Spike has grown considerably over the past decade, and his love for Rarity has never waned, but despite their feelings, they can both feel the wedge being driven between them by their separate lives. Love is an unfathomable power, stronger than any other force in existence. It is giving and yet also selfish, it can nurture or oppress, it may grant both peace or madness. With it, anything can be accomplished, any obstacle may be overcome, but not without consequences. When a dragon's love for a pony pushes him to extremes, his actions may tear apart the universe itself.

Princess "Jade" is vaguely inspired by QueenCold's Jade, but mostly this is just the base character design itself. Otherwise I actually picture this character's personality and situation much closer to Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-It Ralph. Hopefully the similarities wont distract from the differences.
