Rarity: A Canterlot Dream

INTRO

She rushed to get home.  This had to be the best day of Rarity's life.

She could not wait to tell her friends, to tell Sweetie Bell, to tell Opal,

to tell all of Ponyville of her accomplishment.  A simple fasionista, was now becoming the

next big thing, a rising star in the world of fashion.  Her dream was coming true.

It all began on her trip to Canterlot.  Although she did go to work on Twilight Sparkle's

Birthday dress, she had managed to meet with members of high society.  This

all came to a boiling point when the two groups met.  Her simple Ponyville friends, and

her new Canterlot friends.  Ultimately, the new fashions ,brought in by she and her friends,

were a huge hit with the the high society of Canterlot.  And now, it all was paying off.

Her own shop in Canterlot.

She could not mess this up.  She would not, but first she had to-*CRASH!*

A crunch was heard from Rarity's boutique.  She picked up her pace from a trot to brisk jog.

"Who is in my shop?" she wondered.  Soon a thought sprang into her head, "Oh Sweetie

Belle, please spare me from your crusading antics for this one day!"  As she drew even

closer to her home, she heard murmurs from inside.

"OH, IT IS ON!" screamed Rarity.  Instead of using her unicorn magic... or even using

conventional means of entry.  She threw herself through the window, hoping to

apprehend the tresspassers(or, "Cutie Mark Crusaders") before more damage could be done.

Before the freshly-broken glass even had the opportunity to hit the floor of her boutique,

Rarity caught sight of one of the perpetrators.  She saw the curly, untidy mane sticking up from

behind her display mannequins.  As soon as her hooves hit the floor, ponies exploded from all corners

of the room.  "SUPRISE!" they screamed in unison.  Just then the lights were flipped on,

revealing her friends' party preperations.  In the center of the room stood a cake.  This

was no ordinary cake, it was a "Marzipan Mascarpone Meringue Madness", a signature cake

which she had (not so) secretly tasted previously.  This was a specialty of Sugarcube Corner, only

given out on momentously special occasions.  After Rarity was able to tear her eyes away

from the massive, mouth-watering cake, did she see everything, or rather

everypony else.  There were more than fifty ponies in her foyer.  Everyone from Lyra, to

the famous DJ PON3 was here, in her house, waiting for her!?!  She was so full of

emotion and happyness.  Finally, Rarity realized that someone was trying to talk to her.

"Hey Rarity," said Twilight Sparkle.  When she received no response Rainbow Dash screamed,

"RARITY! HELLO!" finally captuturing the white unicorn's attention.  "Sorry, I... I...

yes, what Rainbow?" Stammered a Stunned Rarity.  "Mighty nice to see you again Rarity!"

exclaimed Applejack happily.  "How was Canter-" "GOD WILL YOU JUST STOP BEING SO BUCKING

SAPPY, AND TELL US WHAT WE CAME HERE TO HEAR!" screamed DJ PON3 from her stage next to

the cake.  "Well I supose that it would only be fair not to keep you ponies waiting." Said

Rarity. "Very well, I'd like to announce that my buisness is creating a new branch in

CANTERLOT!"  This created a shockwave of cheer throughout the nearest ponies.  "HIT IT!" screamed Rainbow Dash.

"Hey, ya don't need to tell me twice!" exclaimed DJ PON3, slamming her hoof down

on her turntable's play button, and sending the crowd of ponies into hours of celebration.
