THE STORY OF WALTER, A TALE OF WAR, SEX, FRIENDSHIPS AND FOESHIPS, AND DEATH. (but mostly epic explosions.)
-chapter one-
the war
Walter was born on the 2nd of December, 1981. The location was somewhere in the Rogue Mountains, during a great war inbetween Equestria and Caninia. You could say, "The Dogs were After him."
His parents lived in a small 10-house village on the side of a mountain. This tiny little village was actually a very strategic point in the war, an isolated trade point. So, on his 47th day of life, a soldier came to town, and went to the town square. He called everyone up and said the life-changing urgent news. Steamwalkers were coming down the mountain towards the village. Nobody cleared the snow. Nobody turned on the lights. Everyone raced down the mountain, holding babies, bags, children's hooves. Walter was wailing in the freezing, frost-bitten air. There was a scream from the left side of the group, as everyone looked towards the mountain, and the first giant Steamwalker emerged slowly from the mountainside. Hopefully, nobody had spotted them yet. But they were wrong. *BOOM* The cannons fired artillery. Everyone dropped their goods, grabbed their children and babies, and ran down the mountain. *BAM* Walter, His mother, his father, and 5 others were knocked out from a nearby explosion.
-chapter two-
containment
Walter's mother woke up, woke her husband, and shook all the others awake.
"Where are we???" A couple people mumbled.
"SILENCE" Yelled the guard dog at our cage. Walter's mother, Rachel, looked around. She saw tons upon tons of birdcage-looking prison blocks hanging all over the place in a dark, dark containment chamber.
"NOOO!!!" Yelled some prisoners, as they are being led to their execution by dogs in black armour holding huge Electrostaffs. Cries of terror, sadness, pain, and simple surprise were being heard from all directions. *CLANG*
"Your turn." Grumbled the new Black Hound guard said, opening the cage door.
"Noooo!" Cried some of the mothers. Two more smaller dogs in black masks came in and whisked their babies and children away.
"NOOOO!!!!" Now it was Rachel's turn to yell.
"SILENCE!" The Electrostaff Guard yelled, stabbing at her through the bars with the staff. *ZAP* She fell to the floor, convulsing.
"Your Turn." Said the Black Hound. Two other, more gruff dogs wearing black masks came in and took the husbands for execution. The dogs came back, and the Black Hound said
"Your Turn." It seemed like the only thing he could say. The dogs grabbed the wives, and dragged them off to a different room. (You may or may not want to know what happens to them there)
Now, Lets switch to Walter's Father's point of view.
-chapter three-
execution
David walked glumly down the catwalk, staring at all the other cages below him. He looked up as he heard a sudden 'Shhwick, CLINK' noise. A door had opened infront of them, to a room with a blood-stained wall and a very large dog with a minigun. Some of the other ponies behind him started to resist, but then the dogs just yanked on the chains harder. They were led to stand infront of the blood-stained wall. A dog on a television screen started counting down.
"Drei"
...
"Svei"
...
"Eins"
...
"Execute."
The dog with the minigun fired, executing all 3 men. A trapdoor opened up below them, sending their mangled, twisted, bloodied bodies falling down to the incinerator room.
Now, For Walter's perspective.
-chapter four-
abandonment
Walter was too stunned to wail or cry out for help. The dogs carrying the babies walked on to a platform and it lowered down to the foot of the walker. The dogs threw the babies off the edge, leaving them to freeze to death. But Walter was a lucky one. In a way. He rolled down through the snow, barely being missed by the walker's stomp. He rolled and rolled and rolled down the mountain, into the valley. He landed on a lilypad flowing down the river. Walter drifted for a day, down the river, never seeing anyone of his kind. He ended up in the lake inbetween, what is today, as Fluttershy's Cottage and Ponyville.

Walter grew up here, feeding off berries and nuts as he grew older and older, the memory of what happened to his parents getting dimmer and dimmer. One day, Walter's lilypad drifted off on a different path than usual. He woke up to find himself floating through a village back up in the snowy mountains of which he used to call home. For a few months. He emerged from the little wooden tent he had set up on the lilypad to have everyone staring at him. Walter stepped out onto the rock and kicked some snow. People around him started looking away from him and talking some weird language he did not understand. Walter turned his head sideways and would have thought (if he knew English) "what?" But then when he looked back he saw his little float drifting off a cliff. Apples and vines, some tools, and even a map fell out of his tent and rolled down the river, when suddenly everyone ran into their houses, closed the blinds and shut the door. "???" Walter suddenly felt something hook around his front right leg, and pull him inbetween some of the wooden, scarred buildings. He turned his head to find a cute little cyan filly with beautiful hair of many colors.
"What in the world are you doing out here?!" she whispered angrily to him, face only about a centimeter away from his. No response. This was not only because he could not speak the English Language, but because he was dazed by the shine in her large, round magenta eyes. "Ugh." this mysterious, yet, I have to admit beautiful, filly groaned and said "Here, Follow me" as she tugged his arm around the building, he followed. A low growl could be heard, it seemed to come from all directions. The cute filly 's face flushed white. She flew upwards, being one of the only Pegasus ponies in the village, darted down a chimney, with Walter squeezing in after her.
"OH THERE YOU ARE MY SWEET LITTLE DAUGHTER, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" a female unicorn raced towards the cute Pegasus pony and smothered her with love.
"Mooom!" says the Pegasus. Then she whispers, "there's a boy here." An awkward moment when the mother notices that Walter is standing there, Walter's cheeks turn hot pink.
-chapter five-
meeting the locals
~ Three Years Later ~
It was love at first sight.
Every time he was near her, he was in an awkward position where his cheeks turn bright pink.
Walter, at this point, has a mane and tail of a Charcoal Black color, white hide, wings with a slightly gray tint towards the end, and a unicorn's horn. Once, he engaged in conversation with her.
"Who are you? I mean, we've known eachother for three years now, so to me, you're three years old." Rainbow Dash asked Walter.
"Oh, I'm just... oh... im... i guess... ᶯᵒᵖᵒᶮʸ" Walter nearly whispered
"Excuse me? I Couldn't Quite hear that." Rainbow Dash replied.
Walter cleared his throat and puffed up his chest and said "I am Walter."
"From...?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I don't know." Walter replied.
"That sucks." Rainbow dash said.
-chapter six-
the move
~ Ten Years Later ~
Rainbow Dash and Walter moved out in their separate ways. Rainbow Dash moved to Cloudsdale and Walter to Manehattan. Walter, In Manehattan, went to WMU, West Manehattan University. There he met famed "DJ Pon-3" or, Vinyl Scratch, and Octavia. He shared good memories with Octavia, joking around at lunch, and sometimes in class. Vinyl, on the other hand,
"Hey, You want to go to a bar?" Vinyl asked Walter.
"Hmm.. Sure? What the heck." Walter replied. They sat down at the front of the bar, on the barstools. There were strippers across the room in the other corner dealing it out. "Um... I'm not so comfortable in this environment... Octavia warned me to stay away from strippers and alchohol at the same time..."
"Oh you mean 'Tavi? Yeah... Well... We seem to have a little action ourselves with or without alchohol." Vinyl said with a smirk. Walter blushed and felt his colthood getting aroused.
At that moment, Vinyl stuck some gum under the table and saw his piece.
She raised her glasses over her head and looked at him questioningly,
Walter remained silent as his trombone played the lower notes, if you know what I mean.
Vinyl scooted over in the booth and bent over, when suddenly,
"May I take your order?" the man at the booth asked.
She snapped up and said "Two rusty pipes, on the rocks." He later returned with two brim-to-bottom glasses full of their strongest stuff. It was possibly the best night Walter would ever not remember. Walter woke up the next morning with the biggest hangover. He opened his eyes and his skull metaphorically cracked. I guess the many gods of the hangover support had their own problems to deal with. Walter fell asleep again, and woke up to find Vinyl and Octavia peering down on him.
"Excuse my suggestive commentary, but Me and my acquaintance Vinyl here have found you to be having the most massive of erections..."
"Morning Wood." Vinyl chipped in, treating herself to some cold pizza.
"Morning Wood..." Octavia paused, "That I have ever seen. So me and Vinyl decided to 'tend to you' you in your sleep.
Walter fainted.
