"Quiet boy! You are a Space Marine, one of the Emperor's angels of death. What were you taught in training?"

"... I shall know no fear."

"Exactly, now finish this."

That was the Librarian in charge of the experiment, we were trying harvest massive amounts of energy from the Warp, enough energy to power every ship in our fleets for eternity, but the Warp... The Warp had other plans.

                 Ponyville, Equestria

"What are those?" Twilight said as she stared into the growing holes in the midday sky. "They seem to be growing larger, and protruding some form of energy. I'd better tell Princess Celestia." Then a loud crash occurred just behind her, she turned to see Rainbow Dash struggling to stand, her body badly injured.

"Twilight! Twilight! Come quick!"

"Rainbow Dash, what's wrong?"

"Big metal things are attacking Ponyville!" Said Rainbow Dash, panting and bruised, before falling unconscious. She'd been fighting them, trying to hold them off while the townspeople escaped, it'd worked, but she wouldn't be waking. for awhile.
