Diamonds are a guy's best friend

As soon as the sun had started to make his way up in the sky, Diamond Tiara was alread out of bed, she went to the bathroom and cleaned herself, she didn't took long though, she was faster than a filly getting ready to go to the amusement park, she made her way to Filthy Rich Bedroom, he was still sleeping.

She jumped into the bed and said with an excited voice, "Come on father, the sun is rising and we need to go to Canterlot, Now!"

"Autumn Heart honey just a few more minutes," Filthy Rich then rolled to the other side and hugged a pillow.

"It's me father, we need to go to Canterlot to free Shadow Walker," Diamond Tiara said louder this time.

"Please honey, I will be up for breakfast in a few minutes," Filthy Rich hugged the pillow even tighter.

Diamond Tiara wanted to go already, but her father was sleeping, so she took a breath and screamed with all her voice, "WAKE UP!!"

Filthy Rich's eyes went wide, he jumped out of bed with a hoof in his heart, "Diamond Tiara! You almost gave me a heart attack."

"We need to go already father, Shadow Walker can't wait for us," Diamond Tiara said and started to make her way out of her father bedroom.

"Of course he can wait... he is in a prison," Filthy Rich tried to make a little joke, Diamond Tiara turned her head slowly and gave him a cold look that could even make Celestia's crumble in fear, "Sorry..." He whispered.

They made their way downstairs, they both seated by the table to have breakfast, on the middle of it Filthy Rich started to look at Diamond Tiara, she saw that he was looking at her and asked, "What?"

"You've have grown immensely" Filthy Rich said with a proud tone.

Diamond Tiara gave a puzzled look, "What are you talking about?"

"I'm proud of you, you not more that little filly who just bullied everypony, you're more mature now, and I think Shadow Walker played a big part in this change," Filthy Rich gave her a smile.

Diamond Tiara's cheek went from her normal pink color to a deep red, she wasn't used to getting complements, "Thanks... I guess."

They finished breakfast and they both started to get everything ready, Diamond Tiara didn't got nothing to bring while Filthy Rich got his saddle bag and placed a bag full of bits on each side, they exited the house and made their to the train station, when they arrived Diamond Tiara saw three fillies in the platform.

When they passed by those three fillies Diamond Tiara said, "Hello everypony," The three fillies eyes went wide, Diamond Tiara and her father made their way in the train and the group of fillies just stood there, speechless and frozen in place, until one of then broke the ice and said.

"What has just happened here?" Asked Scootaloo.

Apple bloom replied, "I have no idea."

Finally Sweetie Belle said in an excited tone, "I really like her mane!"

The ride to Canterlot wasn't long, Diamond Tiara stood all the trip looking through the window, she saw a few animals, the grass was really green and the sky was as clear as possible and it wasn't too hot, it was a perfect day and Diamond Tiara could just think of one thing to make this day even better, "Shadow Walker"

"Did you say anything Tiara?" Filthy Rich looked at Diamond Tiara, she turned her focus to her father now, "Oh no, nothing I am just thinking to myself here," She replied and turned back to the window.

"Thinking about Shadow Walker aren't you?" Asked Filthy Rich.

Diamond Tiara only gave him one word, "Yes"

"Don't worry we will free him really soon, and then we can all be back home," Filthy Rich said quite nervously.

"Is something wrong father? You look a little nervous," Diamond Tiara looked at Filthy Rich, he was sweating.

"I just don't know what I will say to him, I hope he forgives me for the things I said and from that hit I gave him."

Tiara gave a look to Filthy Rich she laughed a little and said in a warm tone, "Don't worry about that, I'm sure he will forgive you, he would have done the same thing if he thought he was protecting me."

Somehow Diamond Tiara's words calmed Filthy Rich, he knew that what she had just said was true, wanting it or not Filthy Rich knew Shadow Walker really well, he had been Diamond Tiara foalcarer for at least two months, even with all the hate he had when he thought Shadow Walker had raped her, he felt really bad for what he did that day, and now from doubting one of his few friends.

When they arrived at Canterlot they made the way out of the train and started to go towards the center of the big city, Filthy Rich has been in Canterlot for quite some times now, he knew his way around the city but never actually saw the prison.

"I guess we better ask directions, I don't know where this prison is," Filthy Rich said to Diamond Tiara.

When Filthy Rich was making his way towards one of the city guards, he was stopped by a unicorn guard, "Are you Mr. Filthy Rich?" asked the guard.

"Indeed I am, but how do you know that?" Filthy Rich looked at the guard with eyebrow raised.

"I was instructed to look out for a stallion walking with a filly wearing a tiara, so she must be Diamond Tiara right?" the guard looked at Diamond Tiara, "My boss is expecting you two, if you could follow me I will show you the way to the prison."

Filthy Rich and Diamond Tiara looked at each other, they were both suspicious of the unicorn, but the followed him through the city, the walk was like a torture, the guard just kept walking and walking, and never said a word even when asked about his boss.

They soon arrived at big iron door, a pink round thing that looked a lot like bubblegum was enveloping the whole structure, the guard made his way to the iron door and shouted for two guards that where in a watchtower right beside the entrance, "Open the door, we have guests,"

The door opened and the three ponies made their way inside, the guard kept walking for a few minutes more and they soon arrived at a wooden door a sign was right in the middle of it, it was written in big words, Filthy Rich looked at it and readed it aloud, "Captain Golden Crest," He looked at the guard and asked, "Is that your boss?".

The guard just nodded and gesture for then to enter, "Please get comfortable, I will bring the captain in a few minutes."

They made the way inside and the guard closed the door, Filthy Rich grabbed a pillow and seated down, while Diamond Tiara started to look around the place, "Don't touch anything Tiara, you don't have permission and I don't want you to break something," Said Filthy Rich.

The filly gave a not so loud cry of frustration, "Ah, Come on," she said while looking to her father, Filthy Rich just gave a disapproving nod.

The room was really clean, and had a lot of badges on one of the sides of the wall, and there were a few papers in the desk, Diamond Tiara could see that one had Shadow Walker name on it, she got curious and tried to open it, when she did all the words from inside the paper disappeared, she backed away a little scared and started to examine the rest of the room.

But what really got the filly attention was an idol that was in the desk, it was a hawk and it looked to be made out of gold, she touched the hawk, but when her tiny hooves made contact to the idol it started to change and took the form of a single bit, after that he changed to a Tiara like the one she always wears and finally took the shape of a heart.

She was delighted to seeing that golden idol change into those three things one after another, when she was placing her hooves on it again the door opened and a unicorn made his way in, "Sorry to keep you two waiting, we need to take care of this as soon as possible," Golden Crest said.

Diamond Tiara looked at him and asked, "Take care of what now?"

"I like to know this too, I have important business, we are lucky we were brought here, but if you could go to the point and tell us what you want," Said Filthy Rich with a rushed tone.

Golden Crest made his way to his desk, he looked at the idol and back at Diamond Tiara, "Interesting," he whispered to himself and touched the idol, it changed back to being the hawk it was and then Golden Crest grabbed a piece of paper and said.

"We are going to free Shadow Walker, actually you're going to free him, that is why you're both here right?"
