Many hundreds of generations after the Original Mane Six, the sacred Elements of Harmony were destroyed by a mysterious enemy, and a threat was made against all of Equestria itself, and the country was launched into a new era of darkness. Yet, when things didn't seem it could get worse, one of the two young princesses of Canterlot disappeared, the blame was shot towards me, her sister, Midnight. Unlike those princesses before me, I have not gained my cutie mark yet. Some think that I'll never earn it; others think it might be because I haven't discovered my destiny yet, a handful of which believe that ahead of me is a fate that could save Equestria itself.
