Pinkie Pie lived a tough childhood. That much is known. Living on a rock farm is not easy, and neither was the pain she felt there. After she left, she concealed this pain with a fake smile and "how do you do?" attitude. But not with horrible murders of beloved friends being found around the town, the pain is returning to her, and she struggles to keep it at bay.

Prologue- The Eighth Year

Before this story begins, I feel a disclaimer is needed for those who have yet to deduce how this story will go. This is not a happy story, not one with love and friendship and ponies spontaneously becoming princess'. No, this story is a story of reality, of pain and concealment, of who we truly are and what makes us unique. This story may or may not end happy, for no ending has yet to be learned. The incidents in these chapters have no climax or ending as of yet, they still frighten and intimidate those willing enough to believe the rumors. The rumors of a kind, quirky little mare, and what secrets she beholds.
