Aidan's Story (Pinkie's Demise)

I woke up from my old hard mattress in a small apartment building just west of Ponyville, Equestria's smallest and least important town. I got up to do the same thing I do everyday. Eat, work, eat again, do more work and then sleep. The ordinary rotine of an ordinary day, but that rotine would be messed up that day, because I was going to go see my sister, Pinkamena Diane Pie. I haven't seen her since we worked at the rock farm ran by Dad, but I had gotten a letter 2 days before that day. It was from Mom and Dad, they said it was time to stop sulking and see my sister. So I moved from where I was, to Ponyville. They told me that if we reunited, that it would help Pinkamena get over our sister... dying. But I knew what they were up to, I knew that it wasn't Pinkamena they were worried about, it was me. I used to be like Pinkamena in alot of ways. I was happy and joyful, I had a good job. I had a pretty good life, but then, she died. It was a shock to all of us, we thought her cancer was going away, but then it came back and... killed her. When she died, I just left everything. My job, my happiness, my life. But, with Pinkamena's new friends and new joy, we did not tell her. She does not know yet, so they sent me to tell her. All of this crossed my mind as I was getting ready for today. I walked out the door of my small apartment to head to Ponyville, to where Sugar Cube Corner was, to where Pinkie was. I walked and I walked, for what seemed like forever, then I finally came upon it, "Sugar Cube Corner", said the big sign in front. I took a deep breath, then I opened the door.
