Catching Her Affection
Unexpected Confrontation
Previous ChapterUnexpected Confrontation
"Is there anypony in here!?" a voice asked.
I opened my eyes slowly as the words of the voice reached my ears. The voice echoed through my ears, disturbing the most peaceful sleep I've ever had. I looked around, seeing that I'm still in the room where Sirachi brought me. And beside me, Sirachi, who's sleeping so soundly.
"Well at least it's nice to know that I ain't having another wet dream back at the apartment," I whispered.
"Hello, is there anypony handling this store!?" the voice, coming from the other side of the door asked. I sat up from the bed. I stretched out my forelegs, letting out a yawn. I turned to Sirachi, watching her as she purred while asleep. I placed a hoof on her shoulder, trying to wake her up.
"Sirachi, there's a pony outside," I said to her in a soft tone. Sirachi turned to me, eyes half-opened. She stared at me for a few seconds before closing her eyes again. "Come on Sirachi, wake up!"
Sirachi shifted, ignoring the words I'm saying.
"Really helpful," I thought to myself. I got off from the bed, and onto the floor. The smell of our mixed sweats and juices, added by the scented candles were still in the air. I walked towards the door, leaning in and placing an ear on it.
"Um... hello!?" the voice called out again. Upon hearing it again, I immediately realized who's the pony on the other side. I quickly opened the door, stepping out of the room. The first thing I saw was a stallion with red mane and tail, and a blue coat, standing in front of the counter.
"Randy!?" my jaw hanged open.
"Ah!!!" Randy jumped out of shock, falling on the floor with a thud.
"What are you doing here!?" I quickly walked up to him, helping him to get back onto his hooves.
"You're asking me!? I should be the one asking you!" he grunted. "What are you doing here anyway?"
"Oh, um... shouldn't you be answering me first?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"I'll tell you after you tell me what the hay you are doing here."
"Okay fine, I'll tell you, sheesh," I rolled my eyes. "I was just sitting at the park, when I saw a mare struggling with a load on her back. So I helped her out, and then I ended up here. Now tell me why you are here."
"What!?" Randy gave me a confused look.
"Oh come on, do you want me to go on full detail so just you could understand me!?"
Randy nodded. I let out a sigh as I facehoofed myself.
"Okay, so I was just sitting at the park, minding my own business when suddenly, I saw a mare carrying two boxes. Being a gentlecolt myself." I saw Randy roll his eyes, "I helped the mare carry the boxes. After I helped her, she wanted to repay me, thus me ending up in this place." I took a deep breath. "Now will you please tell me why you are here?" I begged.
"So who's the mare?" Randy suddenly asked. I gave him an irritated expression. "Fine, I'm telling you why I'm here." He cleared his throat. "My shift just ended, and I was supposed to buy somethings from this store before heading home."
"What kind of things?"
"Things for me and my wife," Randy smirked.
"Oh..." I stared at him with blank expression. I shook my head, trying to forget what he just said. "Anyway, you said that your shift had just ended?"
"Yeah, it's already at eight fifteen in the night. Vinyl left earlier before I did, because somepony has check if the radio booth is in a good condition." He smiled.
"If it's already eight fifteen in the night. I must have been sleeping beside Sirachi for almost five hours." I again, facehoofed myself. "I guess I need to return back to my apartment now." I walked towards the front door of the shop. I opened the door and saw Luna's moon, shining in the night sky.
I shivered as the cold night wind went through me. I tried to tighten up the scarf a bit, while also trying to be careful not to strangle myself. I took a step outside, looking at the streets. The light posts were on, illuminating some parts of the street.
"I've never been into this part of Ponyville before," I thought to myself, "No wonder I didn't know that there's an adult store here."
I walked down through the streets of Ponyville, having no idea where's the way back to my apartment. "How stupid of me, not knowing the way back to my apartment." I said to myself. After a minute of searching, I'd still no clue were I'm at. "Come on Pico, you've been living here in Ponyville for almost your whole life. You couldn't possibly not know where you're at." I continued to walk willy-nilly, hoping to find my way back to the apartment.
"Oh Celestia, please guide me back to m-." I didn't get to finish, as I heard somepony called my name from behind. I turned around and saw Randy, with a plastic bag tied around his belly.
"Hey Pico," he called out, "What are you doing in there, I though you're about to go home?" he raised his eyebrow.
"I was lost," I walked up to him.
"How could you be lost? I mean, the shop is just right behind us." Randy glanced over his shoulder. I imitated him, and saw Sirachi's store just right behind us.
"Wow, I feel stupid," I murmured.
"Yes, yes you do." He snickered. "Just follow me, I'll show you the way," Randy walked past me. I followed him, keeping up from beside him. "So Pico, you didn't tell me who's the mare you helped..."
"Do you really have to know?"
"Of course I do," he said in a really joyful tone. I let out a sigh, and then shook my head.
"It's Sirachi."
Randy suddenly stopped. I also made a stop.
"You mean the one who owns the store?" he raised his eyebrow.
"Yes..."
"You've got to be kidding me Pico," Randy gave me a friend bump on my side.
"No, I'm not joking," I reassured.
"Yeah, of course you do." He continued walking. I followed him on his side. "I wouldn't be surprised seeing Sirachi pay somepony in that kind of way."
"Wait... you know her?"
"Of course I do."
"Since when?"
"Since she'd open up the store here in Ponyville of course."
"When did she even opened up the store?"
"Maybe a year... I guess," Randy shuddered.
"No wonder I'd never seen her here in Ponyville before." I thought to myself. I noticed that I was getting left by Randy. "Hey wait!" I quickly caught up to him. "Is there anything else you know about her?" I asked him.
"Why do you ask?" Randy turned to me, raising his eyebrow at me.
"I just want to know more about her." I gave him a sheepish smile.
"Well she's nice. A little bit too nice if you ask me," he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah... she just tried to repay me by giving me a good time." I snickered.
"So you just got laid?" Randy suddenly asked. I slowly nodded. I felt him, wrapping a foreleg around my neck. "I congratulate you dear friend," he tapped me on the shoulder. After that, he removed his leg off of me.
"Do you think I should be the one to be repaying her?"
"Well that depends on you." He suddenly stopped, also making me stop. "Well, I'm in front of my house now. You should get going. I'm sure you can go on from here now." Randy walked towards the front door of the house on our right side, leaving me at the middle of the street.
"Thanks for helping me Randy!" I said to him before continuing to walk.
"Finally back," I murmured as I got inside of my apartment room. I went to my bedroom, looking for the basket where I placed my wet bed sheet. I removed my scarf off of my neck, placing it inside of the basket. I took a towel from my cabinet, and then headed towards the bathroom.
As I got closer to the bathroom, sounds of water running down had hit my ears. "Wait... did I leave the door open earlier?" I asked myself as I slowly crept towards the bathroom. The door of the bathroom was half-opened. I heard some humming, coming out of the bathroom. I peeked inside of the bathroom, and saw a figure of a pony through the blinds of the shower booth. I slowly walked towards the shower booth, trying not to startle the intruder. As I got close enough, I quickly opened up the blinds.
"Hey Pico," Sunny greeted as she turned to me. Her mane fell straight down. Her white colored fur, all wet.
"What are you doing here?" I raised an eyebrow at Sunny.
"Sorry if I took my shower here in your room. There's no water back on my shower back inside of my room." She pouted.
"It's okay," I gave her a sheepish smile. "I guess I'll just wait for you to finish." I turned my back on her.
"Why?"
I glanced over my shoulder. "I was supposed to taking a shower right about now, but like I said, I'll wait for you to finish." I took a step away from her. I then, felt her wet hoof on my tail.
"Why don't we take a shower together?"
"W-wha-what?" I stammered.
"Oh come on, what if the water in this bathroom ran out before you could take a shower?"
"I'll take the chances." I tried to shake her hoof off of my tail. I left her alone in the bathroom.
I walked towards my bedroom, throwing myself on the bed. I took a deep breath, ending it with a long sigh. "Sometimes I ask myself, why won't I just move to another apartment?" I shifted. "Oh right, there aren't any other apartment that's close to the radio station I work to." I again, let out a sigh.
Memories from earlier started to flood my thoughts. "Sirachi said something about rooms in her store. Maybe staying in there is better than here?" I snickered. "Anyway, that's not what I should be thinking about. I should be thinking about a good way to show Sirachi my gratitude."
