One beautiful sunny day, where the birds were singing, neighbors are being friendly to one another,
and Vinyl and her mother walking in the park. Vinyl Scratch was getting tired out, so her and her mother sat
down on a old bench, where the paint on the bars were scratched, and the wood that was being held with
the bars were old, but they were pretty sterdy. While as Vinyl and her mother whose named Cerulean Blue
sat down, they both were giggling about a joke Vinyl said earlier.
"Mommy, I was wondering.. when will we go back home to paint?" Vinyl said eagerly.
"Soon, dear. Lets just enjoy our time here in the park" Cerulean Blue said with a smile, moving a part of
Vinyl's mane out of her face to see Vinyl's glowing smile better.
Cerulean and her excited daughter trotted along back home, well.. not necessarily trotting. Vinyl ran fast as she can without stopping to get home.
"Wait for me, honey!" Cerulean said in a firm, loud voice.
Vinyl was laughing while she was running. Cerulean was starting to have a scared look on her face. Vinyl kept on running, and running non-stop. Vinyl ran throughout the traffic where ponies were given rides by chariots. Cerulean started to run faster-- to stop Vinyl from getting ran over from one. Vinyl without any caution or warning, stopped, and stood in shock right in front of a chariot, rapidly her mother pushed her out of the way, and allowed the chariot to run over her instead.
Everypony were gasping in shock seeing a innocent pony getting ran over. Hoof prints from the ponies who were guiding the chariot were stamped all over Cerulean, they looked in shock at the light grey pony who was bleeding to death on the ground.
"Mommy!" Vinyl cried out.
"Vinyl.. Vinyl.." Cerulean whispered, trying to talk to her daughter before her time officially comes.
"Vinyl.."
"VINYL! WAKE UP!" Octavia shouted.
Vinyl Scratch woke up startled "WHOA! Calm down! I'm up, geez..."
Octavia noticed Vinyl had some tears in her eyes.
"Vinyl.. ar-are you crying? Oh I'm sorry.. I didn't know I scared you that much.."
"You didn't scare me I-I just had a bad dream.." Vinyl's face turned red from embarrassment.
"Mm hmm.." Octavia said with a smirk on her face, "Well, since you're up and ready to go, will you like to
help me with the dishes?"
"Su-
"Vinyl, no wubs" Octavia said with a serious face.
"No wubs means no clean dishes" Vinyl smiled.
"Fine.. but it better not be too damn high!" Octavia complained.
While as Octavia walked out of Vinyl's bedroom, Vinyl opened one of the drawers from her dresser. She used her magic to levitate a necklace that her mother had ever since she was just a little filly-- it was a golden locket that was shaped as a heart. Inside of it you see Vinyl and her mother snuggling. In the locket, there was also a very small folded up note, Vinyl opened the note and then it said,
"No matter where you're at,
No matter where you're from,
You always be my little white angel from above,
I'll always be by your side giving you lots of love,
Your just like a vinyl record, this is what you mean to me,
You scratch harder then a vinyl needle off my list of what I think life should be.

Cerulean Blue"
A few teardrops fell from the white pony's eyes, for a second she felt like bursting into tears-- but she managed to keep it on the low. Vinyl Scratch put on her glasses to hide her magenta, teared up eyes, then she walked over to the kitchen to do the dishes. Vinyl was buried pretty deep inside of guilt and sadness. She continued washing the dishes while Octavia yet again is annoyed by her wubs.
