm in a tunnel. My wounds are healed.
"Hello? Anypony there?" Nothing. I'm alone. I stand and begin the journey through the tunnel. White. That's all I see, is white.
Where am I? What am I? Who am I? Do I even exist? How old am I? Do I have an age? Why am I here? I have forgotten everything. As I continue my journey, hope begins to fade, like water under the sun on June 21st. The passage goes on for as far as the eye can see. Maybe more. Each step take's away any hope of the end. I begin to run short of breath. I hear a faint sound.
"I'm... so... sorry... forgive... Dash..."
As Pinkie Pie was dragged out of the ambulance, and into a Royal police carriage she uttered a finale plea for forgiveness to her Pegasus friend.
"I'm so sorry. Please forgive me Dashie..." The doors close and she is left in the dark. Eternity went by. Pinkie thought they were going to let her die in the carriage. Pain. A sharp pain begins to fill her chest. It burns like a thousand sun's. Then it tightens and swells. Hot tears stream down her face as she remember's her friend. Mutilated, burned, cut up, and sick. As second turn into minutes, minutes into hours and hours into eternity, the party pony cries. She let it kill so many ponies. She let it have what it desired. She should have done this long ago. Taking her hoof cuff's, she wrap's them around her throat. Before death reach's her, light fill's the carriage.
Celestia open's the door. Pinkie is choking herself, crying and looking crumpled. She look's like she just saw a ghost, as she mumble's nonsense.
"I'm so... sorry Dashie... Pinkie didn't want... Pinkamena to take over... She didn't want to let her... have what she desired... Pinkie should... have done this long ago... I'm sorry..." The princess look's at the serial killer. She knew death was not necessary. This pony looked genuinely sorry, and angry at herself. No, a mental facility will do. The pony will die there.
I sit down. I probably have all the time in the world to make it to the end, if there is an end. I have already learned one thing about myself. I hate being in boring place's, and this was deathly boring. Instead, I try to recall memories. All I can remember is the face of a pink pony. Pinana dia Pe? Pini pe? No. That's not right. I'll just go with, the pink killer. Yes that will go nicely. Now I try to remember other things. I remember flying. The air brushing through my rainbow mane. Progress. Eating hay fries. Blur's of ponies kicking tree's. An orange and purple blur. Necklace's and a big crown thingy. Suddenly, a name cross' my mind. Rainbow Danger Dash...
The pink mare sit's in the white, plush room. Her white jacket pins her hooves to her torosso. The normally frizzy mane, now a certain of almost gray pink. Her fur stained with tears. She was a murderer, yet she was alive. The sentence for murder was death, so why was she in a straight jacket? A quite, giggle escapes her pursed lip's. Then a manically laugh. She smile's, her pupil's turn into pin pricks as they stay far away from each other. Pinkamena Diane Pie. She owed it to her parent's. They taught her how to kill. How to bake. How to open the gate's to Tartarus.
Away in a madhouse, confined to my bed
From visions and nightmares that filled me with dread
The Doctor has sweetly inserted a probe
To sever completely my prefrontal lobe
Electroshock therapy, mind-numbing pills:

Twilight sat in her room reading James Patterson's 'Maximum Ride'. It was a warm spring day. everything was quite. Too quite. Normally at this time of day Rainbow dash would be screaming, preforming the Sonic Rainboom, maybe even attempting the Double Sonic Rainboom. But instead silence met the ear's of Twilight. Well, now Spike just belched. But it was still silent.
"Twilight! Something has happened to Pinkie and Rainbow! Rainbow is in the hospital, and Pinkie..." The baby dragon jumped up and down, but stopped when he thought of the Asylum. Fear shoot through the lavender unicorn like a bullet. No. She threw the book at a wall and jumped down the stairs. She didn't even touch the step's, she just went right past them. She broke into a full on gallop as she made her way to the train station.
"Spike... take a *pant* letter. *pant* Rainbow Dash is *pant* in the Canterlot Hospital and, *pant* Spike what happened to *pant* Pinkie? Write it *pant* down. Tell them *pant* To meet us there. *pant* Send it. *pant* Repeat twice." The unicorn mare stopped at the booth. The train was pulling in right then thankfully. Spike was now empty handed. The smell of smoke and gem's filled the air.
"i need two tickets for Canterlot, RIGHT NOW!" Unimpressed, her rolled his eye's and handed her the ticket's.
"That'll be..." He stopped when the mare tossed the bits to him before he could state the price. She then galloped off to the train to find it was unloading. She stepped out and panicked. She NEEDED to get to Canterlot Hospital. Getting antsy, the mare dived into the mess.
"Wait, uh, I don't think you should..." But it was to late, the mare was lost in the sea of exiting ponies. Biting his lip's, he looked around. Bead's of sweat began to fall as the time continued on, and more ponies exited the train.
'Oh, the thing's I do for you Twilight...' He then ran in for his Guardian.
Three friends sat listening in on three fillies. Cutie Mark Crusader Cupcake Bakers! YAY! As the cheer finished, three orb's of fire appeared in front of the mares. Each said the same thing. One of there friends was in the hospital, another in the Asylum. Two began to run, but soon more orb's appeared. These were from there friend Twilight. They said the same thing. Though, they would never know, because they were far ahead by then. The other barged into the club house.
"Girl's, sorry fer cutin' yer 'Crusade' short, but I need to talk ta Scootaloo fer a sec, and then she need's tah come with me and the gahls somplace so she can be there fer a friend o' her's." taking the filly outside, she looked at the ground.
"Scootaloo... Ah, do't really wanna be the one ta tell ya this but... Somepony has to. Rainbow is in the Emergency Room o' the Canterlot Hospital. Me, Rarity and Fluttershy are headin' to the Hospital, and ah' think ya'll should come with us." The filly fell in shock.Head hanging low, she picked the filly up, and galloped to the train station, wishing to make it on time.
"Celestia what are you doing here!?!" The lavender unicorn looked at her mentor who had been sitting in the waiting room for hours on end. Her normal color full mane was now a dull, pink - blonde. Bags shown under her dropping eye's. Her coat was stained with tears. Next to her was her sister. Frozen with shock. Her mane was now a solid blue, instead of the magical aura. Her crown, necklace, and shoes sat by her side. She was curled up in a ball. The princess' were train wrecks.
"P- pinkamena had taken over your dear friend pinkie. Sh-she killed m-m-many pony's, like she was playing a game. She turned th-them into cupcakes. A-and she almost k-killed Rainbow Dash." it was the first time in over a millenia that Celestia had stuttered on her words so bad. And that was because her sister was on the moon. But now her protege's friend, element of laughter, was named a serial killer. She just wanted to die right then and there.
"Twilight! What's the meaning of this! Why did ya'll send us letter's saying RD was in this here hospital and Pinkie was in the madhouse!?! I don't understand why ya want me to buck ya'll in yer muzzle! It doesn't make any sense Sugar Cube!" Three mare's burst into the waiting room. After a long, shaky, explenation every pony begin's to let out all there emotions. Tear's, cursing, sitting there shocked, and pure hate. Ah, the hate. If they saw Pinkie, they would murder her.
"Why I'm gonna..." The orange mare sat there planning revenge.
"Now Apple Jack, that is no way to speak of a friend with a double personality." Lie's. Rarity wanted to slaughter the party pony as well, but she had a reputation to keep! If she went around saying she wanted to slaughter Pinkie she would be hated just as much.
"I just want to take away what's precious to her and through it away! If that's okay with you." Twilight looked at her friends, filled with anger, and sorrow. Sighing, she looked at FlutterShy.
"FlutterShy, can you please check on... Pinkamena , for us? I want to find out how she's doing. And AppleJack?" She turned her gaze toward the orange farmpony.
"Can you quickly pick up Scootaloo? She... might want to know." Nodding, the two ponies got up from there seat's and trotted out, one more reluctant than the other. Twilight shifted in her seat, avoiding the gaze of the rest. She had some thinking to do, and she didn't want to show her green face to anypony. After all, she had been eating dead ponies for the past three years. It stung, knowing her friend could die, and her other friend was a psychopath, maniac, serial killer. The smell's of the most clean place in the Universe assaulted her muzzle, and the ticking of the clock scared her. Time was slowing, it was a life or death situation. A bead of seat rolled down her lavender face. Her eye's darted everywhere, as if she was being watched. Goosebumps formed upon the entirety of her body, and her mane slowly broke apart. She unconsciously began to tap her hooves, slowly at first, but as time slowed her pace quickened.
"Twilight? Are you going to be alright dear?" A hoof rested upon her shoulder, causing Twilight to jump out of her seat. When realizing who it was, she was forced back to reality, due to a thing called, 'Gravity'.
"Uh, yeah, sure I'm fine, why wouldn't I be? I mean, it's not like Rainbow is gonna die and Pinkie Pie is a psychotic, maniac, serial killer? Right, Rarity?" Sighing she got up and brushed herself off.
"I-... I'm sorry, I think I need to go to the bathroom. I just, I think I need to be alone right now..." Rarity looked to celestia for reassurance, but found none in the equally worried expression. She looked to Luna, but to no avail, for the mare hid the majority of her face, the rest looking terrified.
"What are we going to do?" The white mare whispered under her breath. She heard the tell tale sound of the door sliding, and a crying foal. Celestia embraced the filly, hushing for her to be silent.
"Shhh, it's okay, it's all going to be alright." But in reality, she didn't know if it would be alright.
The voice of a true true friend
"Rainbow... It's... Scratch... I... Happened... Sorry... I... Music... listen?" A sad, scratchy voice enter's my thoughts. For some reason, something the voice said stuck out. Music.
"Hey Rainbow. It's me, Vinyl Scratch. I heard what happened. Sorry about that. I uh, brought some music. Wanna listen?" She pulls out a CD. She then proceeds to put it in a radio. A soft song begin's to play.
A soft, catchy tune echo's in the white tunnel. It sound's of silver river's rushing, as sonic rainboom's echo repeatedly. Wind rustle's blade's of grass, and the voice of canterlot cry's out in joy. The sky's weep, and ponies clap there hooves. A scratching can be heard from beyond. Bird's whistle, spider web's are pulled. Metal hit's metal, causing a sip of echoing and wobbling. The soft embrace of the sun wrap's around me as I listen. I felt, like I was with a friend...
"Mrs. Vinyl... comma... testing... later... rest..." The music come's to a halt, as a deep, serious voice enter's my head. Comma. The best thing I had heard, was stopped for THAT! So, uncool! Ending something so awesome, was like, a crime! I stomped my hooves on the pearl white 'floor' and gallop forward. I had to find the source of this.
"Mrs. Vinyl Scratch, we have come to the conclusion that, Rainbow Danger Dash, Is in a comma. We ask you to, step out, so we can run some test's. You may come by later, so we advise you to go home and rest." Doctor Gregory Horse entered the room. His eye's were baggy, and bloodshot. His hair looked like it had seen better day's. Much, better day's. He had spent all night looking at the wing damage, book's on what to do if you at least cut your cutie mark, and a book called 'a doctors guide to caring for a pony in a comma'. Nothing gave him answer's as to what he had to do. The wing bone's were cut, jagged, and snapped in a strange way. Her cutie mark was completely severed. She had been electrocuted, and pumped with adrenaline. The adrenaline hadn't truly taken affect until she was in the ER. With her heart rate already jumping from fear and pain, she was electrocuted. If thing's couldn't get any worse, she had a sudden burst of energy causing her heart rate to practically explode. But then, as soon as it started, it stopped. Due to this, she fell into a comma. He had no idea how to fix this. Her hooves were nailed to a wooden plank, she was strapped down causing her to slowly loose blood circulation, and a chunk of meat was missing in her leg. These were easy fix's, but with the other three thing's the Pegasus might not make it.
"Miss Dash. Can you hear me?" The brow stallion looked at the pony. Her cyan coat was brownish, from electrocution and dried blood. Her rainbow mane had become dull and lifeless. Her magenta eye's was glazed over, and glassy. Her entire torso, and her hip's were wrapped in a gauze.
In the Canterlot Asylum, a pink pony sit's in one of the white, fluffy rooms. Her expression changes over and over as she mumble word's to herself.
"I'm sorry Dashie, I didn't mean to!"
"Oh you little foal, stop whining and get it through your head! this town need's to shrink, and she only caused alot of trouble fro the town!"
"But she was my friend!"
"She was a worthless coward that couldn't understand she was reckless and selfish!
The war ragged on in that little room, for what seemed like hours. A soft yellow pony look's into the room through a window. Her aqua eye's widen as she she's her friends pain. Her mane is flat, her eye's narrow, and soften on a whim, as she fights tears. The pony back's up, and tighten's her wings to her torso. Her pink mane hide's the look of horror on her face as she begins to leave the viewing room...
I look down at the darkness. After walking for who know's how long, I made it. But 'It' is not what I expected. A cliff. "Should I? No... Well... Nah... But. NO! I am not going to jump over the edge!" I stomp my hoof, listening to the loud echo. I rustle my cyan feather's. But if this isn't what I think it is... I could use you two... Narrowing my eye's, I take a step and fall into the darkness...
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Beep. Beep. Worried, and scared eye's look at the cyan pega- no no no... earth pony? Well anyway, eight pairs of eye's look upon the pony. A filly hood friend, an honorary little sister, two princess', a doctor, the pony who was about to admit something important to her, friendly competition mate, and the pony who made something for her to wear to a very important event. The event that included three very important ponies to her. These nine ponies looked down, watching every movement of the cyan pony. The pony, had been cleaned, and put back together. The holes in her hooves has been sewn closed, her cutie marks carfully stitched back together, the small most recent injury on her stomach, had been naturally closed, but not without the help of modern hospitals and the chunk of meat from her leg temporarily replaced by some weird thing of modern technology. Her wing's, were under high surveillance in another room as they studied it and photo's taken every hour of her stub's. Her mane had been given a cut, due to electrical damage. Her fur had also been cut, more like shave and anything left was washed.
"Do ya think she'll be okay doc? Is she gonna make it?" An lavender mare looked at the brown stallion. He simply looked at her, and then down at the floor.
"It's hard to tell, at any moment she could... leave us, and then again, at any moment she could wake up. I just, don't know..." He shook his head.
"R-rainbow Dash w-will make it! I-I know she c-can! Because sh-she's Rainb-bow D-dash! Toughest, c-coolest, fast-test and bravest po-pony in all of Eq-q-questria! She is the L-loyalist of a-any pony to w-w-walk on the face o-of the p-planet!" A shacky and tear stained filly looked at her mentor, and sister....
"I-... I believe in you!"
