Previous ChapterNext ChapterIn Zebrica, a certain blue pony was busy brewing a potion. She was homeless, jobless and forced to move to Zebrica. Previously she traveled all over Equestria. She loved her life, it was great. She was only trying to share her talents like everypony else did. It wasn't fair, no matter what she tried Twilight Sparkle would always embarrass and ruin her.
No matter where she went she was ridiculed and laughed at. She was hell bent on getting revenge on this purple prat of a pony called Twilight.
She added a dead frog to the cauldron and stirred it gently. She laughed maniacally as the liquid turned mossy green. She had done it finally. After years of trying to perfect this potion she'd made it. She jumped around and cheered before deciding to put her plan into action as soon as possible. All she needed was one pony to drink a cup of this brew and she'd have caused the largest epidemic in Equestrian history!
She used a large ladle to scoop some potion into a cup and sniffed it. She sighed and let the warm steam caress her muzzle. It smelt so good, yet it was so bad. She quickly filled up the rest of her cups and stood up tall. She brushed the dirt off her coat and mane before loading the cups into a cart with the words "soup for the homeless" at the top.
She set a brisk pace towards the homeless shelter, the cart she was pulling making that quite hard. She'd used the last of her bits to buy the cart and was now broke but it would be worth it in the end.
As she made her way to the homeless shelter many of the zebras she'd passed waved, nodded or greeted her with a hug. She was well known in that area for her contribution to the community. She often made soup for the homeless, of course it was just so they'd trust her.
When she arrived she greeted Komi, the zebra who ran the homeless shelter, with a warm hug and a smile.
"It's good to see you child, what have you today?" She asked with a warm smile. The pony tried not to laugh or snicker, a small part of her felt sorry for the zebras she would soon betray, but more of her wanted revenge.
"Just more soup for the homeless Komi, I made it myself as I always do!" She said innocently. She always acted like and innocent foal trying to do good around the villagers.
Komi smiled and opened the kitchen door for the pony. She nodded and pulled her cart inside. She swiftly set up the cups of "soup" on the counter and waited for the flood of homeless hungry ponies.
As they entered she smiled warmly at them and waved them over to the delicious smelling soup. They obliged without hesitation. Each of them took a cup, thanked her and found a seat to drink in peace.
She's made the potion to act in 8 hours so it wouldn't have an immediate effect except for filling their stomachs. She watched as their kind faces looked to her to thank her. She kept her happy front up but inside she felt more guilt than anypony ever had. It was too late to go back now. She already had a room of 30 ponied drinking her potion. She gulped silently and continued to smile and wave.
One zebra walked up to her once he'd finished his soup. She knew him well, he was a kind pony and he was sort of her, friend. She felt for him the worst. She wished he hadn't come here, but he was very hungry and she knew he would deep down. He smiled warmly and hugged her.
"Best soup yet Trixie."
