So how did this all start, exactly?
Winding up here, laying atop a horribly uncomfortable motel bed, in a room that smells like swear and depression? Well to be honest, its really not as bad as it sounds. Minus that part about the smell, of course.
It started when my friend Scooter bought up some tickets to the Wonderbolt show, and of course he was psyched out of his bloody mind, I mean, who wouldn't be? I laid a few hints out there I was interested in going, but of course he decided to take his girlfriend.

The first thing that hit me about the stadium was obviously the sound, shortly followed by the lights. The sound was as if you were standing underneath a waterfall, being pelted from all sides by a rupturing sound. I finally got myself focused after about the fifth time Scooter had to yell at me to stay focused, guiding me to our seats, for me having no prior knowledge of the stadium. I hear the quiet sound of a snicker, followed by a clever smirk. "Oh, you've obviously never been to a Wonderbolts show, my friend. Each show is always better than the last! Can't complain about the views you get of that captain either, pretty nice ass there."

Suddenly loud booms go off, making my heart lurch a little, as fireworks high above us (brilliant combinations of blues, greens, and reds) signal the beginning of the show. Finding my angle not completely satisfactory, I sit up a little, just in time to catch a view of the six essential Wonderbolts come bursting up from below the stadium. They have little wooden plane like contraptions tied around them, connected at the waist and chest, with a handle meant for steering ahead. A small engine was placed in the back, which powered little jets under each wing to propel the plane forward. Followed a a trail of built up steam, they spiral around each other, quickly making their way high above all the ponies in the stands. They stop for a few seconds, then flip over upside down to face us, and begin a rapid descent down.
Their tricks continue, one after another, each one perfectly executed with precise movement and synchronization, making me more and more impressed by the second, until I can hardly keep my excitement in my seat. In fact, I didn't, toppling forward a row about halfway through the show, accidentally misplacing my weight. I collapse onto the large man ahead of me, forcing his head into a forward lurch directly into his bag of buttered popcorn.
In a shortened way of putting it, I was quickly escorted out of the stadium.
I solemnly made my way out the stadium doors, gathering more than a few dirty looks from people along the way, and found myself in the rain outside.
