The sun was shining brightly over the great skies of Manehattan. I flew gracefully toward the largest news post, The Manehattan Daily. "Morning, Avalon. You had a job for me?" I asked, opening the door to the blue mare's office. "Yes, Osprey," Avalon said, looking up from her notes. "You are my best journalist & I need you to do something very important for me." she said, closing the door with her horn. "I need you to interview the Elements of Harmony bearers."
The Elements or what?! I stared wide-eyed at the manager. "Who, ma'm?" I said politely. "The Elements of Harmony! Princess Celestia's students of harmony?" I shook my head at my manager's words. "Well, you have to interview them like you did Fancypants in Canterlot and Sapphire Shores or Hioty Toity! Celestia and I have it all planned out, she'll meet you in Town Center." Avalon said excitedly. "Pack you're bags Osprey, you're going to PonyVille."
That was the start of my of my some-what exciting adventure from the elegant and busy streets of Manehattan to the small, barren town of PonyVille. I took my bags off the train and nodded my head politely to the Engineer and I trotted over toward Town Center. "Hello, you must be Osprey." an elegant voice called. I turned to face a beautiful white mare with flowing hair. "You must be Princess Celestia." I said politly and smiled. Quickly, a flood of unicorn, earth and pegasus ponies from now where came running toward the stand. This "Princess" didn't flinch and waited 'till everypony was quiet. Most of them where talking about my bags....and haircut but I didn't bother. I was from Manehattan, the second most elegant place, aside from Canterlot.
"Good morning citizens of PonyVille. With me today, I have a very important pony." Celestia seemed to say for I wasn't listening. "Osprey of Manehattan Daily." That statement sent murmurs in the crowd. Most were good and excited, others were nasty and envious. "He is here to interview the greatest ponies in Ponyville. Rainbow Dash the Loyal, Applejack the Honest, Fluttershy the Kind, Rarity the Generous, Pinkie Pie the Joyous & Twilight Sparkle the Magic." I had my work cut out for me. Better start. As the crowd was dismissed and Celestia left, I started to grab my bags but a blue like glow flew around them and I turned to see Rarity. "Hello, darling. I'm Rarity. You must be a level of sophistication if you're from Manehattan!" she sweetly said, smiling.
We talked until she showed me a vacant house I could live in. "Thank you Rarity. You are quite helpful." I said waving to her. I closed to door and watched her waltz off before I unpacked my necessary supplies. I quickly organized them and lied asleep on the bed.
