He stood in the crowd, moving his Chalice silver hair out of his eyes, so that he may better, gaze up at the princess of the Sun, and all Equestria. Princess Celestia herself. This year for the Summer Sun Celebration, she came to Manehatten. He felt his heart drop as she appeared, giving a smile, and walking past, then he finally spoke.

"Princess Celestia!" He yelled, trying to get her attention.

She turned, facing him. "Yes my young disciple?" She gave him a warm smile.

"My name is Silver Shine, and I wanted to ask if... IF I COULD BE A ROYAL KNIGHT!" He stood in the proudest stance that a boy of 7 could stand, awaiting her answer, with his eyes shut. Refraining from wiping the sweat off hi forehead.

"I don't see why not." She giggled slightly. He looked up, not believing the words he heard.

"R-Really!?!?" He smiled brightly.

She nodded. "After the Celebration, I will speak to your parents." She smiled one last time before departing towards the stage.

After the Celebration, the young boy approached Celestia. Her gaze met him, as he walked triumphantly.
"Well hello there Page Silver Shine." She smiled, then noticed his lack of parental figures. "Where are your parents young Page?"

"They... They aren't here..." He looked to the ground

"Well, I would like to meet my new Page's pare-"

"Y-You can't..." He cut her off. "They aren't here...."

She pieced it together. "Oh... I-I'm sorry..."

The silence between them grew, before he broke the silence.

"I guess I can't be a knight then..." She remains silent for a bit.

"I never said that." She kneels down, lifting his chin so that she could speak to him face to face.
"A knight is never without flaws, and is measured in how well he is able to deal with them, more than how he can leave them desolate." He remains silent as she continues."And if you don't have parents to take care of you, I will." She smiles sweetly at the young boy.

He tries to contain his enjoyment as he stands in front of his princess, almost fainting from the excitement of living with the princess of Equestria!

"But I have to ask," She stated, giving a pause and looking deep into is Rose Quart eyes. "Where are your parents?"

He remained silent, then looking to the ground. "I.... I don't know... I never knew them..." He continues to look at the ground, following the cracks in the cobblestone with his eyes, then she finally retorted. "I... I'm sorry to hear that...." She stayed kneeling, then stands.

He looks up at her, as she extends her arm, and smiles warmly. "It would be my pleasure to have you with me young knight." He smiles, as he runs and hugs her. "Thank you princess."

She is taken aback, but returns the hug. "No need to thank me Silver Shine, I am doing a service, for you." They hold the embrace for a couple of seconds, before entering the Golden plated chariot. pulled by pegusi, and towards Canterlot.
