Chapter 3: Kansas Is Long Gone, Dorothy!
As James slept, he had an odd dream. One of unusualness, that even he couldn't explain. First, he was lying in bed with his dog, Charlie. Then, as he sat up, he saw that the window was open. Looking out, he saw Professor Wonder rocking in a rocking chair... in a dress. Shocked, he rubbed his eyes in a attempt to see if he was hallucinating. It looked as though he wasn't, for he saw his two cousins rowing a boat.
Looking out the window, James saw objects flying all around. Looking down, he saw the swirling vortex below him. At first, he was afraid that he would fall out of the house. Then, he sees a small village at the bottom, as if it was a TV Screen. It showed a world full of ponies. It interested him for the ponies looked like they were preventing evil from taking over, weird adventures of time travel, strange physics, and more.
Suddenly, dark smoke started to come towards him, as he leaned over. He leaned in closer, when suddenly, lightning strikes. Surprised, he falls over and goes down the twisted tube, hearing maniacal laughter as he fell over, deeper and deeper. Soon, he was within reach for the dark smoke. It reaches out to grab him....
Snapping awake, James finds himself inside his house, in his bed...on the ceiling. Looking in front of him, he sees Charlie sitting there. "What happened?" "You and the house got caught in a twister.", Charlie said, adding, "As well as I". James did a whoops smile, adding "Sorry," to his sentence. He sighed, wondering what to do. "Charlie, did you check the scanners?" He said, starting to get dressed. "Yes but-." Charlie started. James stopped, then looked at Charlie. "But what Charlie?" "We aren't on Wonder Island James. We're not even on Earth I think." he said. James allowed the news to sink in, before he whooped in joy. "Hahahaha! Charlie, do you know what this means?" Charlie shook his head, then James picked him up. "We're free from Professor Wonder. I'm free to do my own science experiments, you're free to go anywhere. We're free to do almost anything we want." he said, with a smile.
He sighed, then said, "But that now means that I'm even farther away from my family." Both were sad at that point. "They may even think that I'm dead." he said, with a pause. Charlie's head slung down as he whined. "Don't worry, I think we can make something for this new world." James said. He then got up, finishing his dressing. He was dressed in a t-shirt, a pair of jeans, a sweat jacket, and his favorite pair of shoes. He then looked over the place. "Since I now have the rest of the day off, how about re-modeling this place?" he said with a smile.
Charlie responded by wagging his tail. He really liked the idea. James walked to the front of the house, only to find a hole where the window was. And instead, the front door was there. Climbing up to the front door, he opens it to see that Charlie was right, he wasn't on Wonder Island anymore. Instead, he was in a forest, in some kind of natural clearing, but doesn't know where (or when, if he time traveled) he was. He looked up to see that the sky was a lot bluer than before ( if it was possible). He then looked around his yard to see the broken cars and some parts from the twister experiment. He then climbed out and looked over his house.
The place was upside down, but it looked good on his white house. The ground was ripped out of the ground (from the island) and stuck to his house. The basement was down below, but the roof was stuck in the ground. James looked at Charlie, then said, "I think we'll need to renovate." Charlie said, "I agree." James placed on his construction helmet, and then gave Charlie his helmet. He then pulled out the remote, and pressed the button. Soon Construction Bots (not Construction Drones like the Test girls inventions) came out, as James smiled. He then his own tools and started to help build, as they worked on the house.
A Few Hours Later...
"Well, we did it Charlie. Only took a couple of hours, some re-inventing of several of my Construction Bots, and some hard work full of blood and sweat." "But, mostly sweat.", Charlie said. James looked at Charlie, smiled at him, then back at the house and nodded. All of a sudden, there was a thunderclap, and a flash. Then after that three magnets fell from the sky. That's when James remembered what to do. "Time to hide." James said, dragging the magnets inside.
Basement, an hour and a half later...
Thus, it began...

Chapter 4: The Beginning of A New Type of Friendship
The next day, James grabbed his bike and stepped out of his garage. Charlie jumped into the bike basket, and sat down. James closed the garage doors, then started off in the general direction toward the gate, going straight past it, into the unknown. Riding it, he saw the many different plants and animals. "Yup, this is going to be fun." he said, in a semi-sarcastic tone. He then stopped, coming across a odd plant. "What's this?", James said. The plant had blue petals or leaves, and the stem was reddish-blue. "Better put on my latex gloves dude. It could be poisonous." "Indeed.", Charlie said, looking around. He sensed that they were being watched as he looked around, but didn't see whatever it was. James picked it, then placed it into a plastic sandwich bag. He collected several others, and took pictures of odd creatures.
Then, just as he was done with sample collecting, he started to write notes in a leather bound journal (synthetic) when suddenly he heard a noise he knew meant danger. Charlie started growling at the mysterious creature, when it made a more scarier growl. That frightened Charlie, causing him to whimper. James knew that meant "Quitting time!" he exclaimed, "Time to head home."
Grabbing his bike, he turned it around and started riding it home. The thing soon started chasing after him. He took a quick look to see what was chasing him. The creature was made of tree and woods, and appeared to be dog-like. "Charlie, quick. Take a picture." Charlie did so, then ducked back into the basket. James didn't know what to do, then he remembered what he installed into his bike. He activated the homing beacon, tracing his way back home. More and more started to follow him, but he was out riding them. It appeared to be safe when, all of a sudden, one of them sideswiped him. The force of the creature was so great that it knocked him unconscious. As he slowly passed out, he heard whimpering and a angelic voice. Almost motherly.
Waking up, he felt a little distorted. Looking around, he saw that he wasn't home. Instead, he was inside a cottage. He looked around, trying to find anything familiar. The only thing familiar was his pet, and friend, Charlie. "Charlie, where am I?", James said. Charlie looked at him, then said, "We definiately aren't on planet Earth, that's for sure.". James looked at him, not understanding, until he noticed a yellow pony with a light pink maine.
"Now, who would dye a horse's hair color pink and yellow?" "Um, this is my natural hair color, and I-I'm not a horse, I'm a-a pony.", said the pony. James was frozen in a state of shock before he slapped himself. "Charlie, I thought I heard the pony talk." "You did, except she didn't have my collar on. She spoke *ahem* "straight from the horse's mouth".", Charlie chuckled at his joke, while James sat there with jaw hanging open. He then shook himself out of it. "Can you come here?", James said. She walked up to James, where he gently grabbed her head. "Can you open your mouth for a moment?". She nodded, then opened it wide. James looked and saw that she had vocal cords like a human. She then closed her mouth.
In return, James smiled and scratched her head. "I thought you were going to harm me.", she said. "Me? Nah. I don't harm anyone, unless they harm me, or my friends. When I fight, I fight for my friends. Unless friends fight, then I make amends." He then paused and added, "At least I try." James paused again, thinking for a moment, "Unless, me and my friends are play fighting." Charlie looked at him, like he was crazy. "Stop giving me that look Charlie.", James said. He then turned toward the yellow pony. "What's your name?" "Um, Fl-Fluttershy.", Fluttershy said. James nodded with a smile on his face, then yawned. "Well, Fluttershy. I must thank you for saving my life. Go-od...N-nigh..t.". He said, patting her on the head. He soon fell asleep.
Waking up, both Charlie and James were going to go explore more, when they realize two things. One, they aren't in their house. And two, there were not one, but six ponies. All he could do was gulp in fear. Charlie was scared, but he didn't show it. A rainbow-maned pegasus flew up to get a close look at James. James, curious, lifted his hand and poked her in the snout. "Hey!", she yelled. She grabbed him by the shirt, holding up a hoof. "What's the big idea?" "Rainbow Dash, you shouldn't scare him. He's just curious.", a purple pony, a unicorn said. James was somehow too frightened, staring at her hoof. She let go of James' shirt, then hovered back.
All of a sudden, a pink pony popped up from out of nowhere."Gah!" he exclaimed. "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie. What's your name?", Pinkie said. "Pinkie, I don't think it...or he can talk." Both James and Pinkie gave her a deadpan look. "What's your name, are you from here, Where do you live?" Pinkie said. James thought for a moment, then said, "In order, James Rouse, No, I came from Earth, and I now live in a upside-down house in this forest. Right Charlie?", James said. "Right.", said Charlie. Everypony responded with jaw drops, except for Pinkie, who just hugged the dog.
"Weee, a talking dog.", She said, spinning around, hugging Charlie. James just chuckled at that, until Rainbow grabbed James again. "Since you can talk, answer my question. Why did you poke me in the nose?" "Simple, I wanted to see if you were real." James said. Rainbow just smiles, and said, "Well, I am unbelievable." All the ponies could do is groan. James just rolled his eyes, then shook his head, and chuckled.
"No, no, I didn't mean that. I mean that to see if you really were flying. We don't have winged horses or ponies--" "Pegasi.", Rainbow Dash corrected. "Pegasi, right. Sorry. We don't have Pegasi or... What other type of ponies do you have?", James said. The purple one looked at them, then back at James. "First, you need to explain how you got here." "Gladly." James exclaimed, getting out from under the sheets. He was excited, he was ready to be Earth's ambassador, he was feeling a slight breeze. He soon looked down and realize that he's in his underpants. "Yipes!", he exclaims, jumping behind the couch. "Charlie, quick! My pants.", James said. Charlie barked, causing James to get up partially from behind the couch. He saw that Charlie held his pants, then Charlie chucked them when nopony was looking. He started trying to get them on, when he realize something. He was dressing in front of manes. This caused him to freeze up faster than a deer in headlights. This in turn caused him to lose his balance and tip forward. 'Oh boy!', James thought, as he came down with a thud.
As he rode through the forest on his bike, the others followed behind. "How deep are yah' in?", the orange one said. James thought for a moment, then said, "I don't know. Not much farther.". Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash was starting to have problems. She couldn't figure out where north is. Twilight noticed that something was wrong with Rainbow Dash. "What's wrong, Rainbow Dash?" "I don't know where magnetic north is Twilight.", Rainbow Dash said. James stopped, and turned around. "What do you mean you don't know magnetic north?" "What's going on?", James said coming towards them. Twilight turned around to see that James had stopped. "Rainbow Dash can't sense magnetic north. Her eternal compass must be near some powerful magnet, or something." "That must mean we're getting near my home." he said with a smile. He then turns to Rainbow Dash. "Dudette, you need to follow me, while staying close to the ground. Otherwise, you'll be lost in this forest." "FOREVER!", Pinkie Pie exclaimed. James gave her a look that said, 'Really?'. "Yea, or until you can get away from the magnetic field and escape this forest.".
Rainbow understood, and landed on the ground. James then turned around and started riding again. They soon came upon two bent trees, producing a tunnel effect. Entering past some brush, and past the gate, they soon come across a unusual sight.
The yard was filled with scattered litter, some from planes, some from cars. The house was upside-down, aside from the front porch, garage, and the chimney. "Had to re-innovate the house, cause I didn't have a crane." James said. He opened the garage door, placing his bike into the garage. Then, he walked to the front porch, went to the front door, and unlocked the door.
Entering, they saw a living room set, a dining room, and a kitchen in the back. "Welcome to my home.", James exclaimed. "Relax, while I make sandwiches." 'At least the kind they would eat.', James thought to himself. He soon made six sandwiches just with lettuce, then distributed them with Apple Juice. He then sat down on the couch, next to Pinkie and Twilight. He ate a piece of toast with butter.
Rainbow Dash continued trying to fly, but it wouldn't work. She kept crashing into stuff. "It won't work Rainbow. You're in the magnetic field, so you'll be confused.", James said. Rainbow Dash looked at him, with a "What?" look. "Why did you do that?" "So I can stay hidden from any creature, and I don't have to worry about the animals.", James said, answering Dashie's question. Rainbow Dash thinks for a moment, before realizing that what he did was logical.
He then started telling his story of his life, from a point. He told them the story about his goverment (which he worked for), the strange island in a place no pony at all heard of, The Bermuda Triangle, or the strange place called WonderWorks. He even showed them a picture of the place.
He then added, "At least that's what it was before the incident." He then started to tell them of the experiment that Professor Wonder made them do. "His heart was in the right place" he would tell them, "But his head was missing a few screws loose." The ponies nodded, understanding the metaphor, except for Pinkie. "Wait, are you telling me he was a robot?" The five ponies just facehoofed, while James just laughed at what Pinkie just said.

Science Fun and a Mad Tea Party
Chapter 5: Science Fun and a Mad Tea Party.
Inside, there were three giant magnets, hooked up to machines, in which they were hooked up to a big machine. There were also motors, chemicals, and tools that were all on different tables.. There was a drawing table, littered with papers and blueprints. The desk had notebooks, Post-it notes, papers, pens, pencils, and a cup or two. There was a chalkboard with all types of writings, symbols, and equations on it. It also had papers pinned to it and Post-it notes stuck on certain parts.
"Welcome to my Laboratory. This is where I work on my latest inventions, and fix some of my old, broken ones." James said. Rainbow Dash looked around the place, then saw the giant magnets. "How powerful are these things?", she said. James looked at the giant magnets, then at Rainbow Dash. "Powerful enough to warp Physics into rubber." James said. Twilight Sparkle looked at him as if he was crazy. "That's impossible." she said. James looked at the machine, then back at her. "Improbable, would be the right word. And, well... Then again, so is talking ponies and different sub-species." James said. "Yes, but talking ponies make perfect sense." Twilight started. James stopped for a moment, then it occurred to him that Twilight was right.
James then walked back upstairs, heading for his room. The others soon followed back upstairs. "You should meet Princess Celestia. She needs to know about this." Twilight said. James seemed excited by this. "Oh? Good. Could you invite her over for a tea party?"
Princess Celestia was busy trying to work things out with the ponies. The pegasi reported a unexpected tornado that touched down near the edge of the forest. According to that said report, the entire twister looked like a column of wind that went straight up from the sky. She had the strangest feeling, as if there was a dimensional anomaly that was possibly that twister. She thought also that she was going mad.
Just when she thought everything was falling apart, all of a sudden, a letter flew in from Twilight Sparkle. She unfurled the letter, looking at it, only to find out that it wasn't Twilight Sparkle. It was instead the answer she was looking for. The answer to the maddening question she was looking for. She then closed up the letter, and turned to her sister. "Luna, I believe we have been invited to a tea party." "A tea party? I haven't been to one in a long time." Luna said. She thought it out for a second, then said in excitement, "Let's go!"
Flying high over the Everfree Forest, they soon felt the disturbance in the magnetic field. Thankfully, they had two internal compasses. So they knew where the true magnetic north was.
They soon saw the upside-down house, re-modified. They landed right in the middle of the clearing, seeing the mess left over from the twister. Both sisters looked at each other, then back at the odd place they've landed in. They looked around for a moment ,then they went up to the door, and knocked on it. The door opens to reveal a oddly dressed being. "Ah, you must be Princess Celestia and her sister, Princess Luna. Do come in.", James said. "Curiouser and curiouser?" Luna said. They soon entered the house, not noticing James snickering, as if they just told him a joke. James closed the door, followed by locking it. He soon ran to the table, jumping into a chair.
He was dressed in a suit vest, with a golden bowtie. He had a long overcoat, a pair of bright green converse shoes, and a hat with a label. It said, "10/6" on it.
"Come, come. Sit, sit.", James said. They both sat down at the table, as he started to prepare tea. "Half a cup?" "If you don't mind.", Celestia said. James nodded, then poured the tea. He then cut the cup with the tea in half. Both Celestia and Luna were amazed at the stranger's tricks. "Cream? Sugar?", he asked. Celestia nodded on the request, and he poured the creamer into the tea. He held out a sugarcube. "Two please.", she said, in amazement. He placed two into the "half-cup" and gave it to Celestia. "No creamer, two please.", Luna said. James nodded, placing two sugars in it, then gave the other "half-cup" to Luna. He then grabbed a teapot. "I usually like it any way. Sugar, creamer, or straight.", he said.
It was at this point, he poured out a saucer, teacup, tea, cream, and sugar. Then finally, the spoon. James smiled, looking at their surprised looks, then, after stirring the tea, he drank it. He then set the teacup and saucer down, then said, "Well, let's get down to business. Where shall we start?" he said, rubbing his hands.
Both sister looked at each other, then back at the hatter. "Do you know... Discord?", Celestia said. James was confused at the question. "Who?", James said. Luna's horn glowed, quickly skimming over James mind. She then said, "He doesn't know Discord. He's just doing this for our amusement.". James thought for a moment, then smacked his forehead, having a 'a duh!' moment. "If you guys think that I'm a threat, then you're mistaken.", he said. He then poured tea down his shirt, causing it to pour out of his sleeve. They were once again shocked. He then smirked, but it wasn't Discord's smirk. "First impressions are key to meeting a foreigner. Especially, with someone of royalty.", he said. He then sipped his tea, then spoke again. "This place is completely modified. The physics is all... rubber-y, because of super-powerful magnets underneath my home. The house is fixed so all rooms are right-side up, and my experiments are all in the basement.", he then sips his tea, finishing it completely, then he adds, "Questions?" He smiled at them, as if this was normal.
Both sisters' brains was trying to absorb the information. He then gets up, grabs a teapot, then cracks it like a egg, releasing the tea into the teacup. "Follow me.", he said. They nod, following the odd scientist. Heading downstairs, he types in his password, and the door opens. They soon were in surprise and awe at the laboratory. James went behind a device, hiding him to undress. He pulled a lever, flipped a switch, then pressed a button. Soon it started quickly undressing and redressing the scientist.
Both Celestia and Luna were surprised to see him dressed differently than before.
He was dressed in a pair of jeans, a pair of blue converse shoes were on his feet. He wore a button-up hawaiian shirt, a lab coat and a pair of aviation goggles were perched on top of his head.
"What species are you?", Luna asked. James thought for a moment, then said, "Well, the species I come from has many names. Scientists call us "Homo-sapiens". A male is called "man". A female is called "woman". But all around, we're called "humans"." This took Celestia and Luna by surprise, remembering a case in which a pony claimed about the truth about humans. 'Lyra, at least... I think that was her name-.' Celestia was soon interrupted in thought when a explosion happened.
"Whoops." he said, running towards the chemicals. He quickly poured a yellow liquid on the bubbling liquid in the glass cup. There was a pop, then it only started smoking. He placed a hat on his head, then he drank a sip of it. His eyes went wide, to which there was a lift as he took a deep breath, then a pop and the hat flew away.
He shook his head, then placed the stuff down. "Welcome to my Laboratory." James said. They looked around in awe, surprised at what he had. Turning around, they saw he was working on his chemistry, trying to get it to work. While boiling one, he stuck his hand in another. He then stuck it under a hot flame, catching it on fire. He did not scream out in pain, but instead, starting to write notes. Celestia and Luna looked surprised at what was happening. As soon as he was done with the notes, he then walked over to the two princesses. "Let's get started on the tour.", James said, then noticed the shocked looks on their faces. "What's wrong?", he asks. Luna, still in shock, pointed toward his right arm. He looked at it, then remembered. "Ahhh.", he said, in a relaxed realization, then blew out the flame, causing his arm to smoke. He then walked to the giant magnet machine.
Sitting on three separate machines were three giant magnets. One of them had a giant, four-bladed wisk, which spun rapidly. "This here regulates these giant electro-magnets. Thereby, it allows the house to hide in plain sight. It also warps reality a little bit, like rubber.", James said. He then shows them the Chemistry Lab. "Here, I test chemicals on me or my dog and partner, Charlie. From flameproof liquids, to transformation concoctions.", James said. James then grabbed the large beaker, full of stuff. "Luna, hold out your hoof.", he said. Luna looked at the scientist, then at her sister, who in turn nodded. She gulped, then held out her hoof. James rubbed her hoof and arm with the odd chemical. Then took a swig of alcohol, from his flask. They noticed it said, "Meh.", then turned their attention back as James lit a match. He then spat the alcohol, though the flame, causing Luna's arm to catch fire.
"Luna, don't panic.", James said. She started to, but then noticed that it didn't hurt. Celestia was intrigued, as well as Luna. James then pulled out a metal pole with three marshmallow on them, and held it over the flame. "The chemical appears to have removed the pain in your arm.", Celestia said. James just shook his head, then said, "Nope! Actually, it makes your sister, and anyone who puts this liquid on, Flame resistant.". He then pulled the marshmallows out and blew out the flame on Luna's arm. He pulled off one, then held out the stick, motioning to take one.
They did. He then held up the marshmallow, then said, "Here's to the future, may it be a bright one." The princess looked at eachother, then smiled, "Hear, hear." They clinked marshmallow, then ate them.

Chapter 6: New Guy in Town
Celestia then remembers the unusual twister that touched down a couple of days ago. "Professor,--" "Please, call me James." "Only if you start calling us by just our names.". James nodded, then said, "Deal.". She then continued. "Was that twister, you?", she asked. James just nodded, with a added, "Mmm-Hmm." He sipped his tea, then added, "Although it wasn't caused by me. I was just caught in it."
Both Celestia and Luna nodded. "The question now is, how do you prevent ponies from panicking. I'm not exactly..." "Non-monster looking.", Luna said. James nodded in agreement, then took a swig of his tea. That's when a idea struck him, like a brick coming through a window. "I have an idea guys."
"We need to head to Canterlot if this idea of yours is to work.", Celestia said. James nodded and said, "It'll work.". She stopped, then said, "Here, hop on my back.". James was nervous about this. "Are you sure?", he said. She nodded. He then was lifted up by her, then placed on her back.
She soon shot up at a high speed, that would make Rainbow Dash proud. As she flew across the sky, she expected James to be scared stiff by her tricks of feat. Instead, all it did was cause James to laugh in joy and excitement. "You fly as crazy as my brother." he said. He then started to flashback to when he went up in a jet with his brother. She was about to ask how, when she decided against it. She, instead, asked a different question. "How did your house end up upside-down, and were you involved with the unpredicted, and yet contained twister?" James snapped out of it. "What?" he said. She repeated the question. "It's a long story, that would take up several chapters in a story.", James replied. "We've got a long way to get to Canterlot."
15 minutes Later...
She then landed at the gates of the castle. Celestia and James both entered the castle, to which James just whistled at how big it was. He then followed Celestia to her room with the balcony. "So, why are we here?", James said. She looked over the balcony, seeing the ponies gathering today, due to Princess Luna teleporting ahead. She alerted them of Princess Celestia making an announcement.
"I'm going to introduce you to Equestria. So they don't fear you, or mistake you for a monster. That was the plan, right?" she said. James nodded, then Celestia said,"Well, where else are we going to introduce you?" "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get this over with." He said with excitement. He clapped his hands together, then started rubbing them again. She nodded, then stepped out.
"Ponies of Equestria, here me.", she said. All the ponies, stopped talking, including the press. "I'm here to introduce a new being that has ended up in Equestria. His name is James.", she said, motioning him to come out. He did so, hearing the audible gasp from them. "Please do not be afraid. He is merely harmless." "Mostly harmless.", James said. Celestia looked at him, then turned back toward them. "Why don't I hand the spotlight over to him." "But Princess, how can you do that? Light isn't physical, this flashlight is though.", he said. Nobody laughed at the odd joke. "Sheesh, tough crowd.", he said. He then continued with his speech.
"Equestria! I have not come in hostility, but in peace and good..stuff. I am not evil, and will help it out in any way I can.", James said. Soon, the media asking questions. He pointed at one. "When you mean 'Mostly Harmless', you mean...?" "I am willing to fight, yet I wouldn't hurt people-sorry, ponies on purpose, or for my pleasure."

Chapter 7: Roommates
James smiled, glad he was back, as well as glad that Celestia had told him about how they travel long distances. He then headed out the door. As he was getting out of the station, he heard a heated argument. "I'm telling you, that's how they moved long distances. With a combustion engine." Hearing that, he stopped dead in his tracks. 'I presumed nopony knew about combustion engines. Heh, nopony.' he thought. He turned around to see two ponies fighting. One was mint colored, and the other was cream colored. "Well, that experimental combustion engine blew up my apartment. Now we need a place to stay." the cream-colored one said. Just when they were about to split, they tripped, with their tails tangled in a knot.
James ran over to help the two. "You guys alright?" he said, untying the tail knot. "Yea, I'm- *Gasp*!" She stopped in mid-sentence, surprised at James. For it proved her friend right. "Lyra?" "Hm?" "Lyra?" "What Bon-Bon? Wh-." she stopped in mid-sentence, looking at the human. "Lyra, I don't think those were just myths." Bon-Bon said. Lyra's only response was to nod. "You two look like you need a place to stay." James said. They both nodded. He smiled, then said, "Tell you what, I've got just the perfect place. You don't think you could give me a tour of the place do you?"
Both Lyra and Bon-bon looked at eachother, then at the human standing before them. Five minutes later they started onto their tour. They showed him the theater, the bakery, and the local market. They soon led him back to their house to pack, then they left with him as they headed for their new home
As they were walking though the woods, James started to mumble a poem that he was reminded of. "Twas' brilling and the slithy toves, Did gyre and gimble in the wabe, All mimsy were the borogroves, and the mome raths outgrabe..." Meanwhile, Lyra was looking at him, trying to grasp that a actual human was here in Equestria. Bon-Bon was trying to connect things to this human. They soon came across trees that bent in a unnatural effect, which stopped at some brush.
"Welcome to my home.", he said, moving the brush. Both ponies were amazed to see a house that was on it's head. The place was littered with artifacts from Earth. They soon stepped up to a porch. On it, a rocking chair continued to rock, while a apple and a glass of water were floating above a tabletop. The water jumped out of the water, looping around, until it landed back in the glass. James finally unlocked the door, and allowed them to enter first. He then locked the door, out of habit. Looking around, she felt as though she was living the dream. James smiled at Lyra's reaction to him and the place. "Is it naturally... upside-down?", Bon-Bon asked. "No, actually, it's right-side up, like most houses here in Equestria.", Lyra said, in excitement. Bon-Bon gave Lyra a deadpan look, while James just chuckled, and shook his head. "No, it was right-side up, until a twister dropped it on it's head. Had to re-innovate the rooms to make them right-side up. Follow me.", he said, walking up the rickety stairs.
Both ponies went up the stairs to where they stopped at a room. He opened the door, only to find it full of boxes. "Whoops! Forgot that this is being used as a storage place.", he said. He then walked straight to the room next door. He opened it, then said, "This will be your room.", James said. Inside was a nice room with a radio on the floor between two lamp tables. It also had two separate beds. "Oh, and there may be some explosions, don't worry. It's just me doing a experiment."
"So enjoy!" James said, then left, leaving the two alone. They looked at eachother, then started to unpack. "Isn't this exciting Bon-bon?" Lyra said, excited by the new presence of a human. Bon-bon nodded, still in some kind of shock. "I thought humans were just some myth." she said. She then realized that her life wasn't going to be the same again.
The Next Day...
All of a sudden, they heard and felt a explosion happen. Smoke blasted through the cracks between the door. Soon, James came out, smoking, charted, and partially on fire. "What happened? Another experiment explode in your face?" "Ha, ha. Very funny, Charlie. Next you'll be telling me I'm so close, that I'm on fire.", James said. He looked at his sleeve, realizing what he just said. "Ok, I walked right into that one.", James said. Charlie started laughing, and soon Lyra and Bon-Bon joined in. After blowing out the flame on his sleeve, he started to laugh.
After brushing himself off, he started to make breakfast. He fried Hay Bacon Strips, while frying actual bacon. James then scrambled eggs, adding salt and pepper. Pouring out Oj, he poured himself a cup of coffee. He then served everyone their food. Lyra and Bon-Bon ate Hay bacon strips, and James ate actual bacon strips. All four was eating cheese eggs (Charlie being the fourth one). Charlie was also eating his dog food. After breakfast, James rinsed off the cast-iron skillet, and stuck the dishes into the dishwater. He then said, "How about I show you both my lab?". Both Lyra and Bon-Bon nodded.
He then motioned for them to follow him down. They did. He led them down the stairs to a door that had a sign on it. The sign said, 'Rouse Labs', on it. He then stuck his thumb on it. "Fingerprint Scanner.", he said to them, pointing at the odd device attached to the doorframe. It said, "WARNING! PASSWORD REQUIRED.", in a robotic voice. James was surprised, but not unprepared. He opened up the bottom half, revealing a keypad. He soon typed in the keyed-in password, causing the door to be opened. "Welcome to the Lab.", James said. Lyra and Bon-Bon looked around seeing the amazing inventions. James smiled at the amazed daze of both ponies. "Wanna help me do some experiments?". Both ponies nodded mindlessly at James' offer

Chapter 8: Twilight & Science
The front door opens to reveal Twilight Sparkle, who was looking over a letter. "James, Princess Celestia...", she stopped in mid-sentence, staring at both James'. Future James laughed at Twilight's reaction. "Good luck.", James said, starting to glow. "You'll need it.", he said. He then disappeared completely. James started sipping on his coffee, then ate his scrambled eggs. Twilight was still in a shocked state. Finally, she something. "What?!" she said. James just shrugged, finished his eggs, then went down to the lab. Twilight soon followed.
Twilight was surprised by two James' in the same place. It was just like that time she traveled back in time to tell herself to relax. In reality, by doing that, she caused herself to panic. She shook herself of the odd memory, and went down to the lab to talk to James. James was readjusting the electro-magnetic device. "James, we need to go see Princess Celestia.", Twilight said, holding a piece of paper. James grabbed the piece of paper, looking it over. He then got up and left the lab, with Twilight following behind him.
Charlie was lying in bed, watching the new roommates. James then came out and went to grab the keys. Charlie knew what that meant. "You coming?" "Yes, yes I am.", Charlie said. "And don't forget about me.", Twilight said. James nodded, then stepped into the garage. Lyra and Bon-Bon both looked into the garage to see a orange VW Beetle. Bon-Bon's jaw dropped, while Lyra had a look of excitement.
"You...have....a CAR?!", Lyra exclaimed. James nodded, then remembered something, "Don't you remember riding it?" James said. Lyra thought for a moment, then said, "No." James thought about it for a moment, then shrugged. He then said, "Well, right now it's just me and Twilight heading to Canterlot. Maybe next time."
Lyra smiled at the thought of her and Bon-Bon riding a horseless carriage. James turned the engine on, then buckled his seat. Then did the same for Twilight. He then drove off, closing the garage door. As the car drove, James realized something. Gas. He looked at his gas gauge, seeing that it was almost empty. Heading into Ponyville, James stopped at Applejack's stand. "Howdy partn'r. Watch'a doin'?", she said.
Meanwhile, in another universe, Isabella felt as if somebody used her line, but then realized that it was in a different accent, and went back to reading a book.
"Do you have a tavern in this town Applejack?" "Fraid not, James.", Applejack said. James was upset. "But, I do have a bottle of Apple Cider.", she said. James looked at her, in which she pulled out a bottle. She poured a shot of it, then gave it to James. James picked it up, sniffing it. He smiled, smelling the alcohol come from the glass. He then drank it. Satisfied, he smiles, then asks, "Do you have a six pack?" Applejack nodded, then pulled out a open crate with a wooden handle and six bottles of cider. "15 bits.", she said. "Wait a minute, doesn't it cost 10 bits?"
"Extra 5 bits for the crate, Twi." Applejack said. James nodded, then said, "Deal!" He paid, then got out of the car, and started pouring alcohol into the gas tank. Applejack was confused as well as Twilight. Applejack then gave James a gesture of confusion. "Oh, right. This is fuel for my car.", he said. Applejack nodded, as he poured in half the bottle. "That should be sufficient for Canterlot and back." he said, as he closed the fuel tank and headed for the driver's seat, started it up, and drove it off.
"This car used to have a gas-powered engine, when I discovered another fuel source. What is something we have loads of, but never use as fuel for our cars?". Twilight was about to answer when James answered for her. "Alcohol! Loads of it, but is never used as a actual fuel source for the car. So I reinvented the engine, and...", James paused, then in a Italian accent, said, "Voliá, she'sa working like-a new.". Twilight gave him a 'What?' look.
"Hey, at least I didn't reinvent the wheel. *Buh-dum bum crash*". James smiled at his little joke, as they soon came upon Canterlot. Driving though, James saw a lot of surprised faces as he drove by. "You'd think they've never seen a carriage.", James said. Twilight smiled, then said, "They have. They've just never seen a horseless carriage.". Both James and Twilight started driving, when James stopped. He parked it, turned the engines off. "We'll need to walk the rest of the way there.", James said. "Why?", Twilight asked. James placed signs on the car, then poured 'toxic' plastic bottles in the back, and placed several cans of bug spray in the front.
Soon, it looked like a exterminator car. The metal roof unfolded from the car, turning the convertible into a normal beetle VW. James then rolled up both window, and locked the car. "So we don't have ponies looking at the odd carriage, and thinking they can steal it.", James said.
The doors to the Throne Room opened, reviling Celestia and Luna in their seats. "Greetings, Twilight and James.", Celestia said. "Greetings, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.", Twilight said. James just cursied, then said, "HOLA!". This took Twilight by surprised, completely. But both pony princesses were not completely surprised. "That means 'Hello', in Spanish.", he said. She nodded, then got up. "The reason why I brought both of you here is because you are needed for something important." "We want both of you to be Equestria's Scientific Advisories.", Princess Luna said. James nodded. "No problemo, dudettes.", James said. Twilight just facehoofed. "My car, the shrink ray, flameproof liquid, those were my inventions. Well, except for the car. I just reinvented the engine.", James said. Princess Celestia nodded, then said, "That is all.". Both nodded, then left. "Hey Twilight, race you to the car."
25 minutes later...
He then dropped a Alka-Seltzer tablet causing the chemical to shoot out sparks. Soon, it settled, glowing a eerie green. "I hope this works.", James said. He then drank it, hoping that it would do something. He then had an idea. "Twi, I need you to kick my spine so it'll snap, then lift me up and shake me.", James said. He thought of something and before Twilight said something, he added, "Trust me.".
Twilight did just like Applejack does to trees, and bucked hard. So hard, he felt a painful, yet a good pain in his back... last week. She then used her telekinesis on James, shaking him like a can of paint. He soon started to glow like a glow stick. While she stood there in shock, he smiled, looking over himself. He then started writing down information on his notes. He then turned toward her.
He then had an idea. "How would you like to help me in some experiments?", he said. She becomes nervous at the idea, imagining herself with two heads. "I-I don't know", she said. "Don't worry, it's not permanent. In fact...". He grabbed a vile, drinking in down. He then stopped glowing. "You shouldn't worry, they're mostly harmless." "Ok, t-that... Mostly HARMLESS?!", Twilight exclaimed. "Well, they don't kill anyone or cause internal damage.", James said with a shrug.
Twilight thought for a moment, then said, "Ok, as long as it doesn't kill me." James nodded, then shook her hoof.

Chapter 9: Roommates Pt. 2
James decided that he needed two more roommates for his house. He thought he could find the right friends in the market, where he could mix and mingle. Also, he needed to get some groceries for his house.
Suddenly, James slipped on a banana peel, ramming into two ponies. Getting up, he noticed how strange-looking both ponies looked.
One looked like a rocker, of sorts with her blue electric hair, and her sunglasses. The other looked refined and classy wearing a bowtie and had neat hair. Both ponies were surprised by the odd person, not knowing what to do. *Ahem!* They turned around to see Carrot Top standing over them, mad. James wondered why, until he saw the damage. "Heh, heh... Oops. Hey Carrot Top, how's it going?", James said. She gave James a deadpan look. He started rubbing the back of his neck, then said, "Look, I'm a little short on bits. Maybe you can bring it over to my house, and I can-", she held out a hoof, with a look that meant business. "Yea, I thought not.", he said.
He dug through his pocket, only to find 15 bits left. "Will this work?", he said, holding out his hands. She shook her head, then whistled for the police. That's when something unexpected happened, as both rocker and classy ponies added 10 extra bits. "Will this pay for the gentleman's damage?" "If that isn't enough, here some more." Carrot Top was surprised by this. She had no idea what to do. James was surprised as well, but didn't look a gift horse in the mouth.
"Alright, what's going on?" a officer pony said. James then said, "Nothing officer. Just paying for the damages I accidentally caused to Miss Carrot Top's cart." He then turns to Carrot Top, and adds, "Right, Carrot Top?". She snaps out of it, then says, "Right! Uh...Thanks for doing that." "It was the right thing to do. What was I supposed to do, a hit and run? I think not." James said. He then walks off, heading home with his groceries. The two follow him.
James snaps his fingers, remembering something then turns around, only to face the same ponies that helped him before. "Thanks for the help... Um? I'm sorry I didn't catch your names?" James asked. "My name is Octavia, and this is-" "DJ-PON3, but when I'm not at the club everyone calls me Vinyl Scratch." Vinyl said. James nodded, putting them under friends in his mind, then asked, "You two look troubled. Is there a problem?". Both looked at each other, then Octavia said, "We got kicked out of our old home, and we can't find a place to stay." "You think you can help us?" Vinyl said. James thinks for a moment. Suddenly, he had an idea. "Girls, I think we can come to a brilliant solution." he said. Five minutes later, Octavia and Vinyl were riding in his car home.
Lyra and Bon-bon were making Chocolate Chip Cookies, when James came in. Then, it was followed by Octavia and Vinyl coming in. "This is my house, and where you'll be staying." James said. Octavia and Vinyl looked around the house, surprised by the odd inventions. They soon came across, Lyra and Bon-bon. "Hey you crazy dudettes, I was wondering what happened to you two." Vinyl said. Lyra smiled, then said, "Well, I was working on a combustion engine for a horseless carriage when it exploded." "So, you're moving in here aren't you?" Bon-bon said.
He then walked them upstairs, showing them to their room. They saw two beds, and several things that wasn't theirs. "Oops, sorry for the mess.", he said. He pressed a button, causing robots to quickly clean up the mess. Then, he re-showed the room. They were surprised at what just happened. "I'll leave you to unpack." James said.
Five Minutes Later...
They looked through the door to see James playing with one of his inventions. It was a violin that had a long neck, and was held like one, except it wasn't just any guitar.

In my room I'd practice late, they'd leave me alone. My mother said, "You're nothing yet, to make the folks write home."
And so I'd dream a bass will join me, and fill the bottom in. And maybe now some lead guitar so it would not sound so thin. I need some drums to set the beat and help me keep in time. And way back in the distance, a horn would sound so fine.
*Ghostly band floated around him, playing the song. They were surprised, but continued to listen to his tune.*

But I know I found my future, so I will persevere and hold onto my dream of making music to their ears.

Chapter 10: Something's Fishy
'At least he's careful not to step on them', she thought. He then had a look, like he had something, and then bent over. He pulled out a carrot, setting it down on the ground, then pulled off his headphones and pressed his ear to the ground. It sounded like something unusual. However, before he could figure out anything, a orange hoof appeared in front of his face.
He followed the hoof all the way to the source. He then smiled a 'Oops' smile. As he sat up, a gopher popped up from the hole where the carrot was. James grabbed it, looking it over. He quickly documented it in a nature journal, then stood up. He then threw the gopher through the tree, tossing it in between the branches, like a quarterback tossing a football through a goalpost. It landed in the bushes, safe from harm.
"It's good!", James exclaimed, holding his arms up like a referee. Carrot Top was confused about this. She slowly backed off, before she quickly ran back inside to call the police, but when she checked the window, he was gone. The carrot was back in the ground, as if it never happened.
A few hours later...
She however wasn't paying attention and hit something. Looking up, she saw him again with his head in a puddle. That's when it surprised her. 'How can you have your entire head inside a inch-deep puddle?', she thought. Soon, a police officer walked up to James.
He then tapped him on the shoulder. James pulled his head out of the puddle, revealing that he had a scuba mask. He pulled up the mask, and removed the snorkel from his mouth. "Yes, can I help you?", James asked. Carrot smirked a little, knowing he was going to get his comeuppance. "Why are you sticking your head in a puddle? And on top of that, How?", the officer said. James smiled, then said, "I'm doing a science experiment. I really can't get into a lot of detail, because... well. It's complicated.". The cop nodded in reply to what he said. James then placed the mask and snorkel on, dunking his head back in.
A thought occurred to the officer, and he tapped on James' butt, to which he stuck his head out. "Do you have a permit?" he said. James reached into his jacket, then pulled out his wallet, and showed him his ID and his badge. "Oh, you're a science officer. Carry on." the officer said. James nodded, then stuck his head in again.
Carrot was in shock, surprised by what the cop wasn't doing. "You aren't going to arrest him?", she asked. "No. He's allowed to study certain things. This is one of them." he said, "Plus he has a offical Science Officer badge given to him by Celestia herself." That's when James pulled his head out, then went to his car and opened the trunk. "But, he's a nuisance to society and always causes havoc." "Do not!", James exclaimed. "Havoc sometimes happens by itself." he said, coming back with a bucket. "Haven't you noticed?" Carrot shook her head. "No, then start noticing." he said. James then placed his arms into the puddle, then his head.
Five minutes later, he pulled out a bucket full of water. He quickly ran back to his car, buckling the bucket into the seat, then himself. He then drove off, heading straight for home. Carrot swore that she saw a flipper, as he drove away.
The door to the garage unlocked, allowing James to go through into his living room. James then dumped the bucket full of water into the fish tank. James then ran to the intercom system, and said, "Guys, a meeting in the living room. I want to show you guys my discovery." He said, then he went to get some more water for them. James then smiled as he looked over the fish. They looked wondrous and wondered what could've happened to cause this. Suddenly, he snapped out of it as he heard his roommates coming down. He quickly grabbed the cover for the tank (in case visitors didn't like what they were seeing, or hiding something from them) and covered it.
Vinyl, Octavia, Lyra, and Bon-Bon all went down to see what James was doing. Twilight came up from the basement, and sat down on the couch. Soon, everyone was in one place, and James was ready to surprise them. "Mares of all kinds, prepare to be surprised as I show you something that I found in a puddle. That puddle must've led to a freshwater source, for these fish are still alive in this tank.", he said. He grabbed the sheet, and smiled at them. "Behold!", he exclaimed, removing the sheet. They all gasped in shock except James who had seen it before, for in the tank was two seahorses, a octopus, and and a fish. Except that, it looked like each of them. Lyra walked up to see a mint-green seahorse that looked like her. She looked at it and said, "Look! I'm a seapony." Everyone looked at James, in which he had a beaming smile on his face.
Twilight looked at the creatures, amazed at how they looked. "What caused this?", Twilight said. James stood next to Twilight, looking at the creatures. "Maybe it was Discord's leftover chaos that made these creatures." he said. Twilight was confused, and asked, "How?" James thought this out for a moment, then answered, "Well, before Celestia was ruler, Discord made chaos throughout Equestria. Therefore, he made items that would probably last throughout time, but wouldn't be detected by Celestia herself. This would be a example." "*SPLASH!* Sounds like a crazy theory.". James looked at Lyra. "Why thank you Lyra. That was nice of you to say.", James said. "I didn't say that.", Lyra said. James and Twilight were confused. "Then who-" "I did!", a mint green seahorse said. Everypony was surprised by the seapony talking, even James.
"Well, I'll be. A talking seapony. Then again, I should be used to this by now.", James said. He then had an idea. Grabbing the bucket, he scooped up Lyra Seapony and started carrying her to the lab. "Bring the others as well.", James said, running down to the lab. Twilight lifted the three creatures out of the tank, and placed them inside a fishbowl. She and the others soon follow him, with her carrying the sea creatures. Soon, he placed the seapony down on the counter, then grabbed a scanner.
He waved it over Lyra, surprised at the results. "This is amazing. According to this scanner, this WAS from Discord. But not directly." James said. Twilight looked at the creatures that was swimming around. "Well then, what caused them to be that way?". James shrugged as he looked over the seapony. "I can tell you my theory." he said, not taking his eyes off the creature. Twilight nodded, wanting to hear it. "Discord could've altered the four ponies, effecting their DNA on a Chaotic scale. As soon as he was defeated, that leftover chaotic DNA caused a mutation with a sea creature during rain. That DNA mutated and evolved into a sea version of them.", he finished, emphasizing at Lyra Seapony.
Twilight nodded at this new breakthrough as James wrote down notes on the new info. He then placed the creature into a computer laser scanner. As it watched, the computer was able to X-ray the seapony. He soon started sketching out the details, then smiled at his handiwork. "Twilight, send a message to Princess Celestia, ASAP!", James said. Twilight nodded, smiling. Then, both brainiacs started squealing like little girls.
Princess Celestia landed in the yard of James' house. Looking at the unusual sights, which she was still getting used to, she went to the door and was about to knock, when, "Celestia, good to see you, Princess." James said, taking her by surprise. "*AHEM!* Yes, well. When I heard word of you and Twilight Sparkle's discovery, I came as soon as she sent it." Celestia said. James was surprised by the unexpected event, then showed her in. After closing the door, James then showed Celestia down to the lab.
There, he explained his theory on Discord, and how he may have done it. Celestia was so surprised, that she had to sit down in awe. "Discord's magic may have affected the natural environment, thereby creating as I like to call, Natural Chaos. We can't destroy it, it's a chaotic after effect of Discord's chaotic reign." he explained, "Thus, it soon became integrated with the entire planet." Celestia just shook her head, then said, "Did he create anything else?" James thought for a moment, then pulled out a preserved plant in a bag. "Not that I know of,", he said, "But what do you make of this?". Princess Celestia looked at the bag he was holding, then said, "Is that Poison Joke?" James looked at the bag, curious about the flower, then back at Celestia. "I have no idea.", he said with a smile.

Chapter 11: Experiments with Poison Joke
Soon, the door to the basement lab opened, revealing a smoking James, all charted and black. She was about to talk to him when she saw something she didn't expect. What she didn't expect was Princess Celestia, stumbling out of the lab, all black and charted. "Wow! What a bang.", she said. When she said 'wow', smoke came out of her mouth which caused Twilight's jaw to drop. James laughed at the smoking Celestia, then started laughing harder at Twilight's reaction. Soon, the Princess started to join in James' laughter. Then it died down, only for them to see themselves as a mess, causing both of them to start busting out in laughter again.
"What is going on here? I leave you here for nine hours, only to find you and the Princess in a tizzy." Twilight asked, trying not to laugh. James giggled, then said, "I showed Princess the strange specimens, then I showed her the plant sample I got on my first day here. She stayed over to look over it. The next day...*snicker*...we test the effects of the flower with Nitroglycerin, and... Wait for it! It literally blew up in our face." he said. He then started laughing again, followed by Celestia. But soon, it faded away. "I'll tell you something, nobody has treated me like a normal pony before.", she said. James smiled, then said, "No problem, Princess. Let's do this again soon.", he said. She shook herself off, then nodded in agreement. "Yes, we should.", she said. She then teleported.
James smiled at the memory, then turned toward Twilight, who was still in shock. "What?", he said. Twilight started to speak gibberish, then finally said, "WHAT!". James smiled, then said, "There's no need to curse Twilight.". He then left down the stairs, laughing still. Twilight followed, still in shock.
Going down to the lab, James opened the door. He entered, followed by Twilight Sparkle. She still wasn't used to the laboratory. She went and sat down on a stool. "So, let's get started on this experiment.", he said. "Why? Why did you act like the Princess was a friend?". James turned toward the frightened Twilight. "Twilight, my dear friend.", he said, "If you were royal, and you've been around for...". James stopped trying to think, when Twilight said, "1000 years." "Exactly. If you were around for at least that long, wouldn't you be tired of being treated like royalty? I would, and I'm not even royal.". Twilight thought for a moment, then realized he's right. As she was thinking, James pulled out a jar with a flower in it.
Twilight snapped out of it, when the jar was smacked on the counter. It wasn't cracked or anything, but she could make out what it was. "Is that-?" "Yes, it is. It is Poison Joke." he said, "Today, we're going to be experimenting with it." Twilight gulped, as she looked between the Poison Joke, and him. He then smiled as he placed on green latex gloves. Then, he opened the jar, pulling out the flower. He then set it onto the scanner. As it scanned the plant, Twilight looked at James, then stared at the monitor. It soon started spitting out information on the plant.
"This is amazing! It's exactly like I theorized. Natural made chaos, or 'Natural Chaos' to put it simply." he said, surprised. Twilight looked at the information that was it was telling them. She looked at the DNA strand that showed that it had a different type of chaos like he said. James smiled as he pulled out the flower from the scanner, then activated the Bunsen burner. He then placed a piece of the flower into the beaker full of water. As it started to break down, it turned into a different shade of blue. "Let's test the effects of this flower." he said, with a smile.
Twilight had no clue what was going to happen next. Funny thing, neither did James.
An Hour Later...
After Vinyl let the girls in, she pointed them to the downstairs lab. Downstairs the manes went, and entered the lab. They soon spotted him, lying on a cot, was the scientist sleeping with a hat on his face. Pinkie then nudged him with her hoof, which caused James to mumble something, then slightly shifted. Pinkie took a deep, DEEP, breath, then yelled, "WAKE UP!"
It startled everyone and caused James' hat to hop once, except for James. He soon woke up, five seconds after Pinkie yelled. "Was that really needed?" he said, calmly, slowly getting up. Pinkie just shrugged, then Fluttershy said, "Um, where is Twilight?". That's when James removed the hat off his face, revealing that he looked more animated. Placing the hat onto his head, he looked at his nose to see a small purple unicorn, sleeping on his nose. James chuckled, then slid Twilight onto his finger. She soon woke up with a squeak.
He then placed her onto the countertop as he got a quick scan. Meanwhile, the five other ponies thought that they were still dreaming. The only explanation that could explain why they were like this, was because of the infamous Poison Joke. Their fears (kinda a fear) were confirmed by a blue flower sitting in a jar. "Hold on guys, I've got a few things to finish." he said. James soon started laughing, amazed by the results. But then, he was pulled by a invisible force, toward the other five. Meanwhile, James cursed himself for using a certain formula on a certain unicorn.
At the same time, Twilight felt insignificant next to the rest of her friends. They were about to take some painful drastic measures, when Twilight yelled, "STOP!" Everyone turned toward the source of the sound, taken by surprise by the yell. Even James was surprised by what just happened. Rarity suddenly let go of him, causing him to land flat on his face.
"Don't attack him. He was just experimenting with the flower, and I decided to get involved as well. If James thought that it was poisonous and dangerous, he would test it on himself. He knew that this plant isn't a deadly poison." she said James got himself off, then nodded. "That's right. From what Princess Celestia, and Twilight told me. It's just a natural prank to us. And..." he paused, "It's also a self-defense mechanism for it. Like when a snake was threatened, it would bite with venom in its fangs.", he said. As he talked he grew fangs, and had snake-like eyes. He hissed, like a snake, causing Fluttershy to hide behind Applejack. James was curious as to why that happened, when he reached toward his mouth and felt the fang. "Yipe!" he said, then quickly sped off and hid under the pillow on his cot. Soon, the pillow shook in fear, and two eyes peaked out.
Soon he climbed out from underneath his pillow, then said, "Anyways, she wanted to join in on this experiment. She also knew that I was making a antidote, with help from Zecora.", he said. Twilight looked at James, then said, "You didn't get a cure from Zecora.", she said. James thought for a moment, then realization hit him. Five seconds later, a noise was heard.
"James, it's crazy to live in here. It's not natural.", Applejack said. Everyone followed James, until he came to a complete stop. He then turned toward them. "What's so unnatural about the Everfree?", James said. The ponies looked at each other, then Fluttershy said, "Animals take care of themselves..." "Plants gro' on their own..." "And clouds move..." "All on their own.", they finally finished. James didn't seemed impressed, then he started acting scared. "Oh no! It'll almost be... exactly the same as before. C'mon guys, you're telling me the reason is because it's magically unnatural and it's unpredictable?" he said. They nodded.
James chuckled, then said, "Welcome to Earth.". He soon started up on the trip again. That's when they were confused, and started following James again. "What exactly do you mean by that?" Rainbow Dash said. "Look guys, the Everfree may seem unnatural to you, but back on Earth it's a everyday occurrence. Well, aside from most creatures, and some of the plant life.", he said, "But other then that, it's a basic life on Earth."
They soon came up to a tree, with a black and white striped zebra. She was watering her garden, when she looked up at her friends and smiled. "Hello, friends of Twilight. What brings you to my nice life?" Zecora said. James smiled, then stepped forward. "Hello, my name is James. You must be Zecora. I've heard some good stuff about you.", he said, grabbing her hoof and shaking it like a handshake. Zecora was surprised, and went into a state of shock. James, realizing this, tells them to go inside while he grabs her, and brings her inside.
He sets her down, then quickly starts making a tea from the herbs. He then makes a cup of tea, and hands it to her. She soon smells the tea and it snaps her back to her senses. He smiles as she grasps the teacup and starts drinking. "You alright?", James said. She looked at him, then did a spit-take at him. He then slowly wiped the tea off his face. "I'll take that as a no" he said. Zecora was amazed that the creature was civilized like this. "Who are you that is friendly in my house? You are not a pony, nor a mouse." James smiled, as he heard the Zecora talk. "James Rouse is my name." he said with a bow, "And science is my game."
He then walked to her, then leaned on the table. "Now, I hear that you have a cure for Poison Joke. Is that true?" he said out of curiousity
Five minutes later...
James thought for a moment, then shrugged. He then pulled Twilight off his shoulder and dropped her into the drink. Ten seconds later, she came out full sized. James then joined in by doing a cannonball, soaking everyone around him. He soon came out looking normal, as he pulled out a brush and comically scrubbed himself down. "Thank you. You know, I didn't get your name, what is it?" he asked. "Zecora is my name, and herbs and potions are my game." she said. James knew that this was going to be the beginnings of some odd things. He smiled as he looked around, knowing all the new friends in this new world.
Author's Note
This is the last complete chapter I worked on, before coming here on FIMFiction.net. Next, I'll be working on my story every so often. About two days out of the week and possibly the weekend. There are so many possibilities with my OC and this idea of a scientific human with weird science experiments. Hopefully, you guys will be able to stay with me for these next few chapters.

Chapter 12: Hands
The last thing she remembered was that the drink tasted like blueberries. Then, she slipped into unconsiousness.
Bon-Bon felt different than before, like she was in some type of pain. 'What happened? Oh yeah. The party... I was there... I got DRUNK!' Realization hit her that she got drunk, and whenever she got drunk, she did stupid things. "Why was I talked into doing that party with her.
It had been a week since James landed in Equestria. The only thing that was different in her life was the odd creature that Lyra had talked about since she was a little filly. She started to rub her head, feeling her hand touch her head and rub it.
Wait?
'Let's see. Head, check. Tail, check. Frontal hooves...um.' She opened her eyes to see that she wasn't normal. She still had fur all over her body, and she still have hooves, but now her body had changed. Her body had gone from pony, to...what was it. "Oh man, James is going to so kill me." Bon-Bon said.
Speak of the devil, he came throught the lab door in a slight daze. "Mornin' Bon-Bon." he mumbled. He then suddenly stopped and turned slowly toward her. She smiled a shy-ish smile, as if to say 'Oops'. James grabbed a glass filled with water, and started to drink... only to spit it out in surprise. "WHAT?" he exclaimed. "Hi James, yeah... there's a funny story with this." she said.
Five Minutes , and One Shirt Later...
"Did you not read the label? Did I not tell you what you shouldn't do?" he said. Bon-Bon started to remember, but James said it anyways. "Don't eat or drink anything from my fridge down in the lab. There could be something that could've turned you into a human perminately." She winced at the thought of being human, when she realized that she didn't know what human females looked like. "Thankfully, the chemical you drank has the effect of lasting for three days." he said with a sigh. Bon-bon was shocked that it would take that long to return back to normal. "Can't you give me a chemical that will reverse the effects?" She said. James just shook his head, then said, "I'm sorry Bon-Bon, the chemical was never ment to be permimate, and since you touched something that wasn't yours...consider this a punishment." He then got up and headed for his lab, exclaiming, "Now excuse me, I need to work on the magnets."
Bon-Bon sat there in shock on the couch in their living room, staring at their TV...only it was turned off. Lyra came up, staring at Bon-Bon. She didn't noticed Lyra, and so she snuck in closer. No response. So Lyra decided to try to get her attention the way she usually did.
"Hi Bon-Bon!"
Bon-bon jumped up a moment, seeing who was talking to her. She soon realized who it was, which scared her. 'The first pony to see me, and it happens to be hand happy Lyra.' Bon-Bon thought.
Ever since James came to Equestria, Lyra became the face as "The Unicorn Who was Right About Humans". James started writing information on humans (minus some of the secrets that James didn't want to tell). Bon-Bon also knew James as "The Weird Creature that Lived in the Upside-Down House". But soon, she started to warm up to the unusual Scientist. He didn't usually keep most of his experiments, and he was a really great cook. What surprised her was when James announced to his roommates that he was a omnivore. He then added the "I don't eat any intelligent creature" quote, saying that "It would be like eating a human, and honestly I don't eat humans. Bleh!"
Twilight did visit him, due to the fact that he was a unusual creature from another dimension... quite possibly, a Alternate Equestria, or a Alternate Earth as he would call it. He told his story about Earth to his friends, and some of his strange ideas that were pretty weird to both ponies and humans. Of course just his roommates and his family knew about his strange experiment ideas. Only his friends though knew of his unusual experiments in Equestria.
"So let me get this straight," Lyra said, pacing the floor. "James, who was working on some weird formula, kept it in his fridge in the lab?" Bon- bon nodded. "And you drank this concoction... three time a day?" she said. Bon-bon nodded again. "And now he's punishing you for drinking it, by letting the concoction in your body wear off in your body?" Bon-bon was nodding, while kinda upset.
Lyra then got on Bon-bon's legs, getting into Bon-bon's face. "Where can I get some?" she said, excitedly. Lyra's expression went from upset, to excited, causing Bon-bon to be confused for a moment, before she said, "Are you crazy?" Bon-bon exclaimed. Lyra looked her body, then back at Bon-bon. "What do you think?"
It took a few minutes and some convincing with Bon Bon, but finally Lyra convinced Bon Bon to help her break into the lab.
"I don't know how you talked me into this, but you somehow did." Bon-bon said. Bon-bon looked at her hands, not knowing how to use them. "You're supposed to use your fingers to press the numbers in the keypad." Lyra said. She looked at the keypad, then wondered how to use her hand like that. "I'll tell you what buttons to press, you're just press them with one finger." Bon-bon didn't know how, but she felt compelled to press a button with the pointer. (However, she didn't know what it was called,) So Lyra started calling out numbers, as Bon-bon started pressing buttons that matched up with the numbers that she wanted.
Soon, it pulled up a finger scanner. Lyra instantly knew what to do by just breathing on the scanner. Soon, a thumb print appeared, causing the device to scan James' fingerprint. Soon, the door opened, revealing the lab. "Jackpot!" Lyra exclaimed quietly. Bon-bon didn't know wheather to be impressed, or surprised by her friend's stratigic planing. Lyra quickly ran over to the fridge, and opened it, only to find a note where the jug was.
Suddenly, Lyra flew upward, dangling by a special trap system. "Nice try Lyra. But I actually have a better gift than what Bon-Bon's been drinking." James said. He then stepped out of the shadows, carrying the jug. "I'm just afraid that you'll have to be patient." he said, "I do however thank you for teaching Bon-Bon on one of the many uses of using the hand." Lyra, who was hanging upside down, said, "But why, why won't you let me drink it?" "Because, you have to drink it as many times as Bon-Bon, maybe more if you want it to last a week."
"Plus, there's a few side effects that may effect you. The only reason that it hasn't effected Bon-Bon is because she doesn't have dormant magic. Only magic that is related to a Earth pony." he said. Lyra became sad, and started to pout. Bon-bon, not knowing what else to do, started to pat Lyra on the head. "It's not fair." Lyra said. "Lyra," Lyra looked at her best friend, "I don't know why you're getting upset. I don't think it's fair that I'm stuck in this form for three days."
"But, If I'm going to be stuck in this unfairness, I wouldn't have it with any other pony than with you. My weird best friend." she said. Lyra started to cry tears of joy, and smiled at her friend. Soon, they hugged. "Uh Bon-Bon, Two things. One, why is your chest so soft? And two, can you get me down?"
Author's Note
There are so many possiblilties to use this idea of making Bon-bon the pony who turns anthro or has hands, instead of Lyra, as a type of half ironic, half "I'm-not-following-the-meme". I know you may not think it's a good idea, but this is where things get interesting.

A Scientist in the Bermuda Triangle in Equestria
Bon-bon woke up, feeling the same as before. Stange. She sat up, realizing what was strange... she was still in a human-like form. Or as James said, "An anthro form." 'I don't know what I did to go through this, but I'm sorry.' She thought. At first she stopped, hoping that it would be all a dream and she would be in normal pony form.
Nothng happened.
Suddenly, there was a knock on her door. "Can I come in?" James said. Bon-bon forgot to close the door, in which she made a note on that, then added, "Only if you aren't going to turn me into a cow for your milk." James just chuckled at this, then said, "If I needed milk, I would go to the store. That's why milk is at a store, so everypony doesn't need to own a cow."
Bon-bon thought of what James said, then chuckled because it was true. James sat down next to Bon-bon, as she tried to figure out how things would ever go back to normal. "Why would you wish for such things?" "Huh?" Bon-bon said. James smiled, then said, "I know that look," he said, wagging a finger at her. "It's the 'How do I do normal anymore, when my life has been so far... weird?' look. That's the same look my sister had, when I gave her experimental chemicals to drink, and she- herself -actually tried some of my experimental products, not knowing the outcome. That's kinda why I like her." he said.
Bon-bon's ears perked up, hearing that James had a sister. "You had a sister?" she asked. James looked at her, then said, "Have. I'm hoping to find a way to get home... back to Earth." He paused for a moment, staring off into the distance. He then snapped out of it, returning his attention back to Bon-bon. "But that's besides the point. The point is that you shouldn't be afraid of being weird. In my opinion, whatever prepares you for unpredictability... well, be prepared." he said.
"Now I came up here not only to check on you, but to also show you what I was working on for Lyra." he said, getting up from the bed. "Come on. You've got to see this, it's so cool." He then quickly ran down the stairs, only for Bon-bon to hear what sounded like a body falling down the stairs. There was a sort-of silence that hung in the air. "I'm ok." he finally said.
She shook her head, then got up, only to fall over. She then pulled herself up, and started to try walking. She soon got the hang of it, putting one foot in front of the other. She soon finally was able to walk normally, then left the room.
Bon-bon soon came down the stairs, as she walked into the living room, seeing Lyra wearing a odd gauntlets on her hoofs. "What are those things?" Bon-bon said. Lyra held up a hoof, then suddenly, the gauntlet on her left hoof opened up and out came a mechanical hand with five fingers on it. "Check it out. Hands!" she said, with excitement. "I can finally teach you how to use them." Lyra said. Bon-bon looked at James, who just smirked at her expression.
Octavia and Vinyl got up, greeting the day without a explosion. There was a crash, however that seemed questionable to them. So, they got up and headed downstairs. They soon heard a wild commotion going on. "Is this is how you do it?" Lyra said. Both mares were nervous at what was going on, they were afraid that Lyra was about to blow them up. They quickly ran down, only to find the strangest sight they ever saw. One that would place them into shock.
Sitting at a table was Lyra with a strange gauntlet attached to her hoof, which had a mechanical hand on top. She was holding James hand, who was on the other side of the table. Both looked like that they were pushing on each other's hands, trying to... do something. Both mares looked at each other, then back at the three of them. (AN: Apparently, they don't know arm-wrestling)
They suddenly noticed the strange looking pony, which they almost instantly knew who it was. It was Bon-bon, who was looking over the strange event that was taking place. Soon, James' hand was pinned down by the mechanical gauntlet that Lyra wielded. "Darn it, looks like you won Lyra." he said. He then turned toward Bon-bon and said, "You want a go Bon-Bon?" Bon-bon looked over what James was pointing at what James was talking about, then said, "Sure, I'll give it a try." she said.
James got up as Bon-bon sat down. James then noticed the two musical mares. "Morning girls. Want some breakfast?" he said, as both girls behind him started their arm-wrestling. Both mares knew that this week wasn't going to be normal, not at all.
After all that happened, they all went back to work, except for two. They were already at work, helping Bon-bon get used to her new form. As they started teaching her how to sit, and some of the strange things that were somewhat normal to humans, Twilight entered the house. "James, weren't you going to give me the notes on 'Wormhole Theories and the Multiverse'?" she said. She then stopped looking at the strangest thing, Bon-bon who didn't look fully human, just partilally human.
5 minutes later, after an explanation...
Twilight was confused, wondering why he didn't just create a cure. "Oh, by the way Twilight, I'm testing a strange device that will enable anyone's expressions to be exaggerated. I'm testing out the... "Rage Helmet"? I don't remember why I called it that, I was drunk and ended up doing drunk science again." Twilight facehoofed, shaking her head. She wondered why she ended up with the weirdest and craziest creature ever.
"Anyways, I'll test it out later," he said, placing the device on a manikin crash test dummy's head, "For now, we're teaching Bon-Bon how to use her hands. Hopefully, she'll be able to actually use them for useful things." James said. Twilight looked at Bon-bon, then back at James "Can I help?" she asked. James shrugged, as if this was normal, adding "Sure" to the shrug.
Author's Note
I know, this is short, but I need to work on some type of idea on what and how to write "Sliding into Equestria". The problem is that I have where they're supposed to go, but I need help leading them to that part.
On top of that, I have a story that I haven't finished yet that involves my characters "The Spy-tective Agency", and the origins of the story.

Chapter 14: Hands Pt. 3 Life With Hands Pt. 2
After a day of being taught how to use her hands, she finally go a chance to use her hands out in public aside from her refusal to use them in public. "What if they call me a freak? What if they call me some type of monster from the Everfree?" Bon-bon said. Twilight sighed, while James just facepalmed and shook his head. 'This is unbelieveable, I can't believe that she's getting nervous about showing off a new scientific trick. Then again...' "James!" "Hm," he said, snapping out of his thoughts, looking at Twilight, then back at Bon-bon.
"Sorry, just thinking." he said. An idea suddenly started to form in his head. "Do you work for your own company?" he asked. Bon-bon was confused by the question, and said, "What... like, 'Do I work at my own shop for myself?' " she asked. "Yeah." She nodded.
James smiled like a chesire cat, giggling like a mad mare. He then dashed toward his work desk, grabbing a peice of paper, and writting down something that was probably important. 'Does anypony work for you?" he said. Bon-bon thought for a moment, then said, "Well besides, Twist... no. Bu-" "So what's to worry?" he said coming back with a note. Bon-bon twiddled her thumbs, then said, "Well, what if somepony tries to call the cops and it leads to-," "Don't worry, I'll handle that if it happens." James then suddenly thought of something.
"Just in case though," he said, wagging a finger, "Twilight. Send a message to her Highness, alert her of the possibility that I may get arrested for things that may seem wrong to everypony. Add also about me not harming anypony." She nodded, then started writing a letter to Princess Celestia.
James then gave Bon-bon the note. "Place that on your pin board, and make sure they can all see it." he said. Bon-bon nodded, then James added, "You want me to take you to work?" Bon-bon nodded.
Bon-bon was surprised that the device James had was moving. Lyra gave a whoop of joy as she rode the car, while James smiled. This song was playing.

Bon-bon was confused about how James' car drove, and what was powering it if it wasn't magic. James said he would explaining it to later, maybe after the job. As they drove, Lyra asked, "How do they make that sound? It's totally alien." "Maybe because you guys haven't heard of a electronic keyboard." he said. Lyra froze in shock, surprised to hear that. James stopped at "Bon-bon's Sweet Shoppe" , then said, "Well, here's you're stop. I'll pick you up when you're done." Bon-bon nodded, then got out of the car. James then drove off, back toward the Everfree.
Carrot Top didn't like James, for her reasons. Reasons why? One, James was weird and considered a nusance. Two, He acted unusual and she didn't trust a stallion who didn't tell his reasons. She was just glad that James only came out every so often when it came to food or nesessities. As she headed for her friend's sweet shop, she heard strange sounds coming from James' carrage as he passed by.
She shook her head, then headed for Bon-bon's shop. "Bon-Bon, you here?" Carrot Top said. There was sounds that came from the back of the shop, then she heard, "Yeah, hang on." she heard. "Ok, I'm going to sit down here at your table." she said. She sat down, thinking of how to prove that the stranger from another world was a threat or possibly some kind of freak to society.
Bon-bon came out, pinning James' note to the board. Then she turned around to see Carrot Top. 'Oh boy!' thought Bon-bon. Carrot looked at Bon-bon, which the face of friendliness changed to a face of panic. "Now before you do anything rash, know that I'm still me... just not physically." she said. Carrot looked at Bon-bon, surprised at what she was seeing. She finally said something, "By Celestia, what on Equestria happened?" she said.
She then put two-and-two together (or so she thought) and said, "Did James have something to do with this?" Bon-bon didn't want James getting in trouble, but she didn't want to lie. That's when a idea formed in her head. "You have to wait, until I can take a break from my work." she said. Carrot didn't want to wait, but she was a gentlemare, so she just muttered something, and said, "Fine, but if you aren't what you say you aren't, I'm calling the authorities." she said. Bon-bon nodded, "Noted."
Lunchtime...
He then got out of the car, grabbing a paper sack. "Here's your lunch Bon-bon. A daffodil sandwich, with baked chips and some apple juice. James looked to his left, seeing Carrot Top. "And I'm outta here." he said, not losing the happy look on his face.
"Wait, I wanted you here so she can see that you're a nice... person." she said. James gave a "really?" look (not to get confused with the curious look, which is about near the same), then he looked at Carrot, who looked upset. "Yeah but, she hates me." he said. Bon-bon pulled out a chair, and patted on the seat. James sighed, looked up to the sky, saying, "Why God must you be so hard on me." then walking over to sit down.
"Now that we're all together, let me start by saying that he had noting to do with my desicions. He did, however had something to do with what I drank." she said. She then started to tell her story of her drinking the weird juice in James' Lab Fridge, causing her to change. They did a few harmless experiments, adding in that she was healthy, and that he made Lyra a special gauntlet for a reason. After the whole story, Bon-bon hoped that Carrot saw that he wasn't a bad person. That never happened in what she heard.
"Why didn't you lock the fridge?" she yelled at him. James looked at her, then said, "And ruin my good mini-fridge... no thank you. I warned her that she and my other roommates are to not, and I repeat, NOT touch my fridge. I was thankful that the idem she drank only effects her until the day after tomarrow, or is it tomarrow. I forget which." he said, with a shrug. Carrot looked at James, then back at Bon-bon. "And you live with this guy, why?" "Because, he gave me a place to stay until we can find a house."
"Answer me this Carrot. Why do you not like me?" he said, pointing a finger at her. "Because, You're weird, you're a nusance to society, and you don't tell anyone anything." she said, very loudly. She then noticed that it was attracting the attention of many different ponies. She looked back at James, who had a deadpan look. He pulled out a notepad, writing down something, ripped it out of the notebook, folded it in half, then gave it to Carrot Top. He doffed a imaginary hat toward her, then headed toward his car and drove off.
"What was that for?" she said. Bon-bon shrugged, then continued munching on her sandwich. Carrot opened the note that she was given, looking it over.
Bon-Bon's Sweet Shoppe. 7:30 pm
This left Carrot Top and Bon-bon confused. "I actually thought that this went pretty well." Bon-bon said.
Carrot Top sat there at the table outside of Bon-bon's shop as Bon-bon closed it down for the night. Suddenly, Carrot heard a strangly unnatural sound (at least unnatural to ponies). Bon-bon and Carrot looked to see James car drive up to the shop, and park right in front of the place. "Need a lift?" James said with a smirk. Both mares noticed that there was smoke coming off of him, and he looked partially charted.
Both looked at each other, then back at the car. They soon got in and soon, drove off into the Everfree.
"I gotta tell ya, it's nice to actually have a somewhat friendly face appear here at my humble abode." he said, as he drove. Carrot was nervous, but asked anyways, "Do you usually experiment on ponies?" James did a spit take, taken by surprise. "WHAT?!" he exclaimed. Carrot didn't flinch, but was scared of him. "You really think I experiment on ponies?" he said, "I don't really experiment on them... I experiment on myself and well, my superdog, Charlie." he said.
Carrot Top looked at him in surprise. "You don't experiment on us, but you still experiment on animals?" "No! Just my pet. And by the way, he volunteered to have experiments done," he said continuing to drive, then added, "Besides, they're mostly harmless." he said.
They soon made it into James' Yard, seeing all the strange objects in his yard. The strangest thing that Carrot had saw was the house. It was completely upside-down. James soon opened the garage and entered it. He soon closed it behind him, turning off his car. Soon, a black scottish terrier came running up to the driver's door. "Charlie my man, how's it going?" Carrot got a good look at him, seeing that he was in no trouble or hurt. "Fine, except I think 'Experiment #12B' has a strange side effect."
Carrot was shocked as she looked at the little dog. James however was more focused at the task at hand. "What is it?" he said. Charlie soon spat out causing his saliva to suddenly combust. "Combustible spit. That's a new one." he said. He then looked at Charlie, then said to him, "Go drink some water, it should fix that problem." Charlie barked, then ran back inside. James just smiled as the little dog ran into his doggie door, back inside the house. "Ain't he just the cutest thing?" he said. He then looked back at Carrot Top, who was still in a state of shock. Of course, it wasn't normal shock.
He pulled her out of the car, then brushed her off. "He's still cute." he said. Carrot nodded slowly in agreement. He soon lead her into the house. What she soon saw, surprised her. She saw that the entire house was surprisingly almost normal. She then noticed that Vinyl and Lyra were doing something with the strange insturments. "I see you guys actually found my stash of video games." he said. Lyra was playing the guitar, and Vinyl was playing the drums.

Lyra started playing the colors on time, as well as Vinyl. "This seems easy." Vinyl said, as she played. James smirked, knowing how well the drummer could play 'What was his name again? Geddy... no, that was the singer and base player. Alex... no, that's the guitar player.' James just shrugged, and headed for the lab, followed by Bon-bon and Carrot Top.
"NEIL, THAT WAS HIS NAME!" James exclaimed. Both mares playing the gameing system however, didn't hear James exclamation.
The lab door opened, and revealed a lot of strange things to Carrot Top, who didn't know anything about the experiments. James then walked towards a oven, and pulled out a pan with beakers in a beaker holder. He set the pan on the counters, then closed the oven, turning it off. He then pulled one out, looking it over. The liquid bubbled, and looked oddly rainbow colored.
James popped it opened, giving it a whiff, then he gave it a swig. "Yup, the fruit juice concosion works." he said, writing down the information. Carrot Top gave a sigh of relief, before something strange happened. There was a pop that came from James. At the same time the pop came, rainbow smoke shot out of his ears. He froze for a moment, then sped off throughout the room at high speeds. He then suddenly stopped. "Dang! I gotta tell Rainbow Dash on this, she won't believe this." he said, picking up the clipboard. He then started to write down something.
After that, James smiled at Carrot. "What, you think this was-," Carrot nodded, to which James just started to laugh, "Dudette, that's just silly. Also, I don't kill or slaughter, I would however fight a pony if they've hurt any of my friends." He then walked towards Carrot Top, and crouched down next to her. "And honestly, I would like you to be just that. A friend." Carrot looked at him, seeing not a nusance, not a freaky weirdo with world dominational plans, just a friendly face trying to fit in the best he knew how. She then smiled, "Sure, I guess you aren't really all that bad." James smiled, then remembered something, "Also, sorry with me acting weird. I was following these tunnels I found belonging to some gopher pest."
"Maybe you can see some of my garden, but right now," he then looked at Bon-bon, then at the door. "How about we play some Guitar Hero?"
Author's Note
UPDATE: Honestly, I thought that this story would be a good idea, not only following the ironic idea of Bon-bon being the one getting hands, but also this side idea of James and Carrot Top resolving their differences. I wanted it to kinda leave it on a happy note, with Lyra finally getting her hands, and James and Carrot becoming friends.
I may do a chapter of Celestia and Luna trying video games, or something involving a crazy idea of some of the ponies trying some of the music I brought over into Equestria. I dunno, I'll work it out later.

Chapter 7 1/2: Lyra's Proof of Humanity
(AN: This takes place between "Roommates" and Twilight and Science, and consider this my idea of "what if Lyra took a human to the science (or magic) society of unicorns?" Wish me good luck.
"You want me to do what?", he said. James was busy trying to figure out why his scanner was going off in the middle of the night, only to find out something about some kind of time anomaly. "I want you to take me to the Canterlot Unicorn School for the Gifted. They said that humans were impossible, but they're really wrong." James nodded hearing this, acknowledging that he heard all of this. "I want to prove those chumps that my theories of humans are real." she said. James smiled, then said, "Alright, I'll help you. Especially in the name of science." He then grinned even bigger and said, "But also to see the shocked look of those ponies faces." Lyra smiled, knowing that it would be a great day.
The car soon drove up to the university, as James gulped. He felt slightly nervous, but not as bad as it was before. "You ok?" James looked back at Lyra, seeing her. He then smiled, and said, "Yeah, don't worry about me. I just haven't been to a university in years, especially since that incident."
He then got out his equipment from his trunk, then went into the University. He heard things about the school where it was all the smartest and most gifted unicorns went to. James, however, didn't act like a unicorn. He wasn't very organized, he didn't care too much about a lot of details, and he wasn't very neat in some things. He did however showered and wore his best t-shirt, which happened to be looking like a tux.
He then started to set up the lab equipment, while Lyra went to get her teachers. He started to adjust the flame on his Bunsen burner, when he realized that he needed to tie his shoe (I know-boring. But let's face it, we have to get the plot moving) Lyra soon busted through the doors, revealing a empty room with nothing but James' equipment. Lyra was confused and was shocked all at the same time. "Lyra is this your idea of a joke?" one pony said. Lyra shook her head, then said, "Look I know he's here, just come in." She soon galloped into the room, followed by her professors. James pen dropped, to which he quickly grabbed in mid-air. He smirked at his great feat, before Lyra took him by surprise.
"James!" "GAH!" *bang!* He knocked his head on the edge of the desk. This took the four unicorn professors by surprise. James rubbed his head, hissing from the pain, then started to get up. As he got up, the four unicorns expected a pony. Instead, they got a strange bi-pedial creature. "Seriously Lyra? You need to warn me when you come next time." "I kinda did."
"Did you call for me?" James said, not noticing the unicorn's look to such a strange creature. Lyra thought for a moment, then said, "I don't think so." James just facepalmed, then said, "That's why you tell me when you're coming in." he said. He then looked at the professors, who were still in a state of shock. James pulled out his camera and took a picture. Then again, Best... Moment... Ever." he said, showing the picture to Lyra, who nodded in agreement, after seeing the picture.
He then looked back at the unicorns, who were staring at him. "So, gentlemen," he said, rubbing his hands quickly, "Where shall we begin?" he started, leaning on the desk behind him. The four unicorns were confused and speechless. That's when he realized something. "Didn't you...get the message from... Princess..." they shook their heads, as he realized that they missed the newspaper issue from yesterday.
"That could've gone better." James said. Lyra nodded as she followed him. After they were introduced and James explained a few things, he wanted to show them some chemistry. That soon led to a explosion, and the six of them covered in soot. James was still smoking, even after the whole event, which of course he made a joke from it. "I don't smoke." he said, causing Lyra to giggle at his joke.
"I feel great," he said, placing all his supplies into his car, then said, "Let's go eat. I feel like I could eat..." He paused, hoping to find something that wouldn't offend anypony. "...This car." he said, patting the vehicle. Lyra started to laugh again, as they drove off to home.

A Science of the Bermuda Triangle in Equestria
It was a beautiful day in Equestria in Ponyville. James was just taking a break from his experiments and decided to go for a walk with his friends. James suddenly noticed Pinkie... and she was wearing a umbrella hat. James was curious, and decided to talk to his pink friend. He soon walked up to Pinkie, confused as to why she would have it on, 'Unless she doesn't want to get a sunburn on her fa- Do ponies get sunburn?' he thought.
He placed his thought about ponies getting sunburn under "Strange Questions" file of his brain. He then proceeded towards her friend. "Hey Pinkie, what's with the umbrella hat? In fact, I didn't know Equestria HAD invented umbrella hats." He then made a quick mental note to check what inventions they did had. "Of course we have umbrella hats silly. As for why I'm wearing-" Suddenly, her tail twitched.
James was confused. "James, yer better high tail it for cover. Sumthin is about to fall." Applejack said, nearby. James saw AJ hide under her applecart. James was now confused by what was happening. "Why pray tell should I do thAAAAHHH-" He suddenly fell into a pot hole, a very deep pot hole. James soon pulled himself out and brushed himself off. He looked at Applejack, to which he said, "Just a coincidence." he said. He soon started to walk towards the cart.
Suddenly, Pinkie's tail twitched. A flower pot fell and landed right in front of him. That caused his brain to state that, that was strike two. "K, that was a freaky coincidence." he said. Twilight soon walked up to Applejack's cart. "Hey Applejack, how's it going?" "Hide Twilight, Pinkie's tail is twitchin'." Applejack said. Twilight panicked and ran to a nearby tree. "Alright, that's enough. Why are all of you guys so jumpy?"
At the exact moment, Pinkie's tail started to twitched again, and Derpy soon fell from the sky, landing right in front of him. She muttered something, then sat up. "Are you James R.?" she said. James was still shocked, but nodded slowly. She handed him a clipboard, then wrote his signature on it. Derpy nodded, then gave him the package. She then flew off.
"Ok. Once is a coincidence. Twice is a freaky coincidence. Three times, something strange is happening, and your..." He paused for a moment, then said, "Pinkie, what do you call your Sixth Sense?" "My Pinkie Sense." she said. James nodded slowly, then said, "I had a feeling it was somewhat obvious." Twilight came out of her hiding spot, looking at the man of science. "Wait, you believe that the Pinkie Sense is real!" she said. James nodded. Twilight looked at him, even more confused. "Why?" she said. James smiled, then said, "Because my dear Twilight, Once is a coincidence. Twice is a freaky coincidence. Three times, and well... you basically get the idea."
Twilight was surprised. "Basically, Pinkie gave me proof that her sixth sense was real." He suddenly had an idea, then looked at Pinkie. He then said, "Hey Pinkie, how would you like to be part of scientific history?" he said. Pinkie looked at him, then thought about it for a moment.
Five Minutes Later...
Soon, the helmet whirred to life, as the light soon started to come on. The buttons, switches, and lights all started to do things, Lights blinked on and off, as the device made mechanical noises. James looked at what the computer was telling him about Pinkie. He was curious on why and how she was able to do certain things. He then realized that the computer would take an hour just to map out her brain, so he decided to show Twilight some shows on TV.
Over the past week or so, James was able to send signals into space-time making a satellite (built from nothing but a crystal, some duct tape, chewing gum, a satellite dish and a flux capacitor) He used it to get TV signals which brought him even closer to achieving his dream of getting back to Earth. (However, his plan was to just visit it every so often, and live on the Earth in Ponyville) Twilight was interested in James' culture, so she would stay to watch some of his shows. James did however warn her that humans were violent, but not all humans.
She was however interested on strange quotes that he seemed to make up. She ended finding it out by him introducing the internet. (Again, he cautioned her) She found out what it was James quoted on, and usually made fun of her by ways of memes. He then introduced her to others, including websites that introduced the basic idea of fandom (Plus and minuses, while trying to avoid some inappropriate things.) and the fun behind it. She understood it, and took the idea of following TV shows was fun.
James was once again, searching the TV for something to watch. 'Ooo, Powerpuff girls. I've always wanted to show Twilight this show.' "Hey, click on that one!" Pinkie exclaimed. James was looking at what Pinkie was pointing at, and was confused. "My Little Pony?" he then looked at Pinkie, "Seriously?" "Watch it, it will change everything and explain nothing, and yet it will make sense so much that-." James held up his hands, then said, "Alright, I'll watch it. But, I feel like I'm going to regret this." James said. He clicked on it, just as it was coming on.
"Once upon a time..."
The Next day...
James then looked back at Pinkie Pie, then said, "How long?" Pinkie thought for a moment, then said, "Since Twilight came into Ponyville." Twilight was even in more shock. James calculated the time compared to the episodes, "That means about the beginning of Season 1 to now... I think." He then grabbed a nearby chalkboard, and flipped it. He then started to draw some other people in it, including a anamorphic rabbit with a carrot. "This may also confirm my second theory about Pinkie." he said. He continued to draw cartoon characters, as Twilight looked at his drawings.
He then stopped and looked at her. "Twilight, what do all of these," he started, emphasizing the drawings on the chalkboard, "have in common?" Twilight looked at them, then said, "They're all weird looking." James looked at the drawings with a straight face, then said, "Besides that." Pinkie raised her hand, hopping like a kid with a question who was impatient. "They all follow Cartoon Physics? " James pointed at her, like she got it, which she did.
He then pointed at each one, and said their names. "Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker, Animaniacs, Roger Rabbit. All of them follow a set of physics that seem to defy normal physics all in the name of humor." he said. James then grabbed some DVDs and pulled out the first one, which was "The Three Stooges". Then, they started to watch more, moving on to the animations. As they watched, James explained to her the idea of humor, and creatures (like Pinkie Pie) could defy physics, but never replace them completely. As she watched, she realized that Pinkie wasn't the only one to survive what happened to her. "James, could this... cartoon physics have a effect on other ponies?" she asked.
James thought for a moment, then said, "I think so. The physics here aren't exactly strict," he then looked at her with a confused look, "Why?" Twilight tapped her hooves, then said, "Well because, I seemed to have survived getting blunt objects dropped on my head, or the occasional door slamming."
James just raised an eyebrow at Twilight. Then suddenly Pinkie said, "There's also a fandom." Pinkie's note seemed to hit James like a ton of bricks, then he quickly ran to the computer and started looking up information. Five seconds later, he returned, unlatching Pinkie from the helmet. He then said, "Follow me." and soon sped off, with Pinkie and Twilight close behind. He then started looking on Youtube for the show.
"..."
There were over a thousand results, some involving the real episodes of MLP:FIM. He clicked on one.
When it ended, James realized who made it. "Doggunnit MAD. Why?"
James then started looking for more videos to make him feel better. He then found one.
Twilight was shocked again as she realized that her event with the "Pinkie Sense" was actually now a song. "What? Someone has just ponifyed a song?" "And a Beatles song no less." Pinkie said. James looked at her, then said, "You've been through my CD Collection again, haven't you?" Pinkie just gave him a sheepish smile, like she forgot to tell him. James wasn't impressed, then said, "Alright, who else has been?" "Well, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were listening to some album called... At least... I think it was called "Hemispheres"?"
James looked at her with shock. "One of my Rush CDs?" he exclaimed, "I don't know if Fluttershy would handle it. It's kinda loud." he said, thinking about it. He then he turned back to her and said, "This discussion isn't over." He then went and started looking for other things.
After a while, things started getting strange and interesting as he found a website filled with Fan Fiction, when suddenly his watch went off. "Guys, we'll have to continue with this tomorrow." James said. Both mares awwed, as James held his hands up as if to say 'Hold on' "Now guys, we have to get back to our jobs, so that means that we have to leave my house... well, except for me, and go home." James said. Both thought this through, then nodded, realizing that it was true. They couldn't avoid their responsibilities any longer.
They both said goodnight to him, then left. James checked his watch then yelled, "It's only three o' clock." He waved it off, then went back to doing more research on this new discovery, making notes along the way.

Yes, I know that I should've been popping out with chapters like a machine, but I have a horrible case of 'Writer's Short Attention Span Syndrome'. I'm having to force myself to write these chapters just to keep you guys from jumping at my throat.
Also, a note is that this is 2010... well, about late 2010 for our character, and somewhen before Second or Third Season came out, at least I think. I should tell you that I just wanted to do a chapter like this, which should foreshadow a certain story I wanted to do.
To be honest, the next chapter is perfect for introducing a cool idea that I've wanted to do. Know that this is just a story, and tell me guys what you think about the story so far. Hope to make your day, and don't hate me for introducing the show to the girls, as well as introducing Pinkie Pie's strange abilities with an explanation.
Next time, Ponies start to find out how messed up some humans can be, and will James be able to pull himself out of a metaphoric ditch that he didn't even dig himself? Find out next time.

We're in a Cartoon, and Humans Do WHAT?!
Author's Note: This isn't completely my idea, this idea was inspired by We're in a Cartoon? by Haphazard Thanks for the idea dude.

A Scientist of the Bermuda Triangle in Equestria
'Another day, another... item to do.' James thought. He rode in on his bike, deciding it was a beautiful day to ride his bike. Inside the basket of his bike was his laptop, ready to show some more stories and more of their fandom. James smiled, then parked the bike in front of the Library. He then heard noises in there, that sounded like a sense of horror. James grabbed his laptop, jumping off his bike. He then entered into the library...
...only to find out everything was just strange.
Pinkie was in the corner, depressed with her hair flat, starting to fly. Rainbow was rocking back and forth in the fetal position. The CMC were playing patty-cake, Rarity was babbling like an idiot, Applejack was lying on the ground, unconscious, and Twilight looked like she was going insane. James was just confused at what he was seeing, when he suddenly saw the computer laptop in the room. 'Uh oh! This doesn't look good.' he thought.
He soon walked up to the computer, looking at the history of the computer. He was shocked as he saw what websites they went to. "Nuts! I was hoping to somewhat avoid this day." he said, as his head drooped. He then raised his hands in rage, and said, "Why Murphy, Why must you be so cruel and scar all of them?" he said. He looked around seeing the six look at him. He just smiled, then said, "Now that I have y'all attention, mind explaining to me what the heck just happened?" Twilight looked at her friends, then said, "I was more curious about our fandom James. So, using the computer that you made me for my birthday, I decided, with the help of my friends, that we should look at the fandom by ourselves."
James nodded, then said, "And now you see why I show you stuff, instead of you looking up stuff." All of them nodded. He smirked at them, then looked at the first thing that they looked at... storywise. "Cupcakes?" James said, confused. All of them were frightened. James started to read the story, reading, looking over things, so on and so forth. Suddenly, he busted up laughing. "This is... HA, HA so ridiculous." he said, starting to laugh again.
All of them looked at each other, then Rainbow Dash looked at what James was reading. She was confused, then looked at the human. "What's so funny?" James started to take in deep breathes, then said, or at least said it with a straight face. "It's because Pinkie is so out of character, it's funny. BWAHAHAHAHA!" he said starting to laugh again. Pinkie looked at it again, then suddenly, her hair became poofy again, and she started laughing. "When you put it that way, it is funny." she said, as she and James were rolling on the floor laughing. They soon sighed, taking a breather.
"Anyways, I had the crazy idea after hearing the ending of cupcakes. The idea was to do a similar idea to "Frankenstein" to which I would grab the dead bodies, put them back together, then actually use lightning to bring you guys back to life. The others looked at him, like he was crazy. "*Ahem* Also, Pinkie had a evil twin." James said. All of them looked at each other in confusion, then Pinkie said, "Well, why don't you show us some good things."
He nodded, then went and started to type in for videos. "This should peak your interest." he said. Then he added, "Careful, it has language you wouldn't normally use."
After seeing the video, Rarity was in shock, as well as several others. Pinkie, Rainbow, and Spike were laughing. James couldn't help but chuckle at what they had just watched. Finally, Twilight spoke. "Er, well. That was interesting, and quite animated." she said. "I agree." Applejack said. Rarity was still in shock, then Twilight bumped her. "Anything to say Rarity?" she said. Finally, she said, "What absurdity. I would never eat that amount of calories. That would ruin my perfectly good figure." she said. Then Rainbow remembered something. "Isn't this similar to 'Epic Meal Time'?"
James smiled with a nod, then searched for one video that they would all love.
He thought there were others, but at this time, he thought that they were good enough to get the point across. He looked back at the girls who were amazed at what was made. "This is called 'Pony Music Videos' or PMV for short. They turn normal music, and setted it up to where they make it seem like you're singing it, or interpreting it. At least I think." he said. The others were nodding. "Those sound familiar." "They do Fluttershy. This is Rush, with their most awesome songs like "Subdivisions, Anthem, and The Analog Foal" ." he said, naming them off in order.
He smiled at their reactions to what they were watching the animations. He then went to some fan sites when, he suddenly found a picture.
In fact, he found several.
As James showed them the pictures of them, and the fan art, and the memes, they were all impressed that humans were interested in them. Mostly males who were even older than James, and yet some weren't all that bad. They created things that somehow made them part of the fandom. "You see girls, they don't just watch. They learn from you, and then some also make songs and things, relating to the "brony" fandom." he said with a smile. He then chuckled at the things they were seeing. "I will tell you that you guys that some of us, as you somehow have found out," they just gave him the sheepish look, "Aren't exactly going to create things from you with your intentions in mind. In fact, almost all fandoms all like that." he said.
"Can we see a few?" Pinkie said. James thought about it for a moment, then said, "Meh, why not?" So, James showed them other fandoms, like Transformers, Star Wars, Star Trek, and other fandoms. Finally, Pinkie said, "Hey James, didn't you promise us a tv show?" James thought about it for a moment, before he finally remembered. "That's right, I promised you guys 'Doctor Who'. But, I left it at home." he said.

The Adventures of Doctor Whooves and Professor Rouse Part 1
Another beautiful day had sprouted out, thanks to Princess Celestia.
Everything was going to seem normal, or at least as normal as the upside-down house and James could really get. Suddenly, the air started to shift and blow. Then there was a sound, like a machine, breathing. *VWOORP! VWOORP!* Soon, a phone booth started to appear, as space and time started to disorient, and shift. *VWOORP! VWOORP! VWOORP! Thud!*
Sitting there on the front lawn of James' house was a strange box, sitting there. The words "Police Public Call Box" were on the sign, and it was blue. Very blue. Soon, the door opened to revealing pony in brown, with a hourglass for a cutie mark. "I wonder where I've landed this time." he muttered, then noticed the hooves. "Ah right, so I am back on Earth. Just not my earth, so why-." Suddenly, there was a explosion that came from the basement, resulting in smoke coming from the house and the chimney. The strange pony looked behind him to see the unusual building that stood behind his box.
"Well blimey, this is new. I wonder who lives here?" he said. Suddenly, Derpy swooped in, only to land on the porch of the house, which confused the Doctor. She rang the doorbell, waiting for a few moments. Suddenly, the door opened to a charded human in a labcoat. "Hey Derpy, how's it hanging?" he said. She shrugged, then handed him his mail. James smiled, then pulled out a fresh muffin, still ok, even though he didn't seem so. She smiled, then grabbed the muffin with her mouth. "We've got to get together sometime, y'know? Talk a little, play some games?" he said. She nodded in agreement.
James then turned towards the blue Police Box, also taking note of the brown colt. "Hey, How many times have I told you about setting up your selling booths in my yard?" James said. The brown colt looked at him with confusion. "This isn't a selling booth." he said, "This is sophisticated technology." "Yeah right, and I'm the King of Muffintown." James deadpanned. "Muffintown? Where?" Derpy said, looking around
James just patted her head, "Sorry Derpy. Until I can invent my special engine needed to traverse Space, Time, and the Multiverse, the idea of Muffintown is all just a dream." Derpy pouted then flew off, then James said, "Ok Derpy, I'll see you later." he said. James then turned towards the brown pony. "As for you, take your... " James looked at it, confused at what he was looking at. That's when it hit him, like a oncoming Space-Time thingy-majiggy. "How did you create this, when there are no phone booths in Equestria?" James said to the brown pony.
There was a silence in the air, as the brown pony realized to who, or what he was talking to. There was more silence, only to follow with the brown pony speaking, "Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Doctor Whooves." The Doctor held out a hoof, to which James was confused. He then said, "You're not freaked out that I'm a human, or that I exist?" he said. The Doctor laughed, then said, "Of course I'm not. I've seen weirder than you, like Cybermen, and Daleks."
That's when James mind smacked him upside the head. He knew why everything seemed so familiar. "Wibbly-Wobbly, Timey-Wimey." he said. He then looked at the box, while The Doctor was surprised by what he just said. What he said next surprised him. "No way. A Tardis, parked in my yard... but why?" he said, thinking out loud. James pulled out his scanner, and started to scan the area, while the Doctor looked at him with shock. "What?" he said.
Soon, the device started to bleep, showing a rift. James looked up to the sky, then realized the truth. "Well that explains why your Tardis did that." he said, then he walked back to the Doctor. There's a rift in Space-Time in my area, and you need to refuel your Tardis. Right?" he said. James smiled as the Doctor stood there in shock.
Ten Minutes Later...
"Who are you?" he said finally. James looked at the Doctor, then said, "Well, I'm James Rouse, the new Scientist of Equestria. Funny thing was that I used to be on a island in the Bermuda Triangle, led by Professor Wonder." The Doctor was curious on this, "How is he, by the way?" he said. "Meh, he's still trying to make a homemade twister, almost killed me in the process." James said, calmly. The Doctor looked at him with shock, while James was busy thinking on his engine. 'I swear I placed those plans somewhere, but where?' he thought
Then the Doctor said something. "Come again? What did you say?" James said. "I said, How did you survive the incident?" he said. James thought for a moment, then said, "It wasn't a normal twister Doctor. Plus it was near a rift in Space-Time, making it smoother for the transition." James said, sipping on the Coca-cola. Suddenly, there was a unusual sound that emitted from the Tardis.
"Oh no, The Cloister Bell." "Something's wrong," James said, as the wind blew, "Something is very, very wrong." he said. Both soon ran to the Tardis, and entered as it soon launched itself into time and space.
Both the Doctor and James entered the Tardis, to which James was taken by surprise by the 'Bigger-on-the-inside' ability of the Tardis. James was about to do the dance, when he turned to slammed into the doors, just as they closed. He turned around, rubbing his nose. Suddenly, the Tardis started to take off. "No, no, nonononono-NO!" The Doctor said, as he started pressing buttons. Suddenly, there was a quake.
"What was that? A timequake?" "No, we aren't near one of those-" The Doctor stopped in mid-sentence and slowly turned toward the strange boy. "How the heck do you know what a Timequake is?" he said in shock. James rubbed the back of his neck, giving the Doctor a sheepish smile. "I kinda have a long history of weird things happening. Why just last week, I was-" Suddenly, there was a crash.
As the Doctor checked his scanners, James said, "So, you'll still in the Coral Desktop Setting for this? I thought that you changed it... or was that later?" James was confused and started to think, as the Doctor looked at him again. 'How does he know those things?' James then noticed the monitor. He noticed that the planet they were getting close to was familiar looking. "Huh, a planet only Rani coul-" James stopped, as he realized why it looked familiar. "Doctor, we have to turn around." he said, as fear started to go through him.
"Why, what's so-?" "Doctor, now's not the time for asking questions. I'll explain everything back at my house, presuming that you can get us back?" James said. The Doctor looked into his eyes, seeing something that could make him trust him. The Doctor nodded, and pulled the lever...
... and nothing happened.
"That's not good," The Doctor said, "That's not good at all." Suddenly, the Tardis shook as they flew, then the Cloister bell rung, as they got tossed around. As they held on tight to the console, James couldn't help but say, "Well, this is definitely, Deja Vu." The Doctor looked at the boy, wondering what the mystery behind him was.

Yes, it does appear that I'm a Mary Sue... or should I say James, because he's on the adventure, not me. To be honest, he isn't. I hope I haven't written him like that. Let me know, I need to know these things so I can edit them.
Anyways, I thought I would write a chapter on Doctor Who, seeing that it is his 50th Anniversary this year. I tried to capture the 10th Doctor's personality into this pony for one reason. The Doctor (current one) is on a search for Clara's mysterious identity. Anyways, you all understand why James know so much on the Doctor and who has them, Right?
In any case, I'm releasing this chapter in the fact that it's been the subject I wanted to write about.
Next time, The Doctor and James meet Rani.

Down below on a planet, a person was looking over what was happening. James and The Doctor held on tight as the Tardis had multiple blast knock it towards a red-like planet. As it headed for the planet, a maniacal laughter could be heard over in the HQ of the two villains.

Everything was silent on the planet, almost silent. Suddenly, there was a noise as a rainbow colored beam carried a blue box straight towards it's destination. It soon landed with a thud on the rocky ground of the planet, thus it was silent once again, with no one nearby to hear the hum of the Tardis. The Box with the Mad Colt.
Inside the Tardis...
"That's not all. It gets worse." he said, pointing at the monitor. The Doctor soon went over to the monitor, seeing the big problem. Standing outside was the Rani and Vineyard. "Well, that's new." "Great, they'll gang up on the both of us, then steal your Tardis, and leave us marooned on another planet." James said. The Doctor pulled a couple of levers, "Not while I have something to say about it." he said. He then pulled the launch lever.
Suddenly, the Tardis started to malfunction, as sparks flew off the console. "You goof, you forgot to activate the Randomizer." James said, pressing a button. Soon, the Tardis launched itself...
...only to land on a cliff, 10 ft. away from them, and 25ft. above them.
"Well, that was unexpected." James said, stepping out of the Tardis. "Indeed. How can I still be a pony, when we're not on Equestria anymore?" "That's not what's bothering me Doctor. What's bothering me is, Why are we still on the same planet?" James said. The Doctor stopped looking at himself, and looked towards the cliffside, seeing Vineyard and Rani with her laser. The laser however was aimed at them. "Oh Sh-!" *Bzzzzt!* James grabbed the Doctor, hiding behind the Tardis. The blast hit the Tardis, but didn't even leave a scorch mark on the wooden box.
James smiled, happy he had knowledge on his- well, one of his favorite characters from TV. He was also glad that he was right, that the Tardis shields were up. He soon placed the Doctor down, then said in a whisper, "When I say now, run." The Doctor nodded, staying close to the Tardis. Rani shot again, to which at the same time, James yelled, "NOW!" Both the Doctor and the Scientist jumped, as the laser blast soon hit the cliffside. Suddenly, the Tardis started to fall. "No!" The Doctor exclaimed. James' brain went into overdrive, as he quickly grabbed from the Doctor's tie, his screwdriver. James then pressed it a couple of times, before aiming it at the Tardis.
The Tardis soon made it's famous *VWOORP! VWOORP!* , fading off into the Time Vortex. "Now, RUN!" James said, as both of them started to avoid the blast from Rani.
They soon were finally far away from the Doctor's old enemies, as they stopped at a rock. They were taking deep breaths, as The Doctor looked behind them. "I think we've lost them." "I don't think we need to. They have us right where they want us, and no one has any clue where we are!" James said, panicking. Suddenly, his iPhone rang, pulling the famous Nokia tone. He pulled out the phone, looking it over. "Huh, great cell service." he said, confused on why it would work.
He would think about it later, as he decided to answer it. "Hello," he said. "James, where are you?" a familiar voice said. "Charlie, great to hear from you. Listen, can you help us?" "Is this a prank?" Charlie said. James looked at the Doctor, then back at the phone. "Would I call you if it was? Wait, don't answer that one. Just help us. The Doctor and I are stuck on another with Rani and Vineyard after us." *Click!*
James looked at the phone, seeing his call had ended. "DDAAAAAAANNNNNGGGG IIIIIIITTTTTT!!!" he yelled, across the planet. It was so loud that two villains trying to find the Tardis, turned towards the source of the noise. "What was that?" "Mmm, it was probably that strange companion from Earth." Vineyard said. "Yes, and that is what bothers me. Didn't we get the Doctor from Equestria?" Rani said. Vineyard nodded, then thought for a moment. "Plus, I noticed the way he looked at us, as if he recognized us." "I noticed that too. It makes me wonder if he'll be a use to us." he said, in thought.
Back with our "heroes"...
"I honestly thought you would be taller." he said with a smirk. The Doctor looked at him, then said, "How did you know those things about me?" he said, pointing a hoof at him. James looked at him, then said, "Well, I was hoping to avoid this, but you don't exist in the universe I originally came from," he paused, then added, "Then again, aliens don't exist either... so far as we know." The Doctor looked at him, then said, "Then how-" "Because you're well known from a british sci-fi tv series. Funny thing is that the show is almost as old as you."
James chuckled at this, sitting down on a rock. He then said, "A show about a Mad Man in a Blue Box that's been running on the air for 50 years." The Doctor looked, surprised on the strange human's knowledge. "But I'm-." "900 years old, yes you told almost everyone on that. Well, at least almost all your companions." he said. Anyways, I don't know why Vineyard and Rani are wanting with you... unless they think that you're weak in your pony form." he said, pacing the alien ground. The Doctor looked at him in shock, then thought for a moment. "Well, that would be pointless wouldn't it?" "Well yes, because they don't know that you can still save the universe with hooves." James replied.
Something suddenly occurred to him. "If they get their hands on me and you," he said, think of what could happen, "It may spell your doom for both you and I, Doctor." The Doctor nodded at what James was getting at. "With your knowledge, they may be able to defeat me before I regenerate into my 7th Self. Then the entire universe would be doomed by Rani, Vineyard-," "The Master, don't forget about him." James pointed out.
The Doctor was about to say something, when there was a blast. They looked at the charted rock, with the small crater in it, then they looked at the source of the blast. Right in front of them was a Dalek. "EX-TERMINATE THE DOK-TOR!" The Dalek said. "Run?" James said. The Doctor nodded, to which James and The Doctor quickly jumped out of the path of the next blast. Soon they got up and ran, with the Dalek close behind. "EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" It exclaimed, shooting at them. Thankfully, they were able to outrun it.
Soon, they lost it and continued to walk across the alien surface. As they walked, they tried to avoid detection from any of the Doctor's enemies. There was another Dalek about to kill them when it spotted a Cyberman, and instead headed for it, preparing to kill it. While they hid behind the rock, they spotted the fight between the two. "This world is almost like the Death Zone that both you and your past reincarnations were in. The only difference is that Rani and Vineyard are behind this." James said.
The Doctor thought about what he said, remembering his Fifth Regeneration helping his First Three Regenerations try to survive the Death Zone that the President of Gallifrey had sent them to. He then snapped back to reality, when James tapped him. "Doc, we need to get going." he whispered, as the Cybermen and Daleks continued to fight. Both soon headed away from the fight.
Soon, they came to a ravine, causing them to stop. "Crud!" James exclaimed. He soon reached into his lab pockets, only to find a sonic screwdriver in it. "Oops! I believe this is yours Doctor." James said, handing the device back to him. The Doctor grabbed it, nodding with happiness.
Suddenly, The Doctor looked over to see a slope where they could run down into the ravine. "Look over there." he said, tugging on James' pants. James looked down on The Doctor, then at the slope. "Well then, let's go." James said, following the Doctor.
Meanwhile, at the base...
"Another Doctor? I'll just send this one off." "Wait!" Vineyard said, stopping Rani. Rani looked at him, confused at why she was stopped. "Why have fun with one Doctor, when we can mess with all of them?" Vineyard said, with a sneer. Rani joined in on the smile, and started messing with the controls of the console. Then, she flicked the switch, sending a beam at the Tardis, causing it to be sent off course.
James and The Doctor soon were hiding in the ditch, away from the Dalek, as he looked for the intruders that he wanted exterminated. He suddenly heard a noise behind him and went to investigate the noise. What he didn't know was that, a boy threw it... from a ravine. "Nice aim." The Doctor whispered. James held up two thumbs, when they soon heard a sound like a wheezing noise. Like another Tardis.
*VWOORP! VWOORP!* James turned behind him, seeing a faux Police Box start to appear before him. "Which exterior is that one?" James said to The Doctor. The Doctor confuse, somehow understood what he meant by that. The exterior of this Tardis looked different from his. Instead of looking like a replica of the Police Box from 1963, it looked like it was made out of some other material.
The Doctor made a mental note of the looks of the exteriors of long ago. James then said, "Doctor, could your key work on that?" The Doctor looked at the box before him, then said, "Maybe, why?" "Maybe your other regenerations are involved with whatever Rani, Vineyard, and/or both are planning for you. And guess what?" The Doctor looked at him. "I'll be behind you every step of the way, with a determination of getting home." James said, with a smile. The Doctor smiled with him, then said, "Alright, let's get to it."
"Allons-y!" he exclaimed, running towards the Tardis. James followed behind him, glad that he was able to get out. 'I need to get out more.' James thought. The Doctor soon unlocked the Tardis, opening it. James soon entered, closing the door.
It was dark at first, before the door opened in front of them. Looking at the console, they saw a colt in a hat and cricket-wear. He wore a celery stick on his jacket, and a hat on top of his blonde hair. Beside the console were two ponies, drinking tea at the table. One was a red headed colt, and the other was a female with black hair. James was partially confused on the two, sitting there drinking tea. They both noticed the two that came in, but the other one working the console didn't.
"Something wrong. The thermal couplings are starting to overheat, the scanners on the fritz, and that red light is blinking." he said, confused. James walked over to the console, looking over the items before him. Unlike the Tenth Doctor's coral theme, this one was much more neater and less of a repairment hassle. The rotor was detached from the ceiling, and there was a screen on it, showing basically where they were. James moved over to let the other Doctor in, and see if he could help his past counterpart.
The Doctor looked it over, then shook his head. James looked over it, then had an idea. He pressed two switches, then turned a knob. He then finally pulled a lever, and gave the console a tap. Finally, the console started working. "What? What did-," He stopped, finally noticing the 10th Doctor, and the strange scientist. "What? What?" He then got close to Ten, staring him down, "What?"
"Aw great, It's deja vu all over again." James said, causing everypony to stare at him. He just shrugged at this.
*Cue End Theme Music*
Author's Note
Yes, I did just write where the character reveals the known knowledge of the local scientist. No, I don't plan on making him fall in love with any companion. Yes, they are ponyfied, but James.
I also wanted to add the Fifth Doctor into this, because he originally met Ten before. Also, It's interesting to add the idea that the Doctor's original enemies, (besides The Master, who was used in the Tenth Doctor's lifetime) and try to take a fan and The Doctor (who was partially defenseless, being a pony and all) and use them to try and take over the universe.
Don't worry, I won't let that happen.
Also, I wanted to write into a Doctor story, but didn't want it being just some random one-shot. I actually thought this would be a brilliant idea for a 50th Anniversary, involving some of the most deadliest events ever.Stay TUNED! .

Last Time...
Tegan and Turlough had seen their share of weirdness, especially when they went to Equestria. Unfortunately, they've never seen the Doctor this scared before, nor this strange pony before them. "You again. How did you get in here?" Five said. Ten held up his Tardis key, which caused Five to face hoof. "Of course, I forgot you have your own key." he said. This confused both companions of the Fifth Doctor. James smiled, then turned around heading for the door, not noticing a familiar sound. He slammed, face first into the door, just before he fell over unconscious. The Tenth Doctor just facehoofed, at the unconscious scientist.

As the Scientist laid there unconscious, the four ponies looked at him. "I don't understand why this happened, how could you not hear the doors closing on the Tardis?" Ten said, to the scientist. James sat up, groaning. "Was that what that noise was? I thought it was something like that, but I just ignored it... until I slammed my face into the door." he said, rubbing his nose. Turlough, who was confused on why he looked like a pony, was also confused on who this other man -er, pony- was. Tegan, however spoke first. "Doctor, where are we? And why do we look like ponies?" She said.
The Fifth Doctor was confused as well, the only way they would be in this form was if they were in Equestria, to which according to the scanner, they weren't. "Doctor, if I may?" James said. Five nodded, wanting him to explain. "Rani and Vineyard have teamed up somehow and now, I guess, decided to mess with not only him, but also you. Who knows how many regenerations we're going to run into?" James said, thinking of the possible problems with more than one Tardis.
"Yes well, maybe you should take Tegan and Turlough with you outside. I need to talk to... myself." Five said. James couldn't help but kinda snicker at what he said. "And no, I'm not crazy." Ten said. James held his hands up in defense. "Hey, when time travel is involved, it makes sense. But to a normal sane person, people would think that you are insane. However, I know that you're a Mad Colt in a Blue Box." he said with a smile, heading towards the door. He pressed a button, then headed for the door, only to slam into the door again. That however did the trick as it opened for them.
Tegan and Turlough went through, with James tailing them. "Doctor, I don't think your Tardis likes me very much." he said, jokingly.
Outside of the Fifth Doctor's 's Tardis...
Tegan looked at him with shock. "How did you know what the Doctor's species was?" she said. James pretended to zip his lips, and kept them shut. Tegan leaned in on Turlough, then said, "I think he's just clammed up on us." he said. Suddenly, they heard another noise. A noise that sounded familiar. *VWOORP! VWOORP! VWOORP!* A Tardis started to dematerialize before them, which soon landed with a *THUD!* . "That's not good." James said, looking at the other Tardis.
Soon two ponies came out. One in a pink dress stepped out, and the other, was dressed in a hat and a long scarf. Then, finally following behind them was a robotic dog, with the word "K-9 " on the side. "Mistress, It appears that your human DNA has been Re-configured." the dog said. The pony looked at herself, then back at the other one. "Doctor, what happened to us?" she said. The Doctor, lifted up a hoof, then said, "Well frankly, I don't know my dear Sarah Jane. It appears that we are however off course." he said. Sarah Jane crossed her hooves, then said, "We're always off course." she said.
"I know how she feels." Tegan said, in a whisper. James then entered the Tardis going to alert them.
"Look, if the Rani is after us," Five said, "Then we must stop her and Vineyard at almost any cost." "Yes, but what is her plan?" Ten said. Both started to think. "Well, whatever it is, it involves more of you Doctor. Your Fourth regeneration has just appeared here with Sarah Jane." James said, coming in. "Sarah Jane." both Doctors said. Both looked at each other, then back at James. "Well come on, we have to go." he said, motioning the Doctors to follow him.
Sarah Jane was confused on why she looked like a pony, when suddenly, she noticed two other ponies standing there. "Um, excuse me... who are you two?" she said. Suddenly, the door opened as James ran out, followed by Doctor 10 and Doctor 5 to which they stopped dead in their tracks. This took the Fourth Doctor by surprise as he started to introduce himself. He suddenly felt his psychic presence from his two future selves. James smiled as he knew of the wacky Fourth Doctor who was a comedian of sorts.
"Hello, you must be the Doctor." James said, shaking his hoof. Then he looked at his companion. "And you must be Sarah Jane. It must be odd seeing him in a different form... I think." he said. James then started to think as his brain started to calculate what was going on. Sarah was however confused by the stranger who was addressing her and was the only human not turned into a pony. "W-who are you, and how do you know who I am?" she said, slightly frightened. James was still was still in deep thought as he calculated on what the odds that the other Doctors would end up on this planet with him and the other Doctors.
"Excuse me." "Hmm, ah yes." he said, snapping out of deep thought, "Your question, and it was how do I know you right?" Sarah Jane nodded in slight fear. James saw this, knowing that if he was in her shoes... or hooves, he would be slightly frightened by the stranger. "Well, I would explain it to you, but I need to wait for some others. I feel as though they're going to be here soon, if everything is calculated correctly... and if she is planning what I think she's planning." he said. Tenth Doctor understood what James mentioned then decided to talk to him privately.
"James, we need to talk." "I agree Ten. Five, you and Four keep an eye out for any of your different regenerations. Also, send your Tardises into some kind of Temporal Orbit or something will ya?" he said. They both nodded, then Four pulled out his Sonic Screwdriver. Meanwhile, The Tenth Doctor pulled out his and called back his Tardis, which came to their location. They both soon entered the Tardis, with James closing the doors behind them. He pressed his ear to the door, hearing if they were listening. As soon as he was done, he then turned towards the Doctor.
"Doctor, I think that the Rani wants to try and alter the timeline of what happened to Gallifrey, and she's getting help from your possibly alternate regeneration, the Vineyard." James said, standing at the walkway. The Doctor who was pacing the floor started calculating faster than James' brain, and then said, "Yes, It seems that I've come to the same conclusion. But why me?" "Well..." James started, expecting the Doctor to know. However, he needed a outside view. "You are a influential man Doctor. You have helped improve civilizations or burnt entire planets. Your name is burnt across the stars and you have a track record that doesn't stop. Heck, it even has inspired another universe to write stories in my world, Doctor!" James exclaimed.
"So, I see why she may try to change the timeline in my universe, but why did she pull you?" The Doctor said. James thought for a moment, then he said, "Because, I jumped into the Tardis before it actually de-materialized into the Time Vortex. I just hope that the Rani doesn't get me-AURGH!" Suddenly, James fell down, clutching his stomach and chest. The Doctor quickly galloped towards James, scanning him. As James groaned, he swore that he heard a dark feminine laughter, as if a villainess was getting her way. "James. James! Focus, listen to my voice and focus." The Doctor said. James' strange pain soon started to subside, as The Doctor continued to scan him.
Soon, James was able to sit up. The Doctor checked his sonic screwdriver, seeing what made James do that. He then noticed the readings that he was getting, seemed familiar from a event from long ago. "Wh-what is it Doctor?" James said, slightly weak from the event. The Doctor soon slowly turned towards James, afraid of what he just found inside his temporary companion.
Meanwhile, Outside...
"Doctor, why are you a horse? Why am I a horse?" Jo said. "It's called a pony." James said, coming out of the Tenth Doctor's Tardis, to which it rematerialized back into the Time Vortex. "And the reason why, involves a villainess who wants to rule all of time and space." James finished. Soon, another Tardis doors opened as a old man with a bowl haircut and wearing a jacket and bowtie stepped out, followed by a pony in a kilt and another in a hat and classic dress that would've fit in 1965.
"Ay Doctor, I think we overshot our time." Jamie said, looking around. The Second Doctor looked around as well, until he spotted his Third self. "Is that you ol' boy?" he said. The Third Doctor looked towards the different Tardis, seeing the Second Doctor waving at him. "Of course, It would be no surprise that whoever has knocked us off course would pull myself and my former companions off course." Third Doctor said.
The doors to the third Tardis opened, revealing a multicolored coat and a blond curly haired pony. "Where did we end up this time Doctor?" asked Perri. "And why am I a pony?" she asked, as she stepped out of the Tardis. "I have no idea Perri. All I know is that we're not where or when we're supposed to be." he said. Five looked at Six then said, "Six, is that you?" The Sixth Doctor looked at his Fifth self, then said, "Well, this is a surprise. I didn't expect this visit from my past self." he said.
James looked at The Tenth Doctor, to which he looked back at James, then they both looked back at the odd reunion. "I'm going to go look to see if anyone or anything is coming here to kill us." James said. Ten nodded, then went to help his past regenerations. James started walking up the pathway they found, and went to see the alien land above the vast canyon. He looked at the sun and the two moons set over the horizon.
"Man, I wish Paradox was real." "You rang?" a voice said. James turned to his left to see a man who was in his twenties, with slick black hair, and a pair of goggles around his neck. He wore a white scientist lab coat, a button up shirt, black slacks and black loafers. In his hand was a big pocket watch. This man surprised James completely. Finally, James said, "Would you believe me if I said that-" "You thought that I was fictitious? Of course I believe you, I've jumped the time tracks several times." Paradox said, putting away his pocket watch.
James nodded, expecting someone like Paradox to exist like the Doctor. "You know that you have a unusual history?" James said. "Why don't we cut the small talk and cut to the chase?" Paradox said, looking at him. James chuckled, trying to act natural for him at least. "You never seemed like the one for small talk, Prof. Anyways, I was wondering if I defeat a certain problem that's growing stronger." he said pausing, allowing his thoughts to gather. He then said, "Or does the darkness overcome my new home, my friends, my roommates, and the rest of the planet, ending with it being taken over by something I've only seen in nightmares?"
Paradox and James stood there in silence, allowing time to tick slowly as the planets and the burning star slowly went down over the horizon. "You know that I can't tell you your future, nor can the Doctor." "But what if I fail Paradox," James said, frightened, "What if my friends can't help me, and they fail?" Paradox continued looking at the horizon, then finally looked at James. "If you do fail, I can get help. But I feel as though that you and your friends will be able to defeat whatever comes your ways." he said with a smile. James smiled back, looking towards the strangers down in the canyon.
He then looked back towards Paradox, only to see two shoeprints, where Paradox once stood a few minutes ago. James sighed, tired of what was happening to him, wishing it would stop. He then shook it off, trying to focus on what was going on now.
Back Down at the Canyon...'Actually, come to think of it, what did happen to the Doctor? Oh I hope Charlie remembered to record the latest episode of Doctor Who, even though the 50th Anniversary isn't for another month.' James thought, as he soon realized at what he just thought. He then facepalmed himself, then walked towards his Doctor. ( AN: The one that James went with, not the one that is his favorite.)
One soon came out with Susan nearby. "I don't understand why we can't stay in the past Doctor." said Barbra, getting out of the Tardis. "Yes, I agree. Also, why are we small equine?" Ian said, looking at his hooves. "They're actually called ponies Ian, do keep up with what is going on." Eleven said, coming out of his Tardis. James couldn't help but snicker at what was going on. "Yes, but why are we this way Doctor?" Clara said. He was about to say something when he heard a familiar voice come from the Tardis. "Doctor, is that you?" "Amy?" he said.
Soon, out of the Tardis was a young Ginger female with a male following her. "Hon, why are you a pony? Why am I a pony? How did I get dressed in my modern day clothing?" he asked, as his tone started to raise higher. James chuckled a bit then said, "Well, gather around people, because this is going to be interesting." James said, as many different Doctors 1 through 11 surrounded him.
5 Minutes Later...
James stretched, then said, "Well, I expected as much, considering that you remember everything as it's happening Eleven." Eleven looked shocked that he somehow knew this. He finally spoke. "How the devil did you know that?" he said. James smirked, as if he knew the answer the whole time. "Simple. Have you ever read "Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox" Doctor?" The Eleventh Doctor shook his head, to which then James continued, "In the story, Artemis has to make his past self believe that he captured an endangered species. So while he's in the past, he starts to remember things at the same time that it happens."
"If I was working with my past self, I would erase his memory and send him back to the exact moment I got him, so when I did exactly that... well, you know." he said, with a smile. *CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!* James smile faded and his eyes started to widen as he slowly turned towards the sound of the clapping. Standing there near the edge of the canyon that all the Tardises were was one Rani and two Cybermen. Right next to them was two Daleks. James couldn't help but chuckle nervously, pulling off a bad poker face, as Rage Comic fans would've said.
Rani smiled, knowing that she had her prey. "Well Doctors, I finally have you where I want you. The last time I tried to take you on, I sent your Tardis in a different direction, stuck in a time loop." "Ah, I remember that. You were real stupid to try that miss." James said. He then quickly covered his mouth, wishing he could smack his brain for betraying him like that. The Rani raised an eyebrow, curious on how the boy knew what happened, when she only affected the Third to Seventh's Regenerations (minus the Fourth Regeneration). "How did you know that? Never mind, I'll figure it out when I deal with you, The Doctors and their companions.
"Eh, Welllll...." James started, trying to act nonchalant. "Well what?" she asked. James looked back up at her, then said, "Well, I've seen a lot of Sci-fi in my days." "Pray tell, what does that mean?" she asked, thinking that nothing could help them. "Well, that includes Star Trek and they're famous for their phasers." he said. At that exact moment, she was confused and what about to ask, "What does that mean?" , James pulled out a Mark III Phaser and shot Rani's laser out of her hands. "That means I know how to build a phaser properly." he said, looking at her shocked face. "Now, as someone once said, 'Run! Run like the Dickens!" he exclaimed, running down the canyon. The Doctors looked at what happened, then seconds later, they followed the scientist idea.
The Cybermen and Daleks started to shoot, but were too late, for the Doctors and their companions already followed James and were moving faster than before. They all soon entered a cave, hoping that they wouldn't be able to find all of them. "Well, I didn't expect that." James said, slowly turning towards everyone, "I totally didn't expect that at all." he said, as he slid down. The Doctors looked at each other, then they had an idea. "You thinking what we're all thinking?" Eleven said. They all nodded, agreeing that great minds think alike.
They soon all close their eyes, focusing on their heightened thoughts, trying to reach out to each other.
"Contact."
Soon, they felt their minds as they communicated, trying to create a plan, as ideas shot at the speed of light. Many of the companions were confused, except for two who had seen this before. James, who had seen "The Three Doctors" , and Jo, who had been there when her, the Third Doctor, the Second Doctor, the First Doctor, and U.N.I.T all got sent to a Anti-Matter universe.
They soon stopped, looking at each other, knowing what they must do. "It seems like a insane man's game." One said. Ten nodded, then said, "Yes, but it may work to our advantage..." "Due to the fact that the Rani doesn't know the new regenerations very well." Eleven said. They all nodded, knowing that all of them together were powerful enough to defeat the Rani. They were about to do something, when suddenly, they started to glow. "Oh no." Ten said. "Transmatt!" James exclaimed.
Suddenly, they disappeared right in front of the companions. They all looked at where they were. Finally, Ace said, "Where did the Professor go?" James looked down at where the Doctors' hoofprints were, rubbing his chin as he thought. "This was very, very, unexpected." he said, as he heard maniacal laughter in his head. He then turned towards the mouth of the cave, placing his hands behind his back in deep thought. "Very unexpected indeed."

Last Time...
The Tenth Doctor and James held on to the Tardis console as The Rani shot The Tardis multiple times, aiming the Tardis to the planet.
"You again?" Five said. "It's good to see you again Doctor." Ten said. James smiled, as the Tardis doors closed, then they closed as James slammed his face into the doors.
"There's something strange with that companion of the Doctor's." The Rani said. The Rani shot her laser at the Doctor and James, who hid behind the Tardis.
"Transmatt!" James exclaimed. A glow started to outline the Doctors, then they suddenly disappeared before their eyes.
James crosses his hands behind his back. "That was very, very, unexpected. Very unexpected indeed." he said, as he heard maniacal laughter in his head.

James Rouse and the Companions
The companions of the Doctor stood there in shock, except for James who was in a Shatner state of upsetness. Susan was pacing the cave as James muttered, "How dry I am. How dry I am..." "What's the matter with him?" Barbra asked. Ian looked at James, who didn't notice him staring or didn't care anything about it. "He's cracked." Ian said, "Has completely lost his mind."
Ace who was with her Doctor, and wanted someone to do something, decided to start with helping someone snap out of it. She opened her wings, steadied herself, aiming for him. Then, she flew, full speed at him, knocking him over. This shocked everyone, except for Ace (who was disoriented) an James (who was as well disoriented and on the ground, face first). He soon pushed himself up, shaking himself off. Then looked at the pony who hit him. He smiled again, after realizing that someone finally did something to snap him out of his weird depression. "Thanks Ace, I needed that." he said.
He then looked towards the other companions, seeing that he had his own special group of specialist. People who could help him get the Doctor, defeat the Rani, and if all possible... save the universe from being rewritten. "Ace, we need you." James said. She nodded, then entered the cave, joining the rest of the companions.
"Ladies, Gentlemen, Companions of the Doctor. Lend me your ears, as I ask of you to help come up with a plan to get back the Doctors you're with, Defeat the Rani and her plan, and if all possible," he paused, looking at all of who the Doctor asked to join, "Save the universe from being rewritten by a completely Mad Time Lady." They all nodded at what he mentioned as the air was tense with anticipation.
"The first thing we must do is figure out a way into the base of the Rani, and try to defeat her by out-smarting her. She may think that she's "Oh-so-clever", but I know The Doctor well enough to lead all of you to victory!" he said with a smile. "So the final question is... Who's with me?" he finally said. The companions looked at each other, trying to think about what James said.
James looked among the different faces who were with The Doctor, and had seen many things across the universe. Finally, they all started come towards James, to which Susan said, "So, what's the plan?" she said. James showed a nervous smile, followed by the fact that he chuckled nervously. "I was hoping to have a plan while giving you guys a pep-talk of sorts.
They all just groaned at exactly what happened, when suddenly a Classic Dalek appeared before them. "Where am I?" the Dalek said. James was also frightened, when he noticed what the Dalek had on. He had a black colored armor with a red bowtie on and several stickers that were familiar to him. He then realized why he looked so familar. "You wouldn't happen to be Dalek Bruce by any chance would you?" he said. The Dalek turned towards James, then said, "I am. Is this Who-Con?"
James shook his head, then said, "Friad not, you're on another planet and The Doctor is in trouble. Tell me, are you going to help us?" Dalek Bruce looked back and forth at the companions, then said, "Let's do this." He then motioned for them to gather around as he started to mention the plan he had in his head. He felt as though that it would work, but he was afraid of mentioning that 'Nothing could go wrong' . For him, it was asking Murphy to slap him upside the head.
James and his friends all pretended to get captured so Bruce could pull off the ultimate trick, getting into the base of the Rani and The Vineyard. James was slightly nervous, afraid the plan may not work, but he didn't dare say it to his friends who were equally nervous as him. Bruce, however was excited deep inside, but didn't allow himself to express the excitement out to his friends.
"HALT!" a voice said. James knew that it wasn't Bruce talking, so he knew that it was another Dalek. "YOU WILL IDENTIFY YOURSELF AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING!" it said. Dalek Bruce turned towards the other Daleks that were coming towards them. James hoped that the plan would work and Dalek Bruce was Dalek enough to fool other Daleks.I AM DALEK BRUCE, AND I FOUND THESE PRISONERS NEAR THE DOK-TOR'S TARDIS!" he exclaimed. James hoped that they would recognize a Dalek when they saw and heard one. One of them looked at the others, then back at Dalek Bruce.
"I NEED ASSISTANCE!" he added. "ASSISTANCE WILL BE PROVIDED, BRO-THER!" the other Dalek said. James gave a mental sigh of relief, then pretended to be afraid as one of them soon joined in helping Dalek Bruce. They soon made it to the place that they needed to be, when James turned around towards the other Dalek. "Just out of curiosity, what is your name?" he said, pointing at the other Dalek. "I AM DALEK SEC!" "Well then, sorry Dalek Sec." he said. Before he could ask, James soon smashed the eye stalk with a monkey wrench (Which he recently forgot that he was carrying several chapters ago until the plan was made off page). "AAAHHH! CAN'T SEE! CAN'T SEE!"
"Now we run!" James said, running towards a hiding place, as the others followed behind them. Dalek Bruce quickly followed, thankful that his shields were working for Dalek Sec was blasting all around. Soon, the blast bounced all around before getting destroyed by it's own laser blast. James turned towards his friends, then said, "How are all you?" he asked. They all murmered, telling him that they were all alright. He nodded in satisfaction, then turned towards Dalek Bruce. "Are you alright Dalek Bruce?" he asked. They all looked towards the Dalek, to which he replied, "I am alright. My systems are funct-ioning." he said. James smiled, knowing that he would probably have sheilds.
"Alright, this is where we split up. Ace, you, Amy, and Rory go set up explosives nearby. Jamie, you, Zoey, Ian, and Barbra will go mess with the computer systems. See what they're planning, while you Jamie deal with keeping an eye out for any Cybermen or Daleks. The rest of you, go and search for any way out and anything that could help us." "What about you?" Susan said. James stopped for a second, then said, "Well, I guess you and I are going to go stop The Rani and Vineyard. Anyone who wants to join, follow me." he said.
Rose soon followed behind James, as well as Sarah Jane, K-9, Susan, and Dalek Bruce. "Bruce, once we get to where we're needed, distract those two." James said. "I can do that." he said, heading in front of them.
The first team to make it was Jamie, Zoey, Ian, and Barbra soon made it to the computer. The computer was combination of Cybermen technology and Dalek technology. "Well, this is going to be interesting." Zoey said, "I wish I had someone to help with this." "Well, we could help. Just tell us what to do." Barbra said. "Yes, yes. It may be the way we can help, for we've never seen anything like this." Ian said.
Zoey nodded, then went back to figuring out the computer before her. She thought for a moment, then had an idea and decided to try out her idea. She quickly worked out the mathematics out in her head, then started programming the giant computer, while Ace meanwhile was busy setting up the bombs.
Meanwhile, back towards the Main Hallway..."I FOUND THEM WANDERING THE BASE. SHALL I DISPOSE OF THEM?" Dalek Bruce said. Both being looked at each other, then back at Dalek Bruce (although they didn't know that). "No," Rani said, staring at James, "Leave them here." she added.
'Bad move lady.' James thought, although he didn't exactly show it. "VERY WELL! I SHALL LOOK FOR OTHERS!" Dalek Bruce replied, heading out the door. The four companions looked before them seeing the Doctors all restrained to a table, hooked up to a machine. Sarah and Susan were worried, K-9 was calculating on the escape plan but said nothing. James, however, was a bit worried. He still had hope and prayed to God that he would help the one man who could get him back to Equestria.
"So, how does it feel to be helpless, Doctor?" Rani said, looking at all of them. "How does it feel, not being able to help anyone?" The Doctors, all Eleven of them, gave her a look that would be menacing, if he wasn't a pony per se. The Rani and Vineyard then turned towards the four companions. "And how does it feel to fail at rescuing the Doctor?"
"I don't know? How does it feel to fail so many times by a man who's as mad as a hatter, and as harmless as a bunny?" James replied with a smirk. The Rani nor the Vineyard were impressed by what he just said. "Have you got a death wish young man?" The Vineyard said. James shrugged at this, then said, "What exactly are you going to do, tickle them?"
The two of them looked at each other again, then turned towards The Doctors. He soon started setting up the control panel, preparing to activate it. “Well Doctor, this looks to be the end of your lives. Soon, I will suck all of your life force in one go and remove you from history altogether. This will make Rani, the most powerful Time Lady in all of history and me, the most powerful Time Lord in the entire UNIVERSE!” he exclaimed with a deep roaring laugh. People swear that there was thunder and lightning when he did that.
“And there’s nothing, no one in the entire universe that could stop me and The Rani.” “There’s just one snag to your plan Vineyard.” James said. This took both villains by surprise, causing them to quickly turn around to James. “What?!” they replied. “Yes, you have forgotten something. Try to guess what it is?” he said with a smile. The Vineyard and Rani tried to calculate what that was that they forgot, trying to figure out what he knew that they didn’t.
Finally, after calculating all possible outcomes, they asked, “What is it?” “Well, I shouldn’t tell you this, but here goes.” He said. James took a long deep breath, as he prepared to explain what happened. In a way, he was about to do a Jim Carrey.
“November 23rd, 1963 was the most important event in all of history, although the Doctor had a life before that on a beautiful planet of Gallifrey, he landed in London on that exact date before when he took a broken down Tardis and flew to explore the entire Space-time Continuum long ago in his life, although he was just a mere 100 years old when he took the Tardis. In that set of events over the course of his Twelve regenerations, his live has been more complicated, more complex and more insane than the most complex knot on earth or in the entire universe and on that note,” he paused for a moment, taking a look at them. “Have you ever considered what impact the Doctor has had on the universe you live in? Have you ever considered what impact The Doctor has on say my planet, on my existence?” he said. The two beings looked at the boy before them, confused on what he meant.
“This man is the ultimate hero. He doesn’t use a laser pistol, he has a screwdriver to fix things. His machine is shaped like a Police Box because the universe calls for help. And he has not one, but two hearts. As someone once said, I don’t think there will be a time when we don’t need The Doctor.” He turned back to them, and I don’t think there will ever be a time or place that doesn’t need The Doctor.”
James then smiled as he pressed the release button, then the button with black and yellow caution stripes. “NO!” both Rani and Vineyard said. With a click, the Doctors were released. They suddenly heard blaster noises coming from outside the door, when the door collapsed, revealing a blonde pony, with a wild blonde mane. “Hello sweetie.”
“I’ll be a monkey’s uncle. How are you doing River?” James said. River though was thrown by this question. She turned towards The Eleventh Doctor who shrugged at her by this. Suddenly they heard a loud voice say,
SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE ACTIVATED 60 SECONDS UNTIL IMINATE DESTRUCTION OF BASE THANK YOU FOR USING James’ Lab Technologies. HAVE A NICE EVENT.
Everyone looked back towards James, to which he replied calmly, “That actually makes sense now.” He soon quickly ran out the blast door, which confused everyone, until he came back and said, “Last one to their Tardis is a loser for all of eternity.”
They all looked at each other, then started to run out of the base. As James ran, he yelled for others to follow him out. The Doctors, Companions of the Doctors, and James all ran to their respected Tardis. Strangely enough, they knew which box was theirs. The Vineyard and The Rani quickly ran to theirs, but made it to theirs last, even though they were closest to their Tardis.
“Come on old girl. Why aren’t you moving?” he asked, giving the console a light tap with a hammer causing it to go ding. Just when he was about to try something, James said, "Wait. I think that we’re about to leave.”*VWOORP! VWOORP!*.
The other Tardises activated at that exact same moment, returning them to their proper times and places. The Rani and Vineyard however, rode their Tardises out of the explosion into other places. The Vineyard’s destionation was randomized and unknown, but the Rani’s Tardis took her to a place where she was planning on defeating The Doctor in a place in London allowing her to defeat The Doctor, although she had forgotten of the strange boy and the future regenerations of the Doctor.
James groaned, as The Doctor activated the auto-pilot. He suddenly realized that they were returning to Equestria. “Well, if that isn’t a coincidence I don’t know what is.” He said. James soon felt the pain subside away from him for now as he tried to get up. “The devices in their lab was invented by me. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was done on purpose just so you and I would know each other in time.” James said.
Everything was quiet at the house of James Rouse when suddenly, there was a noise, like an old machine breathing, as if it was alive. Soon, a Police Public Call Box started to appear in the front lawn of the house, landing with a thud.
James stepped out, seeing the familiar settings of life as he knew it. He took a deep breath allowing his mind to take in what had happened. James then turned back towards The Doctor who was leaning on his Tardis. He then said, “Thank you Doctor. Thank you for everything and for the adventure. The Doctor smiled a little, then started to frown.
“Something is wrong, isn’t it?” James said. The Doctor replied by nodding, slowly. He then added, “James, there will come a time when you need to defeat the darkness that is trying to defeat you and possibly take over this world.”
The Doctor and James looked at each other, then they both took a manly hug. They took another look at each other, not wanting to face the challenge, but he needed to. He felt that others may be hurt by this unexpected creature that is trying to take over the world.
They both gave a unsaid good luck, then went on their way. James went to his bike and rode to a nearby bar in Equestria, while The Doctor was getting involved with meeting Queen Elizabeth the First.
Author's Note
So now I finally finished that chapter, but that doesn't stop the story. The real fun begins soon, and I'm sorry that it's taken so long, but education can be more important than writing.

Intermission: A Scientist, A Magician, and A Bully Enter a Bar...
"...The bartender says, 'What is this, a joke?'" James then waves his hands in a jazzy fashion. The bartender looked at him with a deadpan look, as if he's heard the joke a million time before. "I don't get it." he said. James then becomes disappointed, then laid his head down. "Of course you don't." he said.
Lately, he was getting homesick and tired. After his adventure with The Doctor (one of his favorite heroes), he went back home, tired and depressed. He tried to be happy, and tried to help out. But he couldn't help Applejack get apples down, he wasn't very strong. 'Almost broke both my hand and my leg.' James thought. He couldn't help Fluttershy without the help of Charlie, who was strangely going on his own adventures. He couldn't help Rainbow Dash without the supervision of Twilight. 'She didn't like me giving experimental chems to just anyone.' he thought, getting even more depressed.
He tried to help Rarity, but to no avail. 'She's right. I have no sense in fashion.' he said, looking at himself. He then tried to help Pinkie, but he was depressed enough to make Pinkie Pie depressed. He finally tried Twilight, and all that lead to was a psychoanalysis from her. 'She's not a psychiatrist anyways.' he finally thought. He then looked at the drink before him, seeing the smoke come from the whiskey. He then lifted it up. "To my life, may it fill me with joy." he said, then drank down the shot.
He soon coughed as the drink burned down his throat. It then occurred to him one thing, he usually didn't drink. "Bartender, another drink please." he said. The bartender pony nodded, then walked off. While he's waiting, a door opened and one blue pony entered. She was wearing a purple cape and purple wizard's hat with silver stars in it. On her flank was a magic wand, and a sparkles. "You look familiar," James said, "What's your name?"
The pony looked at him, then she said, "The Great and Powerful Trixie will not reveal her name." James gave her a deadpan look at her. It took her five seconds to realize what she done, before she facehoofed. "Anyways, I'm James Rouse, and I can see that you're having a ... time?" he said, as he tried to figure out how to talk to new ponies. He was never good at talking normally to people or ponies.
He suddenly heard the bartender get into trouble. "Gah!" "Can it shorty, just give me a drink!" a female voice said. James turned towards the voice, seeing a griffon sitting next to him. "Right away Gilda." he said, as he ran to service her demand. Gilda looked then towards James, who was trying to figure out why she looked so familiar. "What are you looking at?" she yelled. Trixie turned back towards the counter, James however just said, "You, being mean to him. What he ever do to you?" Gilda was taken aback by this comment, surprised that the stranger had done this. She then shook it off, and said, "It was because he was looking at me funny." The bartender then gave Gilda her drink.
"Hey bartender, how many griffons do you usually get in this bar?" James said to him. The bartender looked at him, then said, "Rarely any." James nodded, then said, " You see why he's looking at you oddly, he's hardly seen you or your kind here before." The bartender nodded, then gave James his drink. James then grabbed the bartender gently. "Hey pal, give the miss over here a drink as well will ya?" he said. The bartender nodded, then he left to get a drink. James nodded in satisfaction, then looked over at Gilda, who was still mad. "What's got you in a foul mood?" he said.
Gilda looked at him, surprised again. "Was that a joke?" she said. James thought for a moment, thinking of what he said, then he replied, "No, not really. Why?" "Because I didn't find it really funny." she said. James just shrugged, then turned towards Trixie. "So, what's your problem Trixie?" he said. Trixie lifted her head, and looked towards the young Scientist. He seemed warm, like a friend that was always there. "Alright, if you insist on hearing the story of my problem."
So there sat James, hearing Trixie's story. She told her story of how she was wowing the audience, how she handled fighting against the Mane Six, how she was busy sleeping when two idiots (James knew them as Snips and Snails, kind fellows, but not very bright unfortunately) woke her up and told her of the Ursa they awoke. "I was frightened by the beast that stood before me, and so I ran-." "Ha, figures! I would've handled it myself." Gilda said. James looked at Gilda, then said, "Yeah, and you would be dead, digesting in the monster's belly before you could've said, 'Stick em' up!'." James said sarcastically.
Gilda looked at him again, with now her jaw dropped open. James turned back to Trixie, then he added, "And close your mouth. You'll be liable to get flies in that beak of yours." She closed her mouth, surprised that he stood up for not only himself, but for what he considered a friend. James then motioned for Trixie to continue. She nodded, then continued. "I tried to stop him with ropes, but it didn't work. So, I hid for a bit. And that's when Twilight showed up." she said.
"She soon started using her mental powers to seduce the Ursa by picking it up and rocking it, then gave it milk. She then carried it back to it's cave, where it rested. Turns out that it was a Ursa Minor, A simple Ursa Minor, and I THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE COULDN'T HANDLE A SIMPLE URSA MINOR?!?!" "Careful," James said calmly, "You'll wake something." Trixie looked at him, to which he took another shot of whiskey. He shivered as it went down his gullet. Trixie sat down, then said, depressingly, "I left town, as I realized that I was in trouble." "*PFFfff!* For what? Doing some simple magic tricks?" he said. She nodded. James was surprised by this, and leaned in on the table, placing his hand on his forehead.
"What has the world come to?" he said. Gilda, who heard the whole story, felt something that she didn't normally feel, compassion. James then looked at Gilda, and said, "Well, what about you? What's your story?" Gilda snapped out of it, to which she then started telling her story. She told of the meeting with her old friend, and her new friends. James listened in on Gilda's story, hearing the points of yelling at Pinkie and Fluttershy. When the tale was done, Gilda looked at James, to which he had the look of utter shock.
"Ok, I can actually see why Rainbow Dash unfriended you." "AW COME ON! So, I yelled at her friends. So what?" she exclaimed. James took another shot, surprised that he wasn't drunk yet, or he was drunk, and he didn't realized it. "There are three problems to your story. One, You yelled at Pinkie Pie. She heard that you liked pranks, so she did them for you." he said, calmly. Gilda took this into thought as she remembered yelling at Rainbow Dash. "Two, you yelled at Fluttershy. That's like kicking a puppy." He then stared into space. "Poor, innocent Fluttershy." he said, now drinking water. "And Three. Now this is the most important. You didn't apologize for any of the things that you did." he said. "You did do a pretty bad thing back there. Even I wouldn't yell at Fluttershy." Trixie said.
Gilda, who had thought about these things, started to realized that, strangely he was making sense. "Look, If you really want to get Rainbow Dash back, apologize and accept her friends as what they are." he said. Gilda pondered this, while James turned back to Trixie. "And I think that you need to apologize to the people for running away. It would work better if you were some mystical storyteller, telling your tales and travels that kids will believe and adults would know isn't real." he said. He thought for a moment, then he muttered, "That may explain why there aren't any fantasy writers here in Equestria."
He then grabbed a bottle of whiskey, labeled ironically enough "Applejack Daniels", then he poured out three shots for the three of them. "To the future, whatever it may hold. For the better or the worst of days, may the road rise up to meet ya, and kiss ya right in the smacker." They clinked glasses together, drank their share, then James payed for his. He then got up and headed back home. "Hey wait, we haven't heard your story." Gilda said.
James paused for a moment, as he stood there. He then turned towards them with a smile, and said, "Another time my friends. I hope life is good to both of you in the future." he said. He then left out the doors, as they heard the sound of a bicycle bell. Both thought of the advice of the stranger, then Gilda asked Trixie, "Who was he?" "I think his name was... James." Trixie said.
Both then went back to their drinks, remembering the friendly dude. James smiled as he rode his bike, feeling good that he could talk some sense to Trixie and Gilda. He was curious to what tomorrow would hold.

I wrote this, for the fact that I'm planning on re-writing this story to be more extensive and explain more. I'm also going to try and tweak on my character writings, for they seem... non-legit.
I'm otherwise placing this story on Hiatus, for the fact that I have two other stories, about to be three, in the mix.

Chapter 21: Into the Mind: The Brain ElevatorDear Princess Celestia,
My scientific discoveries have been successful so far and crazy as heck, but now I need your help. Some time ago I fell out of my house during the dimensional twister event. When that happened, I had a weird dream where it was almost Wizard of Oz-like when I looked down the twister to see events of the Mane Six and their adventures.
I suddenly fell out and into the twister where I almost got touched by some dark, smoke-like entity and… I woke up. But I never forgot that dream, but I did have weird nightmares. Nightmares that I didn’t have until I came here to your planet, Equestria.
Please come at once, and you may bring the Mane Six if you think that they can help in any way, but it’s your choice.

Twilight looked at the letter, then looked back at Princess Celestia. “I’m preparing to go to James’ house and I thought that you and your friends may want to help with this.” Twilight looked at her friends, who were all ready to help their newest friend that was nice from the beginning.
“From what I was told from my sister, the darkness took hold of her and formed from her mind a being of pure darkness. I’m thinking that it may be the same entity that took my sister long ago.” Princess Celestia said. Twilight smiled confidentially, then replied, “Don’t worry Princess Celestia. My friends and I can handle it.” “The question is that, Can James handle it?” Princess Luna said, fearing the worse.
“Don’t worry Princess Luna. James has self control until the next few chapters.” Pinkie said. Celestia and Luna looked at each other, then back at Twilight. She could only reply, “James theorized that Pinkie can see in other dimensions which would make sense.”
Soon, at James’ residential home…*Teleportation signal found.
Princess Celestia + Twilight Sparkle +6 more ponies.
“Allow them in.” he said. The computer replied with a ding, and suddenly there was a blast of energy that brightened the entire room for a brief moment. Soon, surrounding James’ bed was Princess Celestia and the Mane Six. James smiled at them. Then, he suddenly passed out, falling into a dream-like sleep.
Curious, Princess Celestia noticed the sticky note on James’ lab jacket. The note said this,
Follow me down the rabbit hole.
They questioned it, but they never actually thought about entering James’ dream. Celestia looked at Luna, to which Luna looked back at her sister. They knew exactly what they needed to do, and they were going to bring the Elements of Harmony with them.
She nodded without a word, and then turned towards Princess Celestia. “We’re ready when you are.” Twilight said. She nodded then looked at Luna, who nodded too.
They soon started to activate their powers as they prepared to enter the mind of James. They however didn’t know what to expect with the eccentric scientist.
Suddenly, they were in an elevator, but it wasn’t an ordinary elevator. Replacing the panel with numbered buttons that lead to different floors, there was a small square-ish panel with a screen attached to it.
Twilight looked around the elevator, until it saw the panel. She reached out with her frontal hoof and touched the screen. Soon, there was a *Beep!* and soon, she removed her hoof, revealing a hoof print on the screen. “Welcome, Twilight Sparkle.” It said on the screen. Twilight looked around at her friends, then turned towards the computer screen.
“Hello, c-can you locate James please?” She asked. The computer, which thankfully had a mic feature, it said, “Hello, can you locate James please?”
Suddenly, the screen changed to “Search for: James” with a loading sign. Soon, the elevator moved with a CLANK! BANG!, and a *Creeeak!*. As it hummed, the elevator took them through several parts of James’ mind. The doors became transparent for a moment, showing some of James’ mind.
One of the floors that they pass reveals an odd radio station , clean and classic, with a man that isn’t too tall, but isn’t too short, and on his face… was the smile on his face, really a smile? As the man talked, his voice was as smooth as silk. In the window, there was a man with tannish skin, and a lab coat. His black hair had long flowing locks and a jaw like a gentleman soilder.
“I hav’ta agree Twilight. What exactly was that?” Applejack said. Twilight looked at the computer screen which said, “NOW LEAVING: WtNV”. Twilight’s only reply was “I have no idea, but it must’ve been something from James’ memories, maybe his imagination.
Twilight took mental notes on some of the machines. One of them looked familiar. The one she looked at was a Blue “Police Public Call Box”, glowing and humming. Another looked like a Phone booth with an odd antenna sticking out of the booth. Another had a figure dressed in Victorian Era clothing, ridding a strange clockwork machine with a large disk behind it and a lever with a cylinder attached to bars surrounding the machine.
Rainbow Dash and Applejack saw two figures. One was dressed in what appeared to be pirate clothing of the era, and another was dressed more different. The young boy appeared to be dressed in a striped shirt, jean pants, and a pair of Nikes on his feet.
Celestia and Luna noticed that the odd looking vehicle appeared to be some sort of horseless carriage, made to look like a spaceship. Next to the carriage was a young teenage boy, wearing a button up shirt, a jean jacket, and… what appeared to be a life preserver. He also wore jean pants and Nike Mag shoes on his feet. The older man next to the teenage boy had wild white hair, a plastic jumpsuit with a radiation symbol on his yellow gloves and pocket, and tennis shoes. In the old man’s hand was what appeared to be a box with a long metal pole sticking out of it.
The elevator doors became opaque again and continued to move again. Twilight thought about the strangeness and knowledge that James had in his brain.
Suddenly, the elevator stopped, as its doors became transparent again. It soon revealed a place, never seen before, but Luna seemed to recognize it almost instantly. “No, it can’t be.” She said.
The others looked at her, then Celestia said, “What is it sister?” “T-this is the moon.” Luna replied. The place looked different from her moon, as she and many others heard the sound of what appeared to be dramatic music. The crater appeared to be man-made, as it was surrounded by specialized equipment for airless space and there was a ramp.
Soon, several people in odd looking astronaut suits started to walk towards the man-made crater. Inside the crater, was what appeared to be a black slab made out of a mysterious material that no one knew.
The astronauts stood there for a moment, before they went down the ramp to take a closer look at it. Twilight started to remember James saying something about this.
‘Twilight, you don’t know about mystery. Sometimes that’s the fun part, trying to figure out the mystery of things. Like in this movie, several astronauts had found something buried on the moon. They didn’t know what it was, and they go to figure it out.’
The astronauts look around it, trying to figure out what it was.
‘One of them named Heywood Floyd, who later goes on a mission in 2010, goes up to the strange thing that is named the Monolith. However since they’re up on the moon, they call it the…’
Twilight opens her eyes, and notices that the astronauts are doing the same thing, as if they can hear it.‘As it made a noise, the astronauts would cover their ears, but couldn’t. It wasn’t that there was something wrong with their radios on their helmets. It was the Tycho Monolith producing a powerful radio signal saved by advanced beings of long ago.’
James smiled in awe, ‘It was the Tycho Monolith greeting the morning sun on the moon.’
Soon, the sound faded, as the doors turned opaque again and the elevator moved. They all removed their hooves from their ears as they rode the elevator to the next floor, with Twilight thinking deeper about what goes on sometimes in James’ mind.
Soon, the elevator stopped with a ding.

Chapter 22: Into the Mind: Through James’ Psyche and What the Others Found There
The Elevators doors opened, revealing James pacing the floor backstage. They heard people behind the curtain getting restless. James then saw his friends walking out of the elevator, and smiled at them. “Guys, I thought that that was the end of seeing you.” “What do you mean?” Pinkie said, a bit curious. “Well, the dreams are getting worse and worse, as well as some waking dreams in real-life.” He said, hugging almost all of them. He then saw Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. He gulped seeing Princess Luna. “Hello, Princess Celestia. Um… may I ask a question, if you don’t mind?”
She nods to James, to which he clears his throat in a semi-dramatic, semi-comedic, manner. “WHY IS SHE HERE?” James exclaimed, pointing at Princess Luna. Everypony was confused at what James meant. “I chose to come here for the fact that what you wrote in your letter seems similar to what I had years ago when-.” “When you were Nightmare Moon. That’s why I didn’t want you here in my head.” James said, disappointedly.
“I was trying to protect you from it happening again.” “That’s why you wanted us, to help you wit’ Nightmare Moon.” Applejack said. James nodded, feeling some kind of shame. “Well, if that’s what you’re calling it. For some time on Equestria, I have no idea what I was dealing with.” He sighed as he felt frightened, and strangely enough cold, as if the heat in the room was sucked out of where they were standing.
Suddenly, they hear the roar of a crowd behind the curtain that they were standing in front of. James looks at his friends, and they looked back at him, both in confusion. They soon turn back to the curtain and went through it, ending up in front of millions of ponies, and behind a different James. One that was dressed in military uniform, looked more kept up with, and darker than the scientist that was mind-trapped. “You, the ponies should get a say in what happens here in Equestria. I say that the Princesses should go!” The other James said, causing a sound of applause emitting across the crowd. James looked at the Princesses, who were in shock, then back at the other James.
James noticed that this other version of himself seemed to have much darker skin, almost a dark blue, like the night sky. His hair was sleek like a sleazy car salesman selling snake oil, only much more deadly. “Was the princesses here when they saved all of you from Nightmare Moon? No, they were busy while the common pony saved your life.”
“Untrue!” James exclaimed, as he took a step forward. However, his cry for truth went unheard by the ponies and the other James. “Did they help in any crisis across Equestria? NO! They didn’t really help, they took over this planet.” “Slanderous Lies!” James cried out again.
The, Dark James, looked over his shoulder with a dark evil smirk. He then went back to talking to the other ponies. “This is why I plan on taking over the horrible dictator known as Princess Celestia and her sister, Princess Luna unless they conform to what will be the New World Order!” The Dark James exclaimed as there was a roar of ponies who thought that this was a good idea.
The ponies started chanting as James felt a chill run down his body. “I feel as though we’ve entered the Dark Side of the Moon girls. As if, we’ve hit The Wall.”
James realized that she had activated something in James’ mind causing him to realize something was wrong. His mind fought back with something familiar, as his horrors appeared to come to life. As the ponies chanted, the James look-alike, pointed to James as if he was trying to affect him. James looked down at himself, seeing darkness change his clothing into something unfamiliar, into dark military clothing as they saw the James look-alike slowly turn into a anthro Nightmare Moon.
“Run!” James exclaimed as he ran out behind the curtains into an empty field. As they ran, flew, whatever they did, they felt a deep darkness start to follow them. They started feeling the memories flow through as they ran through them. James was frightened, until he realized that his friends were there with him.
He suddenly ended up inside a funhouse mirror which included different versions of him, warning him of the dangers of what could happen to him and his friends. Images flashed through his head, before they soon came out, running again from the darkness that seemed to be affecting the landscape as it started running to him.
As they ran through a strange town, there were a strange Nazi-type of soilders trying to kill all of them. As they ran, they heard the warnings from the others, ‘Probably projections of my mind.’ James thought as he ran. They soon came to a stop at a wall, white, and it appeared to have barbwire on top. He looked around to see that he was surrounded and doomed. Suddenly the wall exploded, allowing James and his friends to run away over the horizon to the unknown. Possibly to escape the world he knew of in his mind.
The one place where he could create his ideas in peace was being invaded, and now he needed to find paradise again.'But how?' he thought as everything started to fade back into reality, 'How can I bring back paradise?'

Chapter 23: A Scientist and His Boomstick
James jolted awake as he started to feel ill again. He fought his mind trying to get it to believe that he wasn’t really sick. As he sat up, he saw his friends surrounded around him, all asleep. He then got pass them and started to work on a formula that could kill the famed or infamous Nightmare Moon. ‘If I can’t exactly kill her with my experiments, I’ll die trying.’ He thought, then muttered under his breath, “If she doesn’t take over first.” Time seemed to dilate as he worked to try and take Nightmare Moon out of his equation, his body equation, but so far… no luck.
Meanwhile, In the Realm of Dreams…
“We must come up with a plan.” Luna said. “What if we blasted him with the Elements of Harmony?” Twilight said. Celestia and Luna looked at each other, then back at Twilight. “There’s too much at risk, besides using them on someone who can be unpredictable. It may also rewrite his entire mind.” She said.
Back at James’ Basement Lab…‘Or the beginning of something wonderful.’ James heard something say. He took in a sharp breath as he looked around. He then looked at the machine, seeing how much she had taken over and what parts she did take over.
“55% and counting… Thankfully, over certain spots of the mind.” James said to no one. He looked down at a drawer to where held a pistol. He dare not think of what he may have been planning, for fear of… her knowing. Plus, just thinking about it made him sick to his stomach. He then looked at his friends, seeing that they were all peaceful creatures and intelligent as well. He was afraid of what would happen if she got her hoofs on his knowledge and information, as well as some of his inventions.
It could spell the doom of the world. He then started tweaking his latest chemical invention, until it was perfect. He smiled, feeling that it was complete. He then noticed himself in the mirror. Walking towards the full length mirror, he looked like he was being dragged through hell. His skin was starting to turn into a dark blue, and he looked tired. His brown hair was going from a dark brown to a different shade of blue. He gulped in fear of what he was becoming, when he heard a sound behind him.
James looked back to see his friends wake up from their nap. He then went over to a table to see that his experiment was ready. “Twilight, I have a solution, but I need your help.” James said to her as she woke up.
Twilight shook her head, then looked at James, who looked less familiar to her. Deep down, she knew who exactly it was and felt sorry for him. As the others woke up, James explained the plan to Twilight so if something bad happened, she could have his house and hopefully she would explain to her family what happened.
“I need you to watch me and see if any physical or mental changes come over me. If I’m not myself, use this if you have to.” He said, slamming a six-shooter on the counter. She looked at it and gasped, knowing exactly what it was. She then looked at him. “I feel that you’re the only one who can stop me if things get bad, because if you can’t stop me… then nothing and no one can.” She nodded, then stood back as James grabbed the beaker full of fluid and gulped it down. The formula flowed down his gullet and was absorbed into the bloodstream. Suddenly, he had sporadic twitches and unexpected changes. The monitors went crazy as this happened, to which caused Twilight to levitate the pistol next to her.
He then suddenly fell to the ground with a thud. “James!” she exclaimed as she was about to run towards him, but stopped suddenly. The monitors reading started to glitch for a moment as the seconds tick and as it checked on James.
Finally, a hand suddenly popped out from behind the counter and slammed it on the surface, then the other. Twilight aimed the gun towards James, when she and the many others noticed the color in James’ hands change back to its normal colors.
He then suddenly popped up as they heard a high-pitched scream that sounded like it came from inside James. “How’d you like the taste of that, eh?” he said. He then looked at his friends and proudly exclaimed, “I’m cured!”
He jumped over the counter and landed on his feet. He then started feeling something off with him, as the sound of something in his body changing reached his ears. He started scratching his left shoulder (right shoulder if faced in his direction), which caused Twilight to worry.
“James, is something wrong?” She said, as she got close to him. “Maybe it’s a side effect?” Pinkie said. James shook his head, then said, “I highly doubt that it is a side effect, because if it is, it’s annoying.”
He then pulled his shoulder out of his shirt and noticed an eye growing out of his shoulder. “AAAHHH!” he exclaimed as he quickly ran out of the lab. “James, wait!” Twilight said, as she and the rest of her friends followed James out the door.

Twilight followed James, until she couldn’t see him anymore. They soon ended up in a clearing in the Everfree Forest. Soon, the others caught up with Twilight, and ended up helping her look for James.
They soon heard a howling noise and turned towards the noise to see James standing there with two heads. One was manically laughing and punching his other self while the other looked frightened. He jumped down to where they got a closer look at him and saw that one had a dark blue skin while the other looked normal. This made it easier for them to see who was who.
The darker version of James punched him again while laughing manically. The other finally looked mad and poked his eyes out with a *POINK!*. “Ow! Oh, my eyes.” The other James said. He smiled manically, before causing James to go through pain again.

Yes, I did just use something from a movie I haven't seen. I did see some clips of this unusual horror-comedy.
When I saw that scene before I wrote this story, it must've implanted itself in my mind before getting a great idea for future chapters of this story. I will tell you that this is for those who like cult classics like me. I like Buckaroo Banzai and many of you readers like Army of Darkness.

James VS Dark James: Part 1: Round 1
Chapter 24: James VS Dark James Pt. 1: Round 1
“Hey kiddo, Didja miss me?” James said, giving Twilight some noogies. Soon, the other Mane Six and the Princesses surrounded him with joyous sounds. “Woah! That was amazing! TherewasalotofscreamingandAAAHHH! Andsomesoundsoflaserblastingand-” Pinkie took another breath, before James said, “Alright Pinkie, I get it. I was there, remember?” James looked at her, before she gave her “Oops!” smile.
James just shook his head, then said, “It’s good that things are going back to normal.” “As if!” A familiar but different voice said, causing them to look towards the source. All of them turned towards the sound of where the voice came from. They soon turned to see Dark James, who looked similar to him, yet different. He was dressed in a lab coat, t-shirt, jeans, and converse shoes. His skin was a dark blue, and his hair was almost as black as the night, with stars that appeared to glitter.
James went forward and looked at his dark-looking counterpart. “You’re Nightmare Moon, as me?” James said. Dark James gave an evil smirk to James and the ponies before him. “Exactly scientist! I escaped you thanks to you and your ignorance.” Dark James said, to which he soon went into maniacal laughter.
James thought for a moment, and then said, “I don’t think ignorance was the word you’re looking for.” Dark James stopped, “What do you mean?” “I mean that my chemical was supposed to purge the darkness out of me, and it did it in the most possible way it could do it, with an instant clone.”
“Still, you can’t stop me.” Dark James said. Before James could ask why, he held out his hand. A glow started to form around both Dark James’ hand and James. Soon, James started to float around, being tossed around. “Hey, hey! Put me down!” James exclaimed, as he flew around. Dark James gave an evil smirk, “As you wish.” He said.
He lifted James higher and higher until he let him go, causing him to drop. As he screamed, Twilight focused her energy on James. As he fell, a glow of energy flowed around him causing him to see purple. He soon started to feel himself slow down on his descent, until he landed on his feet. Twilight let go, falling down from the strain on her.
James quickly ran towards Twilight, checking on her. “Thanks for saving me.” “Thanks for not giving up on yourself.” She replied, as she layed there. “No! This will not do,” Dark James said, as he raised his hand to strike, “This will not do at all.”
Suddenly, there was a blast of energy that came from Dark James’ hand, heading straight for Twilight and James, when suddenly (again), the energy was suddenly deflected off of Twilights’ friends who quickly surrounded James and Twilight. Soon, Dark James stopped and was surprised by what he saw, which was a force field around James and the other Mane Six.
All Dark James could say was, “How… is this possible?” The shield suddenly faded, as James looked up at the shocked counterpart. “The better question is why are you doing this?” James said, as he got up and turned towards his dark counterpart.
This made Dark James mad. “Well, who was taken over by me?” “Not me. I got rid of you and you can’t enter me.” James said, with a smirk. He then turned towards his friends, and gave them the ok sign. He didn’t , however, notice Dark James sneak up behind him, as quick as a blur, and stab his hand into his back.
Dark James smiled evilly as darkness spread through James. The Mane Six gasped in surprise as this happened. It soon completely got James for a moment, as if he was mind controlled, before he grunted. He started to feel the darkness leaving his body to which it escaped through his mouth and nose as vapor. The vapor soon returned to Dark James, who stood there surprised. “What? Impossible!” he exclaimed in rage.
James shook his head quickly, allowing the dizziness to leave his head. He soon realized what happened, and attempted to punch his evil counterpart. Dark James quickly caught James’ punch and started to kick him in the stomach, to which James blocked a couple of times, before they started fighting in a Matrix-like style with their kung-fu, and Jujitsu style of fighting. Both were able to defend themselves, with James getting in a few hits more than Dark James. “I didn’t know Nightmare Moon knew how to fight.” Luna said, to which Twilight said, “She didn’t, I think she got that from James.”
Dark James suddenly used his power to blast James, to which James somehow protected himself with a shield. This took everyone by surprise, including James. Dark James stopped, to which James’ shield powered down. James looked at himself in surprise, checking if he was still in one piece.
“Grrr, fine. You may have won this part James, but you can’t defeat me. Nor can you or your friends defeat me. Today is peace; tomorrow… darkness will fall over Equis… FOREVER!” Soon, Dark James menially laughed as black smoke surrounded him, before disappearing into the unknown, leaving his echoes laughter, fading farther and farther away.
“Well, what do we do now partner?” Applejack said. The others looked at each other, wondering what to do. James then turned towards his friends, knowing that Nightmare Moon would be back. “Right now, we should all head home. Meanwhile, I’ll see where this power I got came from, although I have a theory.” James said. “But how can we tell the difference between you and this other James?”
James thought for a moment, before saying, “How about James Moon?” “Nah, it sounds like you’re a hippy?” Pinkie said. James thought again, before saying, “Dark James?” They thought for a moment, before Luna said, “That may work, Scientist.”
“Yes, well, there is still the problem of him running around, causing havoc.” Celestia said, worried about her subject’s lives. “Don’t worry Princess Celestia; we’ll have a plan by tomorrow. Until then, I need you to keep all guards on high alert for a bi-pedal creature that looks similar to me.” James said.
Celestia nodded, then looked at Twilight who was asleep, “Princess, can you take Twilight home, and if all possible, meet us at Twilight’s library tomorrow? We may need your help in preparing for the worst.” Celestia nodded, saying, “Yes, I will take Twilight home, but I don’t know if I can make it to Twilight’s home? It may be better if you come to Canterlot.”
James nodded, and then exclaimed, “Alright, then tomorrow, we head off to… Canterlot!”

This story is going exactly as I am wanting it to go, with a few surprises that my brain seemed to conjure up out of the blue. Anyways, this story is brought to you by me and my strange brain.

Chapter 25: To Canterlot! For Danger Approaches
She was about to head to her dining room/kitchen when she suddenly felt a strange magical presence. Suddenly, there was a *POP!* and James suddenly came into existence. This took Twilight by surprise, as she didn’t see James protect himself against Dark James.
He looked around the area, with a smile on his face. He then turned towards Twilight, removing his goggles from his face. “Ah, Twilight! It’s good to see you up and about. How are you feeling?” James said. Twilight was surprised that James did that. She then asked, “James, how did you teleport?” “Well, I figured that it was like “Jumper”, imagine the image of where you want to go, focus, let the energy flow through you, and circulate until it teleports you to your destination.”
“Anyways, didn’t I tell- well, no I didn’t.” James said, as he started to mumble to himself on the idea of what he was trying to explain.
“James, what happened while I was passed out?” Twilight asked, as she headed for her dining room table. “Well, yesterday Dark James, that’s what we’re calling him,” he started, explaining it to Twilight, “he tried to attack me. He first tried to fill me with darkness and control my mind. That didn’t work as the chemical that I took made me immune to it and my body not accept the darkness, so we fought for a moment. He then tried to blast me, and somehow- I don’t know how- I protected myself by producing a shield around me and saving me from being destroyed.”
She nodded, eating her eggs and hay bacon. Spike, who had cooked Twilight’s food, went to the table and eat his food. “Want some?” “No thanks Spike, I already ate.” James replied to Spike. “So, how did you get those powers?” Spike asked as he ate his eggs. “My theory,” James started as he started to think, “is that when Nightmare Moon was fused with my DNA, she and I gained new things when we separated. She gained some of my memories, and I gained some of her powers, but the power is positive instead of negative like Dark James.”
“We have to defeat him though, for the fact that he may use those memories to pull Earth into darkness.” James said. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. James got up from the table and went over to the front door. He opened it, revealing one of Celestia’s guards.
“You are required to come to Canterlot at once.” The guard said. James smiled, then said, “One moment sir. My friends need to finish their breakfast.”
A few minutes later…
The cart soon landed right in front of Celestia’s castle. Soon, they quickly went to the throne room where Celestia and Luna sat. “Greetings Twilight, I see that you are well?” “Yes Princess Celestia, I am fine, but I’m curious on how James got his powers?”
“Why do you fear for your planet?” “Because,” James started, clearing his throat, “she may try to cover Earth in darkness.” Celestia nodded, thinking about James’ world being pulled into deeper chaos by a darker being. “Well, shall we begin?” Princess Luna said. Everyone nodded in agreement, and thus the meeting began.
As the meeting began, they started to plan for the worst of problems. James however felt a disturbance in his body. Far away from James and his friends, in a castle that was falling apart was the castle that Nightmare Moon was defeated in long ago.
Soon, two toonish eyes landed where they should’ve been. Soon the rest of the body soon faded into existence, showing a boy with brown spikey hair, a red bowtie on him, and a blue jacket. He also wore white gloves for hands, his pants were a darkish green, and his shoes were bright green, with yellow that made them look like there were wings on them.
“Character.” Dark James said, as anger filled him. “Now don’t be angry Dark James. I’m not here to try and destroy you.” The Character said. This confused Dark James, as he knew deep within him that this… Marisu was about to cause something to go wrong with his plans.
“Please, I just go from place to place and only interfere when and where I need to.” The Character said, as if he was speaking to another entity that seem to be there. “What are you doing here, Character?” “Me? Well, I heard you’re fighting one of my friends that I’ve been keeping an eye on.”
Dark James thought for a moment, then realized what he ment. “You gave James his powers.” He accused. “No, the universe balanced it with James’ chemicals. I just gave him a nudge in the right direction.” He said with a smile.
“That what I’m hoping to do to him. Defeat him, take back Princess Luna, and bring this world to eternal darkness.” Dark James said. He then paced the floors as he started to think of a calculated way of defeating James. The Character, who had appeared to watch Dark James make a fool of himself, floated slightly above him and started munching on popcorn while sitting on a theater seat.
Dark James tried to ignore him, but found it hard for the fact that The Character was munching on popcorn loudly. He kept trying and it got harder and harder until Dark James snapped. He then launched a blast of energy that should’ve destroyed anyone, in rage. Soon, the theater chair, whatever popcorn, and the popcorn container fell to the ground. The chair looked mangled, and the popcorn container had a huge flaming hole in it.
Suddenly, Dark James was lifted off the ground, but not by his own accord. “Wha-? Put me down Character, put me down this instance!” He exclaimed, as he floated high above the ground. Character looked at where a screen should be, then said, “You folks should respect your elders. They’re a lot wiser than they seem.”
The Character smiled, then turned back to Dark James. “Well DJ-.” “It’s Dark James!” “Whatever doofus. Remember that I’m friends with the big man upstairs. So, he could easily destroy you with just a snap of his fingers. No, just a word, and you’re gone in a puff of smoke.”
Dark James looked at The Character with disdain, but then just floated over The Character with his arms crossed and with a pout on his face. The Character chuckled for a moment, before he slowly lowered him on his feet.
The laughter soon started to fade, and soon Dark James went back to his deep thinking.
Back at Canterlot, in the throne room of the Princesses, James and many of his friends were trying to figure out how to defend Canterlot and possibly all of Equis from Dark James. James’ secondary concern was to protect his Home Planet from Dark James, if and only if, they couldn’t stop him at Equis. If they couldn’t stop him from bringing Equestria into eternal darkness, the least they could do is stop him on Earth.
But that was if, Dark James figured out how to get off of Equis and onto Earth. But he didn’t want to think about that, now he wanted to protect his Second Home, and that was Equestria.
“So, who is going to help me protect Canterlot from a dark me?” he said. No one said anything, which bothered James as he stood there waiting for an answer. “I… do have an idea.” Princess Celestia said. James smiled as he felt that he knew that she made the right choice.
He stood there in shock as she introduced her choice. “This is Shining Armor. He will be happy to help you.” She said. As she left James alone with Shining, he swore that he saw her smirk, which confused him, but then he shook it off. James then looked at Shining, “So, do you do anything special, besides being the Captain of the guard?” James said.
“Well, I have the ability to make massive shields as well as be the loving brother of Twilight.” He said. James smiled, to which he replied, “Yeah, I know what you- wait!” Shining looked around, trying to see what James was seeing. “What? What is it?” “You’re the brother of Twilight? Wait, Twilight has a brother?” James said.
Shining breathed a sigh of relief, glad that nothing was attacking them. He then looked at the shocked human who shook his head at why Celestia did this to him.
He then looked at Shining Armor before him and decided to make a new friend. He placed his arm around the unicorn, then said, “Have you ever played ‘Go Fish’?”
“Go fish.” James said, with a smirk on his face. Shining muttered some kind of curse under his breath as he levitated another card to his hand. James shook his head, thinking that this game was sillier when taken seriously.
For a moment, when they started playing, James and Shining had been coming up with a plan to stop his evil self (which Shining thought that it sounded like something out of a corny story he’s been reading recently). James shook his head and thought, ‘Maybe the universe works in corny ways.’
James then asked, “Do you have any kings?” to which Shining shook his head. James just shook his head, then took another card from the pile of cards. “Seriously, you carry a pack of cards on you?” “And a pack of dominoes.” James replied in agreeance, pulling out a pack of Bicycle™ Dominoes Cards. Shining shook his head, while James giggled at the silliness of what has happened.
“Seriously though, I think that we could be friends.” Shining said, then added, “Would there be a reason not to?”
He was just frightened of what the outcome would be.
Author's Note
Well, that's another chapter done. Note that in this universe, James is the only one to know that Twilight has a brother, and the others don't know about it until the wedding. That's later in the years.

Chapter 26: James VS Dark James: Part 2: Round 2
James waved bye to Shining, then headed to the council room where they were planning for something, besides his dark self. James entered the room, where everyone was at their appropriate places. James looked around for a moment, before finding his spot.
The meeting went on for a moment, before the council meeting ended, then Celestia, and The Mane Six went off to the throne room, followed by James. “Well, that actually went better than I expected.” James said. Twilight was surprised at what James said. “Why are you always optimistic?” “Because I try to see the best side of life. If I don’t, I feel that things are worse than they seem,” James said, jumping in front of Twilight, “So that’s why I try to find in every dark cloud, a silver lining.”
“And that’s how Equestria was made.” Pinkie said. Twilight stopped at where she was, confused on what Pinkie just said. James went over and picked up Twilight, “C’mon Twi, we need to head for the throne room.” He said, carrying her. “Yeah, especially the fight’s about to begin.” Pinkie said, hopping about. James felt that a fight was about to break out too, and he knew exactly when. He however didn’t tell the others. They would know soon.
After the guards closed the door, James placed Twilight down, then ran quickly up to Celestia. “I need you to protect the others from what is coming.” He said. Celestia nodded, “I know James. He’s coming and we felt it.” She said. James nodded, then turned towards the door. Twilight went to Celestia, confused on why James was standing towards the door. There was a strange rumbling noise coming from behind the fire. James stood there in a ready stance, as the rumbling noise got louder and louder. Suddenly, a burst of energy came through the doors, revealing Dark James.
“Well, well, well,” “Don’t see one, do you Celestia?” James said. This confused both Dark James and Celestia. “See what?” Celestia said, to which James held up his hands. “See, she doesn’t see a well as well.” James said with a smile. Dark James started to get angry.
“I’m tired of jokes. This ends here, and now!” “Ladies first.” James said with a “bring-it-on” wave of his hand. Dark James blasted huge amount energy towards James, to which he dodged it. It instead was blocked by Celestia which deflected it back to Dark James, to which he dodged it.
The energy slammed into the doors, causing them to fall off their hinges. Dark James looked around for a moment, trying to figure out where James was, when he heard a whistle from above him. He suddenly looked up, only to get slammed into the ground. James was then thrown back and tossed into the wall for a moment, as Dark James floated up. At that moment, James soon slammed into Dark James as both went flying out the left window. Twilight quickly ran towards the busted window, watching her friend fly off.
“Twilight, this is his battle, and I believe that he can handle it.” Celestia said, but secretly she did know.”
James suddenly sent a wave of energy towards his evil twin, with a yell of “Hadoken!” This caused Dark James to go flipping through the air for a moment, before returning back downside up. Dark James didn’t like that James was beating him, or seemed to be beating him. He then blasted James with the dark cloud-like energy, to which James dodged.
“You want to hurt me, come and get me.” James said, quickly heading back to Canterlot. Dark James gave out a loud growl of anger, to which he followed in heated anger. A being was watching this from where he was sitting, “So, this is how’s going to end.” It said.

James VS Dark James Pt. 3: The Final Battle!
Chapter 27: Dark James VS James Pt. 3: The FINAL Battle
The Mane Six felt a strange feeling come over them, to which Pinkie replied, “Quick, to the roof!” The Mane Six quickly ran towards the roof to see what Pinkie was talking about. There was a streak of lightning, and suddenly there was a strike. Nopony knew who struck, but if you asked James, he would say that both struck that day. After that, Dark James and James started to catch each other’s punches and kicks. Suddenly, Dark James head slammed James, causing him to be tossed across the sky, for a moment before returning back to counter punch Dark James.
They soon started attacking each other with punches, with speeds that defied all normal battles. The thunder roared and the lightning flashed across the sky, and for a moment, Twilight thought she saw a face of someone familiar, but then shook that thought away for a moment. Dark James suddenly blocked several of James’ punches, then gave a mighty punch that sent him sailing towards the town, leaving a large crater.
James layed there for a moment, while Dark James tried to figure out why he was feeling as much pain as he would if James did that. James slowly got up, which gave hope to many, and shock to Dark James. James looked at his nemesis, who wanted to ruin his paradise, and decided to end it. He shot at Dark James flying towards him at a powerful speed.
The Mane Six surrounded the sword, confused at what they were looking at, when Twilight thought about James. She lifted the sword with her telekinesis and yelled, “James!” He turned towards Twilight, seeing her with a sword. This confused him for a moment as he couldn’t figure out where Twilight got a sword. James soon saw the sword fly towards him, to which he quickly caught the sword in mid-air. He then held it out like he was about to sword fight the villain. “En guarde!” he said. Dark James just growled at him again, before producing a sword from pure energy.
They soon started to fight again, but in more different. As they swung, their swords would clink and clank as the storm appeared to get worse. Suddenly, Dark James struck James, leaving a scratch on his lab coat and a scar. At that exact moment, Dark James got that exact scratch and tear on him, on the exact arm.
Both held their arm, as they soon realized why they had felt that amount of pain at the exact moment, they did damage for their counterpart. ‘A balance between the universe. Order and Chaos, Dark and Light, Good… and Evil.’ James thought to himself, realizing what he needed to do.
James then punched his Dark self and threw him at the roof. Dark James felt and somehow knew what was happening. He threw energy at James, who deflected it with the sword. As he backed up, Dark James kept on repeating the same thing, which didn’t work, and frightened Dark James even more.
James nicked his twin’s knee, causing his jeans and his knee to have a slash mark like him. Dark James knew exactly what James was doing and didn’t like where it was going. “Don’t do this, don’t do what you’re about to do.” He said, as rain poured down on them. Lightning crashed again, adding a dramatic feel to where they were standing. “Don’t you want to live in this world?” Dark James said, frightened.
James looked at his friends, who all looked at him with a type of sadness. James then looked back at his nemesis. “I rather die, than have to live with you.” With a battle cry, James jumped, to allow the final blow to him. Lightning struck at the exact moment he slashed Dark James in half, to which there was a brilliant bright light, then nothing.

Chapter 28: What now?
There was the snap of a finger, to which suddenly James gasped as life filled his being. Soon, his clothes and body slowly healed from the battle, as he slowly returned back to normal. He noticed how fast his body was healing, then turned towards an odd fella who looked like him, only more cartoonish.
“Wha? What happened?” James said, looking at the smiling character. “Well, for starters, I’m the Character and you’re welcome.” He said, adding a chuckle of humor. James got up and stood there, face to face with The Character. “Am I-?” “No, you’re not dead, nor should you be.” He said, as he walked to Dark James.
James stood there, looking at Dark James, who was like James at one point, dead. The Character snapped his fingers, causing Dark James to change into Nightmare Moon. “That’s Nix, she is Luna’s imaginary friend, brought to life,” he paused looking at an odd squirming worm-like thing. Picking it up, he continued, “And this is the thing that pushed Luna into turning into Nightmare Moon, and almost pushed you into a dictator.”
“This thing is called a Cosmic Parasite. This thing can affect almost any being in any dimensional plane of existence.” The Character said. James looked at Nix, then at The Character. “Well, what do I do now? I’m technically dead, and I can’t return back to Earth.” “Your Earth, you mean. And you can, however you need to figure it out yourself.” The Character said.
He then stood in front of James and hugged him for a moment, before holding out two fingers in front of him. “Clear!” Character exclaimed, touching James’ chest. James suddenly felt a blast of electricity come from The Character’s fingers, “Aaah!” he exclaimed, “What the? That hurts!” “Clear!” Character repeated this, causing James to jolt for a moment, to which James heard echoes of what sounded like paramedics near James. He then had a flash of his memory of Bruce Almighty. “You little stink, you’re using Bruce-.” “Clear!” Suddenly, it felt as though he was pulled back into existence.
There was a sudden jolt to James’ body as they checked his heart. “It’s working boys. He’s back.” “Quick get him to the hospital!” One of the paramedic ponies said, as they packed up equipment. James felt life back in his body and soon nodded back to sleep, as everything faded back to black.
James started to hear the familiar sound of his heart, as he started to see colors and light, before they started to form into coherent creatures. “Guys, is that you?” he said as he sat up. The Mane Six cheered as they were glad that James was still alive. He then wrapped his arms around them and gave them a big hug. “Welcome back to the land of the living.” A soothing voice said. James looked up to see Princess Celestia.
“Well, it seems that our Princess has a sense of humor.” “I’ve always had a sense of humor,” she said, “I just don’t use it much in public.” James nodded, then looked towards his left to see Nix there, asleep on the hospital bed. “Why are we helping Nightmare Moon, when she was trying to take you over?” Rainbow Dash said. James shook his head, then looked at her. “Dudette, that isn’t Nightmare Moon, at least not anymore. That is part of Luna that took a physical form due to a creature called a Dark Cosmic Parasite.” James explained, to which Twilight looked at him as if he was crazy. “Where did you get that?”
James was about to say something, then he thought for a moment, before finally saying, “I really have no idea. I feel as though, someone or something is typing out all my thoughts and allowing me to speak to all of you.”
Meanwhile in another Dimension, the writer sneezed for a brief moment, looked at what the character said, then said, “Yeah, it’s meta, but it works.” He then went back to typing in both The Character and himself.
James shook his head, then said, “I may need more rest than I thought.” They all started laughing at what he said.
Luna looked at The Character, in shock. “You mean you knew?” Luna said. The Character was serious now and nodded to what happened, “I couldn’t alter the history though to get it. The Cosmic Council believed that this happened for a reason, I didn’t and had to sit and watch while history continued, at least this version of history.” “I don’t understand.” Celestia said.
Both Princesses looked at each other in worry, then looked back at The Character. “Anyways, James did it. He eradicated it from the multiverse and from all of Space-Time… somehow. I think it had something to do with that sword,” he snapped his fingers, causing the sword to appear, “Macguffin Device. Made by TV Tropes Inc.” he said, reading the inscription on the sword. He then looked at them in shock.
“Dangatang! Like seriously guys.” He yelled at the sky, to which there was a sound of inconsistent babble. “What? I cannot believe that you would do this behind my back. You could’ve alerted me.” He started to say as he faded out of their plane of reality.

A Scientist of the Bermuda Triangle in Equestria.
Chapter 1: Another Wonder-Filled DayIn 2008, A man by the name of Professor Wonder came up with the idea of his own facility in the Bermuda Triangle. He decided that it would be named WonderWorks, considering the wonderment that surrounded him and his idea. The government agreed with his plan, and gave him the funding for it.
In 2010, a young boy at age 15, by the name of James Rouse had already graduated from college and was looking for a job. He was then called in by the government, and hired him for "Project: Twister" , to which James agreed to. He, in his past year of college, heard legends and myths of a place called Wonder Island. After signing some seclusion papers, he was sent off.
James had lived in Wonder Island for half a year now, and was growing tired of the experiment that, the man he called boss, Professor Wonder was working on.
The alarm clock rang again, waking James to another day away from his family. He missed his family, but he knew that at least they were alright. Well, except for one. His older brother Daniel, who was working in the army. He missed him, and has heard from his brother that he was alright.
He soon got up and started to shower, then got dressed. He looked at himself in the mirror, then sighed. 'Another Day dragging my head across the grindstone.' he thought. He then went downstairs, grabbing himself a bite to eat. He watched the news of the world and the events. He then drank his orange juice, then grabbed his wallet and keys, then left in his old Volkswagen.
He then drove to his workplace again, hoping that his boss wouldn't do that experiment again. Sure, the place he worked at wasn't that bad, in fact it was fun. The WonderWorks was the best place on planet Earth, and his boss, Professor Wonder, was great to be around. It was just...tiring to do the same experiment to be done again and again, and to fail repeatedly. He shouldn't complain, really. The Government could've sent him to a boring experiment, instead of down here in the Bermuda Triangle, working on other weird experiments. Plus they paid him really well.
The orange 1960's Beetle pulled up in front of the WonderWorks parking lot. James wondered if his friends ever got themselves pulled into unusual situations like what happened in WonderWorks every day. He sighed, then climbed out of his car, knowing that he needed a cup of coffee to start with. "Charlie, stay in the car." he said, slightly rolling down the windows. Then he entered the building.
What James didn't know was that his dog had a spare key he used for his purpose. Charlie turned on the car engine, then started to listen to some of James' music. He was glad that James installed the solar panels on the back of the car.
"*Sniff*, Ahhh.", he said, breathing a breath of relief. He then drank his coffee, feeling his brain wake up. All of a sudden, his iPod's alarm went off. He put down his coffee and pulled his iPod out. The alarm for the date went off. "May 4th, 7:30 am.", James said. 'Today's the day.' he thought, sipping on his coffee. He finished the cup, then got himself another. He took a whiff of his coffee, smelling the mixture of creamer and sugar that he mixed in. "Just the way I like it.", he said, taking a sip. He then looked at his watch. "3...2...1" "Prof. Rouse, please come to Lab 15. Professor Wonder needs you." , The Assistant said. The Assistant was a computerized system that was built into the WonderWorks facility.
Over the year and a half that he was on Wonder Island, he was growing tired of the same experiment being done over and over again. Several of the facilities were carried to somewhere in the US. People went there to have fun, when the facility used to be a facility of serious science... if it was called serious science. James wished that he was home, working on his own experiments.
Five minutes later...
Standing in the facility was a giant chamber where hot and cold air could be mixed perfectly. It was a place where many times before had been a failure, but the Professor was sure it would work. James lost his surance with the machine long during his first year on the island. Professor Wonder looked at his machine as a dream machine. James would've claimed it though as a giant blender with air coming out of the blades.
Professor Wonder started up the machine, while James sipped on his coffee. The machine started with a light breeze. "There, nice and easygoing.", he said. 'Don't provoke Murphy, dude.' James thought as he sipped on his coffee. That's when the strangest thing happened to the facility (except for James, he predicted this), it started to go wrong. 'First, the machine's console will spark and malfunction.', James thought, looking at the machine. Prof. Wonder turned up his machine, to which the whining sound got louder, then the console sparked. 'Strike one.', James thought, sipping his coffee, nonchalantly. 'Next, it will break anything with glass' James then held his metal coffee mug over the glass one. Prof. Wonder then flipped a couple of switches. The device started to make a humming noise, which caused Prof. Wonder's glasses, and several other's glasses broke. James' mug broke, only for it to fall into his metal travel mug. His glasses also didn't break for the fact that it was plastic
'Strike two.', he thought, placing his broken mug handle into the coffee. He then stirred his mug, letting it dissolve, then he took a sip. 'Mmm, needs more adjustment', James thought, as he thought about his mug invention, then continued, 'Finally, the twister will form and they think they have it under control, when really they don't.'. Professor Wonder activated the "LAUNCH" button. The device started to pick up more speed on the wind. The odometer showed how fast the blades were spinning. Soon, a twister started to forum. "It's working. It's really-" "WARNING: MALFUNCTION!", the computer said. The twister started to pick up even more speed. "Strike three, you're out!", James exclaimed. James realized what he said, and looked at the people around him. Prof. Wonder looked at him, as if he lost his mind. Letting that pass, James made a mental note not to let that happen again, then he said, "Assistant, I'm taking my break now." "Very good sir.", Assistant said.
James grabbed his experiments, and his stuff and his custom made locker and took it to his car. Just, as he was in his car, driving away, the alarms went off. He saw from a distance, everyone running out of the building. Then, the twister busted out from the top front of the roof.
He chuckled a little, shaking his head, making it appear like it was some sick joke. It wasn't. "Why are you doing that? That isn't funny." "Hm, oh, there.", he said, pointing at the event. He then turned back to his pet cocker spaniel, Charlie. "It's really simple Charlie. You see, that happens every year. So much so, that it's funny. And to add to that, Professor Wonder doesn't learn his lesson."
Meanwhile in Equestria...

A Scientist in the Bermuda Triangle in Equestria
The orange Beetle kept on speeding, trying to make it back home, but the twister was close behind him, and getting even closer. James took a look behind him, then turned back, as he sped hoping to make it to the garage. The twister continued to follow, while carrying the WonderWorks facility with it. James soon got into his garage, then quickly got out, with his dog following behind. He then tried to figure out what to do. James checked outside real quick, seeing the twister get closer. Frightened, he quickly closed the door and locked it. He then breathed a sigh of relief. "We should be fine here, right Charlie? Nothing could go wrong."
All of a sudden, There was a rumbling, as the house started to creak and shake. "You had to say that didn't you?" Charlie said. James gave him a nervous smile, then said, "Maybe?" The twister soon started to come over his house. It soon picked up his house, his basement, his garage, and both him and his dog. The house tilted and creaked as it flew through the strange twister. "Well, I can't complain, it could be worse." he said. Suddenly, there was a jerk, as James soon konked his head on a open window and fell out. "James!", Charlie said.
But, it was too late, he was unconscious and flying through the vortex. The twister then split into two.
The one on Earth, moved away from the island and took the WonderWorks, and a ship called the "S.S Ripley". It soon went to Florida and dropped onto the street of Panama City. These would soon become attractions for Panama City.
Meanwhile, James' house and his things flew upward through the twister, as the twister became a vortex. Through the power of the dimensional anomaly, and the help of another twister in a pocket dimension, it created a wormhole. The vortex then dropped the basement with a thud, deep below, then it dropped the house on its head. James fell down, still unconscious, without a scratch on him. Then several cars fell around him, startling him.
"AAAAAHHHH!" he said. He took a few deep breaths then looked around, spotting his house, flipped upside-down. One thing crossed his mind. "Charlie.", he said, getting up. He grabbed a crowbar, and smashed a window. James then placed a blanket over the broken glass. Charlie stepped out of the broken window, then shook himself off. He looked at his owner. "Who do you think you are, Gordon Freeman?", he asked. "Good to see you too pal.", James said, with a smile. Then, he sat down and passed out.
Charlie sighed, then dragged James into the house, for a good night's rest. Tomorrow was going to be a shock to him and his dog.

After the events involving a Cosmic Parasite, James kept being "Equestria's Scientific Advisor", until he could return back to his universe and his home planet, Earth. But for now, this was his home.
Celestia called James to the Canterlot Throne Room to talk to James about a new mission, to which he hurried it along to Canterlot to talk to her. After the guards allowed him in, he quickly ran into the throne room, since it appeared urgent, at least the letter gave off that appearance. "You... *huff* wanted to... *huff* see me Princess." he said, slightly out of breath. He then made a mental note to himself about physical activities, meaning exercise.
Princess Celestia smiled at him, while Luna lightly chuckled, finding James' antics amusing, mostly because he was exaggerating on his expressions. "Yes, well, It's good to see you James. The reason why I brought you here is for the fact that I've decided to give you a mission, the same one my student, Twilight Sparkle is on." she said. James was slightly confused on what she meant by that. As far as he knew, Twilight wasn't on any mission, but instead was one of the Mane Six who protected Equestria.
"Your mission, besides protecting the Mane Six, is to learn the Magic of Friendship." Celestia said to James. He looked at her, then remembered why Twilight was writing to Celestia when moments were crazy, at least that's what he noticed. "You are to report on what happens, and to tell us what you've learned while there.

So, yeah. I'm planning on writing a series that connects to the original series called "ASotBTiE: The Equestrian Series", kinda has a nice ring to it, at least I think so.
