Diamonds are a guy's best friend

"Okay then, I appreciate that you're both coming with me, so just stick together and follow me," Shadow Walker said while walking forward.

"Where are we going Shadow?" Diamond Tiara asked curiously.

Shadow Walker replied, "You will see."

The two ponies quietly followed Shadow Walker, they passed by some restaurants, a few grocery shops and a lot of buildings, they walked through canterlot in a steady pace, the sun was high up in the sky it was midday already, Shadow Walker walked towards a house, it was a medium house compared to the other houses in canterlot.

"We are here," Shadow Walker said, he concentrated his magic and a dark shield started to dissipate from around the building.

"And exactly where are we?" Filthy Rich said, while looking to the house, it was a medium house alright, but bigger than even his house in ponyville, which was one of the biggest houses in town.

Shadow Walker didn't replied, he finished removing the shield and opened the door, he gestured inside, "Welcome to my house... I guess."

They made the way inside, Filthy Rich looked around speechless, and Diamond Tiara eyes went wide and she had a smile on her face.

"THIS IS YOUR HOUSE?!" asked Filthy Rich.

"Yes, something wrong with it?" Shadow Walker asked while looking down on the floor.

"It's bigger than my house on ponyville, and look at all this expansive stuff, where did you got all of this, must had cost a fortune." Filthy Rich said while looking around.

The house was a two floor building, a lot of paintings around the walls, all the windows had golden silk curtains, and there where flowers hanging around some corners, statues, and a fireplace could be seen from an door arc in another room, all this in the first floor.

Diamond Tiara stood beside Shadow Walker, mouth open wide, "I got this from my mother when she passed out, I don't spend much time here anymore ever since I found Diamond Tiara," Shadow Walker said while nuzzling Diamond Tiara neck.

"Nnngh..." the filly gave a cute moan, "Can we look around Shadow Walker?" She asked while looking to him with puppy eyes.

"Of course you can, fell free to do anything, it's you house now too... I guess" Shadow Walker said, and the filly rushed upstairs disappearing from the two stallions view.

"Follow me please Filthy Rich, now that I got Diamond Tiara out of the way for a little, I need to show you something," Shadow Walker whispered to Filthy Rich, while making his way into the living room.

Filthy Rich followed, the room had two expensive white chairs, and three place white couch, and there had a painting in one of the sides of the wall, the fireplace and a big bookcase that could make even Twilight Sparkle waste a few days reading.

Shadow Walker walked towards the painting, he removed it and it had a safe there, he placed his horn in the safe and the iron object glowed the same color as his horn, a deep dark and it opened, a box was inside, "Guess I finally found use for you my friend," Shadow Walker said to himself while taking the box.

He showed the box to Filthy Rich, "Wait is that a..." Filthy Rich said, but was cut short by Shadow Walker, "Yes, do you think this will do?"

"Actually... I think this is too much, but if you want it, I won't stand in your way," Filthy Rich said with a wide smile, "It's really beautiful by the way."

"Then it's settled, shall we return to ponyville or you want to spend some days here?" Shadow Walker asked.

"I think Diamond Tiara will decide that," Filthy Rich replied.

Diamond Tiara was upstairs, she found herself in a long corridor with four doors on each side of it, and a fifth door on the end of the corridor, she opened it and they were all bedrooms, all of them was really expansive looking and all have a bathroom in it.

She went for the fifth door, it was yet another bedroom, only bigger, if featured a big heart shaped bed with red blankets, it have a curtain that could be pushed around it, the floor was made of carpet, a white smooth carpet, and it had a big wardrobe, the bathroom was just like the others, a big bathtub, the toilet and a sink that had a few golden details on the knobs, and a mirror.

She jumped into the bed, it was so comfortable that she just wanted stay there the rest of the day, she hugged a pillow and closed the curtain, "This place is perfect, I wish I could live here" she thought to herself, "It's so comfortable and expensive, I love this"

She got out of the bed and looked around she saw something she didn't saw before, right by the side of the wardrobe there was a glass shelf, she looked and saw a golden idol, much like the one in Golden Crest office, only this time it was griffin instead of the hawk.

She instinctively placed the hoof on it, it change to a single bit, a tiara and finally took the shape a heart, she gave a puzzled look and went out of the bedroom, making her way downstairs.

She went down but found nopony in the room, she looked at the living room and saw the two stallions, she went straight for then, "What is that box Shadow Walker?" She asked looking to the box floating around Shadow Walker.

"It's nothing important for now, do you want to stay here a few days, or you want to return to Ponyville?" Shadow Walker asked, while trying to avoid talking about the black box.

"Wait, we can stay here a few days?" Diamond Tiara asked excited.

"Sure, why not?" replied Filthy Rich.

"AWESOME!!" Diamond Tiara shouted.

"I think that is a yes then... I will get something for us to eat, you two must be hungry," Shadow Walker began to walk of the room.

"Do you want help?" asked Filthy Rich.

"No need to, you will see that things around Canterlot works a little different from Ponyville." Shadow Walker replied while grabbing a quill and parchment.

He wrote some words on the parchment and threw it in the fireplace, the parchment burned a bright green and disappeared.

"Now we just wait a few minutes." Shadow Walker said to the two ponies, who in turn both of then gave him a puzzled look.

They stood there in the living room chatting, Shadow Walker explained all that happened in his short stay in the prison, and about a little of the story about his mother.

After some time has passed a loud knock came into the door, "Finally," Shadow Walker got up and went to answer the knock.

He opened the door and two unicorns caring a cart with magic covering everything, "Come in please, place everything in the dinner room over there," Shadow Walker said while pointing a hoof to the diner room door.

The two unicorns started to move a lot of trays into the house, all of then covered by silver domes and they all had a faint white magical color around then.

Soon the smell of food was all around the house, Diamond Tiara and Filthy Rich started to sniff if, the smell of it went straight in their nostrils, they looked to the exit and Shadow Walker was there lifting a bag of bits and giving to two strange unicorns.

Shadow Walker returned to the living room and said, "Come one everypony, the food is done"

they made the way in the dining room, the table was really big it had eight chairs on each side and two more on each of the table finish, it was loaded with food it had a lot of Muffins, toast, bagels, oatmeal, a lot of apple treats and zap apple treats, vegetables, sandwiches, stews, pies, cakes, juices too, and a lot more of rather advanced looking Canterlot food.

"Well, I don't think we can eat all of that, isn't it a waste to buy so much food?" Diamond Tiara asked while grabbing a carrot.

"It is... if that was normal food, it's was magically enchanted, so what is cold stays cold, and what is hot stays hot too, and it takes more to get spoiled, so we can just leave then at the table and eat it another day" Shadow Walker said while biting a piece of cake like it was his last.

"That is convenient..." Replied Filthy Rich while looking around, "Wow, zap apple..." he grabbed a zap apple fritter and ate it in a single bite.

Both Shadow Walker and Diamond Tiara looked at him, "What?" asked Filthy Rich.

The three ponies looked at each other and they all laughed.
