     "You DO realize you two caused an explosion in the chemistry room that injured 3 people, right? "The principle asked Nova and Derpy. Nova sighed heavily.

     "No, you see, Mr.Neigh, when I wasn't looking, Derpy- "Nova got interrupted.

     "How DARE you try to put the blame on this innocent girl? You're OBVIOUSLY the one to blame! "Bill Neigh stared down Nova.

     "Sorry, Mr. Neigh. I PROMISE it won't happen again! PLEASE don't get me in trouble! "Nova pleaded. The entire time he was talking with Bill Neigh, Derpy was playing with the goggles Nova had "given" her. She really did seem to enjoy them, and smiled every time she looked into them.

     Bill Neigh stroked his short beard. "Hmmm... Alright. Since it IS the first day of school, and this is your first 'crime', I'll let you go. But the two of you are required to stay in your dorms for the rest of the day! "Nova sighed. This was Derpy's fault, why was he getting the blame for it?

     "Yay! Come on, muffin! Let's go! "Derpy once again latched onto Nova's arm as she dragged him out of the office.

     "D-Derpy! Wait! You're supposed to go back to your dorm, and umm... We aren't roommates, "Nova reminded her. Derpy looked at him angrily.

     "I don't care! My roommate's mean, and no fun. Her name's Trix-something. She's all self centered. I would rather stay with you, muffin, "Derpy hugged his arm, triggering a blush on Nova's face.

     "..... Derpy, why do you like me so much? I'm not anything special, so why are you so interested in me? "The next thing Nova felt was a slap on his arm.

     "Don't say that! You ARE special, muffin! Only one person can be my muffin, and I chose you, so you're special. As for why I chose you, I chose you because you looked sad and lonely. We're both lonely, so I figured that if you were my muffin, we wouldn't have to be lonely anymore. It's that simple. Silly muffin, you're so crazy, "Derpy laughed as Nova looked down. "Now come on, we're going to the muffin factory! "

     "You mean the bakery? "

     "Exactly! Now come on, fly with me! "Almost instantly, Derpy crashed into a wall.

     "Derpy! A-Are you ok!? "Nova ran to Derpy's side, helping her up.

     "But curfew is at 10:00. Wouldn't we be- "

     "Muffin? Are you a scaredy-cat? "Derpy tilted her head.

     Nova gasped. "N-No! Of course not! I just didn't think that you were the dangerous type... "Derpy once again slapped his arm.

     "I'm not dangerous! Just... Curious. Now, order me a muffin, "

     "Hey peeps! My name's DJP0N3, and let's get this party started! "People cheered as Vinyl Scratch worked her magic in the DJ's station. The large cheered as they danced to the music.

     "Derpy, I don't know about this... After what happened this morning, we might get in BIG trouble for being here. W-we should head back... "Nova said nervously. Derpy was latched onto his shirt as always. He was wearing a shirt with a black top left that transitioned into a white bottom left. Derpy on the other hand, was wearing a grey sweater with a muffin in the center.

     "Nooooo... I wanna hang out with you, muffin. Don't you wanna hang out with me? "Derpy looked up at Nova and frowned, tearing up. Nova stared at her for a while.

     "Of course I wanna hang out with you, Derpy! Don't you DARE ever think otherwise. It's just... Ponyville High is one of the best schools in Equestria, and I wouldn't wanna get expelled. Because, when I'm older, I wanna be an author, and this is the school that'll help me most. So- "Nova was interrupted by Derpy's lips pressing against his own. At first, his heart skipped a beat. But as the kiss lasted, he kissed her back. He was semi-sad when Derpy pulled away for air.

     "I'll be right back, Muffin! "Derpy twisted around on her heel, and walked away somewhere. Nova still had his jaw open.

     "Dear Celestia.... I love my life... "As the minutes passed by, Nova began to get worried. About 20 minutes after Derpy had left, Nova decided to look at the DJ. ".... Derpy? What is she- "Nova ran through the crowd to the DJ's station, and grabbed Derpy's arm just as she was about the push a button. Nova whispered so that Vinyl wouldn't notice. "Derpy, what are you doing here!? "

     "Oh, hi, Muffin. I was just going to see how this thing works. I've been curious about it since I first saw it.... I want one, "Derpy answered.

     "Sure thing, anything for a fan! "Vinyl uncapped the marker, and signed her name on the CD that Derpy gave her, handing it back to Derpy.

     "Yay! Thank you! This is Muffin, but only I can call him Muffin. You can call him White Nova. Do you wanna hang out with us when you're done? "

     "Umm... Derpy? "

     "Sure thing! I'll just close up after this song, and we can head to the lake. I hear that's a good place to make friends, "Vinyl smiled as Nova sighed.

     "That's impossible. Even the pressure in this lake would kill anyone, "Nova said, leaning over the bridge.

     ".... Derpy, positive means happy about pretty much everything. Can blood be happy? "Nova asked.

     "If something good happens to it, then I guess it could. But then again, anything is possible if you believe it is, "Derpy said, smiling.

     Derpy smirked. "Is that a challenge? Besides, Muffin is loyal to me, and to me only. So a contest would be pointless, "Derpy shrugged, and Vinyl held up her fist.

     "Please! I could easily steal him from you, so you might as well just give up! "Vinyl taunted.

     "Don't I get a say in this? "Nova sighed as he leaned over the railing of the bridge as Derpy and Vinyl argued. I'm not sure if I should love my life, or be sad. I mean, I don't wanna take advantage of them, because that'll be terrible. But I also don't want them to feel like I don't appreciate them... Damn it, I only see these kind of situation in animes. Now I'll have to make a decision eventually... Nova stared down into the water, wondering what kinds of animals were in there.

     "You couldn't steal him from me! Muffin will always love me, no matter how many mistakes I make! "Derpy told Vinyl.

     "Listen, you two sort this fiasco out, I'm gonna go swimming. Nova said. Since Derpy suggested that they go to the lake before they even left the school, he had his swimming trunks bundled up in his back pocket.

     "Alright, see ya soon! "Vinyl waved at Nova as he flew behind a tree, and changed into his swimming trunks, which matched his shirt.

     "I wonder how cold this water is... "Instead of just dipping his foot in like a logical gentleman, Nova dived right into the freezing cold water. "C-cold! "He wanted to swim away, but his brain told him to just float on the water. Eventually, he got used to it, and began to soak in the ice cold water.

     "This... Is actually pretty relaxing.... "Nova said, closing his eyes. Not only was the water soothing, but the melody in the background made him tired. "Is that... A cello? Who could be up this late at night? "He swam to the grass, and dried off with a towel, beginning to follow the music. Along with the music, there were lyrics.

Vinyl seems like the kind of girl to throw a party, like Dash's friend, Pinkie Pie. But she also seems like a tsundere... "Nova pondered at the three girls he met. He was thinking about it so much, that he didn't get any sleep at all. He was sleepless for the night, and had a long day ahead of him.
