Spectral took one step at a time. His legs ached so much, he began to wobble. He coudn't hold his wieght anymore, he collasped onto the cold floor of the dark ally. He was lost,confused, and wondering. He had no idea were his parents were, his family. Only a day ago he had a wonderful life, He and his family were laughing and singing, they were all smiling, but then the next day it happened, they were all gone, all of them, exept one, Spectral. Somehow Spectral had lived, but he didn't like it. "WHY COUDN'T IT HAVE BEEN ME INSTED...., WHY...!?!?!", he cried out in agony.
Tears were falling down his cheeks, making a plip plop sound when they hit the ground. He didn't bother to wipe then away like he used to, "Why...?" he whispered to hisself. His rainbow mane that would change colors because of his mood, became a solid as dark as night black.
It started to rain and he tried to take cover but there was none, so spectral layed down on the cold ground looking into the puddles. He then saw... it, he quickly hit the puddle and screamed a blood curling scream. He cried for the lost of his parents, and the lost of his family, the lost of his life, the lost of his sanity.
He was too busy crying over all his loses to notice a chestnut pony with a big blue hat walk by, the pony's face was covered by the hat and the night. As he walked by, a old antique golden pocketwatch was dropped into a puddle next to Spectral, spashing water onto Spectrals face.
Spectral looked up, and he saw the chestnut pony with the blue hat. He then looked at the old pocketwatch and picked it up, "Hey Mr, you dropped your watch!" Spectral cried out to the mysterious pony. The mysterious pony did not come back, insted he kept walking away. Spectral ran after the chestnut pony with the pocketwatch, he almost got to the other pony,but then the other pony vanished, they last thing spectral saw of the other pony was, his cutie mark, An hourglass.
Spectral decided to open the watch, it could have the name of the pony in it. Spectral carefully unclicked the watch and opened it. He then saw, Spectral carved in cursive into the golden watch, and instructions to use the watch. Spectral was confused, how had that pony known his name was Spectral.... was it just a concindence, or was it more. Spectral decided he might as well keep it if he coudn't find that strange pony. He looked at the instructions, "Hm.... this must be to fix the time." He said out loud.
Spectral pressed 0123, He didn't know what that ment, but it seemed famaliar, it reminded him of yesteryday, where his life was destroyed at 1:23 A.M. Suddenly a light was surrounding him, it first touched his hoofs and slowly raised. He screamed. Was he dying....., was he going to heaven he wondered. It slowly came up to his back, and then reached his neck. He smiled and closed his eyes as a tear went down and hit the hard pavement. He then vanished with the old pocketwatch.

Spectral is an OC of my friend, and he asked me to write a story about Spectral, this is what my friend wanted the story about, but I changed some things too it, and in the next chapter you are going to find out were Spectral is taken to. Spectral looked up, His vision was fuzzy, and he heard ringing in his ears. He quickly shaked his head to get rid of it, and it worked, mostly. He looked around and he noticed he was in a big room. He looked forward and he saw a line full of colts, and stallions, he looked behind him and there was also colts, and stallions. He looked to his left and there were fillies and mares. He looked to his right and there were fillies and mares. and on those fillies and mares were colts and stallions on there lefts and rights, and so on and on.He wondered is this heaven... are they seperating us in gender, will I see my mom, my dad, my family.
The line slowly moved up, it had been taking so long he had trained hiself to move up ever seven minutes. He was so busy thinking he didn't notice he was at the front of the line, "Next, Next... NEXT!" A voice shouted at him. "Oh.. oh sorry mam or.. uh.. sir!" He stuttered. He ran up there and saw a big red stallion with a green apple cutie mark. The big stallion stared at him and said, "You are not even gonna last one day out here, I'm sending you to General D, she will teach you how to man up!" The stallion whispered into Spectrals ear. The big stallion then spit into a can, "Get out of here, you grub!" He whispered again. Laughter roared from the colts and fillies in the lines from him calling Spectral Grub. "SLILENCE,!" The red stallion yelled. No one made a peep after that. The big stallion showed him which way General.D was. Spectral quickly tried to march over there, as the big stallion kept yelling, "MARCH, YOUR A SOULDIER!"
Spectral looked over on each door, he tried to march, but it was very hard for him. He then saw the door he wanted to go in too. He knocked on it, and a little filly and a colt answered it. He quicky walked in and they shut the door. They standed in a line, trying to stand tall, and not blink. He went over and tried to do the same, guess that they had been here longer then him. Soon the door opened, and a pony walked in.

A blond mare walked in, She looked like she could take them down, and the big stallion, about 10 or 20 times! Her eyes seemed to watch the colt, the little filly, and him at the same time. "My name is General D, and you will call me that, or say sir, but you will ALWAYS say Yes Sir or No sir, are we clear..?" She said. "Yes Sir!" they all said.
Some ponies might think she wasn't that intiminating, she had criss crossed eyes, blond hair, and bubbles on her flank, what kind of general has bubbles on their flank..? Although, when you looked into her eyes, you saw sadness,confusion,wondering, just like Spectrals exept, there was also determination in her eyes.
She then turned to Spectral, "Whats your name souldier..?" She asked. "Spectral Mam!" Spectral replyed. "Well, Well, Spectral, This is Marrie,and Kagel." She said pointing to the two foals. They looked young, mostly the filly. "Know how old are you souldier?" she asked Spectral." I'm seven mam!" I answered her again. "Permission to speak sir?" said the two foals at the same time. "Yes, you have permission to speak!" The general " I'm nine, I'll me ten in a month!" He said with a toothy grin. He had some teeth missing so it looked pretty funny. "I.. I'm... four." the little filly whispered. "Your pretty young I whispered, why are you here...?" Spectral questioned her. "Oh." she whispered, she starts to rub her her front legs with her hoof and whispered, "Well the war, they need ponies of all ages and... I came here when I was born, so.. ya..."
