In a tucked-away corner of the universe, there rests a planet by the name of Tridom. On that planet, there is an island.

The island was quite small, surrounded by churning ocean, and adopted its name from the planet that so generously hosted it. Life flourished, and civilization managed to do quite well despite the cramped quarters. But all of that changed with the rise of technology. Cities, travel, new energy sources, expansion, all driven by the need to circumvent the obstacles to progress.
