After the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle gets caught up in a plot to kill the Princess of the Night. Forced by Ponies she once trusted into a seemingly impossible task, Twilight has only Spike and a changeling to rely on and finds herself surrounded by ponies and other creatures that all seem to have their own agenda to fulfill.
