A Terrible Accident, A New Beginning
I wake up, I'm cold, I'm wet, I feel strange, I'm laying on a giant bright red carpet. I can barely see, my eyes hurt, they sting. My head feels like it got hit by a train. I try to get up, but my body refuses. I fall back to sleep, the last things i hear are a loud female voice screaming “ What is that abomination”.
I wake up, I'm in a bed, i look around the room, the room is huge, its obviously a hospital, I'm attached to a heart monitor and fluid dispenser, but the strangest thing, I look at my arm, then my hand. Its not there, instead there is a hoof, like a horse or pony. I panic, i look around the room, there on top of the door is written “Canterlot Royal Hospital: Prince Room 1F”. I try to think of any city that has the name Canterlot, but to no avail, i go to get my phone out of my pocket, but to my surprise, it isn't there, i then look and remember that i have changed, but somehow have ‘pockets’ in my skin. I pull the sheet that lays on top of me and inspect my new body, its small and Pony shaped. I'm also not skin color any more, my whole body, which is covered in fur, is now red coloured, i brush my hoof across my tummy and it seems real, no paint and the fur is not fake as several times i pull on it to see if i'm sleeping. I look above me and i see a hanging TV, its huge, i think, is this heaven. I then think, did i just die, become a pony and then a prince? I shake off the thought as the door on the other side of the room opens and another pony, like me walks in, she is purple, has dark Indigo, pink and purple hair which is combed down straight. She walks beside my bed, right next me. I see her horn glowing which i just release is there, I think, A Unicorn? I secretly try to grab my horn, but find there is nothing there. Her horn glows and out pops a letter, she reads:
“Dear Stranger/Human,
I Twilight Sparkle, sister to Prince Shining Armour and Personal student to Princess Celestia welcome you to the country of Equestria.
You have been teleported here when an event during our world, which a spell of Dark magic and an event in your world, in your case a near death experience, created a temporal universal rip and sent you here to Equestria. You have been declared dead to the Commonwealth of Australia, Earth and will start a new life here as returning is impossible. You will be given a Home in your choice of city or town, 1000 bits, the currency used here in Equestria and several essential items to help you in your new life. If you have any questions, direct them to me and I will help in what way I can.
Thank you for your cooperation”
Twilight then rolls the letter back up and starts to stare at me. I move my mouth a little and she starts to talk again.
“Hello, I'm Twilight, sorry about the scary letter, we got some lawyer people do it since Celestia is busy and Luna kept writing (I think, who is Luna, her sister) obscene things since you scared her on your arrival. I personally would have written it, but I only got here yesterday and was told the news, which just so you know, you have been here (Wow she talks a lot) for a total of 4 days, any ways, any questions?”
I pause for a second just so she doesn't speak again and then speak my mind.
“yeah, just a few:
1: I was human, now I'm a Pony
2: How did you know I was Human
3: how do you know about Earth and know that they think I'm dead
and 4 nice to meet you, my name is Josh”
After a finish, show puts out her hoof, which I shake?
“well I can answer 1 and 2 by letting you watch a recording of your, ‘arrival’.”
She then hovers a remote out of nowhere and switches on the hanging TV which she then flick’s to a channel.
Showing on the channel is a recording of a huge formal room, with a long red carpet laying along the middle, then within seconds a huge flash is seen and I, myself in human form, naked is shown on the carpet, wet and shaking. As it shows me trying to get up, my body starts to change, within minutes after I stop moving, my body has fully transformed into a pony and then the video repeats. I Watch it again, thinking its all bizarre, but something that had hidden itself this entire time pops into my head, i am still naked. I look under the rest of my sheets where my lower half resides and see my junk just hanging out, for all to see. I think, why wouldn't they give me clothes, I then slowly, not to let her notice, look to Twilight, more specifically the lower regions and put the to and to together, I'M NAKED FOREVER!
“Oh that's right, so you don't have to find stuff out the hard way, The princess wrote out this facts about Equestria for you, I didn't mind you looking just this once, but its frowned upon here, but I understand your thirst for knowledge” Twilight says as she hands me some paper, I slightly blush as I start to read:
Facts for the new Pony you By Princess Celestia and Dr Hooves
1: Ponies are naked 99.99% of the time, we only dress up for special occasions, which even then we have no lower clothing
2: Looking at another ponies down under is a no no, unless of course its allowed by the pony ‘wink, wink’
3: No toilets, we ponies use the world as our toilet, however if you are to wander into a cloud city, they have contraptions like toilets, so wastes do not fall onto below ponies.
4: We have technology, we have P-Phones (I-phone in your world), Laptops, Internet and more, just not washing machines, don't ask why
5: The weather is controlled by Pegasus ponies
6: Our culture is like humanity, we have fights and wars, so watch out!
7: The tattoo like markings on the flank of many ponies NOTE: THE ONLY PLACE AND REASON TO LOOK AT A PONYS FLANK, WE HAVE LAWS AND POLICE! are their cutie marks, this represents their special talent, you will receive one if you are to discover yours
8: This list could go on, but you are best to investigate or check out Twilight's Library, which I recommend you do as just as much as you want to discover things about us, she wants to discover things about Humans and Earth.
As I finish the list, I read it again, sweating at the naked all the time part, getting sick at the toilet part and relieved at the technology part. However as I reread the part about Pegasis i check my back of my body, to feel too strange extensions which would be my wings I presume. I slightly celebrate in my head as I finish re-reading the letter and putting the papers down.
“Now for your other questions, we have a representative of earth with us, he sort of represents all of existence, hes called the Doctor, mysterious guy, don't see him much and also as for your wings if you were about to ask, they are weak and will need proper training, do no jump off anything expecting to fly, we have thousands of deaths per year from young colts falling to their death trying to fly, which is worrying also since only 5% of them actually are pegasus's, any ways, I have to go, feel free to call the nurse button when you are well rested and then once they remove the needle from your arm, you are free to go, one of my dear friends Pinkie will be waiting outside for you to take you to the Pony Civilian registration building to get your new gear and login” I wonder what the login is for, but before I can ask, Twilight is already leaving, her tail flicking on her way out the door. I try to move my tail, but only seem to hurt my butt when I try. After 15 minutes, I press the button and another Pony, this time a nurse, with a medical cross cutie mark walks in, removes the needle, wishes me a good day and walks out. I get out of bed and walk towards the door, as I try to turn the handle, I discover that my hoof somehow under stands what I want and I easily turn the handle and start to walk outside...
