I even now remember our first kiss,
It was a mistake, a kiss of breath,
To a pony you thought of as dead,
I was on the shore that runs through this town,
Swimming I had been,

Your almost alike, so close to being similar,
Except you need to dye your hair,
But you are so similar, you all love girls,
One of each of you is sweet and one of you is down to the ground,
But these personalities fit together as I've said,
You love each other, the apples and butterflies,
The peaches and cream, you sound like food,
But although one is written by a guy the other by people,
Doesn't mean its not real what you feel,
You exist where others do not treed,
So you can lay in each others arms,

Thats the name of the game,
So smile and say yay, this is valentines,
The day of couples, and whats more sweet then peaches and cream,
Or what has more beauty then the apples with butterflies,

On the edge of town,
There lies a pony,

What it is I can not say,

When I first met you,
You were staring at where the fields met the hay,
You said you were staring at the sea,
You were the pony I met when I came to ponyville,
I was intrapped by your eyes,those golden eyes, those golden orbs
they didn't know whether to come or go,
And then you told me your story,
Of a colt,
How he had saved your life,
Of the filly you had with him,
Of how he had died saving time,
I was intrigued,
Would you, could you love a mare,
And so I stayed around in that little town,
I met your filly, so strange that your union had brought you a unicorn,
But she was your muffin and you couldn't care had she being a griffin,
And so I stayed,
And took my mail from you everyday,
I grew to wish for you in my dreams,
So please Derpy,
Come to me, let me hold you,
Let us raise that filly that you have,
So please come to love this mare,
So she can heal these wounds you have,
So please come to me,
My Derpy Hooves.

Yet we bow to your brother who lights our days and burns our souls,

There's so much noise,
So many ponies dancing and jumping,
I don't know if I can take this,
But this is a celebration,
We just got in, we get to play at the gala,
So I should be happy that we're here,

Or has that reduced to nil,

She who waits from behind rocks in weight,

You catch up to me, we're outside of town,
You slam me to the ground,
'Why, what is wrong' you ask so quick,
I say 'You already know, I see that love in your eyes',
'There is love only in my eyes for you' you scream,
Your eyes are watering me, drowning me,
'No, there is new. I see the way you look at that mare, you have left me for someone like you',
'I am not blind I see that cutie mark, that cleft that adorns her flank, is that why you left me?'
My rant subsided, My heart is full,
Tell me it's true, tell me that what I know is true,
Do not torture me with half truths and lies,
'Tell me!' the words escape my lips too quick to be back,
'What?' you ask 'She is my sister, There is love because she is family',
The truth hurts, I see my wrong doing as my breath escapes,
'What, she is your sister, but you look nothing alike' I say trying to escape my folly,
'Let us not talk of my mother infidelity' you say as my lips met yours,
I am relived, I still taste me on your tongue,
My tears are released as we kiss, our lips wetting on our breath,
We brake our embrace it is time I met her sister,
This mare, who has so many secrets,
Takes me back so quick,
I wonders what horrors lurk in her past to do this,
But thus this neither the time or place for such question,
We love each other that's all that matters,
But I do wonder are you to good for one such as me,
Has my mind taken me to a place I cannot escape,
Will you be soon hurt by me, by my control,
Will this love survive me, who may have lost her way,
Only time will tell, these tales of loss or of love.
