Twilight Sparkle and the Marey Sue

Twilight Sparkle sat on her bed and started to read a book about teaching. She heard a knock on the door. Her ears perked up with curiosity.

"Now who could that be?" Twilight Sparkle asked herself. She opened the door. Princess Celestia was standing behind the door smiling.

"Today's the day, Princess Twilight." Princess Celestia said.

"The day for what?" Twilight Sparkle asked.

"The day you get your first student." Princess Celestia said. Twilight Sparkle's purple eyes widened.

"Really? I get my very own student?" Twilight Sparkle said hardly containing her excitement.

"Yes. She's Prince Blueblood's younger sister, Infinity." Princess Celestia said.

"This is wonderful! Is she friendly? Is she smart? What if she doesn't like me? Does my mane look okay?" Twilight Sparkle said nervously. She looked at herself in the mirror to make sure she looked professional.

"Relax, Twilight. I'm sure you two will get along just fine." Princess Celestia said.

"Where is she?" Twilight asked.

"She's downstairs." Princess Celestia said.

Twilight Sparkle galloped down the stairs with a huge grin on her face.

"Did I pass?" The beautiful alicorn asked modestly. She had a stunning light lavender coat and a long flowing wavy pink and blue mane. She had a perfectly dainty figure and bright cyan eyes hooded with long eyelashes. Her cutie mark was of a pink heart with an infinity sign on it. She smiled revealing her shiny white teeth.

"Yes. You got a perfect score." Princess Celestia said. Twilight Sparkle stared at the gorgeous alicorn in awe. Twilight's frumpy appearance was no match for the alicorn's perfect features. She got three wrong in the acceptance test and she studied for it for over three weeks.

"I'm impressed. You must have been studying for a long time." Twilight Sparkle said.

"Just over the weekend." Infinity said.

"Isn't she pretty? My name's Spike." Spike cooed.

"I'm Umbra Infinity Heart. But you could just call me Infinity." She said in her perfect gentle voice.

"What a lovely name." Spike said wiping the drool from his chin.

"Thank you." Infinity says politely.

"We should get started on some spells," Twilight said pushing Spike out of the way with her lavander wing. " Let's start by turning an apple into an orange." Twilight said.

"I already taught myself that spell." Infinity said.

"That spell took Twilight weeks to learn." Spike said. Twilight put her hoof over his mouth.

"How about we try to give Spike a mustache." Twilight said performing the spell. Spike struck a pose and rubbed his new facial hair with his law.

"I never used that spell before, but I'll give it a try." She said. Her horn glowed and a mustache appeared on Spike's face.

"Very good." Twilight said. Infinity's cyan eyes turn pink. "What happened to your eyes?" Twilight asked.

"They change color based off of what mood I'm in." Umbra Infinity Heart said. Twilight didn't know where to start teaching her because she knew how to do more spells than she could.

"Maybe you could learn about friendship. You could meet some of my friends." Twilight said.

"Can I come too?" Spike begged.

"Okay, Spike. Hop on." Twilight Sparkle said. Spike climbed on Infinity's back instead of Twilight's. He seemed to be more enthralled by her than he was with Sparkle guided her student out of the library. Rainbowdash was waiting outside to ask for the new Daring Do book.

"Hey, Twilight. I was just looking for you." She said.

"This is my new student, Infinity. I want to really wow her but nothing seems to impress her just yet." Twilight Sparkle said lowering her head in shame. Rainbowdash shook Infinity's hoof and greeted her.

"I've never seen you before. Where are you from?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I'm from Canterlot." Umbra Infinity Heart said.

"How about I show you a Sonic Rainboom!" Rainbow Dash said.

"I'd love to see one." Umbra Infinity Star said. Rainbowdash soared into the air, broke the sound barrier, and made a Sonic Rainboom. Her eyes light up with excitement.

"That was so great. Could I give it a try?" She asked.

"Yeah, sure. Whatever. Maybe someday you'll get to be as good of a flyer as me. All you need is a little practice." Rainbowdash said between her heavy panting. Infinity flapped her strong feathery wings and took off into the sky. Once her hooves came off the grass her feathery wings turned into dazzling yellow butterfly wings. She made an even bigger and brighter Sonic Rainboom than Rainbowdash. She even made hers shaped like a heart. Rainbowdash's jaw drops. She couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing. Somepony else did a Sonic Rainboom on their first try. Overwhelmed with envy, Rainbowdash stomps her hoof on the ground.

"Beginners luck." Rainbowdash grumbled. Suddenly, the WonderBolts dropped out of the sky.

"Hey, Rainbowdash. I see you're getting better at that Sonic Rainboom." Spitfire said.

"That wasn't Rainbowdash. That was Infinity." Spike said.

"How would you like to join the Wonderbolts?" Soarin said. He had never seen such a beautiful mare before in his life. She made Princess Celestia look like an ugly changeling. He put a wonderbolt uniform on her. It looked absolutely stunning in it. "This was supposed to be for Rainbowdash so it might be a little loose." Rainbowdash was in the Wonderbolt Acadamy for over a month and they still haven't given her her very own uniform yet. Rainbowdash glared at the pretty alicorn.

"That would be wonderful. I'll have to ask my parents first." She said.

"We'd love to have you on the team." Soarin said dissapearing into a sea of clouds along with Spitfire.

"Maybe we should go to Sweet Apple Acres to see how Applejack is doing." Twilight said. The three ponies flew over to Sweet Apple Acres. As soon as Big Mac laid eyes on Umbra Infinity Heart he fell in love with her just like all the others. He swallowed a lump in his throat and hid behind the barn. Applejack kicked a massive apple tree as hard as she could. Not a single apple fell from the branches.

" Do you need some help?" Infinity asked in her soothing voice.

"Yall can try. The apples ain't gunna come down from that tree." Applejack said. Infinity kicked the tree and then all the apples plummeted out of the tree like rain.

"Show off." Rainbowdash muttered to herself bitterly.

"Thank ya kindly." Applejack said.

"She's my new student, Infinity." Twilight said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Applejack." Infinity said sweetly.

" Have any of ya seen Big Mac around here. Ah could have sworn he was out on the field moving the plow." Applejack said picking up the apples and putting them into the basket. Big Mac gave Infinity a buquet of red roses and then ran back behind the barn. Spike folded his arms and pouted. Then he pulled a jewel out of Twilight's saddlebag and handed it to her.

"Thank you Spike. I wish Big Mac didn't run away so fast. I want to thank him too. I wish he wasn't so shy." Infinity said. Her eyes turned a deep blue color.

"Speaking of shy, we should give Fluttershy a visit." Twilight said. Twilight took Applejack, Rainbowdash, Spike, and Infinity to Fluttershy's cottage. Fluttershy peeked through her front door. The paint was scratched off the door and the wall paper was torn off the walls.

"H-hello?" Fluttershy said softly.

"Fluttershy, would you like to meet my first student?" Twilight asked.

"I'm a little busy. I'm trying to help Rarity give Opal a bath. She just won't go into the tub. I used the stare on her and everything." Fluttershy replied.

"Do you need help?" Infinity asked.

"Yes, please." Fluttershy said. Infinity walked into the cottage. Rarity and Fluttershy were covered in claw marks from their heads to their hooves. Fluttershy tried to coax the white cat into the bathtub. Opal arched her back, bristled her fur, and let out a loud his. Then she tried to scratch Fluttershy again. The cat sniffed Infinity. She smelled like flowers. Fluttershy and Rarity gasped.

"Hello, little kitty." Infinity said. The cat rubbed up against her legs and purred affectionately. "Come on. Let's get in the tub." She said picking up Opal and putting her in the bathtub.

"What the hay?" Rainbowdash asked. The animals gathered around Infinity. They all seemed to be very fond of her, even Angel.

"Look how clean ya look." Applejack said to the cat. The cat glared at Applejack and shook the water off of her fur. Her puffy white coat made her look like a cotton ball.

"You sure do have a way with animals." Fluttershy said.

" Is there anything else I could do for you?" Infinity asked.

"Opal ripped up my new dress. Do you think you could help me fix it?" Rarity asked levitating the torn fabrics.

"Sure." She replied. She put a spell on the fabric to make an even nicer dress than all of Rarity's dresses combined. The fabric was perfectly stitched.

" That looks marvelous, darling." Rarity said.

"There ain't nothin this mare can't do." Applejack said.

" I know, right!" Spike said swooning over Umbra Infinity Heart.

"Now let's go to the Sugar Cube Corner to see Pinkie Pie." Twilight Sparkle said.

"If she's better at throwing parties than Pinkie, I'll spit." Rainbowdash said.

They trotted over to Sugar Cube Corner to get a bite to eat. Mr. Cake stood at the register making goo goo eyes at Infinity.

"May I help you, Sugar Pie?" He asked.

"Is he talking to me?" Infinity asked. She was flattered, but he was much too old for her.

"Yes, you. Would you like to go out on a date? I mean... Would you like something to eat, Sweet Cheeks?" He asked moving his eyebrows up and down seductively. Mrs. Cake galloped down the stairs fuming with anger.

"Just what do you think you're doing with mu husband? Get out! GET OUT!" Mrs. Cake shouted as she pushed everypony out the door. The door slammed loudly in their faces.

"I should probably get going now." Infinity said. Her eyes turned silver in fright.

"Good idea." Twilight said. As Infinity walked away all of Fluttershy's animals followed her.

"They seem to want to go home with her." Rarity said.

"What? After all I've done for you?" Fluttershy asked. Fluttershy's heart was broken.

"It's okay. You still got us. Who needs a bunch of stupid animals! Ponies are loyal." Rainbowdash said.

" Ah'm sure ya can still visit them." Applejack said.

" See you later." Spike said.

Two Days Later

Twilight and her friends met each other privately at Sweet Apple Acres. "Is anypony else getting suspicious of Infinity?" Twilight said.

"What do ya mean, Twilight?" Applejack said.

"She acts like she's got the Cutie Pox." Rainbowdash said.

"Who is Infinity?" Pinkie Pie asked in a gloomy voice.

"She's this new mare in town. She has all of our special talents. Only she could do them all betta." Rarity said.

"Ever since she came along, Big Mac started daydreamin' and not gettin' any work done." Applejack said.

"The Wonderbolts don't even notice me." Rainbow Dash complained.

"I don't even know what to teach her. She knows more than I do." Twilight said.

"Everypony wants me to make them the design she made. I don't know how she made it look so nice. I have to make seven of them just like it." Rarity whined.

"I have to go home to an empty cottage every day. I miss my animals so much." Fluttershy sniffled. Her poofy pink mane was dull and as straight as a pin.

" You've been quet lately, Pinkie. Is there something wrong?" Twilight Sparkle asked.

" Yes. Mr. and Mrs. Cake are getting divorced. I don't know which one I want to stay with." Pinkie Pie cried.

"Why did they divorce?" Applejack asked.

"Mrs. Cake saw Mr. Cake flirting with another mare." Pinkie sobbed.

"I'm sure they'll work things out." Rarity said.

"They won't stop fighting. They can't work together to make all of the delicious snacks. They all taste awful." Pinkie said wiping the tears out of her blue eyes with her hoof. She didn't want to hurt either of their feelings.

"I'm going to teach her a lesson!" Rainbowdash said.

"What are you going to do to her?" Fluttershy asked.

"I put Poison Joke pollen on her blanket." Rainbowdash snickered.

"That wasn't a very nice thing to do. Her parents died when she was very young and she lives with her abusive aunt." Rarity said.

"How do you know?" Twilight said.

"Prince Blueblood told me about his childhood." Rarity said. Rainbowdash started feeling guilty for playing the prank on Umbra Infinity Heart.

"There you all are," Infinity said emerging from the apple trees. She was unaffected by the Poison Joke. She was too powerful to be poisoned. "I've been looking all over for you."

"Why didn't it work?" Rainbowdash whispered.

"What work?" She asked.

"Twilight's magic trick." Rarity lied.

"What's the matter with Pinkie Pie?" Infinity asked. She automatically knew who she was because of her appearance.

" She ain't havin' a good day." Applejack replied.

Suddenly, an invisible force ripped Infinity to pieces. The pieces disappeared into thin air. " What just happened?" Twilight Sparkle asked.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders stormed out of the tree house with pouts on their faces. "What's the matter, Sugarcubes?" Applejack asked.

" We were tryin' to get our cutie marks in story writin' so we borrowed Twilight's magic notebook to make our character real. Then Diamond Tiara and Silverspoon ripped up our story and called us Blank Flanks." Apple Bloom said lowering her bottom lip.

" I really need to hide that book someplace else." Twilight said erasing everypony's memory of Umbra Infinity Heart with her magic. The animals came back to Fluttershy, the Wonderbolts spent more time with Rainbow Dash, Rarity got more dress purchases, Big Mac got his work done, and Mr. and Mrs. Cake got back together. From that moment on, everypony lived happily ever after.
