Tyr is quite the unusual filly. Her grasp of social norms is weak at best, and she scares the other ponies with her grim mindset. But there's a reason for her eccentricities. She appears to come from a version of Equestria where alicorns are regarded as gods worthy of worship, not princesses. It is a place consumed by conflict and terror, and how she and her kin have arrived here is a mystery.

When mystery and high fantasy abounds, some of the smaller things get swept under the proverbial rug. This is Tyr's story, or at the very least a fraction of it. How would somepony react to something integral to their identity being stripped from them? What sorts of challenges might they face? And at the end of each day, what will keep them moving forward?

This story is set during the events of "Myths and Birthrights"
