Story of Vocal

Chapter 5

"Angel!  I should enter the talent show!" He said with great excitement in his voice. "Don't you think angel?"

"Sure Vocal." She said has happy has she could be. "Your a great singer." With a shinning smile.

They walked towards the mayor's house to join the talent show. There were many ponies there. Little colts and fillies. Even grown ponies.

He signed up for the talent show on the desk outside. He looked around, seeing the other ponies practice there talents. Some were singing. Others were dancing and juggling.

A random pony came up to both Angel and Vocal. "Hi there! My name is Rhyme  Spitter! What are your names?" He said jumping all around the place. 'He's sure is a hyper one' Vocal thought.

"My name is Vocal Wave and this is Angel Apple." Vocal said trying to smile. "Good names!" Rhyme said.

"I'm going to be singing! Well, more then singing. I'm going to be rapping!"

Rhyme said with a great big smile.

"Nice to know that bud." Vocal said a little annoyed. "Bud? Does that mean we are friends?!" He said with a smile. He seemed to always smile. Just like Pinkie does.

"Uhh. Sure." Vocal said. "Well, I better go practice for the talent show." They walked passed Rhyme Spitter. "Okay. Good luck!" He said with a happy tone.

They went somewhere alone so Vocal can practice. Vocal sang with a beautiful voice. It was remarkable. Vocal didn't sing that much. He thought it sounded horrible.

"Amazing Vocal!" Angel with her eyes wide open. She was in shock that he can sing so good. "Really? I mean, I think it's horrible." Vocal looked down to the ground embarrassed.   "No, no, no! It's really, really good Vocal." Angel said with a great big smile.

"Thank you Angel, I need to tell you something." Vocal said with white face turning into a bright red. With his face its vary noticeable that he is blushing. "What is it Vocal?" Angel asked.

"You make me feel so special, you make me so happy when I'm around you, your smile brightens up my day." Vocal said. Angel became red. She was shocked that Vocal felt this way about her." I think I love you..." Vocal said shyly'

Tears started to fall down her cheeks. She was so happy to hear that from Vocal. She loved him back secretly. She didn't know what to do. She quickly nuzzled Vocal. With tears rolling down her face. She had a big smile on her face.

She stopped nuzzling Vocal and looked at him. "Go out there and win my Vocal." Angel said. He smiled and walked out towards the stage. He was ready. It was his turn to get onstage. He got there and looked at everypony. He was shy and scared. He had massive stage fright. He looked to Angel smiling at him. He smiled and started to sing.

Everyone was amazed except the other contestants. After he was done. Everypony started to cheer and hoof the ground. Vocal was amazed. They liked him. He got off the stage with a big smile.

Angel and Rhyme spitter got near him and congratulated Vocal performance. "That was awesome!" Rhyme said. " that was great." Angel said with a smile. Vocal hoof bumped Rhyme and nuzzled Angel.

"The winners of the round is Vocal, Rhyme, AJ, (Arrow Jolt) Jumper, and Spirit!" The mayor said with a great big smile. Everypony cheered for the winners. "They will be moving to the finals!" The mayor said again.
