Okay, so i left my brother to go see that Apple Orchard or what ever the fuck it was, Man was I suprised when I came closer to that thing, I mean that whole place was HUGE!!! I mean you could see Apple Trees EVERYWHERE!!!

"Quite a Sight ain't she?"
"Huh?"

"Oh." What I saw would have made my brother's heart beat like CRAZY! In font of me stood an orange mare, with 3 apples stacked as a cutie mark, a stetson hat, a blond mane and tail tied into a "Pony" tail (HAH, see what I did there?)
"Well, Hardy ther partner, the names AppleJack, "With that she grabbed my hoof and started shaking like Crazy,I mean her grip was hard as HELL!! Well......Its' not like I was going to let this mare pull a One-Up on ME.....So I decided to return the handshake back........
"Well Hey, my names Dark Lightning, but you can just call me Dark" With that I grabbed her hoof and started to shake her hand with force as well, I guess she took this as a challenge or something cause we were in a sort of "battle" of force for like I pressume was a bout 30 minutes until she finally said.....

After those 6 words....she finally let go of my hoof, Oh my goddeses...I thought she would never let go of me, after finally getting some feeling in my hoof back....So did my bravado come back as well.....
"So....AppleJack....what do you wan't to get bested in...HMMM?!?!" Horseshoes, Test of strenght? A race around you apple orchard?" man was she about to get pumbled, back in ColtsVille I was the best in EVERYTHING! I was fast,strong,assertive, a leader, you name it, I knew I was going to win in whatever she was going to dish out at me, but it was always fun to see ponies with high intensions on winning fail......It just always brought a wicked smile to my face.....
"No......I was thinking of...." With that she circled me and then went to the nearest Apple Tree that she could find, to my suprise she then kicked it, and then to an even BIGGER suprise, ALL the apples from that tree fell, with that I thought to myself,"HOLY SHIT"......What the hell she was planning on doing, I had no idea, but I knew it involved trees....
''Oh......Shit.." Was my only thought as I had learned of the challenge that I was about to face, I mean, Sure I've heard of applebucking, but I've never done it in my ENTIRE life! I mean the only pony who used to AppleBuck was my grandpa but I never actually learned it from him. Sure I had seen it before since my dad did used to work on a farm and all but that was a shitload long ago.....but if this Cowgirl thinks she can beat me without me giving a fight, then she is sorely mistaken.....
"Alright then, AppleJACK.....lets do this, I mena how hard could it be?(REALLY HARD!) Its not like I ain't done this before"( Cause I never did!)

With that we made our way to the Bunches of Apple trees, deciding the victor......

Chapter 4: Applebucking Begins.....
Alright then...I gotta get SYKED!!! This is going to be intense, I mean it is my first time at this, but I have to try,like my father said, you never know you're going to suck or rock unless you try it at least. So I have to never give up or give in...unless that thing is WAY to impposible then yeah it is okay to quit, ONLY that reason, so alright then, LETS GET STARTED!
"So, AppleJack......how do we do this AppleBucking.....Huh?"
"Well, I thaught you would know how, OH WAIT....I forgot, you city folk, you don't know,huh.....
"WELL, I wouldn't consider me a city folk, but hey, whatever floats your boat or whatever."
"Well here are the RULES of this here contest, we will both go on and go to the trees on each of our sides, from their we'll go tree ta tree and buck the apples out of them(With that she bucks a nearby tree as an example, showoff.......), once where done with one tree, we go on to the next tree and do the same until we reach Big Mac (The red stallion I guess) and then we run back over here,get it?"
"Yeah,yeah, lets get going." hah, she thinks she can beat me in a race?Well I'm a FUCKING pegasus, I'll just fly myself overthere and then-
"Oh and by the way......ya can't use yar wings during the race neither."As she said that I saw that she was smiling a bit at the end of her mouth, guess she knew I was thinking that, well no matter, I'm still just as fast on my own 4 hoofs.

With that she went over to Big Mac and the old mare with thelittle filly, I couldn't make out what they were talking about but I did here this, "Not Welcome.......Come ON!.........I don't like this one bit.........Eeyup.........Fine......." and that's when she came back and said, "Alright, I accept yar offer, BUT.......there may only be one of you can live here since we only got one room to spare."
"Well, that sounds reasonable."( UH..no it didn't, were is Cyan going to live? NO.......I must think of him first, myself second,I'll give him the room when I win and I'll find my own home up in the clouds somewhere, or maybe close by the farm)
"Well come on....we got tah start now don't we?"
"Alright....."

Gosh darnit, what is taking Lighty so long,heh...Lighty, but seriously,with all that bragging I would have thought he would at least be head-ta-head with me but I'm ahead of him by like 20 trees by now, looks like victory is sweet as mine-

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, look at AppleJacks face when I started thundershock, shes all like, Wut?and I'm all like, Yeah, believe it. Its so funny, she has the same expression some mailmare I saw had....heh,heh, I'm closing in, 10 trees,.....7 trees...3 trees....1 tree...and I've caught up! Yeah! I knew I could do it, know if I could only surpass her then victory is certain....
"YEEHAW!" OH FUCK! She's done, and I still need 1 more tree, okay I'm done now, gotta beat her to the finish line...

SHIT! Were neck and neck right now, who would have thought a a farmer would have SO much energy and Strenght and Speed.....other ponies I faced were weak, guess its because they were always other pegasi or unicorns.But DAMN, she has some spunk for not giving up, I like that in a girl-I MEAN that she is some tough competion,yeah(heh,heh,heh).

Whats weird is that while saying that whole fake/or maybe real apology AppleJack stopped me and hugged me and said,

"Well alright, but I'm not going to be stayying in that room, my little brother will, I need to look out for him first, I'll find my own place to stay, but for now, the older brother in me is telling me to find a place for him then me."
"Wow, he must be lucky to have a brother like you......alright then, when hes ready to move in, call me so I can show him around his new home."
"Alright, I'll do that, thanks Jackie, you're a real great......friend."

Okay so like a part of this chapter is going to be about what Cyan did when I left him to wander off and stuff.....

"Well we could eat them all right now, OR......we could go share them with my friends tommorow.....in a PICNIC. Hey thats a great idea, a picnic, I could introduce you to all my friends at the picnic tommorow, I have to start sending the Invitations to my 5 gal pals, I'm going to be busy for a while Cyan, so could you meet me here tommorow morning at noon so I could take you to the park and introduce you there?"

2 hours later and a SHITLOAD of baking later
"We'll Cyan I guess you are an excellent baker, we would be glad to have you on board, you'll start in 2 days, until then good bye and were honored to have you with us."
"Thank You Mr.Cake, I won't let you down, and thank you Pinkie, for helping me....."
"Oh no problem silly, its what friends do."
"Friends.......we'll I guess I did make one today, you, well I'll see you tommorow then Pinkie.
And with that I left to go find Dark and tell him the good news, I hope he can come with me tommorow to the picnic, I just know we'll make more friends there, and I know that our lives here is going to be AWESOME!

"Hmmm, I've asked every pony and they haven't seen anybody like Dark or his little nit-wit brother. I guess checking in Clouds dale wasn't a go-

Wow, that was easier than I thought, I already have Twilight,Rarity,Fluttershy,and Rainbow Dash, now all I need is Apple Jack and we'll be complete! I can't wait for them to meet Cyan tommorow.

Chapter 6: The NOT SO GREAT AND POWERFUL
TIME FOR THE NEW CHAPTER, WELL ITS HERE. THE BEGINNING OF THIS CHAPTER IS ABOUT A DREAM I ACTUALLY HAD, IT WAS WEIRD AND ALL, BUT I'M TECHNICHLY A WEIRD GUY. SO HERE IT IS THEN.
As I laid there on my soft cloud, I could only think about tommorow.Meeting AJ's other friends, well I guess thats going to be fun. Man, what happened to me? I used to be an arrogant son of a bitch, scratch that, I still kinda am, but ever since meeting AJ, I've felt differently all of a sudden, must be hormones or something.....Well its sleep time now, and with that, I was out like a light.......what I didn't excpect was the weird dream I had....

"Where the fuck am I?"I was in some cloud, but the whole place was different.....I mean that all the clouds were a blood red and when I looked at the ground, there was no ground!There was, nothing......and thats when I saw her, I have NO idea how she got there, but I knew ONE thing.......she's going DOWN! The brash and arrogant Rainbow Dash was standing on a cloud a good 15 feet awy from me.

Chapter 7: Picnic TIME!!!
As I was finally heading to Sweet Apple Acres, I began to notice something, I was hungry as HELL! I haven't eaten anything but some Apples I got from AppleJack yesterday.Wait.....can it be? YES! Its a bakery,hey its that giant gingerbread house where I meet Cyan again.
As I landed on the ground and went inside, my nostrils were filled with the sweet scent of sweets from cupcakes to cookies to cakes! They had it all, I believe my mouth was watering but my eyes were too focused on the sweets to notice...
When I rang the bell, an orange stallion came from behind and said to me,"Well Hi there son, we haven't seen you here before, you new here?"
"Yeah. actually I am, me and younger brother moved here yesterday."
"Well what would you like?"
"I guess I'll have 5 of those cupcakes over there, how many bits?"
"That'll be 10 bits."As I paid the stallion, I learned that his name was Mr.Cake, he had a wife named Mrs.Cake, and they had a worker named Pinkie Pie.He told me she went out earlier with some unicorn, wonder who it was. He also gave me some advice, he told me,"Since your new here, Pinkie will throw you a suprise party, so watch out."
I liked him(NOT IN A HOMOSEXUAL WAY!!!) he was one of those guys that you could talk to if you have a problem, as I left, and while eating one of the cookies(Those cookies are to DIE for) I flew over to Sweet Apple Acres.

As we left, I couldn't help but notice some of the places we walked by, I saw fruit stands, candy stores, a clothes place called The Carasoul Butique, and SugerCube Corners again. I also saw high above me the weather factory were they make rainbows and rain and sunny days and all that other crap.
As we got closer and closer to our destination, she questioned me about stuff, like my past, why I came here, you know, the obvious stuff that you would ask a new pony. I always replied with the simpliest answers I could give and I guess she accepted that.
When I got there, I couldn't believe my eyes.......Cyan was there, and so were 3 other mares plus a baby dragon.
"OH FUCK!!!" I checked his breathing,he was alright, he didn't get a concussion, just knocked out, he was alright.
As I looked at the other side, I saw that dragon laughing a bit at my brothers mis-fortune since I herad him say,"Dweeb.....Idiot.......Dumbass......Duh." As I keep hearing this I did what was most sensable to me......teach him a LESSON.
So as I walked up to him, I saw the white mare move out of the way, leaving him to face up to ME.

I wasn't lying when I said that I had never seen anything like this before. The whole place looked.....peaceful,but I knew that wasn't the case....Rainbow wouldn't chose something "Peaceful" for something like this.

As I looked at Rainbow Dash she was trying to regain some of her "previous fans" but resist to me was futile. I HAD ARRIVED.
So after about 5 minutes of cheering, we went back to the starting line, I looked to the left and saw a mad Dash, to my right were fans of me and I even saw the princess smiling....a creepy smile. Weird.....

I never knew I could feel so much excitement in my ENTIRE LIFE. The minute the a "referee" said Go.....I was up and dove down the cliff. WOW, I have NEVER flown like THIS before. It felt AMAZING! All the room and the noise even thought annoying from the crowd. All the freedom was like NOTHING I've ever felt!!!
As we were entering this GINOURMOUS cave, I felt a tugging sensation. I didn't mind it since it was sorta difficult to fly threw with all the wind but thats when I was pulled in into some sort of suction.

Still can't believe so many ponies are still out, WAY different from ColtsVille, there once the sun sets you get your flank home as FAST AS YOU CAN!

(At Ponyville Hospital)
After my encounter Trixie...remember how I didn't return? How bogus of me. Well it turns out that once I left that these 5 ponies that were there and WEREN'T scared off actually carried her and took her to the hospitalThe only downside to that is that they then just dropped her off there and went their own ways. Once you think about it....its quite sad actually.
When she did wake up she found out she was in the hospital. She asked for the visitors to come forth but no one did since there weren't any.....she actually CRIED. Why? Because she learned that nopony actually cared about her....no one cared if she disapperead....not even her parents....but her backstory is for later. After sobbing for quite some time....she began to remember the evnts that lead to her being here. Her challenge to the other ponies, the strange pony coming forth, him somehow shooting an orb of light or some other material at her and then everything went black. After realizing what had happened to her.....the only thing that came to mind was revenge. After vowing revenge on the stallion and sobing because she was all lonely and again feeling that no one cared for her..............somepony did enter to come and see her.
I guess I should explain why he's here, well after seeing her on the stage and humiliating the other ponies(even thought they were the mane 6 and his friends.....he was a guy who always sided with the winner....what a douche huh?)
"So....who is this Trixie is seeing?"
"Well Great and Powerful Trixie....my names Rahsaan, and I couldn't help but notice that you were taken to the hospital since I was there when the incident happened and I wanted to know if you were okay."

The main room that lead me from the door was pretty big. But there was only a cloud couch and a some trash on the floor like magazines and cans(really is she such a slob) that were on the floor. Well at least she had a T.V in here (YES THERE ARE T.V'S HERE!) The room next to it was the kitchen, and let me tell you....IT WAS NOT A PRETTY SIGHT. I could go on about what is on the floor there and whatever that green thing is(might be a cabbage) on the floor but lets move on.
There were a set of stairs leading to the 2nd floor...but I ain't going there. Since I'm going to be crashing here might as well get some sleep, I guess the couch will do a nice sleeping arrangement for know. Now where to put my bag.....Ah here with me I guess. Ahhh....that was a GREAT nights sleep right there. I had woken up at about 2 hours after the sun rose? I don't know for sure. All I know is that is that I don't really know if Rainbow even came home. She must have come in while I was asleep or something. Did I tell you guys how comfortable I was? I mean I felt as I was in a cloud plus in a mixture of feathers and........um.....well WHATEVER! I was just REALLY warm. Don't know why thought, and I don't know why but my wings are covering me up like a blanket. Must have been cold or something, but it doesn't explain why I'm so warm. I tried to get up but both my wings were stuck to something. Well just one of them actually, one is covering me while the other is.....I don't know what the other is doing, might as well check to get out of this predicament.
As I turned my head (YES I WAS THINKING ALL OF THAT STUFF ABOVE WITH MY EYES CLOSED AND LOOKING UP....SO WHAT??) I saw only.....colors? I saw red,orange,blue,green,purple and yellow. WHAT THE FUCK? I moved y hoofs and saw soething wrapped around my waste....a cyan hoof.
"Um.....what the fuck?" I keep staring at......Rainbow Dash? Yup, it was Rainbow Dash. Her head was nuzzling in my chest while her wing was covering me as well. Her other hoof was somehow under me while her other wing was under me as well. I have NO idea how this happened....but I know that I DO know, I want to get out of this situation. I mean I don't REALLY mind it.....but its WAY to weird. I tried to inch my way out of there without waking her up.

Cyan had woken up early since he WAS living with the Apple Family, and they woke up at sunrise, he had woken at that time as well. He had actually started to get used to it.

"Someday....I'll find out what this is for, I know its an heirloom,but I feel like its much greater than that.....oh well,better get going." Lifting up his hoof and makingg water come from the bathroom, he then shifted his hoof to his face and mane so the water would know where to go.While the water was splashing on him, he started combing his mane and levitating a mirror to see himself.
"Fuck Yeah, now lets get going.'' And with that, Cyan teleported off to SugerCube Corner, not knowing that a green eyed mare with an orange coat saw and was know staring at his bag.

Wow, that trip sure was EPIC! I mean that was the first time I've done it correctly. "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!?!?!" Shadow and Phoenix(who had fucking calmed down after the STARE from Fluttershy)
"Uh, the names Thunder Cloud dude. I....."came" here a few days ago."
"Oh yeah? From WHERE?"
"Well I came from-
"THUNDER DUCK!" Twilight jumped on Thunder and pushed him to the ground. Cyan,Shadow, and Phoenix saw from the window what they were hiding from......The Royal Guards. Once they had left, Shadow had a smirk on his face, seeing what position Twilight and Thunder were in.
"So from what I'm seeing, we have an outlaw AND a hider of the criminal, so may whe ask, what DID you do?"
"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Thunder was working up, you could LITERALLY see sparks of lightning coming from his head in anger....like they were popping out or something.
Cyan was still staring at Thunder with his mouth open. It wasn't anything personal, it was just how he looked and resembled Dark in SO many ways. Red and Black mane, tail in same fashion. Only thing different was his coat color, it was white while Dark's was black. Even his cutie mark was similars to Dark's, it was a Lightning Bolt, except that it was pointed in a different direction from Dark's. Cyan finally snapped out of his daze of staring and spoke to Thunder.
"So Thunder.....when did you get here? Also, Phoenx and Shadow, when did you guys come to Ponyville?"
"Well I came her about 1 week ago, Pinkie threw me this AMAZING welcome party and, well we hit it off from there as you can see." Shadow then went over to Pinkie and gave her a heart warming hug and nuzzle.
"Well I got here over a month ago,I meet Fluttershy in a restaurant. I was working there after I came from Canterlot since the ponies there are WAY to snooby. So while working we meet, chatted, hung out, had a date, and now I live with her in her cottage."
"About that Phoenix..........WHAT does your Cutie Mark mean? Same to you Shadow and Thunder...what?"

Everypony was now laughing at Thunder who was rolling on the floor trying to put out the fire. He was failing miserably until Pinkie stopped laughing and poured flour on him. The flour did its intended job but Thunder was covered in flour and was being laughed at.

I have already gone and gotten her other stuff I hope she would like. I also found out what this whole "Hearts and Hooves Dance" was about. Turns out its a dance in which couples compete with other couples and the winner will receive 500 bits and a new house by the prairy(or something like that, I wasn't really listening). I know thats the Dance Rarity was talking about and since I don't want her to look bad in front of her friends.......I'LL GET BIG MAC TO GO WITH HER!!!! No wait he has work, WELL THEN......I'LL FIND SOMEPONY ELSE TO GO OUT WITH HER!
I saw an earth pony. He had a chestnut brown coat and mane with an hourglass as a Cutie Mark.

Rarity started to pace around the room, her eyes still visibly puffy from crying in the past few minutes, hours maybe? Her mane was frazzled up and had split ends, and she was wearing a pink nightgown I believe.
“Well……you don’t have to think and we could go to the Hearts and Hooves Dance-Before I could finish, I was levitated off the ground and had levitated me in front of her face.
“DID YOU SAY THE HEARTS AND HOOVES DANCE?!?!?!” Rarity had her eyes were wide, and red as those of a madmare.

He wants to take me to the Hearts and Hooves Dance? Well this is PERFECT! Phoenix had calmed down after that and was then standing next to Twilight who was whispering into his ear.

After leaving the Library,me and Cyan headed towards the Everfree. Since I knew that there was no way I was going to go back to Rainbow Dash's place, and he knew that if he went back to Sweet Apple Acres it would just be murder wit AppleJack there, we decided to just stick together and stay by the hideout so once we woke up we could just head on over there. Cyan was on a tree branch sleeping, and since I being the pegasus that I am I just hopped on a cloud and laid there.
I looked over the cloud and saw that Cyan was already up. By the looks of things, I guess its like 7:00 a.m or something like that.
"Hey Dark! If your done screaming like a philly will you come down and help me?"
"Yeah........uh alright."
"Great now that your here, let me explain everything that'd here. Right there *points to semingly normal bush* is the entrance to this "base" if you'll call it. Right there *points to a tree* is an escape route in case any mares DO somehow find out about the "base", its connected to the tree underground so-

"Its magic, I don't have to explain anything....now as I was saying, since its connected underground, we'll need to be able to have surveillance to the surface, thats why I placed lots of miniature cameras ALL OVER PONYVILLE!"
"How did you do that? And when did you have time for this? And like how many? Where did you get them? When you have time for all this? Isn't this kinda stalkerish? How- *Cyan places his hoof and covers my mouth*

As I entered the whole "base" thing, I have to admit, Cyan overdid himself here. I'm not going into detail about what was where and what was here,so I'm just going to cut to the chase, it pretty much had everything that a normal home would have. A bathroom, a small ktchen, sofas, a TV, and some huge ass TV screen where I guess the whole camera stuff works. When I went to the bathoom, turns out there's running water, energy, heat, and all that stuff. I would question it to Cyan, but he'd just say its magic or some crap like that.
"And this is where the magic happens."
"You mean how you got all this stuff? Or are you talking about the camera thing?"
"What do you think?"
"Something........I'll just go with the latter."
"Correct then. See all these monitors? Well like I said, captures all the stuff thats happening throughout all of Ponyville, so we'll always be one step ahead of those mares. See, look, theres a bunch of mares right there waiting by SugerCube Corner right now."

"SO.....what you two up to?"
"Oh, Cyan here is just- WAIT WHAT?!?!" I turned around and was meet with Atom, having a smug smile as always.

"Well for your information Atom, Cyan here made this sweet hideout for us with all these surveillance cameras all over Ponyville so that we can watch them and be prepared for anything that the mares have planned for us."
"Huh, well this is cool and all, but what about the food?"

"Well Dark, Cyan DID give us plans....and also the hatch thing is like wide open, so its pretty impossible to miss."

After Blaze came, evrything was normal for the time. Time after time we would go and watch some television and see if there was something good on, or we would just talk for a bit, but both of those things proved to be real boring and unpleasant. After a couple of hours and us bored out of our minds,(except for Cyan, he brought a BOOK....wow, yes boring I know, but at least he wasn't complaining about boredom)
Okay....before I tell what happens, I need to say something....I hate Thunder. I just plain hate him. I can find no redeeming qualities about him, and is it just me,or he looks WAY too much like me...seriously. I mean, if you looked at him, then me, then back to him, we look really similar. Both have red and black mane, same stature, feature, wings, and all that stuff. I mean, what the hell? Its like if we were long lost brothers or something, I mean look at his Cutie Mark! It looks almost like mine! Just in a reversed form. And if we changed his coat color from white to black, he would look EXACTLY like me. And to top it off, Cyan told me what he did to this one Pegasus, can't remember his name though.......said that he sent an electrical current through him....so he now has lightning abilities as well...like me....another reason that I find his and my similarities way too weird. I didn't really tell nopony cause I thought that they would say that I was just overreacting, but I'm still standing by what I said.
Alright so as I was saying, after those two came, everything was cool and alright. We got to watch stallions get dragged off by mares into there doom which was always funny as they always tried to fly away only to be caught in an ambuse. Sure we could have gone and helped them....but this was much more enjoying, and everypony was having a good time......except when we saw HIM.

Something that shall cause the cameras to go haywire and be innificient for use. Now some of you may be asking how will we locate them, but I had that covered as well, from what Spike has told me from their conversation last night, they are hiddedn in some sort of base. None to worry because I had a hold of one of them, and now...he is our little spy. I put a little chip on the side of his head so that he may speak to us whenever possible.

The mare-in-heat ,although a standard condition in mares, has three different spectrums or types of the case. The medium spectrum also know as the "standard" is when a mare goes into this heat like trance for a mate but for a small period of time. They are stronger then the average mare as well, but a well-tuned defense can put them in their place. The standard will go to a place where stallions naturally gather then attack. Their skills are on more fast movement to out maneuver their opponents to get their prize. On the low end of the spectrum, there is the "primal". Primals stay in their state longer and are far more powerful then the other two spectrums. A primal can successfully beat down the strongest of stallions, so then they could mate. Primals also are very aggressive as well. A primal will fight off or even kill any mare who gets to close to their intended mate.
However their downfall is in their name. A primal's brain is reduced to primitive basics being only able to communicate through grunts, sighs, shouts, and roars. The best way to deal with a primal is to outsmart rather then outfight. Finally, the higher end of the spectrum and most unusual is the "technical". The technical is in someways a step up in the evolution of the state. Technicals have a longer heat rate then both, but instead of a extreme speed or strength, they get the ability to trance their targets and hunt them down properly. What makes them unique is that their brains slowly change and fine tune themselves as soon as they meet their target. Strange enough when they meet their targets, they are not in their heat trance. A technical will stalk their prey and wait for the right moment to attack catching their soon-to-be mate off guard. After victory a technical can make a personality that fits the new stallion so that they can reenter society together with no fear of discovery.

Shadow tried teleporting, but before he could a mare got a hold of his horn and began sucking on it, and with horns being the weakspot of Unicorns, he was then an easy target. Phoenix tried to fly, but he couldn't outfly all the pegasus mares, not even his fire could stop the Storm clouds that some mares later brought. Thunder ctually had a fighting chance in this. Nopony could even get close to him, that was until the unicorns came. One of them shot some spell at him, don't know what it did but he couldn't shoot anymore lightning. He tried flying but another spell was shoot and it closed his wings together, after that he was pretty much a sitting duck, and well....yeah.

Through the years when things calmed down and stallions, their population will never be nowhere near what it was thousand of years ago but making progress, and mares were not as aggressive towards males anymore. A mare-in-heat was seen as more of a sexual mental condition and because of it the guards have a group of mares who deal directly with the containment of them. A single MIH could destroy a relationship by taking a males from their original lovers, severely injure other mares that they deemed a threat, and worse of all permanently destroy the personality of a male for their own gain. The mare-in-heat is not a permanent condition though, and usually after a few hours the mare will calm down , come back to her senses, and then feel a wave of embarrassment wash over her for losing control. Contrastly if a MIH ever gets her hooves onto a male, she rebuilds him to her image for her pleasure and then they will be linked forever. The male will never revert back to normal, and if his MIH is somehow taken away from him, then he will revert back into a blank slate waiting for some other mare to rewrite him.
That permanent loss of mind and soul is what makes MIHs something to be dealt with extreme care. When sexual education was brought up in classes, the mares were quickly taught about the symptom that takes over a mare at least once in her lifetime, and stallions are reminded constantly of the warning labels of a MIH.
