//-------------------------------------------------------// A New Fate -by frost_bite- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-New Comer //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-New Comer -Planet Vegeta's atmosphere- Bardock had known he was going to fight Freiza sooner or later with his psychic power he gained during the invasion of planet Kenassa. He had just blown through an entire army and now stood in the coldness of space facing his former leader Frieza "Why Frieza!? Why did you turn your back on us!?" Demanded the saiyan. The Frost Demon replied "Well you see, Bardock, legend has it that a super sayain will be born and seeing that you dirty monkeys are getting stronger by the minute is not helpfull." Infuriated by his answer and insult Bardock yelled "All of this because of a stupid legend!?" "Not just that, the power of said legend is to be one of the greatest and I can't have one of you dirty monkeys trying to rebel against me Lord Freiza the strongest fighter in the univurse." As he was explaining himself Frieza was charging his supernova attack  at the tip of his finger. "No! I'm Not going to let you kill us all you crazy bastard!" Bardock exlaimed as he charged a ki attack of his own. Bardock charged all of his ki into one ball of energy and shot it at Frieza "I'm going to change the future, now DIE!" Frieza was amused by this and kept charging his supernova. The ball of energy at the tip of his finger had trippled in size and kept growing by the second! Bardock's attack had reached Frieza although instead of killing the tyrant what he saw had sent chills down his spine. His own atttack was swallowed by Frieza's supernova which was still growing by the moment! "NO, DAMMIT!" Bardock screamed Frieza's attack had reached it's maximum size, it was so large that it was the size of a city! Frieza then let out a howling cynacil laughter and with a flick of his finger he shot his massive ball of energy towards the proud saiyan warrior who had failed to protect his race and home planet, Vegeta. As the large mass of energy hit him he had seen a few flashes with his psychic ability, he saw his son Kakkarot facing off with Frieza. He saw one more flash of... pink? 'what the...?' was all he could think before being consumed by Frieza's devastating attack. "LOOK AT THE DAZZLING FIREWORKS! ZARBON, DEDORIA AREN'T THEY SPLENDID!?" Bardock faintly heard before everything faded away from him. Moments pass by and he is dealing with the most excruciating pain he's ever felt, soon it stops and he is floating in space but something is wrong... he doesn't recognize any of these planets! Bardock slowly drifts into the atmosphere of a nearby planet. Seconds pass by and he is now plummiting into this new planet. -Ponyville, Equestria- A party was being thrown at Twilight's Library for the defeat of the Changling Queen Chrysalis and the marriage of Shining Armour and Princess Cadence. "That sure was one heck of a close call." Applejack stated while thinking back during the changling invasion. "Yeah, no kidding! We would be in super-duper-mega-bad-all kind of trouble if it weren't for you two!" Pinkie Pie added gesturing to Princess Cadence and Shining Armour. "Yes but we may not be as lucky next time." Shining Said "Let's just hope there isn't a next time." Twilight trying to lighten her brother up. "Even if Chrysalis does come back we'll be ready to send her packin' again, we are the elements of harmony after all !" Rainbow Dash Confidently said. "Uh oh." Pinkie muttured. Fluttershy noticed what Pinkie had said. "What's wrong Pinkie?" Everypony's attention was now on Pinkie Pie. "Twitch-a-twitch!" Pinkie exclaimed. "I beg your parden dear?" Rarity asked. "My tail is a twitchin'!" Pinkie responded nervously. "What is that supposed to mean?" Questioned Cadence with confusion on her face. Cadence and Shining are currently unaware about the Pinkie senses. "Just take cover, trust me." Twilight said in a serious tone. Trusting her sister-in-law Cadence did as told and everypony else followed suit and took cover under a table or behind some furniture. Cadence still confused "I don't get it nothings happenin-" *CRASH* Something large had crashed through the roof of the library. "Eep!" Fluttershy squeeked as she hid inside a nearby closet. "What did I tell ya? Twitchy tail !" Pinkie explained. "We know sugar cube, but what in the hay crashed through the roof?" Applejack went to investigate the crash site. Not long after did everypony follow her except Fluttershy who kept her distance.Everypony was in shock at what the saw, everypony except Twilight who had an excited expression on her face. "Dear Celestia, an alien!" Twilight astonished "It's wearing some sort of clothing so I'm asuming it is a sentient life form!" Twilight examined this new creature, she spotted a tail like a monkey's "it must be some sort of primate" She prodded the tail with her hoof and an audible moan of agony came from the being. "Oh my, the poor thing might be hurt!" Rarity said. As soon as she heard this Fluttershy gained a sense of worry for this new creature and immediatly rushed to the group. "I'd like to take a look at it, if thats alright..." fluttershy silently offered. "Sure fluttershy, you are the only one that has experience with animals after all." Twilight said. "If that thing even is an animal !" Rainbow added. "Whatever it is it looks like it went to the sun and came back." Fluttershy noticed some charred spots of flesh. " Oh my goodness, the poor thing is bleeding!" She was too distracted with the burns to notice trails of blood from open wounds across the alien's body. "I'll go get some bandage wraps!" said Twilight quickly trotting out of the room. "No need Twilight, I'll just cast a healing spell!" Cadence trying to get Twilight's attention but in vain. The pink alicorn bent her head and laid the tip of her horn on what she assumed was the aliens's forehead, a light blue aura emitted from the horn and began to spread across the alien's damaged body. In a matter of seconds the alien's wounds had healed completely except for a scar that laid across the left side of it's face. Twilight came rushing in "I got the... Nevermind" seeing Cadence perform a healing spell on the alien. Another groan was heard coming from the alien. The alien's hands started to twitch a little trying to get itself to exit it's unconcious state. "I think it's waking up! Stand back give it some space!" Twilight said, everypony listened except for Princess Cadence who was still in front of the being.Fluttershy lost her courage when she realized it was waking up and quickly hid behind the group of ponies. The alien's eyes shot wide open, showing a big black pupil laying in each eye with no other color, and they did not look happy... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2- A Lost WArrior //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2- A Lost WArrior Bardock finally drifted back into conciousness but was suprised yet unhappy with what he was looking at. For some reason he was satring in the eyes of a pink horse with wings and a horn. 'That explains the pink I saw... wait, where am I?' Bardock thought to himself. The last thing he remembered was being desinigrated by Frieza's attack in space, how is he on land let alone alive? He efigured he'll get to that later, now he has to find out where the hell he was. Bardock sat up to inspect himself to find himself completely unharmed, he even felt stronger, had he been healed? This was all too strange for him. After his inspection he looked around and to his surprise he saw even more horses. There were six small ones and two larger ones, one of them being the pink one he woke up to find. There was a purple one with a pink stripe going through it's purple mane, two white ones except the manes were different colors (one being blue, the other purple), a bright pink one that had a curly mane that was a darker shade of pink, an orange one wearing a hat which he found odd,a cyan coloured on with a rainbow mane, and a yellow one that seems to be cowering behind her pink mane. He's still aware of the taller pink mare that is infront of him. He had noticed something about these animals though, some had horns or wings or niether. The pink one with both must represent some sort of authority. He also took note that they had tatttoo like markings on each of thier flanks. Bardock looked down and muttered "Great, I die and get sent to a magical barn. At least it's better than hell."Bardock figured he was dead, how else could he be 'living', that still doesn't change the fact he needs to know where he is. Out of nowhere he hears an agitated feminine voice "Excuse me but this is a library not a barn, thank you very much!" Bardock looked up in surprise'So there are people here?' he thought. "Where are you? Show yourself?" The sayain demanded. His day was full of suprises, and they kept coming. The purple unicorn from the group he examined stepped forward "I'm right here, are you insane?" "What the hel!?" He exclaimed in confusion. Now the rainbow maned one stepped in "Hey, what's your problem guy?" "Horses don't talk!" He replied. "Parden me but we are ponies not horses." Said the white smaller one with a curly mane. The purple one spoke again "You semm pretty suprised to see us talk." "As far as I'm concerned ponies are not supposed to talk!" Bardock felt immasculated for using the term 'ponies'. At that moment a door at the end of the room slammed open turning Bardock's and the ponies' attention to it. A small green and purple lizard like creature came through the door looking tired and irritated. "Jeez, can't a baby dragon get some sleep ariund here!?" It said then looked at Bardock "Woah, whose the new guy?" "That's right, we haven't learned your name then we can throw you a 'Welcome To Ponyville' party!" The smaller pink mare said bouncing up and down with a smile that nearly covered half her face. 'Ponyville/ Huh, a little cliche Bardock thought, at least he knew where he was but he didn't know the location of this Ponyville. He then stood up to realize he was alot taller than these ponies. The only ones that came close to his height were the pink alicorn and the white unicorn with a blue mane which he assumed was a stallion due to it being bulkier than the rest. Although they only reached up to his neck, the other six were up to the upper half of his abdomen. He looked at all the ponies and said in a gruff voice "Bardock." "Bard-what? Is that part of yer alien language?" Asked the orange one wearing a hat. Bardock narrowed his eyes at her and frowned "Thats my name." He said sternly. "Oops, sorry bout that." She said sheepishly. "Whatever" He said "I told you my name, it's only fair you tell me yours." Then again he was a sayain warrior, he didn't need to be fair on the battlefield. He could of blown them all up if he really wanted to. "He does have a point..." agreed the yellow mare hiding behind her mane. After she had spoke the pony hesitantly wallked over to Bardock. "um, I'm Fluttershy." She mumbled as she stook her hoof out for a hand/hoof shake. Bardock stared at her for a few moments then slowly accepted the invitation. He got a hold of Fluttershy's hoof, the yellow pegasus had beads of sweat dripping down her forehead at this pont. Bardock steadily shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you." He said although he still wore a frown upon his face. When she heard this Fluttershy was no longer nervouse around this new comer, infact she had a smile upon her face. Seeing his reaction with Fluttershy the rest of the ponies went to introduce themselves as well. The purple mare came up to him with enthusiasm "Greetings, I am Twilight Sparkle. You just have to tell me about yourself, like what you are or-" Bardock raised his hand at her, signaling her to stop. "Not right now." He said. "Oh okay" Twilight pouted. Just then the rainbow maned pegasus pulled away Twilight and stood in her place "I'm Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in Equestria!" As she said this she stook her chest out and expanded her wings for flair. Bardock raised an eyebrow to this statement 'Fastest flyer huh?' He thought. Bardock vanished from his spot and reappeared behind Rainbow Dash. "Make that 'second fastest' now." he said in a devious chuckle. Rainbow Dash deflated herself and blushed in embaressment. She turned to face Bardock. "Well let's have a race to find out, tough guy!" She challenged. "Maybe some other time, Rainbow, we still need to get aquianted. The white mare stuck her hoof out between Rainbow Dash and Bardock and stepped in between tye two. "I am Rarity, delighted to meet you." She flutterd her eye lashes at him as she said this which made him feel awkward. She looked at Bardock's armour in horror at how destroyed it was. "When this is over you simply must come to my shop for some new appearal." Bardock also looked at his damaged armour "Yeah maybe your right." He looked up to see the smaller pink pony dangling upside down from his head staring into his face. "What the fuck!?" He was completely taken by surpris. He hadn't sense her, how did she do that? "Hiya! My name's Pinkie pie, what kind of cake do you like? Chocolate, vanilla, strawbery ? I have to know so I can throw you a- mmph mph" Bardock covered her mouth with his hand. "Now, are you going to get off my head?" He asked staring into her big blue eyes. "Mm-hmm" She hummed through her covered mouth. Bardock removed his hand allowing the pink pony to climb off him. "Oh com on now, you don't have tuh be such a party pooper." The orange pony said. "Howdy, I'm Applejack." She tipped her hat off to him and he nodded back at her. "And I'm Princess Cadence, and this is my husband Shining Armour." The pink alicorn said gesturing to the stallion beside her. Bardock still had the same expression on his face from when he woke up. Twilight noticed this "You're not a very happy person, are you?" He said nothing and just stared at her, she could feel his eyes pierce through her soul "Anyway," she spoke again "earlier you said you died? What was that about?" "You don't look pretty dead to me." Rainbow Dash observing the obvious. Bardock finally broke his silence "Before I ended up here I was in battle and the last thing I remeber was being swalloewd by a giant ball of energy which should of killed me." "Oh my," Rarity commented "what were you fighting for?" Bardock curled his hand into a fist, gettting angry thinking back to his fight with Frieza. To think it wasn't possible his face looked even angrier, he cringed his teeth in frustration. "I Don't got time for this!" Rainbow Dash flew up to him "What's your deal man!?" Bardock is beyond upset at this point and pointed an open palm at Rainboe Dash's face "Back the hell off, now!" He charged a ki ball into his hand. Rainbow Dash felt the heat coming from the sudden ball of energy and realized the danger she was in, she wasn't going to get on his bad side from now on. Rainbow dropped to the floor and slowly backed away from the enraged sayain, she was lucky it was a threat this time. "Thought so" he said. A purple aura like bubble surrounded the ponies. Bardock looked for it's source and saw that it was Shining who had put up the shield. "Tch" Was all Bardock said before he flew up the ceiling from where he entered. Once outside he chose a random direction and flew off. Once Shining knew he was gone he let down his shield. "Geez! What a bully!" Pinkie exclaimed. "Well let's not jumb to conclusion," Shining said "he's in a new land he knows nothing about and besides that he had a near death experience, He just needs space to let it sink in and another chance." Rainbow's ears perked up to this "Another chance!? He tried tokill me!" She yelled. "Look Rainbow, I'm not saying you're wrong but maybe you should'nt of gotten in his face like that, especially if we know nothing about him." Twilight tried to explain. "Whatever..." Rainbow muttered. "Um I hate tuh change the subject but where in the hay is Fluttershy!?" Applejack's words shocked everypony. Rarity gasped "She must of gone after that Bardock character when we were'nt paying attention!" Rainbow Dash's eyes widened and without any warning she went through the hole Bardock did. When she was outside she scanned every direction untill she saw a yellow silhouette south-east of her direction then she took off. Fluttershy went to go look for Bardock as soon as Shining let down his bubble shield. She saw Bardock faintly in the distance and took off as fast as her wings would carry her in that direction. 'Poor Bardock' she thought You are just like a scared defenseless animal resorting to violence...' Her thoughts were cut off as a flash of blue went past her and stopped five feet in front of her. It was Rainbow Dash who had a face of worry mixed with anger like a parent's. "Where do you think you're going?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy closed her eyes and breathlessly said "I'm going to find Bardock." Rainbow was in disbelief "Why!? In case you have'nt noticed he tried to kill me!" "Yes but he could change his ways if we show him kindness, besides remember the manticore? It was a scared hurt animal until we showed it not to be afraid of us. Bardock is somewhat in the same situation as the manticore. Trust me on this, please?" Rainbow Dash wasn't too sure but then again Fluttershy was the element of kindness after all, if anyone she could change Bardock. Rainbow Dash got close to Fluttershy, close enough to give her a hug. "Please becareful and if he tries any funny buisness you come right back to us." Fluttershy smiled at her friend "I promise, I'll get him to be... calmer." She wasn't even sure that she could accomplish this but she had hope for him. The two disengaged thier hug and flew opposite directions. Rainbow Dash went to tell her friends Fluttershy's plans and they asked why she didn't stop her, she told them that she had faith in Fluttershy. Fluttershy was extremely nervouse, she is about to confront a beast beyond her imagination. After six minutes of searching by air Fluttershy spotted Bardock sitting at a river bank. 'Here goes nothing...' she thought as she descended to his position. Time has passed by rather quickly with the past events, it was night time and there was a full moon out... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3- Change of heart //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3- Change of heart *Everfree forest* Bardock didn't care where he was going he just wanted to get away from those damn ponies. Five minutes of flying past trees, bushes, and other form of greenery Bardock decided to stop at a lake side within the forest. There was a big clearing with a cave nearby, it would have to do as a temporary home for now. Bardock landed next to the shore of the lake, he knelt and scooped up the crystal blue blue water in his hands and started to drink. He was suprised at how clear the water was, he could spot the deepest area in the body of water from where he was. He looked down at his own reflection in the water as everything started to fade away. Seconds passed by and a familiar scene was generating in his area, a grass valley with thin trees and mountains in the distance. A voice came from behind "Father..." Bardock already knew who it was. "Hello, Kakkarot." He said. "Remember father, be diferent than Frieza. You have the chance to be a better person now, please use this chance." His son said. Bardock looked away from his reflection and turned around to look at his son, arm reaching out to try and touch his shoulder. right when he was about to make contact with Kakkarot he vanished. "Yes, my son" He said. When those words escaped his mouth everything faded away again and he returned to the forest area he was in before the vision. Fluttershy was scared by the fact she was in the Everfree but overcame it eventually because she was determined to find Bardock. She tried her best to catch up because of his great speed but she was no where near close to him. With time she spotted him looking out at a lake side and descended slowly behind him. "Uh-um h-h-hello muh-mister Bardock ?" She nervously said.He heard her soft scared voice and immedtialy could tell it was Fluttershy. "What do you want ?" He demanded. She continued to stutter "Oh w-w-well I-I..." "C'mon I don't have all day, well whats left of it anyway." He interrupted. His rudeness was starting to irretate Fluttershy now. She started to fly a litle to reach his eye level even though his back was still turned to her. Fluttershy bursted out "Now you look here Bardock, we tried being friendly to you but you acted like a jerk and you still are acting like one! The least you can do is show a LITTLE respect !" She was huffing due to her anger but stopped because she just realized what she had said. "Oh no..." "Heh-heh, " he began to laugh "HAHAHAHAHAHA !" This caught Fluttershy off guard. "Not alot of people would tell me that, that took guts kid." "Oh, well um thanks." she replied with a smile and a light blush. He turned around and looked at her with a small smile "Maybe your'e not too bad after all... oh shit." His smile quickly disapeared, when he turned to look at the hovering Fluttershy he also noticed the moon behind her in the dark blue, star filled sky. It was full and big. "What's wrong ?" she asked him. He didn't answer but kept staring past her. Fluttershy looked over her shoulder to try and find what he was looking at but saw nothing special other than the moon. She turned back to Bardock, a look of shock had claimed her face. Something was happening to Bardock, his mouth was open baring large canines that seemed to of come out of no where. *Canterlot* Princess Celestia wasn sitting next to her sister, Princess Luna, each in their own throne. Celestia was satring out a massive mozaic window with a worried look on her face. "You can feel this presence too, can't you sister ?" Luna asked. "Yes, it bothers me for I can not tell if it's here for good or..." She didn't finish her sentance. "Pray for good." Luna added *Everfree* "Guh-uh" Bardock grunted. He dropped to his knees and his body started to bulge. "Bardock !" Fluttershy shocked "Please stay here I'lll go get help !" With that being said she begun to take off but was pulled back by something big, scaley and clawed. A large red out stretched arm protruding from the cave got hold of Fluttershy. She knew what it was but was too scared to believe it. 'Dragon' she thought, she was correct. As if on cue two large golden eyes illuminated within the cave and krept closer to it's arm to see it's prize. Finally the massive red beast came out of the cave. It looked at Fluttershy with a big toothy smile. Fluttershy was parylized with fear all she could do is watch as the dragon opened its mouth and pull her towards it. Tears started to flow from hers eyes but she couldnt scream, the breath of the dragon stunk she wanted to vomit. She closed her eyes waiting for it all to happen, seconds passed then moments. She should of been eaten by now, what was happening? She hesitantly opened her eyes to the dragon's head held in a head lock from behind, one arm around the neck and the other holding the the dragon's arm back from moving closer to it's mouth. She looked at her savior, it was a giant ape but it was wearing Bardock's armour. She looked at where Bardock originally was but he wasn't there just his red head rag. She looked back the great ape "Bardock !?" she called out. The ape peered over the dragon's shoulder to look at Fluttershy being captive. The ape had red eyes with no pupils but Fluttershy could tell he was looking at her. "But how !?" She exclaimed. The ape took it's eyes off Fluttershy and looked sktward towards the moon. Fluttershy finally understood what it ment: the moon transforms him, but why? The dragon noticed Bardock had tooken his focus off him and used this oppurtunity to strike back. The dragon manuvered it's tail to sweep Bardock off his feet. The great ape fell backwards letting go of the dragon's arm to try to stop himself from falling although still holding the neck of the dragon. The dragon bent his head as low as possible and bit on the ape's arm with all it's force.This caused Bardock to let go of the dragon completely, both tumbled on the dirt floor causing a small earthquake. *Ponyville* "Are you sure she can handle this ?" Shining asked Rainbow Dash "Yes." Rainbow simply replied but having courage in her voice. The floor shook a little and Shining looked at Rainbow with a raised eyebrow. Shining turned to the rest of the girls "I'm going to look for her." he said Rainbow stood behind him. "Me too, I shouldn't of let her go out there alone." Cadence looked at the two. "Please, becareful." she said. Rainbow and Shining gave a nod and left the library *Everfree* The two beasts were getting up slowly. As soon as both got up they stared off each other, waiting for who made the next move. Bardock rushed the dragon with punches and kicks but kept missing, he was not as fast in his oozaru form. The dragon dodged and ducked with it's slender body. Bardock grew tired of missing and shot an energy blast on the floor to temporarily blind the dragon with dust and dirt flying in the air. The dragon flapped it's wings to clear the air but it was too late the great ape connected a right hook on the dragon's jaw. The dragon held it's jaw with both clawed hands, releasing Fluttershy in the process. Fluttershy was too scared to fly and let out a scream as she was tossed aside towards trees. Bardock reacted quickly and lept towards Fluttershy cathing her with and out streched arm, Bardock had to turn his back on the dragon for a split second. The dragon took this second oppertunity to strike and lunged towards Bardock clamping his it's jaws on his tail. Bardock felt the most pain crawl up his spine and with a quick jerk from the dragon the tail snapped off! Bardock froze as he slowly shrunk down to his normal size still holding Fluttershy with one arm, she was amazed by his strength. With his free arm the wide eyed Bardock felt lower part of his back, a bloody section wjere his tail once was. The dragon swallowed the tail and stood over Bardock whose back was still turned. The dragon inhaled, smoke coming from his mouth. Bardock clenched his free fist and turned around to see the dragon about to breath fire, he shot his free hand forward and shot all his power in one energy wave through the dragon. "DIIIIEEEEEE BASTAAAAAAAARD!" Bardock screamed as shot the blast through the dragon. The power was so great the dragon flew skyward by the force of energy. *Somewhere else in the Everfree* Shining and Rainbow heard loud roars in the forest and suspected Bardock had to be there. Out of nowhere a beam of light appeard with a screaming voice within two miles of there location. "Quickly, over there !" Shining yelled then both  galloped as quickly as they could. The body of the dragon came crashing down the ground with a sizzling hole that went right though it's chest and out the back, trees shook and the water seemed to do a wave like motion from the impact. Bardock stood there panting with an open palm pointed to the sky and still holding a crying Fluttershy who was burrying her head in his chest. Some twigs snapped from behind Bardock and he turned to see a shocked Rainbow Dash and Shining Armour "He killed a dragon..." Shining whispered. He regained his composure. "Ahem, um your'e coming with us tomarrow." He said to Bardock. "Fine, but which direction was the town in? She needs a hospital." Bardock said. Shining pointed to where Ponyville was and Bardock quickly flew off with Fluttershy. "What's going to happen tomarrow ?" Rainbow asked Shining. "We're taking him to Celesta so she can decide his fate here." He replied //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4- Judgement //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4- Judgement Bardock flew towards the direction of Ponyville with whatever energy he had left over the Everfre forest, Fluttershy had fallen asleep in his arms due to shock. Bardock was lost in thought because of the vision he had with his son, he had promised to be better than Frieza and he was damn well not going to go back on that. He saw Ponyville in the distance.'Finally.' He thought. He was growing tired with each passing moment and struggled to stay awake. Bardock finally reached the foot of Ponyville; upon his arrival he landed, trudging to the building with a red cross on it wich he assumed was the hospital. He bursted through the building startling all the ponies inside who were either sitting behind a counter or waiting on a chair to be seen by a doctor. He ran to the front counter where a scared pearl white mare with pink mane was sitting and laid Fluttershy on the counter. "She needs help..." Bardock said before collapsing due to exhaustion. When the strange new comer fainted the mare trotted through  a pair of double doors yelling for asisstance. Right away three large unicorn colts rushed out through the doors. One levitated Fluttershy on a stretcher and rushed back through the doors while the other two were trying to figure out what to do with the alien. "Take him too." A voice said to the colts, they turned to see who it was and saw Shining Armour. Recognizing the stallion the the colts did without question. *Library* Twilight was pacing around biting her lower lip while the other ponies talked amongst themselves. Cadence noticed Twilight and approached Twilight. "I'm sure they're fine." Cadence said nuzzling her sister in law to comfort her. "I know but if something happened," Twilight said " I just dont know what Id do" "We`re all worried, sugarcube." Applejack added. "Yeah me too Twi but I`m not going to let that bring me down!" Pinkie said "So turn that frown upside down!" "Yes, darling, so please be don`t be troubled." Rarity added. Twilight gave a small smile, all the rest of the girls smiled too and got together for a group hug. *Hospital* Bardock was being hauled off to a room on a stretcher that was much too small for him, his legs were hanging off due to his large size. The doctor, a light green unicorn stallion with a short yelow mane, volunteered to check out Bardock since he is an expert on Minotaur anatomy and Bardock looked pretty close to a minotaur. Shining was walking along with the doctor whose name is Amino Patella.  When they reached the room of destination the same problem was encountered when putting him on the bed: Bardock was much too large and his legs were hanging off the end but it`ll have to do. "What`s the story with this one?" Amino asked Shining while attaching a heart monitor to Bardock. "Believe it or not, he fought a dragon... and won." Shining staright forwardly explained. "I beg your pardon," the doctor said shocked, looking awe struck at Shining "but did you say a dragon?" Shining nodded in response. "Bringing in an alien already took the cake but it fighting-" "Sorry to interrupt you, doc, but his name is Bardock." Shining said. "Is that so? Well, Bardock fighting a dragon -of all things- is beyond comprehension for me. Im stating the obvious here but with his height I dont think fighting a dragon is possible." The doctor was checking Bardocks vitals and was surprised by the results. "Well Ill be damned," Amino said "he seems to be recovering faster than an average pony would, he`s sleeping like a baby in fact. He sure is a strange one." "So how`s our other patient doing?" Shining asked. "If your reffering to Fluttershy, she has a few bruises and scratches. A few days of rest should have her as good as new." Amino replied. "Thats good, Ill go tell the others. Once those two are awake send them over to Twilights Library." Shining said. He left the hospital to tell his sister, wife, and friends the news. *Fluttershy`s room* Rainbow Dash was sitting  beside watching Fluttershy sleep. She was sad to see her one of her best friends like this and felt guilt taking over her. She hung her head low, " This is all my fault, I should of never let you go alone." She blamed herself for what happened. She felt a hoof lay on her shoulder, she looked up to see Fluttershy with a smiling at her. "Its not your fault, Rainbow." She said to her dear friend. Rainbow Dash was overwhelmed with joy and embraced her friend in a taight hug. "Rainbow (gasp) cant (gasp) breath." Fluttershy struggled to say. Rainbow Dash immediatly let her go. "Sorry heh." Rainbow said rubbing the back of her neck, blushing. "Are you alright?" She asked. "A little sore but nothing serious, thank you." Fluttershy answered. "Knock knock," came a voice from the door way, it was Amino Patella "good to see youre up miss Fluttershy. A few days rest and youll be fine; come, lets check you out." Fluttershy nodded but before she got up she had asked "What about Bardock?" "He`s sleeping, surprisingly he is recovering pretty fast. Would you like to see him?" Amino answered with a question of his own. "Yes, please." Fluttershy replied. Blackness... Bardock had been floating around in pure blackness. `Where am I? he thought. He saw a small light a long distance away, curious he slowly went to it. Every inch he got closer the light would get brighter. Finally when he reached it the light he reached for it, as soon as got hold of it the same landscape as his last vision appeared. Bardock looked at his hand and released the light, when he looked back up Kakarot was in front of him. "You did good father, Im proud." he said before vanishing. After Kakarot had vanished everything started to warp away and Bardock felt himself getting sucked into another area. Bardocks eyes shot open and he quickly sat up realizing he was on a bed.Just a dream he thought. He noticed that Fluttershy and Rainbowdash were at his bedside, asleep. "Ah, good to finally se that you`re awake." An unfamiliar voice said. Bardock looked to see a green unicorn stallion standing at the doorway of the room. "Hello, I am Doctor Amino Patella but you can just call me Amino. You were out for quite some time, those two have been there a while." "Where you the one who treated me?" Bardock asked. "Why yes, and I must say you sure are something special. I`ve never deen anypony make a speedy recovery like you have, especially after a beating like that." Amino said. "That`s a saiyan for ya, near death one minute and completely healed the next." Bardock replied. "By the way Is it true you killed a dragon?" Amino asked. "You mean that big S.O.B that bit my tail off then yeah, if only I hadnt transformed i wouldve killed it sooner. I`d do it again if I had the chance." Bardock said with an aggrivated tone. "My word, he was`nt kidding." Amino stated. "Wait, you said you had a tail?" "So?" Bardock replied. "I believe I have an idea on how to grow it back, although you`ll need to consult with Princess Celestia about that." Amino told him. "Thanks, I`ll keep that in mind." Bardock said. He is still pretty pissed about losing his tail, although if this "Princess Celestia" person can regrow his tail she must have powers beyond his imagination. "Anywho, would you like to check out?" Amino offered. "Sure, whatever." Bardock replied. He looked over at the two mares at his bedside, stil asleep. "Wanna see something funny?" he asked with a devious smile. "What do you plan on doing?" Amino said back a little worried. "Just watch." Bardock said before standing up silently trying not to desturb the mares. He crept behind them and spread his arms wide. He looked back at Amino with an evil look on his face. "What are you going to-" Amino didnt finish what he was going to say, Bardock quickly slapped his palms together making the loudest *smack* ever. The noise was so loud that it scared Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy awake. Rainbow Dash jumped up so high that she hit her head on the ceiling. Fluttershy dropped on her back with her limbs in the air and a terrified look on her face. Amino couldnt help but let out a little chuckle. "Good youre awaike, lets get outta here." Bardock said to the girls. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" Rainbow yelled at Bardock. "Wake up call." Bardock replied with a shrug, the devious smile still on his face. "Could you please do it a more gentle way next timre, If you don`t mind that is?" Flutershy squeaked. She looked at Bardock more carefully, something was different about him. "Oh my, is that a smile I see?" she commented. Even though he still had his brows furrowed like usual Bardock had a small smile on him. "Dont get used to it." Bardock replied. "Now lets get  moving, the others are waiting." he added. *Twilight`s library* "So they`re alright then?" Twilight asked her brother who had arrived from the hospital to deliver the good news. "Yep, just resting up a bit. They should be out in no time." Shining said. "Oh thank heavens!" Rarity exlaimed. "Wait a minute, where`s Dashie?" Pinkie asked. "Stayed behind to look after Fluttershy." Shining answered. "Whats goin tuh happen next? Fer when they get out ah mean." Applejack wondered. "We are going to have to bring Bardock to Princess Celestia, to decide his fate in Equestria." Shining explained. "Twilight, could you send a letter explaining our situation?" "No problem. Spike, you ready?" Twilight asked the baby dragon. He ran to get a scroll and quil, when he got his materials he saluted in response. "Alright then,... 'Dear Princess Celestia, We have an unannounced visitor, species unknown but speaks Equistrian, although he may be a danger. He is also a savior, he saved my dear friend Fluttershy. This creature is named Bardock, he is also not of this world. We are currently unsure if he is friend or foe, hes mostly friend... for now. He can get aggresive easily so we are careful around him. His resemblance is like that of a minotaurs but there are major differances between the two. There is something wierd about him, he can conduct some sort of magic material without possesing a horn and fly without wings too. We have no idea what to do with him so we come to you for this situation. ~ Your faithful student,                                       Twilight Sparkle.' " "Okay annnd done." Spike said before he sent the letter in a puff of green smoke. *Canterlot Castle* "This energy, it just dissapeared." The Princess of the night told her sister. "Whatever it is, I just hope no damage has been done to my subjects. It was near Ponyville too, maybe it would be wise not to think on it." Celestia said. As soon as she said this a scroll had magically popped right in front of her. She caught it with her magic, unrolled it and began to read. She let out a sigh of relief knowing no one was hurt, although she wasn`t completely at ease. "Oh my, Lu-Lu could you go to Ponyville and take a carriage... we have a visitor." Celestia said while levatating a new scroll and quil to herself and begun to write. "Of course dear sister." Luna said walking out of the throne room. *Twilight`s library* Not long after when Spike sent the letter a response letter had made it`s way out of the baby dragon. Twilight got the letter with her magic and begun to read it. "Just like you said, Shining, Princess celestia wants to see him." Twilight said after reading the letter. "Princess Luna is coming with a carriage." She added. "We need to get those two out of bed." Shining said walking to the door. As soon as he opened the door he saw Bardock awaiting on the other side. "Excuse me." he said, the sayain complied and got out of the way. Shining walked out the library and walked halfway down the street to the hospital and went to a complete stop when realization dawned on him and facehoofed. He turned around with his head down embaressed of what he just did. Everyone started to laugh except Bardock, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash who had no idea what was going on. "Mission accomplished dear." Cadence teased her husband, he blushed in reponse. Everypony walked outside to where the newly released patients were. "I`m not even gonna ask." Rainbow said. "And what is it you`re not asking about?" a voice familiar to all excpet Bardock asked. Everyone turned to see Princess Luna decending in a carriage pulled by two royal gaurd stallion pegasi. As soon as she stepped out of her carriage everypony bowwed down before thier princess, Bardock stood there with his arms crossed looking at the new pony before him. His assumptions were correct from before: those that possess both horn and wings have some kind of authority, royalty in this case. Her appearance was different from that of Cadence`s, she was a dark bule color with a man and tail that had a wave like motion even though there was no wind. Her mane had no color, instead it was the night sky even though it was day out. A guard noticed Bardock wasn`t bowing to Luna "You dare not bow before the Princess!?" he challenged. "You dare speak to me with that tone?" Bardock challenged back. The guard charged Bardock, "You incolent little-agh!" the guard tried to reply but Bardock cut him off by grabbing him by the throat. This caught everypony off guard. The pony was much smaller than Bardock, he lifted up the guard to eye level, "You do NOT want to piss me off!" Bardock raged at the pony. He let go of the guard, letting him fall on his side gasping for air. He turned to Luna "Where are my manners?" he sarcasticaly said as he knelt before her. "Rise." Luna said and everyone did so, even Bardock. "I apologise for my guard`s behavior but your violence was uncalled for." Luna said to Bardock. "I only acted in self defence." Bardock replied, "Besides you should feel previlaged, I dont even kneel before my own king." he added running his finger across the scar on his face. "I also accept your apology, just dont let it happen again." "Your behavior is unsettling, hopefully you change your ways when my sister and I bestow judgement on you." Luna said back. "Speaking of which, thats why I`ve arrived. You are being escorted to the Canterlot Castle so we can decide your fate in Equestria." "Bardock, could you please behave yourself?" Fluttershy asked her savior. He looked down at her; he stared into her eyes, she was a pure soul... like he saw in Kakarot. "Fine." he answered. Luna was surprised that Fluttershy, of all ponies, got Bardock to settle down. "Well then, shall we get going?" Luna suggested "Yeah, I think we`re ready." Twilight said. Almost everypony fit in the carriage, Bardock knew he was too large to fit in the carriage. "This may be a tight squeeze but you could probably fit." Twilight said. "No, I`ll just follow the carriage." Bardock said as he started started to levitate in the air. "Are you sure you can keep up?" Rainbow Dash mocked. "I was about to ask the same thing." Bardock called back. "Oh its on!" Rainbow yelled. She flew out of the carriage. "You guys go on ahead, we`ll get there later!" "If you insist." Luna replied, with that the carriage took off. "Finally gonna race huh?" Bardock scoffed. "Yeah whatever, just don`t go on a rampage when you lose." Rainbow said back. "If you say so." Bardock shrugged. "Where are we going anyways, i don`t know where this Canterlot place is." "It`s just over those mountains," Rainbow pointed to some large mountains that were at least sixty miles away, "you may not see it at first but the city will be pretty visible once we get close." Bardock tightened his head band, "Alright then, what are we waiting for?" "Okay, starting from a countdown from three. Let`s take off on the ground first, so we get an even start." Bardock and Rainbow Dash lined up on a grass field, both hunched over like a track racer ready to race. Rainbow started off, "Three.." Bardock continued, charging his energy "Two..." Bardock and Rainbow simultaneously "ONE!!!" The take off was so intense that the ground from once they stood caved in leaving a large crater. Rainbow Dash left a rainbow colored line behind her and Bardock had a light blue line trailing behind him. Both were neck and neck, although they weren`t going full speed. Both sped little by little trying to figure out each others limits, Bardock charged  full power and sped past Rainbow dash. He looked back at Rainbow Dash and gave a small wave before taking off. "Oh no you dont!" Rainbow called out. She didnt want to use it this early in the race but she had no choice, she had to do a sonic rainboom! She narrowed her body and flapped her wings as fast as she could, electricity started pulsing from her front. Within seconds she broke the sound barrier and created a sonic rainboom, a spectra of rainbow colored rings were let out along with a loud booming. Bardock turned to see what the noise was and to his surprise Rainbow Dash was catching up to him and fast! He turned forward again and put every ounce of energy in flying, he knew he was going to regret it later but he didnt want to lose. He saw something in the distance but it wasnt thie city, it looked way too small. Bardock concentrated his sight on the upcoming object, it was the carriage the others left in! Bardock moved a good distance to the left to make shure he wouldn`t collide with the carriage even though he was far away. Rainbow saw his actions and decided to do the same but move on the right instead. They were once again neck and neck approaching the carriage. *Meanwhile...* "That Bardock is quite the character," Luna said to the rest of the ponies in the carriage, "I`m interested to learen more about him." "Good luck, he wouldn`t tell me anything." Twilight said. "I wonder who is going to win the race. Probably Dashie, she never loses!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. "You can`t be too sure, darling, we still have no idea what Bardock is capable of, besides being a brute." said Rarity. "I don`t see all the fuss, its just a race." Cadence shrugged. "Well fer Rainbow Dash its her darn pride." Applejack added. Everypony else agreed with a nod. "Do you guys hear that?" Fluttershy squeaked. "Hear what?" Twilight asked. WHOOOOOOOSH Something incredibly fast went past the carriage causing to shake from its powerful force. "What the hay was that!" yelled Applejack. Shining looked out the carriage and saw two colorful streaks going side by side. "Its them!" Both competitors were straining to out fly each other. The city was coming into view, now was the time to act. Bardock pushed his body beyond his limits and with a ginal burst of energy he shot foward. Rainbow couldnt believe she was about to lose, she closed her eyes and sped as fast as her wings allowed. It wasnt enough Bardock had reached the edge of the city and abruptly stopped causing a sonic boom due to all the force. Bardock was about to gloat but when he turned around to face Rainbow Dash she was still speeding and was about headed straight for a pointed edge of a building. "SLOW DOWN!" Bardock yelled. Rainbow shot open her eyes and saw what she was going to run into. With all her might she spread open her wings to try to get wind resistance but she was still going to fast. Bardock knew she wasn`t going to make it, he flew towards her as fast as he could. Rainbow was scared she couldnt slow down, she was about to be impaled by the buildings edge. She closed her eyes and embraced herslef for the pain. Right when she was about to collide with the building she felt something grab her around the waist and pull her out of harms way. She opened her eyes to see Bardock holding her, flying away from the building that nearly claimed her life. He decended to the ground below where ponies started cheering for the hero who saved Rainbow Dash. "Umm, you can let me down now." Ranbow said to Bardock. He did so and she landed on her hooves, she nearly collapsed she was so tired but she toughed it out. The carriage wasn`t far behind and landed a few feet from Bardock. Everypony rushed out to Rainbow Dash except Princess Luna who walked towards Bardock. "We saw what happened from afar and I must say I am very gratefull you saved one of my subjects." She thanked Bardock. "I may be a ruthless bastard but that doesnt mean i dont care." Bardock said with a light smile. "Indeed, lets get this over with. Im sure you`ll be fine after your actions today." Luna replied with a wink. *Princesses` throne* Luna led everyone to the royal throne room in the castle where her sister awaited for the arrival of Bardock. When they reached thier destination there were a large pair of double doors. Luna opened the doors with her magic and within was Princess Celestia, a white pony who was taller than Luna, her mane and tale had the same wave like motion Luna has except the colors were different. She reached Bardocks height. Luna walked ahead on the red carpet that led to her throne next to her sisters. Everyone else walked in after Luna took her seat. Bardock noticed the amount of guards in the room, he was gonna have to try his best not to get into any fights. Everypony bowed before the Princesses of night and day, Bardock took this as his cue kneel before them before another guard loses his cool. "Greetings my little ponies and the one name Bardock." Princess Celestia said in a soothing tone. Bardock gave a nod in response, Celestia noticed he looked angy for some reason. "Bardock, may I ask what is upsetting you?" "This is just me, Im not angry if thats what you`re thinking." he responded. "I`m just making sure, before I go off topic again how did you come to be in Equestria? It is my understanding that you are not of this world, am I correct?" She asked "Yes you are correct, Im an alien to this world. How I came to be in this world is beyond me, I shouldnt even be alive right now." he answered. "And why is that?" Celestia asked. This even had Luna curious. "Because I was in battle with a tyrant that threatened my entire race- the Saiyans, we lived under is rule for so long and he turned his back on us! Weve been loyal to him, weve KILLED entire planets for him! We had no choice! Sure the Saiyans were a race that loved battle but killing is something I did not want to do, so many innocent lives lost all because we were forced to!" Bardocks story brought tears to the eyes of most of the ponies, even Celestia had a tear rolling down her cheek. The more he told his story the angrier he got, he clenched his fist so tight he started bleeding."We were his dogs and when he didnt need us anymore he tried to put us down. I had enough when my best friend died in my arms." He took off and held the headband he wore "This was originally a white cloth, the red is the blood of my allies. I wear it to remind me of the sins the tyrant, Frieza, committed against us. As I said before I had enough, I knew he was planning to eradicate the saiyans so I took a stand alone against Frieza. The last thing I remember on that day was taking a large blast head on. My attempt to save my planet, my race, and possibly my sons were all in vain." Bardock himself had a tear rolling on his face. "I`m sorry to hear such a sad story." Celestia said almost on the verge of crying. "Please tell me about the saiyans, but only if you want to." "As I said before, we loved battle. It`s in our blood. We are a remarkeable race, whenever we heal from battle wether we won or lost we would become stronger in power and strength." Bardock explained, putting his headband back on. There is one more thing: the oozaru. We have the ability to turn into large ape like monsters, however this can only be done with a tail and there has to be a full mon out." "I see your tail is missing, what happened to it?" Celestia wondered. "I`ll come back on that later." he replied "You said you have powers, what kind of power do you possess?" She asked. "Pure energy," he said "it can be use in multiple ways. We mostly used our power for battle." he charged a ki ball in his palm to show what he meant. "And how strong are you?" Luna added. "There`s only one way to show that." he said as he took stance and started charging is energy, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" His energy was so intense electricty started pulsing around him, he powered up even further. Half his power alone made all of Canterlot shake. The ponies tried to keep themselves from falling with the shaking ground, except Pinkie Pie who went bouncing around enjoying herself. Knowing that if he went any further would cause the castle to collapse so he eased up untill his power was completely down. "Mind you I was only using half my power." Princess Celestia and Luna sat with thier jaws on the floor. They knew he was powerful but not THAT strong. "You are truely one of the most powerful beings I`ve ever encountered." Celestia uttered. What frieghtned her was if he wast that strong, Freiza would of been a nightmare. "There is on more thing we need to go over though, are you friend or foe?" Celestia was kind of nervouse to ask that. "Friend. I may have done things that will make me otherwise but I assure you, I am not here with any bad intentions." he said. "Um, may I say something?" Fluttershy asked nervously. "Yes dear." Celestia said. "Bardock is definetley a friend, he saved my life without having thoughts about his own safety." Fluttershy explained. "He used his power to transform to save me from a dragon." "Is that so?" Celestia asked Bardock. He nodded to give her an answer. "Yeah he`s a friend!" Rainbow Dash added, "He saved me from being splattered all over one of those buildings outside. Sure I may of not liked him when we first met but now I think he may be as awesome as me." "This is also true, sister, I`ve seen him save Rainbow Dash with my own eyes." said Luna. "Yes this is also true but I must admit, Im not a nice guy.You have to remember I am a warrior who has killed countless lives. Although it may not change what I have done, I regret doing those actions. Im also a fighter, there is no changing that. I don`t wish to cause trouble to an entire race because of my nature. Celestia was lost in thought. She couldnt determine wether to let him stay or not, he saved two of her subjects-who also happen to be the part of the elements of harmony- but then again hes killed many and is part of a race that loves to fight. "It`s been decided, you shall stay here in Equestria for as long as you please. I, Princess Celestia, declare Bardock the Sayain an official citizen of Equestria." The ponies cheered in excitement for thier new friend. "Princess Celestia, may I ask you for a favor?" Bardock asked. "What is it Bardock?" she answered. "I was told to come to you for help regrow my tail, I lost it in the battle with the dragon." Bardock said with hopes of his tail coming back. "I can not do this," Celestia had said which dissapointed Bardock, "however, the elements of harmony can." "Thats right, the elements restored my lovely tail when it was cut off." Rarity said matter of factly. "It is the least I can do for you." Celestia smiled. "Well lets not waste time, lets grow that tail back!" Twilight announced. *Somewhere else in the castle* Celestia took Bardock and the bearers of the elements of harmony to a hallway that ended with some sort of door that had a special lock to it. Celestia walked to the end of the hallway where there laid a rounded hole in the wall. She lowered her head and put her horn in the lock and released magic, as soon as she did this an audible click was heard and the dor separated revealing a pedestal that held a treasure chest. She levitated the small chest and opened it revealing multiple items of jewelery, the elements of harmony. All elements were levitated to thier respectful bearers and put on. "Bardock, are you ready to experience the power of the elements of harmony?" Celestia asked the sayain, as usaul he nodded in response. "Alright then, whatever you don`t fight it." With that Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy activated the power of the elements. Each pony levitated and the jewel encrusted in thier necklaces, and Twilight`s crown, started to glow. Soon a rainbow spectra blast was shot at Bardock. He could feel the power coursing through his spine, then he felt it. His tail was growing back. When the magic faded Bardock stood there arms crosed and tail flicking about. He wrapped it around his waist and walked towards the group. "Thanks." he said with a small smile. The elements of harmony gathered around him and gave him a hug. "Alright, enough sentimental crap." he said. *Ponyville* After all the excitement in Canterlot, the mane six with thier new friend had one left thing to solve. "So where`s he gunna stay?" Applejack asked the grop. "He can stay with me, um only if he wants to." Fluttershy offered. "If you think you can handle a Saiyan." Bardock answered. "Ill take that as a yes." Fluttershy said, "Its getting late Ill see you girls tomarrow." Fluttershy said her goodbyes and Bardock just did a simple wave at the rest of the group. Time passed and they finally reached Fluttershys cottage. Right before she opened the door she asked Bardock, "So what do you eat?"
