Everypony has at least one event in their life which they would rather forget. It may be a cause of humiliation, shock or dismay for all those involved, but such times allow a formative experience which helps us grow into the ponies we've become today. That may be so because we discover something new within ourselves, or because we've had that one, or two, or three but probably one figure to guide us past our mistakes. If they raise the sun too, that's a bonus.
