Fluttershy was meandering in her garden with Angel perched on her back happily munching on a carrot, as she inspected one of her plant’s, a light caught her eye high in the sky. It appeared to be a fire of some kind. The blaze streaked across the sky, past her house and with a loud explosion made her house shudder on impact.
She hid behind one of her planter’s which gave little cover. Whimpering as something inside the hole moaned. Angle had then run from her back and to the crater, instinctively she rushed to catch him but ended up falling in front of the creature within.
Twilight was as usual buried in books, and scrolls as the guests entered her study she knew Fluttershy, but who was that next to her?

They started there walk over to Rarity’s boutique to see if she could manage to get Jack some cloths
“I was hoping you could dress our friend here” twilight interrupted. “Oh, but of course!” Rarity boasted looking up at the new being.

After reading the note he walked out wearing the sapphire tux and asked
After stepping inside he realized how much bigger he was to the ponies. He was about a foot taller than them and he was sure he outweighed them by about half. He could fit snugly in the carriage but his head was touching the roof. He looked out the window to see that they were flying! Watching the clouds go, by he wondered how they did all this. Not wanting to ask questions given his situation; he remained silent for the remainder of the ride.

When they arrived, he was escorted by eight guards to a small room where he was utterly alone. After what seemed like age’s a guard in black armor entered
“this way” he ordered.
Jack followed obediently until they were climbing the stairs of a dark tower, then he got worried and asked
“Where are you taking me?” His voice was shaky and unsure.
“I am to take you to Luna.” He replied.
At this Jack relaxed only slightly cautiously inching up the spiral stairs.
Once they arrived at the top Jack found himself in a very dark throne room.
“Hello Jack.” A sweet, and calm voice rung from the blackness.
“H-hello…” jack was on edge not sure where the speaker was.
“I do apologies for you, eh, forceful trip here…” the voice called.
“What do you mean? I came here of my own free will.” He chimed.
“Not that, your ‘landing’ I mean.” Luna said as she walked into his view her night sky mane flowing at her side, she had none of her ‘royal gear’ on at that time.
“What do you have planned for me?” he asked.
“Not important right now” she assured him. “For now you need to rest, I need you awake tonight."
“What for?” he asked getting annoyed.
“You will find out soon enough” she promised. He was indeed too tired to try to argue with her.
“Where will I be sleeping?” he wondered aloud.
“In my bed chambers.” She told him.
To this Jack blushed, Luna saw this and hastily told him.
Jack laughed and told her. “It’s okay, I figured.”
Luna giggled as well. Jack then excused himself from the room to get some rest.
When he awoke it was pitch black out his window, he put his over coat on and went out onto the balcony attached to the room.
“Good evening” Luna said. Standing out there waiting for him.
“So what do you have for me to do?” he asked expecting that that’s why he wasn't in a dungeon.
“I wish to –if you would allow it – integrate you into this lands population.”
“’integrate’?” He asked.
“Yes, you may do this in any way you can think of.”
“Well I was planning to join the army in my world, when I came of age…” he at that moment for the first time since he got here really thought of home.
He then felt instantaneously home-sick. Luna notices this in his eyes and asks.
“Whatever is wrong?”
“My mother, my sister, my friends, how can I go on without them?” he moaned.
“You are concerned about your family?” she guessed.
“Yeah… but its more than that, are they concerned about ME?” he looked to the ground as he said this.
After a long pause Luna broke the silence.
“Do you know how long you've been gone?” Luna asked.
“Not a clue…” he said.
Luna had a pitying look on her face, but Jack was too gloomy to notice. There was another long silence as they looked to the sky.
“Beautiful night…” Jack finally said.
“Thank you.” Luna replied. “What?” Jack asked confused.
“I raise the moon every night” Luna explained. “I am in charge of dreams, the night, the moon, and the stars”
“well I can’t say I’m surprised… with all that’s been happening…” Jack said.
“Have you decided on what you will do?” Luna asked.
“I want to blend in as much as possible while I’m here, so I guess I if it’s possible will become one of you.” Jack wreathed at the thought if something were to go wrong.
“I will call discord…” Luna seemed upset about something.

After some time Luna returned with discord, who was looking far to chipper, but what else do you expect from him? He, without a word created a bright flash and Jack woke up a few hours later in the wee hours of the morning.
“Hnng…” he groaned as he rubbed his head with his hoof.
his hoof? He looked at the new appendage in pure shock, the blue purple stump looking softer than it really was.
“How are you feeling?” Luna asked.
“different.” He said looking at himself in the mirror.
He reminded himself of the sunset he ever so loved to watch before bed, his mane a soft yellow and his tail faded from a deep blue purple to an orange to a yellow, his flank sporting three stars. He was also a unicorn! A unicorn! He was beside himself with excitement.
“c-can I?” he couldn’t finish the question but Luna knew what he wanted to know and smiled.
“If you are willing to practice, maybe.”
“I-I….” he lept onto Luna eyes full of tears and heart filled to the brim with thanks.
“How could I ever repay you Princess?” he asked. And she laughed and said
“I would be most happy if you would let go of me.” She giggled as he lowered himself from his clinging position, blushing.
“S-sorry.” He stuttered.
“No need.” She told him.
And he took his time examining his new appearance, after a good ten minutes he looked to Luna and asked
“where will I be staying?” he asked.
“Where would you be most comfortable?” she replied.
“Well… I lived in a small city town, if that makes sense.” He thought for a second and told her.
“I would like to join the guard.” This took her by surprise.
“A-are you certain?” she seemed like it would be a very bad idea.
“Yes, I’m sure.” He looked very sure of his choice.
fire in his eyes and dept. in his heart he looked for her approval but found none.
“Why do you look like you’re worried? It’s not like I’m going into a mine field or anything.” He said.
“But you may be…” she looked as though he would never return from this.
“As you are my witness I will return home one day. Even if it means giving up my life.”
The fire in his eyes was almost strong enough to burn the room. They left the room, Jack stumbling slightly, and then a voice called through the halls.
“Jack, may you please go to the throne room?” he looked to Luna who gave him a sober nod.
As he walked to the throne room many of the guards gave him unsure looks. Upon entering he was greeted by the over-active pinkie pie, tackling him down and talking nonstop.
“Oh! Hihowareyou? I’mhappyaboutmeetingyoudoyoulikeparties? Ilikeparties! Therebrightandfunand—heywhydoyoulookangry?” he pushed her off annoyed.
“Will. You. Get. Off?!” he looked around seeing them.
Twilight pacing back and forth thinking of why there still here, and who the other two are.
”who are the other two?” he asked, still shaken by the sudden pinkie bombing.
“Ah’m applejack!” AJ said, her Sothern accent unmistakable.
taking his hoof she shook vigorously, then pinkie bounced up next to her
“I’m pinkie pie!” AJ let go of his hoof and he held it in the other nursing the slight sting in it.
“Why are you here?” he asked.
“W-We wanted to stay and wait for you.” Fluttershy answered in a very small voice, it was almost inaudible.
“Okay, that’s fine by me; did you want to take me back?” He responded.
“I-If that’s okay with you…” Fluttershy swooned.
“Well I could use some time to get used to being like this.” To these words Luna relaxed.
and so, they were off, to new beginnings, and new friends.
