Applejack's night out

It was a dark starry night in Ponyville, hooves trotted through the streets, and voices and cheers echoed throughout the small town. Applejack was on her way to a party at Sugarcube Corner with her friends, she was bringing apples for making cider. As she trotted along the stone path to her destination she couldn't help the feeling that she was being followed, but she ignored it and moved on. She was at the entrance to the Sugarcube Corner now, she knocked on the door with her hooves a few times and was greeted with a hyperactive pink pony, "Applejack! Come on inside! We got games! And cake! And Balloons! Ohhhhh!!! And the cupcakes!!!" She then shoved a big frosting covered cupcake in her mouth. Applejack choked on the cupcake but managed to swallow it, "Ah, thanks Pinky Pie! Howdy yall!" "Applejack!" All of the ponies yelled simultaneously.

The ponies played games and told jokes, just had fun. It was midnight now and the ponies were going home. "C'ya tomorrow, everypony!" All of the ponies cleared out and began walking home. Applejack started her way home trotting along the same path, the presence of somepony this time was much greater, as she walked she heard footsteps behind her but never saw anypony there. She was by the farm now, but by the gate entrance, there sat a pony. He was masked, dark, "Umm, what're ya doin?" Silence. He didn't move, she couldn't tell his identity from his dark concealed outfit, but she already felt uncomfortable. She was certain that this was the stalker pony. She quickly trotted past, running now to her house. As she ran, she tripped over an unknown object. When she looked up... She was face to face with the mysterious pony.
