In a small house on the edge of the mountain's side, there is a small house where a human teen lives. He is a simple writer, gamer, and brony.
He stands at six feet tall exactly with coal black hair and even darker eyes. He wears a grey and black checkered hoodie with a dark grey beanie covering his head and brown fingerless gloves on his hands. On his legs are a simple set of deep blue jeans. Not so special right?
He is currently sitting on his bed typing away on his laptop while listening to some fan made Brony music, to be more specific the song Discord-Tombstone remix. He closes his eyes and begins to quietly sing the lyrics before stopping and resuming his writing.
he finishes a chapter of his story before leaning back and sighing in relaxation. “Finally done.” He mumbles to himself as he leans back.
He weaves his fingers together before placing them behind his head and leaning against them with a smile on his face. Sadly, this was not meant to last long because a certain chitin layered, hole legged pony made a entrance.
“Isaac! What are you doing!?” Chrysalis yelled loud enough to go through his headphones and causing him to jump right out of his bed and land flat onto the floor. Chrysalis cackled madly as she saw the human groan and get off the ground.
“Oh fuck you too then, Chrys.” Isaac said from the floor and taking out his headphones. Chrysalis stopped laughing before picking up Isaac with her magic and dropping him onto the bed.
“You know I hate that name.” She said giving him a mock pout.
“And I hate it when you scare me like that.” Isaac retorted before sitting up right and going back to his computer. “And for your information, I am just now finishing up the latest chapter of my story.”
That is when another pony popped up. This one was dark grey with a ethereal flowing black and a red cape with white trimmings carefully clipped around his neck. “You did!? Can we read it?” Sombra asked hopping onto the other side of the bed with Isaac.
“Uuuh... I am not sure.” Isaac said lowering the screen of his laptop. “Last time I let you guys look at my story you began to get way too into it....”
“Oh come on. Don’t be such a sour puss.” A purple cloud said before it formed to show a solid black alicorn with baby blue armor covering parts of her features, such as her head, hooves, and chest. Isaac shook his head again.
“Sorry Nightmare.”He said while fully closing the computer. “Look I am glad you guys like my work, but you guys don’t really give the best advice.”
“What!? We give great advice!” Nightmare protested before Isaac gave a small glare which caused her to shift uncomfortably.
“You guys said I should have the main character die and replace him with a sadistic superhero that shoots crystal like lasers from his fingers.” Isaac deadpanned. This caused Nightmare and Chrysalis to snicker before looking to a blushing Sombra.
“You guys said it was a good idea.” Sombra mumbled drawing circles in the bed. Isaac just laughed for a moment before patting Sombra on the head and scratching him behind the ears which caused the shadowy pony to purr at the affection.
“Aaawwwww... How come he gets special treatment?” Chrysalis whined. Isaac laughed again before petting Chrysalis too.
“Oh now that is just unfair.” Nightmare Moon pouted.
“Should have been quicker.” Isaac laughed as he looked upon Nightmare’s expression. She just huffed before lowering her head and looking even more pitiful. “Oh fine! Just enough of the face!”
Nightmare smiled her toothy fanged smile before jumping onto the bed while Isaac let go of Sombra and began to scratch behind Nightmare’s ears. He laughed as Sombra whined in disapproval while Nightmare purred.
He smiled even wider before there was a sudden...
*CRACK*
“Mister Isaac! Can you tell me what the answer to this problem is?” The teacher in front of his desk asked. he was holding a ruler which is probably what made the awful noise that brought him from his dreams.
Isaac blinked for a moment before looking to the board. “Uuuuh...” He said quietly before the whole class began to laugh at him. It was bad enough that he was a brony, but now the school had this to stack on top of it.
“I will see you next tuesday for detention Isaac.” The teacher said before walking back to the board and resuming the lesson.
“Yes, Mister Fisher.” Isaac sneered before looking to the clock and seeing only ten minutes left of class. He sighed and pulled out his note book before taking his share of notes.

Isaac arrived at his bus’s stop before stepping off and waving goodbye to his friends. He sighed and began to walk to his home. he looked to the sky and put his headphones in before watching the clouds before looking to his music and clicking a random song.
Gently bobbing his head to the music the world seemed to just fade away and before he knew it he had listened to at least eight songs before he was home. With a smile and a sigh, he walked inside with the most simple and comical greeting he could think of.
“Honey! I’m home!” He said and listening to the empty house echo his greeting before throwing his backpack to the ground. He lived alone since his family was gone due to a tragic accident and the only relative he had to take care of him was his aunt, but she traveled constantly due to her work. She sent him money and such to take care of him along with a bit extra to get him somethings to keep him entertained until she could see him.
Walking to his living room couch, he picked up his Xbox controller, pressed the home button, turned on the T.V. and watched as the T.V. sprung to life with his Xbox homepage up.
After a few hours of gaming he went to his backpack and pulled out his homework before finishing up what little he had. Putting away said homework, he walked to his room and pulled out his laptop and began to write for his story again.
he walked to the kitchen and made his dinner before taking it to a empty table. He sighed and looked at his food and then to the table.
“Yeah... I wish it was true.” He thought thinking of his dream that he had in school earlier today. He set his food down and sighed again when he felt something smooth and soft go under his left hand.
“But Isaac... Don’t you see?” He heard a familiar voice say. Then his right hand felt something furry and equally soft press against it.
“It is true.” A male voice said. Then he saw the familiar face of a certain dark, night alicorn fade into his vision.
“And we will never leave you. Ever.” She said smiling at him with a heart warming smile. Isaac smiled the biggest smile he never thought possible. He was now never going to be alone. And he had the best company. Letting tears fall from his eyes, he grabbed and hugged the nightly alicorn before sobbing into her coat.
“Thank you... So much.” He sobbed as the alicorn hugged him back.
Author's Note
Just a one shot short story that I wanted to write.
Not really my greatest work, but it's not that bad either.
