The Power Of Friendship
There was a planet, called Earth. It was bathed in a pure ray known as light! Everyone loved the light, but one day, a group of people who wanted the light wanted it be transformed into darkness. The humans tried reasoning, and then, there was an argument which led to fighting... Soon the world had started a war know as Light vs. Darkness... The war lasted for 100 years. In that time a mother gave birth to a child in year eighty three the boy was named Nicholas, and he was in the war by the time he was 10...
He finished the war by the time he was 17, but then it hit him no one was left in the world. He looked back at his mother who was being bathed in a puddle of blood. He was devastated by her death! To prevent more pain, this young boy had left the world looking for more humans. In the dark matter he saw a fragment of light, so he sped up to see what it was.
In the world of Equestria, there were six girls and a princess watching a meteor shower. When suddenly, "Look out!" cried one of the girls. A meteor was coming their way and crashed right behind them. The smoke cleared showing a boy with black hair and a sword. He was rather tall, but he looked unconscious, so they took him to a castle where he finally woke up. This is a story about a boy who goes on an adventure, who finds, love, sadness, anger, and death along the way.
“Unnngggh… Hmm? W-where am I?” I questioned, as I scanned the room which seemed to be rather regal. A man who looked like a guard walked up to me and said, “You are in Equestria. You shot out of the sky and our Princess, Celestia, had taken you in for recovery.” “Recovery?” I asked in a puzzled state.
I saw my body was wounded. I saw my sword in a corner. Then I went into shock and confusion and darted out of the room with my sword. Soon I bumped into a rather beautiful woman who was wearing a crown. “Princess...?” I muttered “I see you have awakened, young warrior Nicholas,” She said in a rather soothing way “You know my name?” I said, baffled. She stated, “Of course, I have the ability to know people’s names when I first see them.” “Oh, I see… w-well I gotta run” I darted out of the castle with no sense of direction, but yet exploring the area. I came across a town named “Sky Ville” I wandered in there to see what was going on and then six cute girls walked up to me and said, “Hello there,” all in unison. One girl walked up to me and said “Hi, I’m Tina. This is Grace, Christy, Marie, Courtney, and Diane. We saw you crash into our world and we took you into our home but our princess insisted that she’d take care of you!” “That’s… n-nice,” I grumbled. But then it hit me. They were all humans! I haven’t seen any humans in months… I felt relieved! But what confused me, was how I got here in the first place. Thinking of it gave me a huge headache causing me to shriek in pain! The six girls looked at me and asked if I was okay. I then passed out…
Chapter One: The “Outside”
“He’s awakening!” said a familiar voice. My head felt foggy and yet I couldn’t remember what had happened. One of the girls who seemed hyper and if I’m not mistaken, her name was Diane. She ran up to me and said, “You are not from here. How did you get here?” Then it struck me, like a brick being hurled at someone’s face, I soon explained, “I was in a hundred year war with my world Light vs. Darkness. I was born in the eighty third year of the war. I ended it, but to my surprise, my mom was in a pool of blood. With her last breath she said, “Go… find some... Humans. We the people of light must go on in living!” Then she died in my arms… To make things better, I headed out into the universe searching planet by planet. However, as soon I was about to give up, I saw an orb of light. I followed it which led me to here I guess.” Some of the girls cried. The princess however was confused about my story. She asked, “Is there another you?” I replied “No why?” the princess stated that another young boy who looked like me with yellow eyes and red hair had been causing trouble around there. I thought to myself, and then I exclaimed, “I think he is my dark memory and dark side. That explains the dark figure that called itself Oni!” Oni was a dark side of Nico. He was the inner demon and would stop at nothing to destroy any world! He was created when Nico focused on trying to remove his negative feeling and it was gone. But what he did not know was that it had manifested itself into a dark human that wanted to possess him. Can Nico overcome this ordeal or will he succumb to his dark side? “Open this door…NOW! Scolded a very rude voice that was close to sounding like Nico’s! Could it be…? Oni?
Chapter 2: Enter Oni!
I collected my sword, and readied myself for any surprise. The door busted open, but no one was there. I lowered my guard. However, a dark figure loomed over me and swiped my back with a sharp object. I fell to the floor, but quickly got up. To my surprise it was Oni, standing with an evil smirk. With an angry glare, I charged at him! Then sparks flew out of our swords The battle clashed and we fought for what seemed like five hours, which worried me because I was growing tired. So with a ray of light, I sliced him in half! I thought I won, but he had reattached himself and ran off, into the Everfree forest. He left a note saying, “Nico, as you read this, I am now in the Everfree forest. When you harness the power of light and friendship, meet me in the clearing and I will show you the raw power of darkness. Yours truly, Oni.”
Oni fought Nico but lost and ran off leaving a note telling Nico to handle the light, and friendship level within him, and once finished he could face him in what sounded like a demon form. Will Nico accept this challenge? Or will he go to him immediately?
Chapter Three: Test One through Three.
Nico accepted the challenge but there were six tests he must complete to harness light and friendship. Test one: He must master the art of magic, so he went to Tina who was a huge bookworm. He asked her for books on magic spells, specifically, offensive magic. He trained for three weeks learning helpful spells like Time Splicer, Salvation, Multi Vortex, and Absolute-Zero. He returned the books and learned his first lesson. Then he went to an apple farm, where he met Courtney. He needed to learn how to be honest, so he went and gave honest opinions around the village, making those around him either happy or more motivated. Lesson two was done. Then, he went to a forest-like cottage and met Christy. She was rather quiet, but very cute. With her help, I learned to be kind to animals. If i was ever in trouble, and needed help from the forest creatures, he could call on them. While he finished the lesson, Nico felt very attracted to Christy. So he took her to his favorite hill and watched the sunset. After a few weeks of watching the sun set Nico asked her to be his lover, which she agreed to! Overjoyed, Nico hugged the quiet girl and walked her home. As it was night time, Nico strolled down the walk way to his home when suddenly he was confronted by Oni! Oni warned him saying that he had a month to learn the last three lessons or else! Then he vanished. Afraid Nico turned in for the night. With three lessons to go, will Nico learn the last three lessons or not? We’ll see
Chapter Four: Lesson Four through Six.
Nico woke up the next day and headed to Grace’s house. He needed to learn the lesson of generosity, so he had to make deliveries of gems He noticed there were twenty extra gems out of one hundred, so he delivered them to the five customers. With only twenty gems remaining, he needed to know how to split them. He delivered five to four customers, and apologized to the fifth customer and promised him the extra by the end of today, which he fulfilled! Next lesson was to be happy even in one’s darkest hour: He went to a scary, abandoned house filled with ghosts. So he laughed at them and they all disappeared! He learned a good lesson that time now the final one, being loyal. He went to see Marie and was put through a rough situation. They were hanging on a cliff and Marie was falling with another girl. Confused, Nico grabbed them both and launched them up to safety, where he had teleported himself back on the cliff. It happened that he learned all six lessons, and ran to confront Oni, not knowing what dangers would await him. Will Nico see light or will there be death upon them?
Chapter Five: The Death of….
Nico had seen Oni waiting for him there at the Everfree forest entrance. Without any hesitation, Nico attempted to slice him again, but he blocked it, using magic. Nico used Time Splicer to stop Oni’s movements and landed harsh hits on him. Oni grew weak as Nico cut him! Enraged, Oni let out a wave of darkness which engulfed Nico, causing him to grow very weak, unable to move. Nico tried to grab his sword, but Oni broke it with a slash! Nico then felt a sharp pain in his chest. He was stabbed in the heart. Soon, Nico saw darkness shroud his eyes and started to feel lifeless. In his mind he said, “Is this what death feels like? Having darkness surround you? I’ll never see the light again… my friends, Christy, I let you all down all because I was foolish. I’m… sorry…for-.” Then he cried his last breath. With a tear running down his cheek, he was gone forever… What will happen now? We shall see!
Chapter Six: The King of Darkness.
Realizing what he had done, Oni jumped for joy. Soon he would stop and tell the six girls and the princess. “I knew I would win! As your new leader, I command you all to work for me, a true world of darkness start with your only hope, Nico’s demise.” Not wanting to accept their fate, the seven ladies got ready in a battle position. But Oni, again, used a wave of darkness to hurt them all. Quickly they all gave up. Oni grabbed Nico’s dead body and said “You see this? This is a person who can’t save you, or your pathetic kingdom. As a token of my new empire, this idiot, Nico, will be banished to the ‘outside’ from where He once came, including you seven. Be gone, NOW!” In a flash of darkness, the seven ladies were rocketed into outer space, never to be seen again. Oni started to work on his empire, which was finished in ten months. He ruled happily, making those around him miserable, and scared. Meanwhile in outer space, they seven girls woke up to see Nico’s dead body holding the princesses’ hand. This struck the princess, and she had an idea! She would manifest herself into a sword of light and lend her heart to Nico’s body so they can be transported back to Equestria! Will the plan work or will they be stuck in the dark matter forever? These questions will be answered in our final chapter!
Chapter Seven: The Return of Nico and Light!
After some concentration, Princess Celestia’s plan worked, Nico was awake! With a flash of light, Nico transported the six girls back to Equestria. The skies were pitch black, when suddenly, a fragment of light appeared, and zoomed towards a dark castle. Oni was caught off guard since it was a surprise to see Nico alive after what had happened. Oni stated, “Hmph, I killed you once, I can do it again!” Oni darted towards the living boy. Then soon the battle began! Sounds of swords clashing together were emitted through the halls of the castle. Oni was getting angry about how well Nico was doing; Oni unleashed a wave of darkness! Cringing in fear, the six girls were scared to see what would happen next. After the dark mass had disappeared, they were joyful, seeing that Nico pierced the heart of the all mighty dark lord, Oni! “N-no… how can this be! Beaten by this boy?” Oni cried. With his death, Oni was tuned into a rock, soon to crumble into a hundred little pieces. The dark sky was returning to normal. Nico’s heart was fully repaired thanks to the princess and the power of his friends. Nico was his true self again, and started to work on rebuilding the whole kingdom. After the Kingdom was built, Equestria knew only peace from now on. Well, there was a little bit of excitement, but it was nothing Nico couldn’t handle. Thus ends our story about a boy, who overcame darkness, with the help of friendship!
