Celestia woke with a gentle moan. “What did I hit?” She asked taking a hoof and rubbing it over her head. She started at the barrenness of her forehead. Interiorly she groaned. “Don’t tell me whatever it was I flew into broke my horn.”

She had been laying on the forest floor of Everfree. She had been flying over it on her way to Ponyville from Dodge City when she had collided with an invisible wall and crashed into the forest below. After not finding her horn she began to check herself over.

She was again startled when she found her coat wasn’t the stainless white but a light blue. Even her mane a pastel rainbow of color was now a vivid and undoubtedly a bold rainbow color lacking the flowing aurora look. She took a deep breath to steady her flustered nerves.

She was glad to see she at least had some wings and would soon be on her way to Canterlot. Slowly in her mind it began to dawn on her who she had become as she saw the cutie mark.

“I’m-” She stuttered, “I’m Rainbow Dash.” Bold, brash, and somewhat of an egghead Rainbow Dash was all she could think of as she stared down at herself.

“What happened to me? I even sound like her.”

“Rainbow Dash what are you doing here?” She turned to see her faithful student coming out from behind a tree.

“Twilight, my-” She stopped herself not sure how she wanted to proceed. “My friend. What are you doing here?”

“I was on my way back from Zecora’s.” She said raising a hoof questioningly. “Are you alright you’ve got a big welt on your head.”

She felt further up on her head and found the apple sized bruise. “Yeah, um.” She smiled to herself seeing how well she could play the part. “I accidentally ran into a tree, but you won’t tell anypony, promise me you won’t tell anypony.” Twilight used a hoof to zip her lips.

  “You have my word.”

Celestia sighed. “Ah, thanks Twilight.” Unfurling her wings she took to the air. “I’m going to head back if that’s okay with you?”

“Sure, I don’t mind, I like these quite walks through the forest.” Celestia nodded and flew off in a very Rainbow Dash like way.

She snickered to herself as she got beyond ear shot. “I can’t believe I fooled Twilight.” The grin on her face grew mischievous. “I wonder.” And banking from her earlier course to Canterlot she soared for Ponyville.

No sooner had she landed in town square when she was greeted by Rarity and Fluttershy. “Rainbow Dash how are you?” Rarity asked coming up in front of her.

“Eh, can‘t complain. Where are you two off to?” She asked truly curious.

“Oh why that’s easy, we’re going to the spa so I can have my mane done.”

“Well… I-I was just want to relax. And you know hang out with Rarity.” Fluttershy said in her normal timid voice.

There was a flicker in Celestia’s eye. A spa, She thought, Just what I could use. “Um, hey can I join you?” Their was a stunned silence as Celestia grinning slightly looked at the two slack jawed ponies in front of her.

“You mean to say you want to go to the spa?” Rarity asked.

  “Yeah.”

“Like with a hooficure and and massage and mud bath?” Fluttershy added.

“Actually, yeah, that sounds nice.” Both were again taken aback.

“Are you feeling okay dear, you’ve a big bruise on your head.” Celestia bit her lip realizing that this pony wasn’t one to enjoy the leisure’s of the spa.

“I feel fine, now come on.” But she didn’t care, if she was going to have a chance to get away from it all she was going to take full advantage of it. Rarity still doubting if this was in fact Rainbow Dash. Or if the knot on her head had put some good sense into her.

“If you say so dear.” Rarity then trotted on with Fluttershy and Celestia. Celestia giggled and did a little prance. When the two looked to see she walked along like nothing was wrong.

At the spa Celestia was instantly taken away and felt her tense muscles unwind. The mud was cool, the massage to die for, the hooficure perfect, and the sauna releasing. It panged her when it all ended. She had in fact had a good time getting to know Twilight’s friends better. But now fully released from the headache that had been plaguing her earlier she took to see what else she could find.

She didn’t have to look long as she saw Applejack bucking apples in the field. See happened to look up and motioned for her to come down. “Hey, Rainbow, are we still on for this afternoon.”

Celestia was taken off guard “Um, for what again?” She wonder what she meant.

“Don’t be like that with me. You know tah destroy that old barn over yonder.” And she motioned with a hoof.

“Oh,” She sighed with relief. “Yeah, I’ll take care of that for yah.” She took off, and was about to fly off when she wheeled around and flapped over Applejack, “Hey, I’m not doing anything now so why don’t I just start, huh?”

“Uh, sure sugarcube ifin you like, I’ll be there in a little to check up on you.”

“Awesome, thanks.” Destroy a barn, all she had ever done was build, and well there were a few times but to destroy something somepony else built. Her heart raced at the idea. “So awesome.” She saw the barn Applejack had pointed out and raced towards it.

Beams broke as she crashed into it. Inside she broke first one then another as they came in range. “Ah ha and this one and that and that one!” She cried out over enjoying herself. Breaking through the roof she flew up for a few hundred yards, before screaming down at the barn. A loud laugh broke from her lips. “This is great.” She destroyed a whole half of the barn with one go. And not soon after the whole building was a piled heap on the ground. Pieces of wood were stuck in her mane and tail but she was happy.

Applejack came up and let out a loud whistle, “Now if that isn’t something, I would of thought you would still be workin on it.” Celestia smiled as she panted.

“Nope, I work hard for all my friends.”

“Is that so not like the time you were nappin and I was lookin for yah.”

“Okay, well not all the time.” She laughed.

Applejack laughed too. “Well, thank yah kindly.”

“That’s what friends are for.” Applejack struck a hoof out at her, she hesitated not knowing at first what to do. Oh, right. And she then gave her a brohoof. Taking again to the sky she was about to go see what else she could get into when a loud shout rent the air.

“Celestia!” The voice was so loud that Cadance and Shining Armor looked up from what they were doing in the Crystal Empire.

“What was that?” Cadance asked looking around.

“Sounded like your aunt.” Shining muttered getting back to the matter at hoof.

Celestia recognized that voice all too well. With a great bout of speed she flew for the castle. Luna was waiting a displeased look on her face.

“I should of known.” She muttered, “Out causing more problems for ponies?”

“Do you think I did this on purpose?”

“I don’t know what to think.”

So what’s up besides you?” She snickered loving playing the part she was.

“Well, besides that you or should I say the pony that looks like you almost destroyed half of Canterlot Castle with her magic cause she didn’t know how to use it, not much.” Celestia looked away not meeting her gaze.

“I can only guess it was Rainbow Dash that you are imitating. I used a sleep spell on her and she’s waiting in your room. I also wiped those last memories for good measure.”

“Good, now to the problem of turning me back.”

  “Oh, that’s easy really.”

“What?” They both asked looking around to see who had spoken. Just then Pinkie Pie floated by lifted away by a group of balloons. “Did you know that white light when it hit’s a prism turns white light into a rainbow. Is that the answer?” She looked over the stunned princesses. “No, oh well, hey Dash are we still on for the party tonight.”

  “Uh yeah, see you there.”

“Okie dokie lokie.” And with that she floated back down.

“I will never understand that pony.” Celestia said watching her descend towards Ponyville. She suddenly felt herself grabbed up in a magical field. She turned to see Luna grinning broadly. “What are you doing?”

“Well, if white light turns into a rainbow then a rainbow turns back to white light right?” She didn’t wait for an answer. As she hurled Celestia at a large forming crystal. She watched as her face made contact. Luna cringed but was satisfied with the results. Picking up the body of her sister she trotted to Celestia’s room.

Celestia moaned as she came to. Her head was again pounding. Feeling along her temple she reached her forehead and felt her horn. Opening her eyes she lay in front of a mirror and the regal from of the Sun Princess greeted her.

“Ah, phoo.” She muttered. There was a chuckle behind her. She turned to see Luna. “Always ruining my fun, I may have to banish you for another thousand years.”

“Whatever you say Trollestia.” She said getting up from the shadows. Celestia jumped back as something touched her wing. It dawned on her what had happened “There’s so many possibilities.”

“No!” Luna cried, not wanting any part of Celestia’s harebrained schemes.

“But it’d be fun.” She laughed trying to find her invisible sister. “Luna.” The door opened and closed on it’s own. “Luna?”
