Moonlight Shadow was raised under the wings of Celestia. Thanks to his brother's influence, he learned the benefits of dark magic. After the disaggreement with the Princess, he was imprisoned for his crime. After hundreds of years he returns.
Everypony makes mistakes. Even somepony as great, and wise as Celestia. Through her long life she have made many, but there is one that haunts her even to this day. When the nightmares begin, she knows that a pony from her past will return to get his revenge.
