A short time ago and a very long ways away, far removed from world we know, a strange child is born. All but one see her as a portent of evil, a return to some dark time now remembered only in myth. Her sister, still a child, struggles to understand the hatred for the young pony and to save her young sibling from harm. But it will not end well, for theirs are lives are of tragedy and fear.
