The music faded as it comes to its end. I leaned in closer to the microphone in front of me. "That's all the time I have for everypony listening to this radio station," I said to the microphone.  "DJ PON-3 will be taking over for me." I turned to Vinyl, who's sitting beside me. I gave her a gesture, signalling her. She nodded, and then placed a headphone on her head.

She leaned in closer and took a deep breath before speaking. "Hello Ponyville!!!" she greeted through the  mic. I'm a bit surprised at her, and at the same time, amazed. She's a new disc jockey here in the radio station. Yet, she doesn't look shy or sound like one even though this is her first day.

She just moved to Ponyville last week. Rumor says that she lost her job as a DJ in Manehattan. I don't know why, and don't have any reason to know why. The only thing that had been bothering me was that how did she managed to get the job in only two days?

Before I got my job here, it took a month for them to accept me. Yet for her, only two days. Must be because of my perverted boss. "Maybe I should warn her to be careful when near her boss," I thought to myself. "But why would she even believe me. Well I guess it's her problem now. Whether she'll be careful when near my boss, or not."

I removed the headphone off of my head, and then exited the recording booth. At outside of the booth, a co-worker greeted me. "So Pico, any plans going on?" Randy asked as he removed the headphone off of his head, letting his red colored mane, sway freely.

"No..." I replied, "Why do you ask?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Come sit here next to me," he placed a chair beside him. I followed his command. I took a seat beside him. "You know the new mare, right?" he pointed Vinyl with a hoof. I watched Vinyl as she bob her head up and down through the rhythm of the music that was playing.

"Yeah," I turned to Randy, "Why do you ask?"

"Look at her again," Randy turned to Vinyl. I gave Vinyl another look. "Is it weird to you that Vinyl got accepted to this radio station in no time?"

"Well yeah, I've been wondering about that."

"I'm guessing you know why."

"What?" I exchange gazes with Randy. "What do you..." I trailed off as Randy gave me a weird grin. We both stared at each other for a few seconds before we burst out laughing. "Oh... I get it," I snickered. "So now that I know that our boss hired Vinyl because he is an old pervert, what do you want me to do?"

"I don't know, maybe warn her, protect her, keep her away from our boss." Randy rolled his eyes. "Maybe if you do all of that, she'll fall for you."

"Well, doing all that might cause me the only job I have," I gazed at Vinyl. "I wouldn't want to lose the only thing that keeps me alive." I admired Vinyl's beautiful, curvy body. "I hope our stupid boss doesn't hurt you," I said in my thoughts. "You look like a fine mare, unless if the old hag touches you." I stood up from the seat.

"Where are you going?" Randy asked. I walked towards the exit of the radio station before gazing over my shoulder.

"Since Vinyl is here to take over my position, and my shift became shorter than usual, I'm just gonna go take a walk around Ponyville." I grabbed my scarf on the hanger beside the door. "I haven't been able to explore  Ponyville due to working here for thirteen hours everyday."

"I know, and me too."

"You don't need to explore Ponyville, you got everything you need inside of your home."

"Having a wife doesn't mean you've got everything you need."

"But it does complete your day."

"Yeah, yes it does. Especially when you get to spend your whole night with her." Randy smirked.

"You're just making me jealous."

"Yes, yes I am." We both exchange angry looks in the eyes before bursting out of laughter.

"You always know how to make mad," I wiped a single tear on my right eye that had form because of laughter.

"Yeah sure, just go explore the jungle of Ponyville." Randy turned his back on me. "Maybe this must be your lucky day, and you might meet your mare."

"Yeah, sure," I tied the scarf around my neck.

I sat on a bench at the middle of the park. "Yeah, I'm exploring Ponyville alright," I said to myself. "Maybe staying at the radio station wasn't a bad idea." I let out a sigh. I scanned the surroundings in front of me. A mare struggling from carrying boxes on her back caught my attention.

I walked up to the mare. "Would you like some help miss... um?" I asked the mare. She looked at me.

"Miss Sirachi, and yes, yes I would," she replied with a smile.
