Back At Dawn's

Twilight, Trixie, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash sat on the couch in Dawn's living room. The others sat in arm chairs. No one said a word. Twilight and her friends stared at Pinkie Pie. Pinkie stared back.
"So..." said Twilight.
"Was I really that bad?" asked Pinkie.
"Are you kidding?" asked Rainbow Dash. "You--"
"No details, please." said Pinkie. "I don't want to remember a thing."
"Well, I for one am glad." said Twilight.
"Me, too." said Rarity.
"So let's get to know each other." said Fern.
"Great." said Dawn. "Because I don't know any of you."
"I'll start." said Twilight. "Hi. My name's Twilight Sparkle. My special talent is magic and I love to read."
"I'm Rarity. I have special talent of finding hidden gems and absolutely love making beautiful dresses."
"I'm Applejack. I work on my family's apple orchard and am currently tryin' to raise some money for the farm."
"I'm Rainbow Dash. I can fly really fast and enjoy a good race every now and then."
"I'm Fluttershy. I can take care of any animal and love hanging out with them."
"I'm Fern. I own a post office in Fillydelphia and I am great at making healing herbs."
"Really?" asked Twilight. "That's pretty cool."
"Thanks." said Fern.
"Well, I'm Macy. I own a clothing store in Fillydelphia and I'm great at retail."
"I'm Dawn. I'm a great painter and love picnics by the ocean. It's actually where I found Pinkamena."
"Yeah." said Pinkie. "That was lucky."
"I bet." said Rainbow Dash.
"And I'm May. I'm also a great painter. I love making new friends and I..."
May stopped talking and looked down at the floor.
"May?" asked Fern. "Something wrong?"
"She just recently lost somepony." said Dawn.
"She was my best friend." said May, not looking up. "I should have kept her home that day but she wanted to work."
"What did she do?" asked Fern.
"She delivered supplies to small businesses." said May.
"Wait." said Fern. "Was she a red unicorn?"
"Yeah." said May, looking up. "How'd you know?"
"Oh, no." said Fern, tears forming in her eyes. "I think I'm gonna be sick."
She took off towards the bathroom.
"What was that about?" asked Dawn.
"I'll go see." said May.
May got up from the chair and went to the bathroom to check on Fern. She found her vomiting in the toilet.
"Are you okay?" asked May.
"No." said Fern.
"What's wrong?" asked May.
"I thought I recognized you the moment I saw you." said Fern.
"What are you talking about?"
"Remember?" asked Fern. "You came to my store looking for Strawberry. I told you..."
"You have to go. She's dead." said May.
"I'm sorry." said Fern, crying. "I'm so sorry."
"How'd..." May cleared her throat. "How'd she die?"
"I shouldn't say." said Fern.
"Please." said May. "She was my best friend."
"Exactly."
"Please." said May. "Tell me."
"It was... Pinkamena."
May took a step back. "What?" she asked, softly.
"She made me send Strawberry to the basement where she... she... oh, God."
She threw up some more in the toilet.
"What happened?"
"She ate her."
"She..." said May.
She stumbled backwards and bumped into Pinkie. May spun around.
"You girls okay?" she asked.
"I HATE YOU!" yelled May, crying.
All the ponies stared at her.
"May..." said Pinkie. "I..." May took off, heading to her room. "What did I do?"
"Oh, Pinkie." said Twilight, softly.
"I'm gonna talk to her." said Pinkie.
"First door on the right." said Dawn.
Pinkie headed up the stairs and entered May's room. She was on her bed, crying.
"May?" asked Pinkie. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing!" cried May. "Just go!"
"Come on. Tell me."
May quickly stood up and turned to face Pinkie. "YOU ATE MY BEST FRIEND!"
"I what?" asked Pinkie.
"You ate Strawberry! Fern told me all about it. How could you?"
"May, I..." Pinkie started to cry. "I didn't--"
"You didn't mean to? You didn't know? Just go."
"May."
"GO!" yelled May.
Pinkie backed out of the room.
"What have I done?" Pinkie asked herself.
She headed back downstairs and was greeted by Fern.
"Hey." she said.
"Did I really... you know?" asked Pinkie.
"Yeah." said Fern. "Look, I'm sorry I said anything."
"No, no, no." said Pinkie. "It's best she knew who she was hanging out with. I just wish I could go back and change the past. It's like I'm already dead."
"What do you mean?" asked Fern.
"If I was as bad as you say, then I'm technically a fugitive being here. The Royal Guard must be looking for me."
"What are you gonna do?" asked Fern.
Pinkie thought for a second. "I got it."
"Great. What?"
"I'm gonna turn myself in."
"What?" asked Fern.
Pinkie walked passed her and entered the living room. Every pony looked at her.
"I'm gonna turn myself in." she said.
There was a silence. No one knew what to say. Just then Twilight spoke.
"Really?"
"Yeah." said Pinkie.
"Why?" asked Twilight.
"I figured I should just let the Royal Guard take me before I snap again. Besides, I don't deserve my freedom. Not after what I've done." She looked at Rainbow Dash. "Can you let Princess Celestia know where I am?"
"I can, but..." said Dash.
"Do it."
Dash slowly got out of her chair and headed to the front door. She opened and took off for Canterlot.
"I feel weird saying this, but..." said Rarity. "I'm going to miss you.
"The new you, anyway." said Applejack.
"Thanks girls." said Pinkie. "I'll miss you, too."
