The God of Chaos....or the Brazen Cowboy?
DreamCatcher's mane bobbed gently up and down as she silently trotted up behind Discord. She stood up on her hind hooves, tottering for a moment. Once her balance had been achieved, she leaped up onto the god's back, giggling and howling like a child. She closed her eyes as yelps and eventual giggles erupted from the wriggling body beneath her. This body stood straight, letting her slide down to its tail, and then used its muscles to launch her a few feet into the air. Being an earth pony never gave DreamCatcher much air-time, so she relished in the mere moments she knew she had. She spread her legs and hooves, loving the feeling of the wind whipping her sky-colored mane as her body sped toward the ground. Fortunately, a paw and a claw caught her inches from the ground. She had fallen into fits of extreme laughter by now, and calmed herself enough to open her eyes and admire her savior: Discord, the God of Chaos.
He brought his head down to nuzzle and kiss the mare in his arms. She responded with coos and giggles as a blush rushed itself to both of their cheeks. The god lifted his head just enough to look at his girlfriend.
"My darling, I know it's only been a year to the day that I finally scrambled together the courage to ask such a beautiful mare like you out, and I swear to Celestia, I'm even more in love with you now than I was back then."
He bent back down and gently kissed her.
"And I always will."

DreamCatcher sniffed around in an empty patch of land, looking for some delicious grass to munch on. Just as she had found the perfect sprouts, a deer hoof and a reptile leg landed in front of her, crushing her snack. Her head snapped up, about to give the intruder a piece of her mind. Until she realized who it was. And when she did, a goofy smile spread across the mare face.
"Discord, my darling!" she cheered. She balanced herself on her hind hooves, expecting a kiss from her chaotic love.
But instead she got a chicken claw over her face, pushing her down back onto the earth. A tsk'ing sound flooded her ears.
"Catcher, darling, I simply don't have the time right now! In fact, I can't make it to our little date tonight, as per my stuffed up schedule. Toodeloo~!"
And with that, he was gone. DreamCatcher had to sit for a second to let it digest. It had all happened in the blink of an eye. First she sat, and then sprawled herself out on the grass, appetite gone. Her vision became blurred with tears, which soon created streaks in her deep purple coat.
This was the fifth date in a row that he had canceled because of his "work."
Her body shivered and twitched with sobs. She curled up and muttered and sobbed incoherentley.
Once her tear supply of tears was gone, she peeled herself from the matted dirt beneath her. Cleaning herself, she figured maybe she could talk to somepony. Perhaps that would lift her spirits. After a bit of calculation, she figured that Sweet Apple Acres was the nearest residence. In her opinion, Applejack was the best pony to go to advice.
With heavy hooves, DreamCatcher began her journey to her friend's residence.
